Gregory in third person pov - the realisation he liked you

he was zoning out at the swan gazebo and drawing some sketches with his charcoal pencil. The first bit of the facial anatomy was done, and he used French bread to remove the lines. to make the face he slowly did the eyes and made them defined and full of life, the nose features, and soon enough he had nearly finished carefully doing each strand of hair falling perfectly around the face he wasn't even thinking about who it was but when he stopped to finally look at it realised who it was. 'Oh no,' looking at it more, he tilts his head back, closing his eyes shut to not let the sun make him dizzy. 'noooo' now he was roughly pressing the charcoal to the paper. 'i just really like you face' drawing the smile you always wore around him. 'Ugh, you don't have to look so happy..' he kept drawing, now to try and get it just right. remembering all the times you expressed it. 'im not really into the love that you flaunt in some bright font' smirking to himself 'but if that's what you want ill make it snappy.- wait what' he looked around noticing no one was looking at him he sighed 'i just feel so out of place' he finished your face. 'but not when you near me' moving on to the shoulders. 'when your gone, I'm like a plant with no root' he made quick work of the shape and made the clothes 'or a ball that's on mute' he smiled looking at his work 'don't you dare call me cute, you should fear me' a hand on Gregory's shoulder makes him jump, it was bluewer telling him he needs to sort out a purple house conflict, and to bring cheslock to sort out a fight. sighing and carefully putting his sketch away, a small smile on his soft features. i was in disguise at the school, as ceils older brother, as I saw him as one. and missed being in a dress. so after the cricket game was announced, and shown it was underway, i went behind the door to get into a dress. i was hiding one underneath my cloak, i let the dress fall from the purple robe it set nicely, and i just simply wrapped the fabric around my waist, like a bow. and headed out to find Gregory, he was still upset about the fire, and wanted to leave as fast as he could. and i understood, but i wanted to dance with him just a little. "I made a promise so sure." he held my hands, and i started to slowly waltzes in a random backroom. away from the crowed and prying eyes and i could see that every few movement he was getting more and more pale, as we turned slightly in the dance "Now I feel nauseous, As if I drank a cup of stuff you clean your countertops with" i giggle a little as we stop. he lets go of my hands, to hold his head, he feels dizzy but i come prepared knowing about this, with some water in a canteen. Daniel would always want to be right in the middle 😁 Sean would try to send him away unless you told him different. Sean’s dad, Esteban, would walk by making teasing comments every so often but all in good fun.

If you guys went to parties he’s definitely the show off type when it comes to you. Introducing you to everyone that talks to him. You’ll probably never really talk to these people again after the party and he knows that, it’s just a way for him to say “I love this person and no one else!” to people so they don’t get any ideas.

You both are pretty much in a rush trying to survive and get to Mexico that it put a pause on your relationship. You were still together but there was now things that were more important and you didn’t really think about other things. That was until you both were able to settle down at the farm.

Things at the farm weren’t completely perfect but you both had the chance to feel normal again. Or at least as much as you could.

Prison duo playlist analysis day 5 - Laundry Day by cavetown

The first lyrics immediately make me go- oh, yeah- yeah that’s… thats somethin for sure.

Okay I know I say a lot of them are specifically Icarus but that’s cause I’ve got some of the ones that are just Icarus after he dies- I don’t- listen-

So- yeah- it’s Icarus after his death.

“You’re living in the past” just- their denial. They can bring him back, he’s not gone he’s just… away temporarily but he will be back! He’s not gone I could still message him and talk to him if I wanted to but I don’t and *thats* why I’m not.

“Keep it under wraps… everybody knows”

Icarus tried to hide it, but Rae found out. (and oh two shall break my beloved) People know they’re not doing well, Ven mentions it I believe when he leaves. Ari knows. Rae knows, Athena knows. They know because it’s happened before- and they’re doing the same thing. They also know because Icarus isn’t the best at keeping it “under wraps.” At hiding how they feel, it becomes pretty obvious if not in their words in their appearance, the eye bags under their eyes, their jacket, the wound and faded whack on their shirt…

“Laundry day, gonna shrink your shirt. Makes a perfect fit for me. Don’t know when you’ll learn”

Mmm. See what I think of is a headcannon/something I’ve seen in a fic I read of them keeping some piece of his clothing like a shirt and keeping it in the Fable house with them. If we go off of bird instinct things, it would absolutely be a part of their nest. “Don’t know when you learn” I think in this context is a call back to the denial- they are doing this and they still are convincing themself that he’ll come back.

“Little pieces of their all home. All the better time for me. Please just let it go.”

Whenever they go back to even just get something from their house they hope people aren’t out and about- especially after Jamie. Before- there were moments of them saying nobody had come to check on them. Nobody came to find them- and that solidified the hurt in their head that they should be alone. That the people of the grove aren’t their friends.

Going back to them going home- y’know the episode like king, like prince where they talk with Athena? Y’know how most of that was them trying to keep him safe and away but they refuse and make it about how Icarus is repeating their actions. They just want them to let it go- to just go and be safe. Shrug.

“It’s been getting worse. You don’t wanna know, ignoring how it hurts.”

… self explanatory? Their mental state getting worse and worse- also the quixis wounds.

“Don’t feel welcome here at all. Please, just let it go.”

Again- then going home and knowing they’re not welcome. They want everyone to stay out of it so they can just get it over with.

“Stir crazy from hanging around. So her brother and me take her out of town. Silence loud, in the Forrest burnt. Man, she doesn’t want to be here. Don’t know when I’ll learn.”

One being family reunion and Rae coming over to talk to Icarus.

A/N: I FINALLY WROTE A FANFIC FOR MY VERY FIRST BIAS!!!!! Idk why I didn't do this sooner because yall don't understand how fucking down bad I am for this man...like even my therapists hear about him every session...

You and Jeongin laid on a hill looking up at the stars. Your hand held Jeongin's slender hand despite the fact your hand felt like it was on fire due to his warm hands. It was around 10 pm…ish. That was just a guess. Earlier you and your boyfriend went out for just a short walk, without your phones, but ended up stopping on this little hill. So on and so forth and now you're looking up at the stars together.

"Do you think we should go home now?" You said turning to him. You watched the stars twinkle in his gorgeous eyes and felt yourself fall in love with him all over again.

"No…this is nice," he said, smiling lightly, still staring at the night sky. Then he suddenly sat up, startling you "Unless you want to go home, it's totally fine if you do I just-"

You stopped his rambling by putting your finger up to his soft lips and sitting up next to him.

"It's fine. I like this too," you said smiling fondly at him. His cheeks lit up a soft pink as he looked at your other hand which was on the ground keeping you up. You laid back down and took a deep breath. Jeongin soon followed you back down to the grass. "The moon looks beautiful tonight," you said as you stared at the white orb hanging in the sky.

"It does…but not as beautiful as you," Jeongin giggled.

"That was so cheesy," you laughed and rolled over so you were now facing him. Jeongin cracked up too.

"I know," he laughed. When he paused, his big,dark brown eyes watching the way your shoulders bounced as you laughed, how the tips of your smile nearly reached your squinted eyes. You opened your eyes and stopped laughing to see why he stopped. You soon did the same as he did. Looking at how all his gorgeous features lit up in the moonlight. You then leaned in for a kiss which he returned instantly. It was a tad bit of an uncomfortable position but that didn't matter because the way his warm lips felt on yours and the way his hands instantly grabbed your hair just the way you love made you melt. You stopped for a quick breather, your lips reluctantly separating from his.

"This kinda reminds me of when we first started dating," Jeongin said resting his head on top of his hand which was on the grass.

"Oh God please don't remind me of that," you said, barring your face in the grass.

"But you were just so cute. The way you accidentally confessed and after I had called you out you went to kiss me and…" he teased crawling closer to you.

"Please stop," you whined.

"You closed your eyes, and do you remember what happened?" He smirked.

"I kissed your nose…" you mumbled. Jeongin just laughed as he played the memory in his head. He rolled back on his back as you kept your red face in the grass. You sat up a bit and slapped him on the shoulder. "It's not that funny, okay!"

Suddenly you felt a droplet on your head. You looked up and to your surprise there were dark clouds covering the beautiful moon and stars. When did those get there? In looked up at you in confusion.

"What happened?" He questioned.

"I just felt a drop of rain," you said, extending your hand out to see if you could catch another drop and to your surprise there was another drop.

"Oh, I felt one on my head earlier but I was a little busy picking on you to care," he chuckled.

"Man, I was having fun…I don't want to go home," you started to get upset. You were hoping to hang outside for a little longer.

"No one says we have to go home yet," Jeongin smiled as he sat up next to you. He hopped up to his feet and you followed. "It's already raining a lot," Jeongin spoke while looking up at the sky. Then a raindrop landed right on his nose making him jump lightly before giggling. You smiled at him with pure love in your eyes. Out of nowhere you decided to run up the hill in the rain and of course Jeongin followed. When you reached the top you just basked in the rain waiting for In to catch up. You spun as the rain fell on your face.

"Why did you come up here?" Jeongin said as he tried to catch his breath.

"Why did you follow me?" You said jokingly, "just kidding! I wanna roll down the hill," you smiled at him and his face lit up. You lied down and the ground and In quickly followed. "Ready?"

"Yup!"

And with that the two of you rolled down the hill, getting absolutely soaked and covered in dirt but the empty air was filled with laughter. You two both stayed on the ground laughing before agreeing to do it again, but this time once you got to the top Jeongin came up with another idea. He grabbed both of your hands and started dancing. There was no rhythm or logic behind any of this dancing but it was so fun and romantic. The rain started coming down more frequently as you twirled around each other in laughter. After a while you slipped and landed on your ass.

"Oh are you okay?" Jeongin said kneeling down to you but you just looked up at him in laughter.

"Yeah," You said, laying down again. "Wanna roll?"

"Of course," he said laying down next to you, "first one that gets down there is the winner!" He called out before rolling down the hill alongside you. When you were almost at the bottom of the hill you and Jeongin collided, causing chaos. Once you stopped rolling you were half on top of him, laughing.

You went to go get up again but when you looked down you saw the look and Jeongin's eyes and you couldn't move. His hair was wet and dangling in his face as streams of rain trickled down his face, his black shirt soaked and stuck to his soft skin, his lips were parted and taking deep breaths as his chest heaved. Your gut was telling you to put your lips on his asap and you couldn't help it. You grabbed both sides of his wet face and smashed your lips into his. Jeongin's hands roamed all over your soaked body. It was quite the pleasurable feeling. The mix of the wet rain and his beautiful hands was like the gate to heaven. You moved your fingers up to his hair and started messing with it. You took a breathing break and Jeongin took this opportunity to surprise you.

He slowly started kissing all the way up your jawline to your ear. He stopped and breathed softly in your ear, his lips just barely grazing it as his breath heated your ear up. This simple action of his just turned you on so much more. You then let your weight fall on top of him and started grinding up against his soaked thighs. The way his wet jeans stuck to his thick thighs felt incredible against your throbbing core. Jeongin picked up on this easily. He knew how delulu you are for his thighs. So In grabbed your hip and started guiding you up and down his thigh. You gripped your lip harshly in an attempt to keep quiet. You buried your face in his wet shoulder, hiding your blush and muffling your sounds.

He then pushed your hips down harder and made you go slower. You couldn't help but let out a quiet mewl at his behavior. He knew exactly what you loved.

"Don't hide your moans," he whispered in your ear, making you shutter.

"I-I can't help it," you said between whimpers. In just smirked at you.

"No, I've heard you before," He said as he continued to rub you harshly against his wet jeans. You didn't say anything more but you decided to let Jeongin hear how he made you feel. Finally you had, had enough and needed more attention. Now.

"Jeongin," you muttered out.

"Yes," he said in that deep voice he likes to use against you.

"I need you. But I'm afraid someone will hear us,"

"Oh I see what you mean," he said, flipping you so you were on the ground and his knee was in between your legs. "Don't worry, hopefully they'll just think it's a weird kid howling at the moon and not a man."

The Sun in My Eyes: Chapter Titles

Obviously, when I began writing The Sun in My Eyes, I had no idea was going to take the rest of my goddamn life to complete 🤣 So I titled the first eight chapters whatever came to mind. My absolute favorite is "The Midnight Bombshell What Bombs at Midnight" which is a very obscure reference to an episode The Tick. Runner up is, "The Night was Sultry" which is from a movie called Throw Mama from the Train. I digress... When I realized that TSIME was gonna take awhile, I started using song lyrics for chapters. I have a file that has hundreds of lyrics that follow the themes of the story like weather, light, sky, moon, stars, etc. And they're all broken down into categories of: Love & Hope, Sexy, Angsty, and Hesitance & Longing. So for each chapter I'd decide the predominate emotion and then pick a lyric from the list. Or rather I'd pick eight of them and then make @throughthejunobush pick which one 🤣

More Fantasy High Headcanons (mostly Fig and the Sig Figs band because she's consumed my brain)

Gorthalax and Gorgug's bio dad mutually decide that they don't step on Fig and Gorgug's band and want their kids to do their own thing without them

So they sit them down and say, "hey, with Fabian joining, maybe you should find two other members your age because we have our own lives and you should do your own thing"

there are a lot of tears from Fig and Gorthalax but Gorthalax says he will still be around for comeback shows and special events

So they get two new members, one plays keyboard and one plays electric guitar. (Fabian joins too but is just a singer)

Fig teaches Fabian to play the acoustic guitar

Fig has written a song about driving really fucking fast down the highway in a hotrod in reference to Johny Spells that she only performs with Gorthalax

Speaking of which, she buys Johny's car from the dump and gets it fixed to be a fun way to take the Bad Kids to Bastion City for Summer Vacation

Gorgug writes music but it has similar vibes to Alec Benjamin and Cavetown

While Fig writes music like Paramore, Mother Mother, and the actual Significant Figures fan band for Fantasy High

They do mother's day and father's day shows and Mrs. Thistlespring has so much fun

This is also where Fig finds out that Sandra-Lynn almost multi-classed into bard and is fucking sick at screamo!

Fig calls her, Fabian and Riz stepsiblings. Fabian pretends to hate it but secretly loves it because he's always wanted siblings and Riz plays along and teases them

Fig and Fabian's birthdays are only a week apart from each other in the middle of July (or this world's equivalent) and starting after Sophomore year they celebrate the middle day between their birthdays as a shopping spree just them
