ok @thatgirl4815 reminded me of its existence so now i need to revisit ray being called a burden in episode 1 for the millionth time but this time from a post episode 7 lens
(also yes i can read the room and am aware now is not the time in this tags history for a ray sympathy post but wtv) (also i already made a post about this??? i don't really remember august was years ago at this point and i have new thoughts apparently)
to start off, i think the only times ray's been called a burden is by boston and sand. in episode 1, boston is the only one to actually say it but i also think this moment could say a lot about the friend groups reaction to ray in general and how it hasn't really evolved.
boston: in general a lot of the time if boston is addressing ray its to hurt his feelings [see my other post about it here for more in-depth up to episode 5] (episode 1 see below, episode 2+7 boston provokes ray about mew, episode 3 bostonray conversation at the pool party about how much boston pities ray's shitty love life, episode 5 saying rays whole ass is owned by mew and telling sand about ray's crush after seeing them be happy, episode 6 ray confronts boston about whether he really slept with top while top and mew were dating and leaves believing he's a bad person and crying) and i wonder if we'll ever find out why.
but anyway boston calls ray a burden specifically because (in my opinion) he KNOWS it will hurt rays feelings at a time ray is already upset about top flirting with mew.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
ray upset = boston's bitchmode activated
and while we don't know how much boston knows about ray's suicide attempt, and its fair that me might not even have known it happened let alone why, the conversation afterwards implies that the friends all know feeling loved or believing he's lovable is something ray at least struggled with if not still does (in their minds they may not know how he feels in the present about it, we as the audience know these feelings remain for him)
Tumblr media
so that just feels like a cruel jab at ray, but like what else is the bostonray dynamic if not this.
cheum: cheum not only doesn't say anything when ray gets called a burden but she gets confused as to why he gets upset at it (i believe she specifically says "he gets so emotional when drunk"). my thoughts on whether or not she knows about ray's attempt is the same as i thought about boston, she probably knows something (she's the one that says "screw those who don't love you, i love you", but then also lists qualties that would make him desirable in a relationship and not really as a person, so she either doesn't get what ray's self-worth issues really reflect or wasn't told).
i don't want to say she's oblivious to ray but it kinda feels? that way. i think it would be interesting to look further into her relationship with april for this, the way she values having a happy relationship over an honest one, chooses lying over telling a truth that could potentially hurt.
Tumblr media
i don't think she's purposefully ignoring ray to keep her peace, but i think it would be interesting from a character perspective to know if she's so desperate to keep the friend group together she tries to underplay threats to it or to her friends (very different context but in episode 7 she says the group should "throw away personal issues" which lowkey makes the most sense in terms of finishing a project but still feels relevant to this) or if she doesn't look for underlying issues within the friend group while they're all pretending to be ok, and instead waits for something to blow up. like how in episode 7 she realizes ray was upset more then just being drunk and pissed off only after she knew about top and the tape, which reveals she didn't think there was a deeper reason why ray was up on that stage screaming crying and self-sabotoging in the moment it was happening. or earlier on in episode 1 when ray is saying he loves his friends as their dragging him home and boston says "i know what he's gonna say next" and cheum says "he will keep saying he loves us" but boston says "he'll say guys don't leave me", which is a small moment but i wonder if it was intentional for boston to acknowledge a sad truth about ray (especailly since he only does it when hes drunk) and cheum just repeating the much more positive thing.
Tumblr media
i also am thinking about her telling ray "why wouldn't you think to call us" after finding out days later he was in a car accident, when her and mew talked about ray before but they decided he wasn't responding because he was just drunk and then didn't check up on him.
Tumblr media
[side not im obsessed with her saying "im mad you told april about me, but i get that you were trying to tell mew about top and ton" like does she 1. not know mew already knew about the tape when ray got on that stage and 2. think that ray was airing EVERYONE'S issues just for the topboston reveal?? like is it just me or were there obviously A LOT of reasons ray started yelling everyone's dirty laundry out to the bar while crying and trying to fight people, also 3. ray never apologizes to cheum for it, which maybe they don't feel like he has to, but like cheum says im angry at you and ray responds to something else she says and then the conversation shifts, like it feels like both of them are not addressing tension within the group purposefully]
I wonder if she is naive about ray and his issues, if she's the kind of person that needs someone else to reach out before noticing someone's issues, or if she doesn't want people close to her to be in pain, or leave her and so she chooses not to acknowledge problems (hoping for a cheum arc pls pls pls)
(i am not a mew hater i don't know why i kinda come across as one here im not criticizing him im just interpereting his actions through the lens of someone predisposed to be hurt by them)
Mew: when it comes to hearing ray get called a burden by boston, he doesn't do anything, which maybe he just doesn't remember what ray said to him the night from the flashback (which fair i was in a similar situation and i've completely blocked that night out of my memory), but if he does and let's other people repeat to ray the same phrases that convinced him his life isn't worth living then… yeah… (actually i am now leaning towards mew maybe not having that night ingrained in him, like if someones final goodbye to you includes them saying their unlovable and a burden and you don't react to them being called that later on in the future then maybe he's just forgotten)
Tumblr media
i'd also say that maybe mew doesn't fully get ray's issues, like at the beginning of episode 6 he tells top that because of his moms, he never felt lacking in love because he always knew he had sources for it, so maybe he didn't fully process all of what ray was saying that night, or the role he holds in ray's life.
it could also explain his attitude towards ray in the entire rest of the series. like him commenting on ray bringing out the flask again (the fact the flask went away and is now coming back haunts me so much more than i think it was intended to)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
and showing concern but also saying he can't be ray's emergency staff all the time (translated into attachment issues as: you're being a burden again, i can't handle you)
or the conversation in episode 6 where he assumes ray is in the bathroom because he's drunk or getting high (translated into attachment issues as: you're letting me down like you always do or you're not good enough for anyone me) he asks ray why he doesn't love himself (translated into attachment issues as: your letting people down or theres something wrong with you or just general confused noises at a concept you can't comprehend) he tells ray he'll die before he's thirty (im not gonna really comment on this one besides, 1. if it was up to ray and not the characters that save him then yeah thats the point, and 2. he's not only seemingly inherited his mothers addiction issues but he seems to believe he's destined to follow in all of her footsteps…) [side note, but ray then saying "don't worry about me" with a smile on his face while seeming to be somewhere else entirely… kinda reminding me of him saying he won't be anyones burden anymore in the bathtub tbh. actaully in general i can't get over how tired he looks in this scene and how determined he is to paint on a smile for mew]
Tumblr media
[[second side note, rays face after mew tells him 'lets be friends forever" yeah….. no one talk to me about it]]
this scene in general seems to have an underlying emotion that i can't really define (if anyone knows pls tell me) but watching the scene on its own now that time has passed really does make it feel like a goodbye and i wonder if the scene feels sad because mew picks up on that too, or maybe he's just confused at ray's behaviour and ray is feeling conflicted about his own emotions, either way fucking ouch.
i guess my point with mew is that i don't think he has bad intentions but i don't think the things he thinks are helping ray actaully are, which, yeah why would mew at his big age of like 22 at the most know how to save ray. i think it shows he cares but that throughout this show so far there isn't enough communication between ray and his friends to truly get what they're dealing with here, that ray buries a lot of his feelings and that he seems to be operating on a different scale of pain. and in terms for my thoughts on how this evolves throughout the series, mew makes an effort with ray but we as the audience (especially compared to sand's scenes) see the ways he falls short, i think mew being with ray will give him the potential to learn more about ray or realize how much he doesn't know/understand. i hope it opens up communication between them, but i can't lie and say im not lowkey looking forward to them dealing emotional damage to eachother on a scale we didn't know possible.
like all my analysis posts i lost the point like 3 sentences in and just started rambling but curious on anyone elses thoughts on this now we are on episode 7
(also im not trying to be over critical of the group of 22 year olds, i was just projecting as the person in their 20s in a friendgroup who feels like a burden, i don't think any of these things make any of the characters bad ppl or anything it just creates interesting dynamics, peace and love <3)

Chipspeech Twitter Archive Update
Hi I should have done this months ago.. I do not know when (or if) I am going to finish that website lmao. So I am just going to share my notes from Google Docs. Should be easier to read than the original posts and helpful as a starting point if anyone else decides to make a website :3
The documents are all on commenting mode so feel free to make comments to bookmark things for yourself or write your thoughts or whatever. Under the cut I have put some formatting notes.
It's a folder, each year of Twitter posts is its own document (I tried to compile them into one but it lagged too much). There is also a document with all of the original Tumblr posts (from the accounts I could find, no tags yet but I will go back and get them eventually, also no dates but they're all from 2015), and one with the bios from the official website for ease of access.
The formatting is a little (a lot) weird and there are probably pictures that need resizing/transcription but I figured it's better to give people access now. The text is small (to keep the page count as low as possible) so you will have to zoom in.
It goes by day, organized with a bulleted list. The top level bullets are each character that tweeted that day. The second level bullets are original tweets/retweets by that character. The third+ level bullets are comment threads under that tweet, the organization here is inconsistent but imo still readable (if you think something needs an edit for clarity let me know and I'll fix it).
For each character's section of the list, normal text is that character's tweets/comments. Italicized text is anyone who is not that character. If it is labeled with unitalicized text, it is that character/important account (e.g. the official Chipspeech account), otherwise it is a fan. I also included some labels and/or clarifying comments for Vocaloid producers I like, they're not central to the story though
I got rid of the line breaks within the tweets when copying them down because it was easier to format. Sorry about that. Idk how to fix it other than going through everything again but it doesn't take away from the story so I'm leaving it for now.
If something came from a website other than Twitter, I tried to provide the link (unless its content was deleted). I did my best to transcribe the Clyp posts that were not deleted.
If something is a text-only retweet, it is marked with [retweet]. If it includes an image, it's probably a screenshot of the whole thing. I only included retweets that felt story-relevant (so no miscellaneous cat pictures, Apple-related aesthetic images, etc.), but if people really want it I can go back and add the rest.
Deleted tweets are noted with [deleted tweet], with the characters they came from if applicable. Idk how Twitter works but it the person in the thread is replying to the username of a certain character, I assumed it was that character's tweet that had been deleted. If something says [deleted Dandy thread], assume there is a deleted Dandy tweet in between each of the listed tweets (or another character, but it's usually Dandy). That was meant to be a temporary time-saver and I've gone back and fixed the ones I've found, but there's probably more I accidentally skipped.
Anything not in English is translated in a comment. Except the X-Sampa (I will fix that sometime but there's not much of it). Also it was done with the built-in Google Translate feature so it may be a little incorrect. Unclear pictures and whatnot also have clarifying comments. I can add more clarifying comments (or image IDs) if anyone needs them.
I tried not to include any unattributed fanart but there are some that I forgot to copy the handle for (I am also fixing these when I find them).
As for any future updates to this folder as a whole, I kind of want to go back through each account's liked tweets to see if there's anything funny in there but idk when that will be. That would probably be its own document.
Honestly I should have given everyone access back in June.. oops. If you have any questions you can put them in a comment on this post (or reach out to me another way, idk). As I mentioned before, feel free to use all of this as a starting point if you're making your own website.
I'll pin this post so it's findable in the future. Also sorry for disappearing for several months (it will happen again).

I want to start adding text descriptions to stuff i reblog, do you have any advice? is there a guide or something you use, the style of your IDs is very nice.
hey! thats great that you want to start writing IDs. I've reblogged guides before and ill tag this post with the tag they're in (image descriptions) so its easy to browse!
in addition to those other resources, here's some guidelines i personally keep in mind, & what i structure different IDs like.
for text transcripts: source & type of image, author, date if possible. here are some pretend/template IDs:
ID. a twitter screenshot from user @.[username] dated [date] that reads: "[tweet]." End ID.
i put the period after the @ symbol so it doesnt try to tag a nonexistent (or unrelated) user on this site, and a screenreader will just pause there briefly.
ID. a photo of a page from the book [name] by [author]. text reads: [transcript]. End ID.
if the OP cited the author/book/source, you can just do "Transcript: [text]. End transcript."
for actual images:
type of image is really important!
photograph, edited photograph, reaction image, edited reaction image, painting, digital painting, digital drawing, etc. you should always put what kind of image it is.
keep in mind the purpose of the image!
if its an art piece or a photo of one, its good to describe the medium, style, colors, and subject.
if it's a reaction image or other meme, you don't have to describe the surroundings in loving detail. the "point" of the image is enough.
if its a photograph, it might also be an art piece, or from the news, or someone sharing their pet. the amount and kind of detail again depends on the point of the image.
don't make judgements or assumptions!
dont describe things as badly drawn or badly photographed- and on the flip side, dont describe things as cute or beautiful. describe whats in the image, not how it makes you feel. if you love a certain part of how a photograph is framed, or how the light is painted in a piece of art, say that specifically. "beautiful" means nothing! do you mean realistic? vibrantly colored? "cute" means nothing! do you mean in a cartoony style? or that the subject matter is a cat, which many people find cute? be specific!
dont make statements about the gender or race of the people in the photo or art piece, especially if it's real people (like a news photo) unless you know those things as a fact (celebrities, fictional characters, people you know personally, people where it is mentioned in the article the photo is from). you can just describe things like hair length, skin tone, etc. exceptions to this rule imo are stock photos- eg if im captioning my favorite stock photo of all time, cyber woman with corn, i am going to describe it as "a stock photo of a white woman in a futuristic silver and black wraparound visor, wearing a silver bodysuit and cradling an ear of corn near her face and smiling slightly."
here are some example descriptions, all from images i have on my phone.
Tumblr media
ID. a photo of two cats laying head to head on someones outstretched legs, which are under a blanket. one cat is an orange tabby, and the other is a gray and white splotched tabby. End ID.
the point of this image is my cats- im not going to spend time describing the blanket, the couch, the stuff you can see in the background, bc it's not relevant to the image, and adds nothing.
Tumblr media
ID. a photo taken through a rainy window at twilight, with the camera focused on the raindrops on the glass, so the lights in the houses across the street are out of focus. the lights reflect on the wet pavement in a warm yellow glow. End ID.
i took this the other night bc i thought it looked cool how blurry it was- id consider this more of an "art" photo, so im describing the aspects of the framing etc that make it that- i wasnt just trying to show how rainy it was, but to take a photo in an interesting way, so those traits are "worth" describing.
Tumblr media
ID. a photo of an acrylic painting done on a cardboard packing envelope of a city street at sunset, all the building windows reflecting gold. there are purple fluffy clouds in the sky, lit from below with peach and gold. the USPS tracking number barcode is still visible in the gap between houses at the end of the street. the brush strokes are very visible, the perspective is wonky, and the orange underpainting is visible at the edges. End ID.
this is a new ID for something i painted and already posted and i dont feel like getting the old ID. medium, style, and specific details i think are important are included. the perspective being wonky is a bit of a value judgement i wouldn't make about Other people's art, but it's my own and i think its an important detail so!
Tumblr media
ID. an edited catcrumb comic, showing a simple mspaint illustration of a cat happily sorting things into piles with the caption, "sort sort. i love to arbitrarily sort." the cat has been colored in gray and its ears have been colored like homestuck troll horns, and the sorting piles replaced with some classpect symbols. End ID.
this is a good example of a edited image- its important to give (to some degree) a sense of what the original image was, say that its edited, and describe the changes. i dont need to list the classpect symbols i put on there, bc its not relevant to the message of the image- it would do nothing but make the ID longer.
oh- and to cap off the post- here is cyber woman with corn:
Tumblr media
ID. a stock photo of a white woman in a futuristic silver and black wraparound visor, wearing a silver bodysuit and cradling an ear of corn near her face and smiling slightly. End ID.

We’re back in business, baybieeee!
Long story short, being disbanded didn’t last long. You numbskulls missed us and we missed you. Team Skull is a family yo!
So since our poor Shady House just sat empty in our brief absence, we decided to slap a few dozen new coats of paint on it and move back in! And with Aether outta our hair, we can leave all that crap behind us and get back to our regularly scheduled chaos. No more wormholes and interdemensional horrors, just good old, family-friendly, petty crime.
Follow to stay up-to-date on what’s going down in Po Town, and send your asks if ya got ‘em!
Wanna be a part of the fam, but you're not in Alola? Check out the Team Skull Expanded Directory HERE!
NEVER LET UP!

Pelipper Mail: OPEN!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
((Follows from @ratt-teeth , ooc rules and info below the cut, please read before interacting! Last updated: 10/24/23))
__________
Heyo, it's the mun here! Everything here below the cut is blog info and housekeeping~
GENERAL INFO AND BLOG CANON:
This blog acts as the in-universe "official" page for Team Skull. It's run by Calla, who is considered the "head grunt" of the team. While it's supposed to be run as an official update account, she often uses it as a personal blog. More info on Calla can be found here and here.
While this blog is mostly gen, it's definitely more on the pg-13 side. Given the nature of Team Skull, there will be swearing, adult humor, and innuendo. If this makes you uncomfortable, feel free to block, I promise I won't get offended!
In the history for this blog, Team Skull reassembled about a year or so after disbanding, this time without any influence from Aether. They're back to just being a gang of goofy hooligans.
Should also note that this will more or less follow Sun and Moon's canon. I didn't particularly care for a lot of the plot changes in USUM, especially regarding Lusamine’s arc, so I'll be disregarding most of them.
While anyone is welcome to interact, I generally prefer other human characters over sentient pokemon. This blog follows the canon that pokemon are only slightly more sapient than real life animals, and Calla will assume most pokemon-run blogs are just people role-playing, and she's just playing along. (Whoa, meta!)
The above rule also applies to canon characters from other franchises/series.
Pelipper Mail is open and will be treated as if it was actually delivered via Pelipper (or other flying Pokemon)
RULES AND BOUNDARIES:
This blog is generally LOW-STAKES. While Calla may occasionally make commentary on higher-stakes events, please do not attempt to rope me into high-stakes scenarios without discussing it first. Absolutely no ultra/death-stakes. While mentions of death are fine and expected (such as in a backstory or in reference to agriculture/Pokemon as food) I prefer not to participate in it directly. I'm mainly using this blog for goofy fun-times, so please be considerate.
If you OR your character are a minor, absolutely NO flirty/romantic interactions. Friendly interactions and banter are fine and encouraged, but both me and my character are full-grown adults. This is a hard line to ensure everyone’s comfort and safety.
No magic anons!
This one isn't a hard boundary, but I tend not to lean too far into things like fallers/alternate realities, Pokemon-human hybrids, etc.
☆ Overall, this blog's canon tends to be more on the realistic side. I started this blog because I loved the idea started by @/realpokemon of combining the whimsical Pokemon world with the mundane-ness of the real world, and the challenge of balancing the two. While a lot of blogs in the community lean into the more zany and fantastical side of Pokemon, I just personally prefer keeping things more in line with the mainline games but with a touch of realism more akin to the real world.

(WIP) Music Monday
I was tagged by @inafieldofdaisies for today's post! Thank you friend! 🥰
The rules: Post a song that is relevant to your WIP or inspires it. I’m also including the lyrics.
Afflicted.
Got a big plan, this mindset maybe its right At the right place and right time, maybe tonight And the whisper or handshake sending a sign Wanna make out and kiss hard, wait never mind
Late night, and passing, mention it flipped her Best friend, who knows saying maybe it slipped But the slip turns to terror and a crush to light When she walked in, he froze up, believe its the fright
Its cute in a way, till you cannot speak And you leave to have a cigarette, your knees get weak An escape is just a nod and a casual wave Obsessed about it, heavy for the next two days
It's only just a crush, it'll go away It's just like all the others it'll go away Or maybe this is danger and he just don't know You pray it all away but it continues to grow
I want to hold you close Skin pressed against me tight Lie still, and close your eyes girl So lovely, it feels so right
I want to hold you close Soft breasts, beating heart As I whisper in your ear I want to fucking tear you apart
Then he walked up and told her, thinking that he'd passed And they talked and looked away a lot, doing the dance Her hand brushed up against his, she left it there Told him how she felt and then they locked in a stare
They took a step back, thought about it, what should they do 'Cause there's always repercussions when you're dating in school But their lips met, and reservations started to pass Whether this was just an evening or a thing that would last
Either way he wanted her and this was bad He wanted to do things to her it was making him crazy Now a little crush turned into a like And now he wants to grab her by the hair and tell her
I want to hold you close Skin pressed against me tight Lie still, and close your eyes girl So lovely, it feels so right
I want to hold you close Soft breasts, beating heart As I whisper in your ear I want to fucking tear you apart
Parenesis.
Lay where you're laying Don't make a sound I know they're watching They're watching
All the commotion The kiddie-like play Has people talking They're talking
You Your sex is on fire
The dark of the alley The breaking of day Head while I'm driving I'm driving
Soft lips are open Them knuckles are pale Feels like you're dying You're dying
You Your sex is on fire

Hi, I have two questions I thought y'all might be able to answer for me! First of all, how old is Cassian really? I know when Rogue One came out he was supposedly 26 but now with Andor I'm not so sure...
Second, what's the origin of the ship name Rebelcaptain? I think it's absolutely hilarious but I'd love to know from someone who was there when it was created and why! Also, I assume Rebel refers to Jyn and Captain to Cassian?
Thank you so much for taking to time to anwser my nerdy questions - it's really appreciated! And keep doing what y'all are doing - It's awesome :)

Thank you! Welcome to the fandom, and we're glad you're enjoying TRCN 🧡
Sadly, we're not able to give a definitive answer to either of these questions. The response still got very long, so the rest of it is below a cut...
1) The "RebelCaptain" ship name
The first teaser trailer for Rogue One was released in April 2016. Most fans assume that the "rebel" part came from Jyn's iconic line (which ironically didn't make it into the final cut of the movie): "This is a rebellion, isn't it? I rebel." However, Cassian isn't referred to by name or title in that trailer, so the "captain" part must have come from supplemental promotional materials.
The earliest stories tagged "rebelcaptain" on AO3 are dated June 2016, but they're orphaned, so we don't know who wrote them. (It's also possible that they were edited sometime after posting to include that tag.) Tumblr's search feature is useless for this purpose, of course, and Google Trends isn't much help either; there's no obvious peak and a few outlier searches long before Rogue One was even in production which muddy the waters. Once the film itself was released in mid-December 2016, the term seems to have taken off immediately.
So if any fan remembers exactly where/when the ship name started or can take credit for coining it, they should step up!
2) Cassian's age
Short answer: it depends which source you choose; long answer: neither age makes perfect sense, so who the hell knows.
Although no ages are given onscreen, when Rogue One was released, Cassian was stated to be 26 and Jyn 21 in official tie-in sources like the Ultimate Visual Guide. (Even at the time, plenty of fans felt that was ridiculous given the actors' ages.) Cassian was also given a few scraps of backstory (born on Fest, Separatist family, etc); if you're curious, images of the relevant pages are at the end of the post.
Then Andor Season 1 came out, and Cassian's backstory was completely altered. Now he's considerably older, likely to avoid (then) 39-year-old Diego Luna playing someone supposed to be in his early 20s. The current Wookieepedia article has a decent rundown of the cumulative evidence for his age in the film now being 33.
This was a controversial choice among longstanding fans, because it significantly delays Cassian's commitment to the Rebellion and makes his statement in Rogue One that he's "been in this fight since [he] was six" much more ambiguous.
Here are a couple of Tumblr posts with fandom reactions:

Cu-wip-osity Tag Game~!
Thank you @bvbyphoenix for tagging me!
(My main was tagged, but I'm posting this here to keep writing to the writing blog~)
Rules: reveal the titles of the documents in your WIP folder and tag as many people as there are documents. (I'll only include fandom-relevant ones for this post, and idk many people in the fandom, so if you see this: Tag! You're it!)
WIPs:
ets log: rec(Obsession.lov) Part [2]: Eden(Love) manages to recover her Obsession code successfully, as it's become her only reason for living. She continues trying to hold onto the code without it being found and removed again, while also obeying ETS's tests so she can get outside the facility and start looking for Marcus again.
Part [3] will be her excursions outside, mostly about clubs and parties she goes to between her work (which I'm making that she has to find a proper "opening" or something to the Meridian). ETS allows her to have fun so she can learn better how to blend in with people, but truthfully, she's gathering info about Marcus's wherabouts.
Untitled: A brief drabble that takes place during Inversion: Another Story about how Chelsie is glad Kody got kicked out so he wouldn't have to be in that situation.
Untitled: Kody is talking with his therapist about people can be burdened with grief even without the physical death of another.
A Clearing in the Algae: An update on Chelsie and Kody, and how things are starting to get better for them.
Imperium Willow(Darlin'): I admittedly forgot why I wanted to write this oops- Willow manages to survive this AU, and swears revenge after holding David's lifeless body in her arms.
Aftershock: Another Lament: I still want to work on this okay- But just for fun, I'll briefly list the parts I had in mind for it:
P1 - Angel: How Angel is doing after hearing about David's death. Will end with Milo and Chrys(Sweetheart) trying to reach her so she's not alone.
P2 - Alpha: Asher is having nightmares, and he and Emmanuel(Baabe) talk about Asher's becoming Alpha, and how he would rather have David back.
P3 - Sire: An update on Vincent and Gracie(Lovely). Will end vaguely in order to branch off with the person they chose to let Vincent turn.
P4 - The 69: Huxley was chosen to be reborn in Route 1. After being greeted by Vincent, Lasko (wearing an eyepatch) and Damien (in a wheelchair) enter to check on him. They discuss what happened and grieve their losses, while also including the fact that Gavin returned to Aria for an undetermined amount of time.
P5 - Detective: Milo is having nightmares about being outside the ward watching people die. Chrys tries to reassure him, and they continue into talk about the investigation. Chrys is on leave do to their motorcycle injury, but has received a promotion due to their work during the Inversion.
P6 - Healer: Willow joins Sam alone on a rooftop to reflect on the Inversion. She asks about how the kids are doing, and Sam provides updates. He also mentions that D.A.M.N. is now extremely shortstaffed, but they're having a flood of people wanting to study healing, and they've offered him a job knowing he's very skilled in that area. Willow thinks he should accept the offer, but he's not sure if teaching is what he wants to do.
P7 - The Freelancer: Cora was chosen to be reborn in Route 2. After being greeted by Vincent, Gavin and Caelum enter to check on her. They discuss what happened, including Lasko and Damien being in the hospital, and grieve their losses.
P8 - Dreamer: To end the series, we cut to Jessi(Blake's Listener) and Blake out on a date. Blake basically goes "uhuhu according to keikaku" while Jessi has no clue that her bf is a psycho.
Pending P? - Sister: This was a bonus chapter I've already sorta decided to pull, but it was going to purely revolve around my Blake's Sister OC Ava, and her feelings about this new case opening up as a result of the Invesion. This includes the police chief asking her (probably offscreen) if she'll be able to handle a case that involves her sibling, and revealing to Kieran (maybe Chrys on call) that the dreamwalker that interfered may be her brother. She reveals to them that while the two had a tense relationship growing up, and haven't spoken in years, she still loves her brother as a family member and may find it difficult to combat him.
Lovestruck: This drabble series has 3 chapters already, but here's my super secret list of other drabbles with their songs that I intended to write but haven't gotten to:
All of Me or Everytime We Touch- David/Angie
Drag Me Down - Emmy/Asher
Stereo Hearts x Zaalima - Milo/Chrys
Love Me Like You Do [Cello/Piano]  - Vincent/Gracie
*I Like It [Remix] - Amalia (OC)/Briar(Bright Eyes)
*I Like It [Remix] - Fred/Ryder (OC)
*This one was technically the next one I intended to write, and was left off in progress. It's going to be a double-drabble.
Rather Be - Avior/Stella
Birds of a Feather - Elliot/Sunny(Sunshine)
Hypnotic - Vega/Hydra(Warden)
Fever Dream or Shut Up and Dance - Blake/Jessi
Burn Break Crash or Accidentally in Love - Guy/Amy(Honey)
Can’t Help Falling in Love [Dark ver] - Ivan/Rivka(Baby)
Glad You Came - Kieran (OC)/Lasko
A Thousand Years ["Wedding" Ver] - Will/Kalila (OC) [Probably won't make]
Fever Dream - [Bonus gn listener if I feel like it] James/"Darling" (This was before he had a real listener, lmao. I don't actually know what the listener's name is though...)
Bad Things Happen Bingo (for Redacted):
Hanahaki: I've had an idea scribbled down to write this for Sam and Willow, specifically Sam since I've been enjoying the one-sided yearning on his part, ehehe~
Basically, Sam gets Hanahaki Disease, and the clan is trying to figure out what's wrong with him. William cites that it's an old and rare disease he hasn't seen in a while, and tbh, I have no idea how else it would go other than that, lol.
Locked in a Cage: Angie(Angel) right before her execution in the Imperium.
This is For Your Own Good: Avior realizes he completely fucked up handling Stella's(Starlight's) memory loss. Before their relationship shatters beyond repair, he holds her down and erases her memories to have one more shot...again.
Vague Ideas:
Vega/Warden: I just wanted to write about Hydra, and reference how she's friends with Caelum 💞
Vaelum Fluff: ...Okay soooo I kinda want to make a Vega/Caelum fic, but I don't really have any ideas for how to go about writing it, so it's just been a desire of mine silently floating through the void. I just know I want it to be soft and fluffy 💕
Kody Redemption P?: Maybe or maybe not a part where Chelsie goes to get her things back from her ex, but he tricks her into getting her alone so he can hurt her. Chelsie manages to reach Kody and in a very melodramatic fashion, Kody goes fisticuffs with her ex. He somehow gets out of it less harmed than Chelsie is, so she ends up in the hospital longer. This will be the second time she meets Damien, who will now be in a wheelchair.
Kody Redemption P?: I did want to include somewhere that he started going back to college somewhere else and met a cute and sweet girl that he likes and likes him back. It will also touch on how he slips back into his bad habits of stalking and possessiveness, but whether he stops talking to the girl or forces himself to correct his behaviours, I haven't decided yet.
Quinn Arc Shorts [My Ver]: I did intend once upon a time to fill in some of those blanks that Yours in Eternity, My Dearest had about what was going on with Quinn, but I'm not sure I have the desire to anymore honestly. I still have the spot reserved for it tho.
Vincent/Gracie&Dana(Stranger) Date OR Future Vincent/Dana: I have tossed the idea around to expand on Never Let You Go Again a little and have the three of them doing stuff together one day. I also had the idea of distant future Vincent after Gracie's passed away and how he and Dana start to hook up {Vampire/Mermaid couple anyone??] but idkkkk

Things Most Creators Don't Think About
So I've posted this before on Deviant Art, but it applies everywhere so I figure I'd post it here too. I've made minor changes though so it's relevant to here.
1. It helps others find your work in multiverses IF you start by naming the file with the multiverse FIRST rather than some random tag/title or not naming it at all and using a random jumble of letters/numbers.
- Being the Guardian of the Multiverses, this annoys me to no end when I'm going through images.
- This also helps Creators who use references and keep said references, if you have like... 20 different references of Undyne (for example) and maybe only like 2 of your own artwork... it's a heck of a lot faster to find your OWN work by putting the AU (or some other title) BEFORE naming it "undyne" or "the undying" or "fish lady" or whatever else because these titles are so over used.
2. If you create it... it appears in the Multiverse.
Whether you mean it to be taken seriously or not.
This is a HUGE one... there's so many crack/sh*/joke posts etc of characters... no one wants to take responsibility and realize that their creations ACTUALLY end up in the multiverse.
So yeah... that sh* post you made about a fan child of two different AU Sanses that you mean just to be funny to a friend? Guess what. They're now real. You created a new life.
Congratulations.
3. The difference between an AU and an AT ... most think just redesigning the characters' looks makes it an AU so they slap that title on whatever they're doing. Nope. Sorry, your new world is not an AU just because Papyrus has an orange turtle neck and is in the Royal Guard. That's not how AU and ATs function. Try again.
4. Connecting related pages.
- If you're completely new to posting online... okay. I get it. But there's plenty of examples in your fandom (and on the web as a whole) that should show that you CAN connect related content... like comic pages or different chapters in literature. Try doing it. (I'm still new to tumblr myself so I'm still trying to figure this one out... it happens)
- Nothing more annoying than playing a "where's the next page" game with a profile because the Creator couldn't take the 10 seconds it takes to connect something. I'm probably exaggerating here because I tend keep the tab of the previous thing I'm working on (comic or story) open before I post the new one. So it does not take me even 10 seconds to do a copy/paste job to connect pages on DA or other places I know how to do so. Probably more like 5. Pretty sure even a noob could do it in 10 seconds or less.
- The fact that something is "old" is no excuse for not doing it. If it's that old that you can't be arsed to connect it then why have it up in the first place?
5. Replacing old art with "this is old so here's a crappy pic to replace it instead of just deleting it"
- I have seen this on DA; this is just childish, stupid, and a waste of everyone's time... come on now. If you don't like it, delete it and stop wasting my time.
6. Deleting old art just because....
- it's old, you don't like it... because it's not as pretty as the new versions...
whatever the reason. that's stupid. the reason i say that is because 1. sometimes people like the older versions better than newer ones (the entire Deviant Art site is an example of this!) also, by keeping old art you can track your progress. see where you still need improving and how far you have come since you first drew the first piece. I can understand wanting to keep your stuff "up to date" but don't trash it just cuz it's old.
7. Calling stuff that's 2-3 years old as old
- Really? I get that "old" is relative but let's be real here. No one in the art community - and I don't mean the one on Tumblr - is going to agree that something you drew a year... two... three years ago is "old" by any standard. Picasso is old. Michelangelo is old, the stuff you posted when you were 5 - and now you're in your 20s - is old. Something you posted last year or the year before, or even three years ago is NOT old. A better term would be "out of date" in this instance because you have newer stuff.
I think that's all I have for now... cya in the mutliverse!

Hang on? Why is a 15 year old meeting a 12 year old considered age gap / grooming when it's just the age they met and nothing happened? I appreciate your efforts to pacify both sides, admin but my two cents is actually directed to anti - shikatema reasoning because of an age gap.
Isn't it canon that said ship started dating when they're adults? To my understanding it was Shikamaru who had a crush on her and was waiting for her in shippuden - and then past forward post war, she actually develop feelings too? I'm rumbling but isn't it a stretch to say it should be tagged as age gap when nothing happened in their younger years?
I'm not gonna comment directly myself as I never payed much attention to the ST ship.
And I'm not sure if "sure they met when he was a child, but they didn't pursue a relationship until they were adults" is relevant or if "they met as adults, it doesn't matter either way" is relevant. TBH.

Okay, so I am a little confused about some of your answers regarding Liam's situation (mostly about maya) and it's probably on me to be fair, but you're not blaming him right? Also, you have probably explained this in the past but would you mind debriefing on how they're all still connected to SC? And why Liam still needs to lie about bear when cheryl is under new management? Thanks
I don’t think that “blame” is the right word, but I don’t see him as a victim here.
Regarding his situation in general, Liam’s celebrity image has been largely wrapped around events and other people over the past couple of years (as opposed to music). He also seems to be the member of One Direction who talks about One Direction the most. Whereas we know from listening parties that fans were told not to ask Louis questions about 1D, Liam is incapable of letting an opportunity to remind everyone that he was in 1D (and miserable about it at that) slide by. Kind of like how Taylor Swift can’t write an album without heavily implying that at least half of her songs are about her two month “relationship” with Harry Styles. It’s like omg
Tumblr media
Another very complicated subject for Liam seems to be Zayn. He simultaneously cannot stop talking about him whilst also never keeping a consistent opinion or story on the matter of his exit from 1D. Whereas I haven’t heard Harry say Zayn’s name in about five years, Liam has relentlessly talked about him and it changes day to day whether or not he has something nice to say. I think the day he said he’d throw Zayn off the boat if he had to throw one of the members of the band off was the day that I was like
Tumblr media
Everyone knows Zayn can’t swim!
Tumblr media
Anyway. Remember this guy?
Tumblr media
Edward Enniful is the editor-in-chief of British Vogue. Him and Liam spent A LOT of time together.
Tumblr media
It’s how he met Naomi Campbell (don’t even get me started on that mess of a stunt) amongst other models Liam was reportedly dating and probably how he got his Hugo Boss deal. He was also there, it seems, to coordinate the arrangement between Liam and his current girlfriend.
Tumblr media
I don’t have the patience time to theorise on the nature of their relationship, but what is clear is that Edward was around whenever Liam was with all these models the tabloids claim he was banging. So, when I say that Liam’s celebrity profile has been wrapped largely around events, I mean events with Edward*, who paraded him around fashion events for the better part of a year.
My point is, Liam inserted himself into this crowd and lifestyle intentionally. This thing he has with this girl, however, does not benefit him in the slightest when it comes to his image. In fact, I would say that even before it transpired that she’s only 18 it was a pretty questionable storyline to be like, “Liam is dating a 1D fan!” It already sounded predatory and even if she was 19, that’s still really fucking young.
I genuinely have no idea who Liam’s management (or friends for that matter) are since it seems like no one is giving him a head’s up that this relationship is getting a pretty unanimous reaction of
Tumblr media
Honestly, I don’t even think his fans are being honest with him. I certainly didn’t want to talk about any of this because I prefer to keep my negative opinions to myself since there’s enough criticism out there as it is, but lately whenever I think of Liam I’m like
Tumblr media
SOMETHING is going on. And unlike Louis, who looks like he’d rather put a campfire out with his face than be around any of his beards, Liam is actively participating in and promoting this relationship as if he’s being paid to do so. Because he is. He should really put #Ad on every social media post he tags this girl in since not doing so violates the rules of Instagram.
As to his connection to SC...I wouldn’t be surprised if SC was like
Tumblr media
to all of this as well. He’s probably like, “Yeah I know my ghostwriter I wrote in my book that if you want to become famous you should have a PR relationship with someone famous, but that’s for people who AREN’T ALREADY FAMOUS.”
I would be pulling something out of thin air if I were to tell you how SC and Liam are linked at the moment, since beyond his appearance on TXF it doesn’t seem like they’re too close. Then again I would not be surprised in the slightest if Liam showed up as a contestant on Celebrity XF. It would be less shocking than his Child Beard™ girlfriend being 18.
As for Cheryl and Bear
Tumblr media
I know this seems like a whole lot of word vomit on how Liam is the worst, but I genuinely think that it is in his best interest to realise what the public perception of all of this is. I am not saying that my opinion is universally shared, but given that almost nobody has jumped to defend the idea of him dating an 18 year-old, I feel like most people are pretty much in agreement on that being a bit..weird. And creepy. It’s definitely creepy. On both ends...like what’s the story here? Love at first meet and greet?
The reality is that either:
1. Liam is being paid to date an 18 year-old girl to give her more exposure and fame (which isn’t happening because no one is buying what they’re selling)
or
2. Liam is dating an 18 year-old fan who he met when she was 14
Tumblr media
Twice
Tumblr media
And again when she was 17
Tumblr media
It doesn’t help that she looks like a child.
Tumblr media
The fandom didn’t like the predatory implication that when Cheryl was 32 she was attracted to 14 year-old Liam, so I don’t know what PR genius decided to double down on the questionable and inappropriate age differences, but this is not a good look for anyone.
I GENUINELY hope that someone pulls Liam aside and convinces him that his talent is enough to make him a celebrity, because it certainly is. If he needs money, he knows this fandom can do a whip around like no one else, he doesn’t need to be on some shady lawyer’s payroll just so some rich kid can have an iota of relevance. I’m not going to try and deeply psychoanalyse someone I don’t know, but these certainly do not appear to be the actions of someone with confidence in their work. These stunts and events and cameos from random celebrities make it seem like he’s clutching to relevance, and the desperation is very off-putting.
Liam has done some incredible things musically since the band went on hiatus, but all of that is being overshadowed by what appears to be an obligation to make someone else famous. Unlike his girlfriend though, he isn’t a kid. And I think some serious reassessment is in order.

They're the Best Around: The Top 25 Moz Blog Posts of 2019
Posted by FeliciaCrawford
Well, folks, it's that time of year again. It's hard to believe we've already gone another turn around the ol' sun. But I've consulted my analytics data and made my SQL queries, and I'm here today to present to you the list of the top Moz Blog posts of 2019!
For a little perspective, we published 207 blog posts, averaging out to about 4 per week. Out of those 207, the twenty-five I'm sharing with you below were the most-read pieces of the year. If you're strapped for time (and who isn't in our industry?), survey says these are the articles that aren't to be missed. And bonus — a good chunk of them are videos, so bring out the chocolate popcorn and settle down to watch!
(If chocolate popcorn sounds new and unfamiliar to you, I implore you to check out the Cinerama in Seattle's Belltown neighborhood the next time you're in town for MozCon. It is life-changing. Get the mix of regular and chocolate and never, ever look back.)
I'll be sharing the top keywords each post ranks for according to Keyword Explorer, too, to give you some idea of why these posts have continued to be favorites throughout the year. Gotta love that "Explore by Site" feature — it makes my job way too easy sometimes! ;-)
(For the Keyword Explorer nerds in the audience, I'll be filtering the rankings to positions 1–3 and organizing them by highest monthly search volume. I want to see what we're ranking highly for that gets lots of eyeballs!)
Ready to get started? I sure am. Let's dive in.
The top 25 Moz Blog posts of 2019
1. On-Page SEO for 2019 - Whiteboard Friday
Britney Muller, January 4th
57,404 reads
Top keywords according to Keyword Explorer: seo 2019 (#3, 501–850), seo best practices 2019 (#3, 501–850), homepage seo 2019 (#1, 0–10)
On-page SEO has long been a favorite topic for y'all, and the top number-one winner, winner, chicken dinner post of 2019 reflects that loud and proud. In this expert checklist, Britney Muller shares her best tips for doing effective on-page SEO for 2019.
And if you want a hint on one reason this puppy has been so popular, check out #10 in this very list. ;-)
2. The 60 Best Free SEO Tools [100% Free]
Cyrus Shepard, June 10th
51,170 reads
Top keywords according to Keyword Explorer: seo tools (#1, 6.5k–9.3k), free seo tools (#1, 1.7k–2.9k), free seo (#1, 501–850)
This post is a testament to the power of updating and republishing your best content. Cyrus originally authored this post years ago and gave it a sorely needed update in 2019. There are literally hundreds of free SEO tools out there, so this article focused on only the best and most useful to add to your toolbox.
3. The Ultimate Guide to SEO Meta Tags
Kate Morris, July 24th
42,276 reads
Top keywords according to Keyword Explorer: seo meta tags (#1, 501–850), 1-page meta (#2, 501–850), what are meta tags (#3, 501–850)
Here's another vote for the power of republishing really good content that you know your audience craves. Originally published in November 2010, this is the second time we've asked Kate to update this article and it continues to deliver value ten years later. SEO certainly changes, but some topics remain popular and necessary throughout all the ups and downs.
4. The One-Hour Guide to SEO
Rand Fishkin, throughout 2019
41,185 reads for the first post (143,165 for all six combined)
Top keywords according to Keyword Explorer: moz seo guide (#2, 201–500), moz beginners guide to seo (#3, 101–200), moz guide to seo (#2, 11–50)
A "best of the Moz Blog" list wouldn't be complete without Rand! His six-part video series detailing all the most important things to know about SEO was originally published on the Moz Blog as six separate Whiteboard Fridays. We've since redirected those posts to a landing page in our Learning Center, but the first episode on SEO strategy earned over 41k unique pageviews in its time live on the blog.
5. A New Domain Authority Is Coming Soon: What’s Changing, When, & Why
Russ Jones, February 5th
38,947 reads
Top keywords according to Keyword Explorer: moving a 60 da to a 90 da seo (#1, 0–10), moz da update 2019 (#1, 0–10), upcoming domain change(#1, 0–10)
When we upgraded our Domain Authority algorithm in March, we knew it would be a big deal for a lot of people — so we put extra effort into education ahead of the launch. Russ's initial announcement post introducing the coming changes was the foremost source for information, earning ample attention as a result.
6. How Google Evaluates Links for SEO [20 Graphics]
Cyrus Shepard, July 1st
38,715 reads
Top keywords according to Keyword Explorer: free google picture of created equal (#2, 0–10), google 1 page 2 links (#2, 0–10), google top rankingillustrations (#2, 0–10)
All right, I admit it: we did a ton of content updating and republishing this year. And it seriously paid off. Cyrus revamped a perennially popular post by Rand from 2010, bumping it from ten graphics to twenty and giving it a much-needed refresh almost a decade after the original post. The top keywords are kind of weird, right? Check out the title on the original post — looks like we've got a little work to do with this one to get it ranking for more relevant terms!
7. Do Businesses Really Use Google My Business Posts? A Case Study
Ben Fisher, February 12th
32,938 reads
Top keywords according to Keyword Explorer: google my business posts (#2, 201–500), how to post on google my business (#3, 101–200), google business post (#3, 51–100)
Even a couple of years after Google My Business Posts became an option, it wasn't clear how many businesses are actually using them. Ben Fisher asked the important questions and did the legwork to find the answers in this case study that examined over 2,000 GMB profiles.
8. Announcing the New Moz SEO Essentials Certificate: What It Is & How to Get Certified
Brian Childs, May 1st
32,434 reads
Top keywords according to Keyword Explorer: moz certification (#3, 101–500), moz seo certification (#2, 51–100), moz academy (#3, 51–100)
One of our most-asked questions from time immemorial was "Does Moz offer an SEO certification?" With the launch of our SEO Essentials certificate in May of this year, the answer finally became yes!
9. Optimizing for Searcher Intent Explained in 7 Visuals
Rand Fishkin, March 23rd
