Baby Mermaid and The Sailor Boy (CC Pack for The Sims 4)

Baby Mermaid & The Sailor Boy is a toddler bedroom set that’s been in my mind (and in my sketchbook) for quite some time now. I had originally planned to release it earlier, but life got in the way and I had to put it on hold for a while. Still, the idea never really left me, especially with so many of you in the community asking for an under-the-sea or mermaid-inspired CC pack. 🧜‍♀️

I wanted it to feel cute and diverse, so I imagined a toddler version of Ariel and Prince Eric, and that’s how this collection came to life.

Ariel’s bedroom is focused on her life under the sea, with a beautiful toddler bed inspired by ocean shapes, a cute night light shaped like a shell with a glowing pearl, a coral-style bookcase, friendly undersea toys, and even an adorable octopus plushie.

Little Prince Eric has his own mini sailboat bed, a matching nightstand and dresser, a treasure chest toy box, and the sweetest seagull plush friend. And yes, the lighthouse bookcase doubles as a floor lamp!

A huge thanks to my buddy Billy (also known as @SimScraper2), who helped me sketch some of the objects, thanks to him, they turned out extra adorable! 🩵 If you haven’t seen Billy’s art yet, you’re missing out. Go follow and check it out!

I reduced the polygons as much as I could, originally they were like 40k 🥵

Movie/series/videogame that you would suggest everyone to watch/play at least once in their life.

i think everyone should play minecraft at least once in their life, but not the way people usually do. no hardcore survival challenges. no mega builds. no complex redstone. i really think people should, at least just once, start a world with no plan, build a shitty house out of cobblestone with a friend, and then just surround that house with random buildings they keep making. don't put thought into it. build pixel art of pokemon right next to a castle. whatever. it will feel ridiculous and pointless in the moment but all of a sudden the music will hit you the right way and it's the most at peace you may ever feel.

But not everyone wants something that big in their backyard.

So I thought about creating a smaller, horse related object, that could be used for the same thing :)

These are 4to2 conversions from Felixandre Chateau Set Part 5, medium poly. The bookshelf is a deco object with 19 slots (found in surfaces-shelves). The books work like a functional bookcase, but you can put them everywhere you want. 10 recolors for every object.

This bookshelf/shelf is base game compatible and has 17 swatches. The wood swatches match my other cc objects. 

It has slots of all sizes (small, medium, and large) but depending on the height and width of your decor objects, they may clip through the upper shelf or back of the shelf, so it's up to user discretion to pick what should and shouldn't be placed. All EA made book bookshelves (The bookshelves that are placable books) should all fit with no clipping as far as I can tell.

It took me about three weeks to build and complete this Massive Library build for Sims. I posted it on the Gallery under "Massive Library" under my name NOPETHANQ. This is part of my Newcrest construction project. If I had the spellcaster pack, I'd have added a Doctor Strange basement with lots of sorcery and witchcraft items. But it will remain empty for now. Feel free to tag me if you finish the basement!!
