When ever Tsunade has a mad scientist moment (she misses holding a scalpel) she tries to go to Orochimaru's lab in desperate hopes he'll let her assist him - the bastard always slaps her hand away, pushes her out of the lab and shuts the door in her face with a smug smirk as if taunting her for not finishing med school.  Naruto is the only one who has complete access to the lab. If one would dare to venture down to Orochimaru's 'dungeons' they would often find the chibi babbling the ME's ear off about what happened in school that day with said ME responding to the babbling while dissecting dead bodies. Good thing his school teachers think Naruto is just a very creative child. 

Tsunade dislikes the favoritism Orochimaru shows. She was the first blond in his life after all. She should have more privileges.

♦ Akatsuki Law - a VERY successful Law agency run by Nagato, Yahiko and Konan. They provide FORCED free services to ANBU because Tsunade insists that’s what family does and Nagato wishes he was cousins with anyone but her. 

♦ Any press conferences that require ANBU presence are dealt with either from a member of the department in question. Itachi, Tsunade and Kakashi stay in the shadows since their roles require them to keep a low profile. 

♦ Social events that require their presence are Senju And Uchiha family related and Tsuande and Itachi attend them. Itachi with a poker face and Tsuande with endless whining. 

♦ Kakashi is incharge of attending all of Naruto’s Parent/Teacher conferences. There is always a bet ongoing regarding how many dates the Hatake will have by the time he returns the next day. 

Tsunade went to one of Naru's parent teacher conferences --  It's ironically the same elementary school that Tsunade herself attended with Orochimaru and Jiraiya since Jiraiya stayed in his family home while the other two moved away.  Unfortunately, the principal remembered Tsunade. She remembered the blonde menace for that one time she had snuck toads into the classroom during recess (she was good at bullying Jiraiya and Jiraiya was good at catching toads) and had left them in the desks of all the girls that had been giving her a hard time for liking to spend all her time with boys (Jira and Oro). The screams once the students had returned and had toads leap on them had shaken the school.  Then there was the time the blonde nightmare had snuck in Orochimaru's new pet snake (without his permission or knowledge at that) and had gone around telling girls it was her new designer scarf. Suffice to say - no one was amused with her prank. Orochimaru had actually not talked to her for a week.  The principal remembered all these things -- that should have been bad enough right? But this is Tsunade we are talking about. And as her luck would have it --  While trying to act like a responsible adult...she notices the janitor and...recalls that the man is actually a suspect in one of her ongoing investigations - only they hadn't been able to find him - until now. She runs after him, tackles him, breaks furniture, swears up a storm that leaves parents, teachers and students traumatized and stumbles out of the school premises with a bleeding split lip, torn clothing, a limp and a murder suspect.  She wants to sue the school for endangering students. They want to sue her for property damage. Nagato swears he has white hair since that week. Tsuande says his hair is still blinding enough and tells him to get out of her office.  Suffice to say, Tsunade is never allowed to come back to Konoha Elementary School. .

It’s pretty clear this show has an agenda, is biased towards one character in particular at the expense of basically everyone else, and has a misogynoir problem.

Now to be clear, even though Emma is going along with what is being pushed, I think it’s inaccurate to blame any of the actors or actresses on this show for what is happening. Because at the end of the day it’s the show runners and the execs at HBO who are calling the shots. Emma is just a mascot for their agenda(take that as you will).

They more than likely purposely picked Emma because they wanted to make Rhaenyra into some feminist warrior queen who has a rainbow coalition of supporters against the conservative greens.

It’s corny, but with another character like say Rhaena the Black Bride(who’s already a lesbian) or even Visenya(who’s a warrior queen) it could work.

However the problem with choosing to make Rhaenyra into a revolutionary type figure/girl boss/feminist is that she’s the complete opposite of that.

Rhaenyra in canon is a racist to the point where she’s willing to use it to explain away murder, she mocks Laenor for being gay(says her half-brothers who are children are his type), looks down on and underestimates the small folk, and doesn’t even bother to help advance other women(Stokeworth and Rosby) in her class much less women like Nettles.

Her and Alicent have a completely different relationship dynamic in the books than in the show.

She’s selfish and self-focused. She’s malicious bordering on sadistic. She even puts her own children in danger for her own wants.

And before her followers go moaning she’s done too many things to claim that she’s been wrongly framed by the narrative. No sane person is chopping off heads and feeding it to dragons or trying to murder innocent women in their sleep. That’s not maester propaganda. She’s objectively awful.

She may be a woman, but she’s no better than her brother. Women can be just as awful as men(for Christ’s sakes look at real life not everyone is wrongly accused because of sexism). Rhaenyra shows that. Even at the last moments of her life she pretty much has zero remorse IMO.

For those reasons, I absolutely hate that the show is trying to redeem her. I hate how they cast Black actors to use them as human shields to make her look progressive, to lessen her atrocities, and even to make her something like her death look less atrocious.

Fans see Black people(the characters) supporting her vs. the mostly white greens they go that’s the progressive team(that ideology is so f*cked up). They even have Black fans supporting Rhaenyra because of all the Black secondary characters.

Never mind that these characters(who are race-bent) are being screwed over by the narrative, haven’t been presented in the best light, and have had their stories be rewritten to better serve Rhaenyra and make her look sympathetic/noble/just. The best who are treated way worse than their white book counterparts.

They added Ser Vaemond calling Rhaenyra a whore to justify Daemon killing him when in the books he rightfully calls her out and gets unjustly beheaded and feed to a dragon as a result on Rhaenyra’s orders. Then his sons and cousins get reprimanded by with some getting their tongues cut out, but that’s all been cut out.

Instead of showing that was loved or at least cared for by Daemon like in the books show Laena has been regulated to sorta second best(third best if you factor in the Viserys situation). She’s unloved and unwanted. Her suicide is made into a girlboss/empowering moment instead of being criticized for what it is away to make Rhaenyra’s death look better. Laena’s character is a walking stereotype(disposable Black girlfriend, look it up).

The audience eats it up of course and instead of calling out making her into a stereotype they are upset that the show did not make the non-canon throuple situation happen so they could get more brownie points for their I love Black people, I'm not a racist, I just don't want that Black person who isn't a plot device on the show act.

(I’m calling it non-canon cause you can’t only use the word fond to support a relationship, especially when you claim that word means nothing when it comes to Dettles which has more evidence than a single word).

Even Laenor has been made into a deadbeat dad. Corlys looks stupid. The girls have been given nothing to do. Addam’s whole purpose is to scarifice himself for Rhaenyra which is why they are highlighting him so much.

It’s absolutely disgusting.

I have no idea what they are going to do with Nettles, a character who doesn’t need to be race-bent cause she’s already Black, but based on their track record it could be terrible(I’m holding out hope though). She shouldn’t be treated like she’s just some whore or Daemon's mistress. She has her own plot, she’s loved by, and she’s one of the few survivors of the dance(and one of two dragonriders).

If the show was decent at all they’d do the right thing and show her as the multifaceted character she is and not regulate her into another stereotype(I guess they’d go the Jezebel route).

I totally get where you are coming from on the racism aspect. This is obviously lost by most though. Hell, most in the fandom are racist themselves, but skirt by because they like this show using the Black characters as human shields. It's a circus.

My full version of Cmedic aka Dr Rubén Pacifico Jabir Rodríguez

Some info on Cmedic:

His personality is a mix between Spy from Tf2, Aracade Gannon from FO:NV, and Augustus Sinclair Esquire from Bioshock 2 + that “smoking army doctor” stereotype. He’s 5’6, second shortest (the shortest is Fred, who’s 5’3) and 3rd youngest (the youngest is Greg aka CScout who was born in 1906 making him 24 by the events of tfc), and is by far the most sane out of them all.

He’s can be very sarcastic and pessimistic at times to the point it pisses people off. Cheavy has been “accidentally” used as his personal ashtray at times as well but Cmedic always makes it up to him. He also tends to stay away from alcohol when the tfc mercs ever went out to bars, mostly just dancing to take his mind of it.

He can be very nice but most of time he’s too tired or just doesn’t care enough to deal with anything more than picking up a few papers and smoking (his clinical depression makes this worse). Cheavy and CSniper or Virgil worry about him constantly, Cheavy as a romantic partner and Virgil as an older brother figure.

He came to New York City from Panama with his parents (His father is Honduran and his mother is Panamanian), who were doctors themselves but found it tough to keep jobs in the US. He ended up being a provider for his family, much like Scout, and is a lil momma’s boy and while he and his dad became strained (they still love each other).

Cheavy actually got to meet them for Christmas once and got so embarrassed around Cmedic’s mother he could barely stay in the same room as her (he is over a foot taller than her). No matter how many Cmedic explained to him that his mother actually thinks he’s quite a nice man; Cheavy worried she hated him. Cmedic gave up after that.

His story after tfc is.. convoluted. He and Cheavy ended up getting married but he had a sense that something was going to happen, so for nearly 8 after their marriage in the summer 1939, they were at peace, started growing old together. Until one day he got a call from the Administrator, who he knew from his work with Mann Co., and she forced his hand into up and leaving his life for her. He had rejected at first, leading to many near death experiences for Cheavy in the weeks after the call. Cmedic realized if he wanted to protect Cheavy; He had to leave him. So he divorced him, the whole thing coming as a blindside to Cheavy, and became the Administrator’s spy. He recruited Engineer to become a part of the group after the teams disbanded.

He’s also very gay, and I mean GAY. He doesn’t let people really know he is (for safety reasons) but the rest of the mercs but Cheavy (he realized two weeks later) clocked him as as gay guy

1. What made you ship it?

I’ve said it before in a million different ways, but it kind of boils down to me watching and WAITING for them to be canon. Every little interaction felt like a hint— Tenten being Neji’s personal trainer and hype man for the chunin exams, the two of them having so much alone time while Lee was on medical leave, Neji saving Tenten’s life in the fight against Kisame, the fact that they were the “sane” half of Team Gai and endured that together… honestly, especially because it was a Big Deal that Team Gai was older than everyone else, I fully expected for Shippuden to start with them being a Couple™️. Like they’d kind of pave the way for all the other romance plots. They’re older, so of course they’d get into romantic relationships first.

2. Favorite things?

The evidence is Right There. Like, trust me, I have ships that I have to REACH for— Nejiten is not one of those ships, despite not being in the foreground or being canon. Literally every time I rewatch any scene of theirs, a new detail stands out to me. “If you’re looking for a red car you’ll find a red car” okay, true, but the writers stuck Nejiten in a bright red car and put them in the background. They really had something going on from the EARLY days. Even just the way they talk about each other is so askdkskskdl.

Also, them being together would have been the perfect resolution to the Hyuga clan storyline— Neji being a free bird, choosing his own path including his own spouse, whomever he wants regardless of their lineage… and he’d pick Tenten a thousand times over, a girl with no clan or secret jutsu to speak of, a girl who has been there for him since the beginning, a girl who everyone else consistently overlooks… Neji’s power has always been in his eyes. Of course he wouldn’t overlook Tenten.

3. Unpopular opinion?

Re: my opinion that Lee and Gaara should have been rivals… Nejiten should have been rivals.

Maybe it’s more of a joke between them than anything else. There’s Gai and Kakashi, Lee obsessing over his (one-sided) rivalry with Gaara Thee Kazekage… I’m picturing Tenten getting sick of listening to Gai and Lee ramble on, like “would you two shove it, there are more important things in life than rivalries, can we please focus on training now” and Neji, ever the antagonist, is like “idk Tenten, it kind of sounds like you’re jealous that you don’t have a rival.” And she’d turn on him so fast like “oh are you offering?” And he’d get all snooty like “oh PLEASE, as if you could EVER be on my level.” And she’s like “we’ll see about that.”

Tenten’s arc could easily mirror Lee’s canon one (very “I know this goal is unattainable but that doesn’t mean I won’t get as close as I can”) and would give her and Neji more alone time to train etc., or at least leave room to expand upon what could have possibly occurred in their (canon implied) interactions.

Ninjago is weird af. It's a kids Lego show (The first and only one to properly take off, the ones that came after it were cheap knock-offs and were somehow even weirder. Example: Lego Chima, Nexo knights. Nexo was just ninjago but with knights, instead.) That, I'm fairly certain, is still running. The original director and creator of the show left really recently, though, and the shows being left in the hands of new people.

It's obviously a kids show, but like, it could make some serious bucks as an anime tbh. Before the reboot (They changed the animation style after the movie, to make it more consistant? Idk, I didn't like it because the movie wasn't really a ninjago movie. All the characters personalities were fucked up and the show changed to be more like that. Though, I'm biased and prefer the og for nostalgia purposes.) One of the characters had the lesbian eye slit (A guy, btw. He's absolutely gay), one of them was autism coded (I felt it was handled well. Obviously not the best, but well for a kids show.) One of them had anime hair that would've been hell to animate, and this one had almost all the trauma. There's another one with daddy issues who had a whole coming out thing (He was coming out as a ninja but it was very similar to a coming out to a Homophobie parent speech), and one of them is literally the trauma

The run down of the Characters is like:

Kai- The anime protagonist. Dead parents, used to be the main character. Angsty. Distrustful. Angry. Is supposed to represent bravery. He started raising his sister when he was, like, five years old. He used to be a blacksmith. He's the fire guy.

Nya- The sister. The damsel in distress until she isn't. Mechanical mastermind. She's a perfectionist, she's sassy, she's The Girl™ character that you expect from a kids cartoon. I won't spoil who she is.

Jay- One of his first lines was hitting on Kai's sister after she got captured. Literally "Is she hot?" to Kai's face. Kai, like a sane person, told him to back off. Jay is the writers favourite. He gets the girl. His biggest trouble is that he was raised in a junkyard by his parents. He's the lightening guy.

Cole- His mom died. His dad is trying to remake his glory days. He's buff, level headed, and loves cake. He's the defacto leader. He has a scythe as a weapon. He's the earth guy

Zane- Is a massive nerd. He's lovable and he's friendly. He doesn't know much about social cue but he tries his best. He's very awkward. He's different from the rest of the team, but they love him none the less. His whole character arc is learning to be who he is, not being like everyone else. He's a brilliant cook with a cool falcon friend. He's the ice guy

Wu- The in sighting incident for the team. The son of God. Is a really old man who made a child army and is presented as a good guy. The first time you meet him is through him insulting Kai, the main character.

Garmadon- The big bad, he's dramatic. He's theatrical. He's lowkey silly. He's a babygirl. Despite being absent, he wants to be a good dad to his son, but his son is destined to fight him and he doesn't want to make that harder than it needs to be.

Lloyd- A little shit of a child, he is a true menace. Imagine Maui as a child. He's adorable. His biggest crime is stealing candy (And also releasing war criminals, but he didn't mean to so it's ok xx)

Pythor- The sexiest snake villain to be brought into TV. I'm no furry/scaly, but they gave him the sexy/deep/sultry British voice. They intended for that to be the desired effect.

Skales- Pythor's spiritual wife. They're divorced and married and they hate each other and love each other. Later on Skales gets an actual wife and they made her pink and gave her boobs to prove she's a girl lmfao

My mom recommended me a book series saying the main character...hang on I don't remember it exactly. Was said to have aspergers (not my favorite word but I'm referencing the author) as author's word of god? or is it that everyone just picks up on that when reading? whatever it is specifically, the character is at least very easily read as autistic. I haven't read the series myself yet, but I'm very curious to pick it up!

Prophet AU: Team Nightmare

So for Prophet AU, I'm making it so Team Dark and Team Hooligan work together. This large team will be known as Team Nightmare.

The dynamics were made up by conversations with my brother and @im-just-a-dumb-gay , basically for starters. Rouge is 18, and she really is into thinking fang has a crush on Shadow. Shadow doesn't care and just moves on but Fang just insists on not liking him. Rouge really just sees the two as her fathers.

And btw, Rouge is the leader of the whole team. And Shadow/Fang are like 30. Shadow is Agender.

Omega is the arsonist, and he mostly brings the chaos outta Bean. The two are little crack uncles. Omega supports Rouge and her dumb foolery. He's basically the hype man.

Omega does enjoy Blaze's company. He really likes the flamey ponytail. ^ ^

Bean essentially keeps everyone sane, and he makes sure no one is sad without comfort. He mainly focuses on Bark and Shadow since Bark has anhedonia and Shadow....well Maria and stuff.

Bean is around 23. And Bark is around 40.

Yesterday, I allowed myself a break to play some visual novel games I have had on my list for ages (DRAMAtical Murder (Japanese yaoi) and Ladykiller in a Bind (Canadian lesbeans) for Important Research Purposes. I did one playthrough of each (one route, Koujaku's and Beauty's), each taking about five hours. There is absolutely no reason to compare them or pit them against each other BUT I'M GONNA just because I happened to play them both yesterday >:D

Important to note that I enjoyed them both very much! Idk what I'm gonna write yet but any criticism I dish out does not undermine that. Congratualations to the developers for making good games!

Here be spoilers...

Humour:

Both games looked pretty smutty going in so I was expecting some sexiness but was surprised by how many times they both made me laugh out loud! The characters in DMMD are so funny when they need to be and I loved the banter between the Beast (PC) and her twin brother in LiaB.

I really loved them both but the humour in LiaB was a little bit more to my taste because of more characters being comfortable with their sexuality and having some really funny banter about being gay. I'm not really into yaoi so there may have been yaoi humour that went over my head in DMMD but both games had some lovely pop culture references. I think that the DMMD localization team did a wonderful job ("STOP RIGHT THERE CRIMINAL SCUM")!

Sexy Times:

I expected DMMD to be waaaaay smuttier than it was, based on how it was advertised and CGs I have seen in the wild. In contrast, LiaB had A LOT of sex content but I feel like the characters in DMMD had better chemistry. Other than that comparison, I want to talk about the sex scenes in each game seperately...

In LiaB, everyone is horny for the PC. Well, most people are... just SO HORNY. And for each other too. This aspect took me out of it a bit... Like, I would like to see relationships grow and develop a bit more before everyone starts making out, especially since I started to dislike some of the characters. Maybe it's because I'm demisexual but I found it hard to relate to the PC being AS horny as she is for everyone all the time.

Like, I was interested in the Photographer but saw her be really rude to the staff and was completely put off. Then, there was a scene where I had the option to cruelly brush her off, kiss her or a third more neutral option (or so I thought) but you STILL end up making out and I was just goin, "No no no! Ew!" like a grossed out toddler. Should have coldly told her to fuck off. This is probably not the game's fault because this has happened to me before in other games where I have picked what I thought was a neutral or platonic option and ended up making out with someone XD

Then there's the kink stuff! I completed Beauty's route so I saw a lot of kinky fuckery! :D I do appreciate that this game took the time to really explore a more healthy side of BDSM. A lot of visual novels tend to flirt with BDSM through explicitly non-con content and, the more I have bonded with the characters, the more it squicks me out, so it was really refreshing to see safe, sane and consensual BDSM practices being explored in sexy way! Aftercare is very sexy and romantic! Carefully exploring someone's body and turn ons is really hot! Generally, it was very good.

There were a few moments which made me uncomfortable though (during the Beauty's route). At the beginning, Beauty gives the Beast (PC) a "safe word" but you are never given the opportunity to use it, Beast even bragging to her brother at the start of the story that she never used her safe word.

The sex scenes are very immersive and interactive, which is cool, but there were a few moments where I would have used the safe word if I had had the choice. For example, Beauty tells Beast to shave off her body hair. This made me really uncomfortable. It was only the second scene or something and it felt like crossing a boundary. However, there was a dialogue option where you refused by suggesting it was anti-feminist. So, I tried that and the Beauty gives you some patronising line about how you're just using feminism as a shield to hide your embarassment and slaps Beast, who humbly shaves herself. I couldn't enjoy the rest of that scene, unfortunately.

So, the amount of interactivity is a double edged sword! Being immersed is great but can backfire if suddenly something potentially triggering happens and you can't stop it. Just something to consider. Don't give me the option to protest if the game's just going to dismiss it and call me a bad feminist.

There were six sex scenes with The Beauty but I would have preferred fewer but more options, so it felt like Beast was having some input in how each scene went, rather than everything Beauty did just magically and surprisingly turning Beast on just so much. That's just my preference though. Generally, I think it was done really well but the sex scenes weren't my favourite part of the game, even though they took up a lot of it (the humour was my favourite part).

NOW, DRAMAtical Murder! Speaking of popular visual novels with explicit non-con X_X ... Yeah... One of the main love interests is introduced as he orders his men to gang rape the PC while he sits and watches. O_O This is in the common route near the beginning so it's unavoidable. Fortunately, the PC escapes in the nick of time (after being stripped :( ).

Now, I am not here to evaluate morality or condemn games for exploring controversial topics, just explain how things make me FEEL. This made me feel really ANGRY but at that character (not the developers), which is a good thing, I think! I want to feel strong emotions as I play games! However, I will probably not be playing his route! Fuck that guy. Apparently, if you choose his route, he rapes the PC repeatedly so... ya... I haven't played that route, though, so let's move on from that!

I played Koujaku's route and there is some non-con licking and groping while he's in the grip of some sort of tattoo-induced animalistic rage XD which sure is a sentence to rival The Demon Arms of Horniness (also, Koujaku is Aoba's (PC) childhood friend but his route is done waaaay better than Iba's in Hakuoki imo).

To be honest, I'm still kind of confused about how I feel about that scene. When he first pinned Aoba down, I was like... uwu but then when Aoba starts to say no (and you know he means in because you're in his head), I did start to feel a bit ill.

The rest of the sex scenes were lovely and wholesome, though XD The voice acting is really good and there wasn't too much giggling from me at awkward slorping sounds (definitely some though, I am only human) Can't speak to the other routes, though. Or bad endings but I have seen pictures and HOLY FUCKING SHIT XD. Ngl, I LOVE a really harrowing bad ending but what I love even MORE is when you're too in love with the characters to go through the ordeal of watching them suffer in a bad ending, which is how I felt.

Characters:

I either fell in love with or wanted to strangle every character in DMMD within a few lines of their dialogue. They were all so well written omg! I genuinely cried when I thought Granny might die because I love her so much. Like I said, I thought that this game was going to be way smuttier than it was and I was impressed by how much love was put into all the non-fuckable characters, old and young. It made the world (and Aoba's life) feel so real and precious. Obsessed. TEACH ME YOUR WAYS.

I didn't bond with the LiaB characters as much, except for the Beauty who also made me cry. Love her <3 and her relationship with Beast is pretty compelling. Most of the characters are assholes, which I am normally on board with, but they often felt a bit one note. I did really enjoy Beast's asshole brother. I actually liked him more than her, but I feel like we have more in common so maybe I am biased.

I got tired of The Slut's "I am a massive slut" routine pretty quickly, quickly got annoyed by The Lieutenant and President's bullshit, hated watching The Photographer be rude to The Boss (or maid but idk why because she literally never does anything a maid would do) and... idk... who else was there? I am 26 so it's probably surprising that one of my favourite characters in LiaB was The Boss. I enjoyed her video game references, great hair, air of authority, unflappability, fashion and endless patience for dickhead rich kids. Maybe part of the reason I didn't bond with these characters as much as the DMMD ones is that it's high school characters and I really don't like anything set in a high school. This was better because it was set on a cruise ship but still... I guess I'm just too oooooooold...

It's interesting that, in both games, the non-romanceable characters were some of my favourites and I appreciate them both for making those characters so compelling. I just think that DMMD's characters were better fleshed out and well written. LiaB was still quite well written, I think, but I just couldn't relate to a lot of the characters.

Art (my beloved):

I hate to say this but I don't like the LiaB art style. I think that it's better in the CGs than the sprites, especially when a character is in profile. I enjoyed all of the characters' different outfits, though! Like, I hated a lot of the outfits (STALKER) but I loved that the characters had different outfits for different days and saying that I hated some of the fashion choices is not a criticism of the art. It's perfectly fine for characters to wear things I consider ugly af, just like in real life. Anyway, there was lots to enjoy but, yeah, not an art style for me. I'm not going to go into too much detail though because it would probably end up being mean, knowing me X_X and I am sure plenty of people will despise my art style!

DMMD's artstyle was so gooooood! I loved the detail in the backgrounds! I loved the stupid Jerry Blain logo on Aoba's jacket! I love the huge smiley face 69 sign in the shop, I love the beautiful characters and cute, cute animals! BUT... we need to talk about the fashion. Wtf is Noiz wearing??? And the two creepy Yakuza "not twins". I actually did enjoy the weird fashion but how am I supposed to take Noiz's route seriously while he's wearing that stupid bobble hat??? But yeah, the art was lovely!

Of course, nothing is perfect but I was really impressed by all the cool stuff in the game, like the Rhyme battle and little pixelart sequences. There's a bit where you see Clear pummeling some brainwashed gangsters and it turns into a comic. Loved that. I also love how the game pans over the CGs as the dialogue progresses or fips back and forth between a CG and the standard backgrounds as the text calls for it. They really impressed me, ngl.

Gameplay:

DMMD's gameplay was pretty minimal compared to LiaB's. I was basically just along for the ride in DMMD, rather than having to make any important decisions, which is fine but not as intriguing.

In LiaB, you have to avoid suspicion with dialogue choices (you're pretending to be your brother), win votes and try and romance whoever, so there's more for a player to think about. It's pretty fun! There are a lot of dialogue choices, which is really nice! I definitely picked some nice options even though they offered not tangible benefit but raised my suspicion level, which is a sign that I was pretty immersed in the story.

I am glad that the game with the votes was in there at the beginning because it gave me some direction but I had other priorities by the end of the game (which is a good thing).

I like that it tells you what you're likely to get from each dialogue option. The UI is good! Well, I still don't know what some of the UI elements actually mean but it can't be that important! It took me waaaaay too long to work out that a dialogue option will fade right before it disappears for good but that's actually very helpful.

I didn't mention that the dialogue options are in the middle of conversation. Often, the conversation will just continue without you if you don't click anything and new options will appear! This is pretty neat! And there are still consequences if you just stay suspiciously silent, so that still kind of counts as a choice!

Conclusion:

Them's me thoughts! Both very fun and interesting games which made me cry (win)! Both very witty and sexy! Both played by me yesterday! Both (DMMD announcer voice) QUEEEEEER (yay)!

i have a crush on a celebrity. and it feels so good.

i'm not gonna name him in hopes that i one day meet him because i don't want him to track me down on this decomposing website. i'm not an advocate for parasocial relationships, just like how i'm not an advocate for depression. it does, however, happen to me so many times. one time, i dreamed about having a weird, time altering threesome with two male celebrities with every thrust leading me to a different point in time. another time, i went through the grieving process after i saw my celebrity crush dancing with a woman at a club with her hands around her hips.

i think part of what intrigues me most about celebrity crushes is that delicious distance between you and him. it allows your imagination to run miles and miles and miles away from reality, hoping one day you'll meet it. this time around it's different though. he's younger than me, which is quite outside my field-house of liking senior after senior (senior as is high school, because people couldn't tell when i explained this last time). it's also weird because he has more muscular arms than me. 

how i wish i had big arms. i don't even care about a big wingspan even though i do, in fact, care a lot. if i get big, muscular-toned-whatever-gym-buzzword arms by the end of march, i'll be set for life. 

i never really took a liking to him until the beginning if february. it was part of the whole "insecure about my masculinity" era that i wrote about last time. i remember heading to church listening to "incredible world" by kilo kish in my muffled airpods as i dreamed about a show starring me. it talked about toxic masculinity in that fleabag-donald-glover-tv-show-amazon-original fashion, following me trying to become traditionally masculine with the help of a straight guy who would eventually fall in love with me. i couldn't think of an actor my age that could perfectly play the character, so i chose him. allison williams is in it, too. she plays a laid-back xanax'd english teacher.

ever since then, the daydream just spiralled out like an invasive weed. it started with a sentimental scenario of us in my trailer at midnight listening to "eva" by yeule, hugging, and us crying in each other's arms. it then transitioned to interviews, us chuckling at each other's answers knowing that our teams have already picked out what to say. it didn't get to this point until i sent him a message on Instagram. from there, any romantic and platonic scenario played out.

me and him in toronto, me and him london, me and him in new york, in hotel rooms, in bedrooms, on facetime and and on call. us breaking the law, us holding hands, us kissing, us making out, us hugging. i'm not sure how a sexual daydream would work if he's younger than me and i'm too scared to top, so i avoid it.  i'm pretty aware that most of this is disgusting to anyone sane reading this, but i don't care. i even made a playlist; not for him but for this era. i would link it, but it's too corny.

i know thus is a result of stress and the fact that i'm not over t-shirt, considering they share similar features and personality. it's the same gay feeling that occupies the space of "i want to be you" and "i want to be with you"; homoerotic jealousy, if you will. but i could be wrong. maybe i'm just delusional

Eir (Celebi) - She's the Bisexual Icon, I mean, she's got two hands and neither Seker (Dusknoir) and Silvanus (Grovyle) are taking them. - No offense to her, of course. - Silvanus' impulse control and emotional support for his long standing depression and reckless/suicidal tendencies. - And Seker's support for getting them back on their feet - Mother Hen - IS NOT actually interconnected with Nabu (Dialga), and is constantly correcting those who think that way. - Tea Collection, her private quarters in the Hall of Origin is quite literally half Tea-Shop half her actual quarters. - Is the reason Silvanus is an avid tea drinker. - Is also the one who called Osiris (Darkrai) out on their bullshit, not believing Silvanus was dead when they originally tried to torment them into despair

Seker (Dusknoir) - Ran away from his guilt for the following months after Special Episode 5 and after the three of them defeated Primal Dialga - Named his Sableye after literary/media Tricksters and Thieves - "Irene, Eris, Loki, Raven, Gambit, Fillibus, Flynn and Kasumi" - Asexual, He's curious on the romance but only views Eir as a friend and.. doesn't know if Silvanus can ever forgive him - Didn't actually want to kill Silvanus fully, only wanted to make him weak enough to fight back - Guilt-ridden when he attempted to go out with this (Special Episode 5) and got struck with Silvanus being the most gentle, but smartass of a Grovyle out there despite their serious-somehow well mannered nature - Needs nigh constant validation at times because of his guilt - Oddly Sentimental over time given Eir and Silvanus' opinions of him.

Silvanus (Grovyle) - Gay as hell - Eir is quite literally the only reason he stayed sane while in the dark future when he was a young Grovyle, after he lost his only friend (Lendys) - Lendys, as a side, wasn't ever human, humans don't exist in this timeline at all, and was a Charizard - Was only 24 when Silvanus began his mission in the past, and was already pushing his depression and suicidal thoughts/tendencies to the side when his mission had started, alone. - Osiris (Darkrai) successfully manipulated him into believe Eir and Seker were dead - Is the in universe creator of many of the songs in Explorers of Sky, specifically (Through the Sea of Time, In the Morning Sun, and DIalga's Fight to the FInish) - Used Music and Singing as his main coping mechanism through the trauma and the pain - Suffers with Relapses of Nabu (Dialga's) Roar of Time being used that much during the past and the present fights against Dialga and Primal Dialga - Ended up working closely with Arceus and Dialga to ensure safety and stability of other timelines, eventually putting him through many adventures and calamity-saves, and eventually becoming Nabu's Champion - Because of his constant in and out through the Hall of Origin, Silvanus has his own private living quarters in the Hall as well, it is his safe space, whether he's having a relapse or just needs time to himself to relax. - 38 when he reunited with Eir and Seker - Eir smothers him with validation and helping him find more healthy coping mechanisms, getting him into tea and becoming more inclined to come out about his insecurities - Seker crafts him little intricate gifts, and Silvanus reminds Seker that he's forgiven about the past - Silvanus is VERY VERY scarred up, mentioned in this post here - He still usually puts others first before himself, and is still tirelessly reckless despite everything he's gone through, you'd think he's learned to be smart about this - Despite this, when he eventually teams up with Eir and Seker, he's the team's fighter and strategist, though Seker usually helps him on the strategy, and.. they both have to run it by Eir in the end.

so. inception of this was i was watching matilda and was like "she's literally just a mutant. she has a mutation. because she's a mutant" and then spiralled for abt 32 seconds and then floated to the back of my brain as Accepted Canon.

general plot idea (plot bunny free to good home) is that the whole movie of Matilda happens, right? roll credits. post credits scene: magneto and prof x* show up and r like "that kid is a mutant in a weird little gap in custody" and bc magneto is Like That hes like "we shall take the child by force so she doesnt grow up alone :)" (he sees no issue with this)

but ofc miss honey is like "????? wtf go home homos???" (she is also gay, more on this later) bc she loves matilda!! thats her little guy!!! she JUST got her from the -pound- shitty home situation!!! besides these guys are suspicious as FUCK (telepath who has been making weird middle-distance stares while he talks to his bf in his head and a guy with a fucking purple cape in broad daylight)!!! she says, firmly, "no go fuck urselves"

so they go to school. this is 1993, meaning most of the OG X-men are young adults starting to become a team/take on missions/etc. key point: im going with a rough approximation of canon and make the characters whatever age i fucking feel like. so scott summers is around matilda's age and his dad/older brother(undecided, canon iffy), alex summers is around miss honey's age (for the parallels!!) at your suggestion, storm will be a young adult gay as fuck w miss honey (homophobia toggled false for this universe bc i dont feel like it). wolverine will be wolverine age (i will be fucking with canon so he can be at this party). jean gray will be sane. etc.

and uhhhhh everyone is gay and matilda will save a us politician of my choosing from slaughter bc the blood would scare her new friend scott but will then lock this man in his head so detrimentally and permanently that charles xavier gives her a pat on the back and a candied orange peel.
