“Same here. I do a wish in mind, but… perhaps it is best if it stays ungranted.”

“…is it for the world to forget your sins?”

“Yes. But such a wish would never erase the fact that I still did what I did, doesn’t it?”

Amaterasu shook her head.

Zero cleared its nonexistent throat.

“As for how I got here? Well…”

Zero’s demeanor became serious and somber.

“You probably know the story. Or not, as you acted like a mindless creature from what I’ve heard, but it all started when I attacked Popstar. I will spare you the details, but Kirby defeated me not long after.”

“As much as I still hate the connotations such a term has, I am still a god. As such, I cannot truly die. I simply reformed my avatar. But since I was recently killed, I can only appear as a small bundle of smoke.”

“I was about to leave to recover, but then Meta Knight found me and sealed me away within an artificial void where it projects an imitation of my desired world at the time: a world where nothing exists but me. No planets, no walls, no gravity… nothing.”

“I decided, no matter. I could rebuild my power in this false paradise so I could destroy this mockery and this planet, then kill that pink thing this time.”

Zero sighed, shaking its head.

“As you can tell… I ultimately did not do such thing, considering that Kirby returned to my life long after and changed my ways.”

“That false world Meta Knight created… serves as my current home. I like to draw things and play the violin, and just generally lounge around when I’m too lazy to watch over from afar. My friends visit through a hole in the seal—on that exact spot I was sealed in that day.”

“Let me guess, all your things are just floating around in that void, isn’t it?”

Zero looks away, embarrassed.

“…Y-Yes.”

Hi Quan! How did you come up with Sir Uther's design and personality, and what's Mordred's role in all of this?

I already talked about his design and personality without any spoilers, so let's move onto MOORDYYY

I STILL NEED TO FINISH HIS DESIGN- WJGWNAJX

Anyway, Mordred's role has always been to betray Uther. He also plays the straightman to his antics!

As for HOW he does it....well that's definitely spoiler territory~
