“I don't think I've had a bath since I was a kid,” Don said as he lowered himself into the water.  Loki watched with his eyes half closed until Don was submerged up to his chest.  “That's because your bathtub is only suitable for children,” he said, letting his eyes fall closed. 

The bathroom of the presidential suite wasn't as grand as those here in Asgard, but it was far better than the one at Don's house. The more time Loki spent there, the more he noticed how many aspects of the home were in dire need of an upgrade. He didn’t understand how the man was content to live with such shabby surroundings. He heard Don chuckle and then sigh. “It's not like I have a lot of time to be lounging around anyway.” His voice was quiet, as if the heat of the bath was already working its magic. Loki opened his eyes.  Don mirrored Loki, reclining against the far end of the bathtub with his arms resting on the sides. It was deep enough that even though Don bent his knees, they were still fully submerged. Loki had his own legs stretched out, forcing Don to put his feet on either side of Loki’s so that their ankles touched. Don had his eyes closed and his head tipped back. The warmth of the water had brought a pink tinge to his skin that was creeping up from where the water lapped against his chest. Don sighed again, looking completely relaxed, his expression softened like it always was when he'd just woken up.  Loki couldn't resist the temptation. He lifted one foot and dragged the outside of his ankle along the inside of Don's calf. As he slid it back down, he watched Don crack one eye open. Loki held his gaze as he did it again, going up to the inside of Don’s knee.  Loki lowered his foot to the bottom of the bathtub and Don shifted slightly but didn’t draw his legs away.  “I thought you wanted to relax,” he said, looking more amused than surprised.  “I did,” Loki replied and lifted his foot again. He paused there, not touching Don yet, only watching Don’s gaze drop as he swallowed. Then Loki put his foot back down.  Don looked up, saw Loki’s expression, and shook his head with a soft laugh. Loki’s smirk grew. Don had figured out the game.  Don shifted again, sinking a little lower into the water and leaning his head back. When he closed his eyes, he was smiling. “We have different ideas about relaxing,” he said.  Loki let the anticipation build as he watched Don breathe in and out, then trailed his foot up that same path, going a little further past Don’s knee this time.  “I find this very relaxing,” Loki said, repeating the motion. He watched Don grip the sides of the bathtub to hold himself still.  “Of course you do,” Don muttered, but there was humor in his voice.  Loki continued to tease with slow brushes of his foot along Don’s skin, working his way closer and closer to Don’s crotch, his gaze on Don’s face the whole time. He could tell when Don shifted from simply attempting to hold still, to resisting the urge to touch himself. Loki continued until Don’s hands were trembling where they held onto the bathtub.  Only then did Loki pull his foot back completely and sit up, causing the water to slosh against them both. Don opened his eyes, looking confused at first and then relieved when he saw Loki closing in on him. Don reached out as Loki settled in between his legs, tilting his face up for a kiss. “Had enough relaxing?” Don asked against Loki’s lips.  “Simply changing the method,” Loki replied with a grin, and then set about helping Don release all that delicious tension he'd built up.

This is my LOTR Self Insert, who I used Crusader Kings 3’s character creator to make while I was playing the LOTR: Realms in Exile mod. Her name is Aeroniel and she’s Boromir’s wife (this is an AU where Boromir doesn’t die because I don’t wanna have to deal with that pain 😭). She’s the only self insert of me that doesn’t share my name, because I didn’t feel like Mari/Marisa really fit into Middle Earth. I found a website that translates name meanings into Elvish, and Aeroniel means ‘of the sea’ just like Marisa does!

A/N Hii! This is my first time posting on tumblr and first time writing something for Jinx. It’s been a LONG time since I’ve written anything so I hope it’s not too bad. Hope you guys are alright and you enjoy my little story <3

Summary: A week after the battle, you and Jinx fly away on an airship to have a new beginning.

It had been about a week since the two of you had left Piltover and Zaun, a week since the final battle. The two of you were on an airship to find new lands, a new future away from the past that would forever haunt you.

You had been asleep in the airship when it rocked, causing you to stir. It happened often so that many nights you wouldn’t be able to sleep all the way through. You reached over to wrap your arm around your partner only to find warm sheets left behind. As you tried to calm the panic and worry that was threatening to rise, you stood up from the bed and grabbed a torn coat, throwing it over your shoulders.

The air was cold in the night sky, the breeze blowing onto your face as you stepped up on deck. A wave of relief washes over you as you catch sight of the woman you had fallen in love with leaning against the railings at the front of the ship. You quietly padded over to her and gently placed a hand on her shoulder so as not to startle her.

“Couldn’t sleep?” You murmured, a soft smile pulling at your lips.

Jinx gave a look of surprise before her face relaxed at the knowledge of who it was. She shook her head before turning to look down ahead of the airship, a foreign city before them. Her brow was knitted together and her cracked lips were pressed together in a thin line.

Sensing that something was on her mind, you rested your head on her shoulder, snaking your arm around the other woman’s. You looked down at the city, lights shining from windows that dotted the land that somehow mirrored the way the stars sparkled in the night sky.

“It’s a beautiful night,” you said, hoping to ease the tension. But Jinx said nothing, the woman falling into a familiar silence to protect herself from getting too close. Yet somehow you always knew the right moment to break through or to just let the silence pass.

“We’re gonna be okay, you know that?” You pulled away and gently tilted Jinx’s chin so that she was looking at you. Those gorgeous pink eyes bored into you and you had to take a moment to remember what you were saying. “We’re leaving it all behind. We’re starting again and we’ll be okay.”

“You don’t know that.” Her voice was hoarse but defiant as if she were sure that everything would go wrong, just like it did countless times before.

“We’ll make it different. I’m with you this time, Jinx, let me help you this time.”

One of your hands intertwined Jinx’s fingers, your other cupping her cheek as the two of you gazed at each other’s faces in the dark. A clear tear, one without shimmer, had slipped from one of her eyes and your thumb caught it, brushing it away. You could see how her lower lip trembled and your heart ached, wishing that you could take all her pain away. Ever since Isha had passed, Jinx had become so uncharacteristically quiet and it confused the both of you but your commitment to her had never once faltered.

“I’m here and I’m not leaving. You push me away and I’ll push harder. You try and leave me and I’ll do whatever I can to find you again. I’m like… some annoying pest, something you can’t get rid off.”

“You’re not a pest.”

You nudged Jinx’s shoulder lightly, trying to coax a smile no matter how big or small. A light chuckle escaped Jinx’s throat and her lips curved upwards slightly so you took it as a win, although the pain in her eyes was still visible. The past would never leave Jinx and you knew it but you also knew that the future was still undecided. But for now, they were in the present and what you had now was enough.

The two of you were perfectly content with being in each other’s presence so you both turned to lean against the railing to look either up at the starry sky or down at the vast lands when loud banging and crackling sounds suddenly started. You both tensed, Jinx immediately wrapping an arm around your waist to pull you in close. You grabbed the nearest object to you that you could use as a weapon and it was… a mop? You shook your head, it would have to do.

But before either of you could react further, the sky lit your faces in coloured lights. The two of you stood in awe as the brightly coloured lights flashed and crackled in the sky and reflected off your faces.

“Oh,” Jinx murmured, her body relaxing at the realisation that there was no threat. “Just fireworks.”

But then it hit you. There were fireworks because it was the New Year. How did either of you forget?

“It’s New Years.”

“Oh…”

The two of you fell silent once more as you watched fireworks, your head resting back on Jinx’s shoulder. Jinx turned her face and pressed a kiss to the top of your head, her arm wrapping around you. You looked up, giving her her a small smile.

“What’re you looking at me like that for?”

“It’s New Years…”

“And?”

And?…

“You know what happens at midnight.”

Jinx let out a playful huff as she pretended to be annoyed. “Fine, I’ll give you a kiss.”

“You act like you hate it.”

“I don’t.”

“I know.”

And with that you reached your hands up to cup Jinx’s face as you felt her hands resting on the small of your back. Your noses brushed against each other and your breaths mingled before pressing your lips against the other woman’s. It was a soft kiss, the movements slow and tender as you pulled each other close to find comfort in each other’s warmth.

It was the New Year. Leaving things behind had always been hard but now it was time to let go of the past and to change the future. It was time to be free.

what are your thoughts about what order they’ll go in for the kentakim kimkenta ship after the trailer? i still think there’s really no indication which way it’ll go and that they’ll likely be switches or simply not show enough to tell and let the audience sort of decide.

i know they used the BG tag in boys journey but like you said before, they hadn’t decided on the order very late into filming PitBabe 2, and I’m pretty sure boys journey was already out by then so by the time of boys journey, they still hadn’t decided on an order.

Obviously people can and will refer to the ship however they feel like, but it does seem like the official tag moving forward is KimKenta/คิมเคนตะ.

In the TimKon datemates jaykon soulmates WIP, is there going to be actual JayKon interaction at some point, or is the Jayson/Match smut the fic? I will definitely enjoy it either way, but I‘ll have more fun if I‘m not distracted by (the possibility of) future plot.

Answer to this question behind the cut for anyone who doesn't wanna know even vague, not-necessarily-set-in-stone spoilers ( 'cuz I'm gonna try not to get TOO specific but I know I personally hate getting even vague spoilers, hah, legit I don't even watch TRAILERS most of the time ):

Full disclosure, in the current outline Kon literally does not even appear on-screen and I am NOT one hundred percent sure he will??

I am . . . NINETY percent sure we're gonna have just a brief bit of Jason/Match smut here, but that is not actually the end of the fic, there's at least one scene after that that's gonna be a decent-length chunk, and possibly another short lil' scene after that, which is where Kon WOULD come in if I add it; prior to that there probably isn't gonna be room for him.

In the current outline ( which admittedly has some "????" chunks in it and only MAYBE has an ending, not sure if the ending I've got in mind is an actual ending or more a transition to that potential add-on scene ) the relationship tags would probably be "Jason/Match" ( because, like, literal on-screen sexual activity ), "one-sided Jason/Kon" ( because Jason is disgustedly drowning in his soulcrush rn and Kon hates his ass for literally everything he has ever done even in Tim's general DIRECTION ), "Tim/Kon" ( because, like, the entire inciting incident/setup/complication of this fic is the fact that they are actively dating and all about each other, hah ), but I'm still undecided as to whether or not that "one-sided" caveat is gonna end up sticking around or if any additional ship tags might come into play.

Basically the tags are a little nebulous right now because some of my original plans for the fic got reoriented when I got waaaaay more into Match as a character than I was when I first came up with it; originally there was NOT gonna be this much focus on this part of the story, it was more the next scene as the main thing--like, one-third this, two-thirds that, essentially. But now they're more half-and-half, with the possibility of a bonus lil' bit getting popped on at the end.

So uh . . . not sure how helpful an answer that actually is, hah, sorry, but CURRENTLY there is not a ton of time left in this scene and we'll be transitioning to the back half of the fic after the rooftop scene wraps up, and IF Kon shows up, it will not be for a MINUTE.

Event Announcement!

Three Weeks of Trioholders is an event in dedicated to shipping the first three One for All holders in fics and art, hosted by yours truly. I commissioned the lovely announcement art from @poysean5. This event will run from Monday October 30 to Sunday November 19 2023!

Rules:

I will be accepting not only Trioholders (Yoichi/Second/Third) but also Duoholders (Yoichi/Second aka Ichinii), Yoichi/Third, and Second/Third. Basically, if your fic or art romantically ships the first, second, and third One for All holders in any combination/pairing, then it counts. I just picked the event name to be alliterative.

There will be both an art and writing category.

You may submit as many entries as you’d like. However, you will only be eligible to win once in each category.

The minimum word count for a fic is 1,000 words. Drawings must be colored.

AI (artificial intelligence) art or writing is NOT allowed.

I will be accepting any degree of heat for the romance, from mild crushing to NSFW.

The romance does not have to be the sole focus—for example, if you wrote a crack fic about the vestiges with a side of romance then that would be accepted. At the least, two of the first three One for All holders should be main characters.

Collaborations are allowed, though you can only win one prize for the group.

I’m not picky about time zones so I will count anything submitted until it is no longer Sunday November 19th anywhere in the world (GMT-12 is the last time zone.)

Prizes:

How does Harumi meet Killow and Ultra Violet? Why do they want to resurrect Garmadon? <- It's spoilers for how they meet, but Ultra Violet has personal reasons for getting entangled in Elemental business (as her mom was the previous EM of Shadow before Shade + her father was the EM of Surprise before Jesse and she got NONE of those powers mannnn), but I'm still workshopping Killow. Killow might end up being UV's cousin honestly (cuz of the 'Descendants of Shadow getting that shade of skin color' thing), and their reasons for resurrecting Garmadon are because Harumi sways them on Garmadon's philosophy from Season 2 still being 'correct', even if he was ultimately defeated for it in the end. But with bringing him back, they plan to do things 'right' this time (...in a sense. we're missing several seasons of context inbetween here lmao)

Does Lloyd look after Fang when Harumi dies, or is Fang already dead by then (idk how long a fictional spider would live lol) <- Given that Fang is a male tarantula, they don't live as long as females would (probably why he was a cheaper pet for Hutchins to buy). Females can live for decades, while males...would be lucky to squeeze out a couple of years, if not just a few months. And Fang is already Not-A-Baby when Harumi gets him. So, unfortunately, Fang would probably have died long before Harumi does ;w;

Does Harumi like the baby Great Devourer, or is she scared of it? <- nah Epsilon loves her lmao . Harumi is wary of her ofc, but it grows on her and shows her not all snakes are out to eat her parents

Since Harumi isn’t a princess, is the whole ‘assassins are after her so she has to huddle up with the ninja on the bounty’ thing still valid, or is it something else? <- Undecided, but also elaborating would lead to more spoilers than I dare to risk :d But, more than likely there will be different reasoning for her sticking close with the group again.

When do Lloyd and Harumi officially start dating? <- ...they technically don't, actually (and I know a couple people recently were freaking out that they would. even if they did, it would NOT be anytime soon hrnnnng). But as with most things involving the Garma Farm, it's complicated. Along with several messy unfortunate emotions towards each other. But they're never, like, 'officially' boyfriend and girlfriend... though their dynamic, uh, 'evolves' prior to Season 8, shall we say (it's aaaall part of the tragedy~)
