my main issue w the gorls being kidnapped in 3 vs 1 is that in 1 it was used to like rlly show how far gru has come and for them to finally really trust each other. like gru proves to them and himself that they ARE the most important thing to him. vs in 3 lucy saves them and thats like... it.

theres a weird subplot abt lucy trying to prove herself as a mum and bond w the gorls but she... already knows them. pretty well. they met on like the second or third day of her meeting gru. its not like shes new in their life. and they already love her... i dont get it mannnn

Lea has always been the one to make more friends than Isa like Lea was probably Isa's only friend like bc Isa wanted it that way bc he's cold and an asshole and doesnt get along w/ people but he gets along w/ Lea bc Lea cuts thru his bullshit and doesn't give up on him and gets his humour and tolerates when he's angry and Isa loves him so much for it. But Lea has options. He has so many options bc everyone wants to be Lea's friend and Lea wants to be friends w/ everyone and Isa just has to watch and see how much everyone gets along w/ Lea and how if he loses Lea he'll have nothing but Lea will be fine w/o him and it kills him IT KILLS HIM IT KILLS HIM so he keeps Lea all to himself and it works bc (fucking dumbass) LEA LIKES HIM BACK!!!!!! EVEN IF HE WONT SEE THAT!!!!!!!! And so Isa falls into a state of security. Especially after all they went through and then w/ Subject X and now they're in this fucked up cult and they're the only ones who have each other's backs and they're the only ones who can help Subject X and for the first time Isa can feel secure bc its not just a flimsy 'friendship' or 'feelings' keeping them together but something concrete, something REAL a GOAL for the both of them a real reason for them to stay together and for once Isa can relax even though the situation they are in is so fucked up.

Then comes Roxas and Xion.
