Because Jamil and Azul wanted Nami to know both of their own languages, after she had started speaking they adopted the “one parent, one language” model for bilingual children (and eventually adding ‘English/standard common language in twst which for me would be English’ at school and other places)
This did however lead to an era where Nami had absolutely NO CLUE that her parents could actually speak to each other. She’d grown up hearing abt the mermaid princess SHE got a husband without saying a word it made perfect logical sense that her parents were together despite being unable to speak to each other as well.
So for the longest of time, whenever one would give her a little test (like Jamil asking her to bring Azul a folder he left in the living room to his office) she took it with GREAT importance, because SHE was their only lifeline!! Only She could foster the communication between them, so she had to make sure it was perfect!!!
Genuinely she believed 100% her dads had never spoken a word to each other. There was one time specifically where Jamil was leaving to go hang out with ruggie, and she ran off to go say goodbye at the door. Azul absentmindedly just went “tell your baba I love him!” As she scurried off and her little brain just exploded.
Bc that was also the first time she had ever been told that! To her this was the first time Azul had EVER said I love you to Jamil. She fucking RAN to Jamil and just jumped while going “papa said he loves you!!!1!1!1!!1” bc to her this was like. The BIGGEST moment ever.
(Of course Jamil was not entirely aware of her thought process at that moment, and simply kissed her on the forehead before saying “goodbye dear. Could you tell him I love him too?” Which lead to little Nami freaking out more and like. Basically jumping Azul on the couch. That is when Azul REALIZED that she thought they just spoke their one language-)

Danny's Pizzeria
Ghosts get bored, a lot, and sometimes even Ghost Kings get ideas from their videogames in childhood. So, when Lunch Lady commented that she didn't have enough ingredients to cook for a "half human" (read, him) the halfa traveled to another dimension and gave them to her without much trouble.
Then Lunch said that she wanted to experiment, and he got her new ingredients, from all possible places (always asking Clockwork if it really was edible).
The funny thing was that several ghosts wanted to try the new "pizza" flavors that the King had been enjoying. So he just opened a pizzeria in the Realms. The thing is, the ingredients cost money, and while he could pawn the gold from the vault, Clockwork told him that he shouldn't leave "haunted" materials everywhere.
So he just expanded his pizzeria to various dimensions. The menu sounded strange anywhere outside of the Realms, with the most exotic ingredients. But he needed money, and it was the simplest way that didn't include bewitching an unsuspecting poor man.
Of course he, along with other ghosts made the deliveries (it depended on who wanted to travel, mostly Johnny and Kitty). Pizzerias just popped up at any moment before disappearing (even though his business was doing fine online) simply because he thought disappearing buildings was fun.
No wonder Billy Batson freaked out when he noticed the pizzeria next to the Rock of Eternity. That John Constantine fainted when he saw it next to the House of Mystery or that the Watchtower investigated the establishment that had appeared on the Moon (Of course, Flash ordered). But hey, the ghost king need some kind of entertainment.

The idea of Raphael being too involved in my (newest) Tav's backstory yanked me by the shoulders and told me to work.
What if, instead of Bloo's mother casting the charm herself, it had been Raphael?
He agreed to help the warlock hide her child from Levistus - who sought to groom the infant into freeing him from the ice Asmodeus had imprisoned him in.
Knowing he could use Bloo in his grand scheme to conquer the Nine Hells, Raphael offered her mother a deal.
If he bound Bloo by a contract and installed her as the Archduchess of Stygia, he would rule the infernal layer through her. It was important that he kept her isolated to better manipulate her in the future.

some of you simply do not understand the vision of imperator being young and stupid and in love and she’s autistic and she’s never been in love before so she feels sick to her stomach whenever she’s around nihil and she doesn’t know why but she absolutely aches for more of it like
she’s been in Relationships sure she’s slapped the label on a few affairs with other siblings but it never lasts, she can’t attach herself to someone like that and after a month the rush has worn off and she’s lost interest and it’s interfering too much with her schedule and her work and she’d truly much rather be praying than sitting around listening to someone talk about their day. it’s not love and she’d never call it love, she doesn’t need love and she’s happy knowing that.
but christ nihil shows up with his stupid bright eyes and imperator is a deer in headlights. she doesn’t know how to flirt in a way that means something to her, something that can make her her feel like she means it. she knows what people want to hear, she knows how to please, by all means she can obtain nihil’s attention without struggle but she doesn’t want some artificial sense of a relationship. she’s aching for soul crushing devotion and she’ll do anything to get it.
nihil knows she’s weird knows she’s a little fucked up but he’s so fucking enamored with her. can feel her stare at him like she doesnt know he’s looking right back at her throughout black mass, the way she gets too physical when demanding his attention and will grab him by the shoulder if she feels he’s not listening to what she’s saying. he knows she’s fucked up but when she starts passing him gifts is when he realizes that there’s seriously something wrong with her because why is she handing him animal teeth and telling him about the half decomposed raccoon she saw rotting on the side of the road and he’s like holy fuck she had to escape an institution or something.
she’s deranged she’s probably hunting small animals for sport and picking roadkill up without gloves because she doesn’t want the poor thing to go to waste out in the elements. her fucked up gifts are some sort of blessing in disguise for the newly appointed papa nihil however because they’re the only thing making his office look metal and have some semblance to the aesthetics of their church. at some point he attempts to hide the jars of bones in his closet because they’re a little off putting when he’s trying to focus on planning his next sermon but imperator asks about them and he feels so guilty that he decides he’ll simply have to get over it.

I think in game it's kind of presented that Julie Farkas thinks poorly of, if not outright dislikes, the Great Khans which I guess is fair enough but also reeks of the attitude of the writers viewing drug addicts and raiders as subhuman. And I don't think really it lines up with either the Khan/Follower relationship depicted in game nor does it Follow Julie's reestablished personality. I think she's a little exasperated with them but not enough to warrent the "who? Oh you mean those raiders who used to clash with the vegas tribes 🙄" line that she has about them like cmon girl 1) people are like your only allies outside of Freeside and 2) why are you taking the Three Families side in this??? They're causing just as many if not more issues than the Khans even Arcade has lines about how the Families are exploiting Freeside and I can't think who else she means by "vegas tribes" Anyway. It does make sense for her to be annoyed with how they're causing more drug problems in Freeside but i don't think it makes sense for her to be written in a way that makes it sounds like she's angry with the Khans for *using their precious medical knowledge to make the evil morphine rather than the morally good morphine* when really she should be more angry with House/The Families for causing the poverty in Freeside and the NCR for forcing the Khans into the precarious position they're in while disallowing the Followers from truly helping them. The fact that by the time that Fnv comes around the Followers and NCR's relationship has broken down should be enough for the Followers to revisit relations with the Khans since, as I said, the Khans have been the only truly consistent allies of the Followers and more importantly, the NCR JUST MURDERED ALL THEIR CHILDREN. In this essay I will

not to be too hopeful on main but i do believe there is an important part both kazuki/rei and misaki forgot: asking miri what she wants. the show has been very clearly saying "listen to your child, they arent dumb" in several episodes already, so i think it would make sense if miri wouldnt accept the decision made for her and decided to do something about getting back her papas

I'M SO UNWELL ABOUT THIS. Like look at these lines! They're almost identical!
These are the ones after Astarion's ascension, when Ulma talks to PC, and the last one - when you say "no".
And these are the ones you get when Jaheira is speaking with Astarion (romanced companion) after Dark Urge's ascension (I suppose, you can call it that?):
LIKE OH MY FUCKING GOD?? these lines (and just in general, the way whole confrontation goes) are so similar, almost.. mirroring even??
