Snow will be heavy at times across central Minnesota through northern Wisconsin. Classic snow event with thunderstorms moving into the cold air, enhancing snow rates. Heavy thunderstorms will continue along the cold front. Storms will have gusty winds and small hail. Warm weather will continue ahead of the front but once the front goes through, the warmth is done.

salty kisses--a klance beach au

So @snowthunder and I have been hard at work on a klance beach au, inspired by 1) our mutual love of klance and 2) my obsession with projecting my experience with Gulf Coast Florida on Lance. 

It’s got everything you’d want in a beach AU: marine biologist!Lance (who also happens to be a cabana boy), photographer!Keith, reluctant feelings, bonding moments, MUTUAL PINING, a sunburnt Asian boy, Brogane feelz, some serious Garrison Trio. Also, it has the added benefit of one of the writers actually being from Florida, so I will shit on the state as much as I will love it. 

We’ll be posting the first of it shortly after s6 of Voltron, so keep a weather eye out. Here’s a link to my AO3 and Dani’s AO3 if you guys want to subscribe (would recommend, since that’ll be the best way to find this AU). It was still a mystery to Keith as to how he ended up on a beach resort in Florida. Shiro had invited him down and he’d had no intention of saying yes, but there he was, surrounded by old people, lazy waves, and way too much sand. This place was everything he claimed to hate--calm, warm, sedentary. He’d told Shiro he’d stay for a bit, but already he itched to run like he always did. So what the hell was so different about one starry, blue-eyed boy that made Keith want to stay long enough to become something new?

Lance had a hard time believing he was a success story. He spent his days serving drinks to rich old ladies who tried to pretend he didn’t speak English, working his way through his Bachelor’s at the ripe old age of 23, and chasing after a dream that still seemed so far away. He had great friends, an internship at a respected aquarium, and his job at the resort really wasn’t so terrible. He had a good life. Why then was he trying his best to get his heart broken by a boy who didn’t even want to stay?
