Walking the city together had become the best part.

okay okay okay okay look at this one, y’all!!! I can’t tell you how long I spent drawing Big Ben and Parliament only to end up blurring them in the fog. Haha. But sometimes that’s how it goes. 

I really had to take a minute to figure out what I wanted to do with this one for November, but the idea of Sherlock and Molly walking across the Westminster Bridge going home from the theater.

(it was only after I was done did I remember that Baker St is on the other side of the river, but you know, details....)

I had the idea of you (or maybe this could be done with a poll) making an 'All Time Greatest' list. The number of sherlolly stories coming out is fairly low now, so most of the 'best ever' stories have probably already come out.

I'm About To Hit TWO Fic Milestones On AO3!

So I'm going to put up some polls with some prompts in a bit, but my fic enabler @strangelock221b has been sending me tons and tons of prompts over the years, and I'm going to pick some for the three ships I plan on writing (Khanolly, McMolly and Sherlolly) and have three separate polls to pick four Khanolly prompts, four McMolly prompts and two Sherlolly prompts to hit 1,400 Sherlock fics and 300 Star Trek AOS fics on AO3. So keep an eye out tonight and I'll link them to this post!

Mr Folio watches Sherlock

My husband and I are watching/rewatching “Sherlock” together.  My love of the show wasn’t a secret or anything, but it was never one of our “watch together” shows, he’d just be aware it was on in the background.  But now we’re actually going through it and he’s a fan!

-Adlock shipper.  Technically when I asked him what he ships he said basically Irene/really any of the women because he has that delightful straight male admiration of extremely attractive lesbians but when I polled him on *popular* ships that was by far his favorite. 

-Did sort of pick up on Sherlolly without prompting, though.  Asked in the middle of ASIB, “Do those two ever get together?”

-”John’s kind of a dick to everybody, huh?”

-We’re up to “The Empty Hearse” and when John shouted “I’m not gay” he shouted “Canons sink ships!” in a reference to a twitter joke making the rounds which he asked me to explain to him a few days ago (he’s never been into fanfic at all).  He was very pleased with this joke.

-Like me, thinks that Mycroft is sketchy as hell.  

-Thinks the show is basically a comedy and is aback at how seriously people take it.
