#shepard's pie

I made my version of Shepard's pie with the leftovers that I had in the fridge. It's usually made with lamb, but I had leftover hamburger meat so I used that. I sautéed onions, mushrooms, garlic, carrots, and green peppers. Then I added the hamburger meat. I seasoned it with basil, garlic powder, salt, pepper, a little oregano, and parsley. I then made a lot of mashed potatoes. I put the meat mixture on the bottom of a large, glass, baking dish, and I put the potatoes on top of that. I added butter pats and sprinkled paprika on top. Then I baked it. I made gravy, too. It was delicious 😋 😍 I used up my leftovers and had a delightful dinner. Now, I have to go food shopping. 😁🤣😍

Lonelyeyes headcanon: Elias won’t tell Peter what he wants for dinner but instead slips appetizing images of the dish he’s craving into Peter’s mind… so Peter will crave it and suggest it to Elias.

Also it circumvents Peter starting arguments over food, just to mess with Elias.
