would you share some of the branded pairs you feel are unsuited to one another? i'm very curious!

For me to want a pair to stay branded, I have to realistically believe they have achieved optimal chemistry with each other—meaning that if they were to act alongside anyone else, their performance would be worse.

There are three couples at GMMTV that I feel are mismatched. For some it's because one half of the pair is so much more talented than the other that I feel like they're being held back. For others, both halves of the pair are equally talented but their acting styles just don't seem to complement each other well. In my opinion, those three pairs are OffGun, ForceBook, and JimmySea.

And that's not to say these pairs don't do good work! Not Me is my favorite Thai BL. I just think all of these men are capable of more and I wish the industry allowed more experimentation before you were forced to settle down with a partner.

Imagine Gun with Khao or Tay! Imagine Book with Mond or Gawin!

Once again, this is simply my own opinion and should not be taken as any kind of gospel. Everyone has different tastes. That's why I love Thai BL so much. There's something for everyone and if one particular pair isn't to your liking, there are a hundred more to choose from. It's not like in Western media where you get two queer shows a year if you're lucky. In QL Land, we have options ✨

I actually think Dorian and Orym should fight more.

Remember when their slowly building tension over and entire episode (full of passive aggressive remarks and blame throwing) led to threats? And how after, Orym thanked Dorian for handing over the crown sadly because he knew Dorian would be mad at him? And Dorian couldn't even look at him because he was legitimately hurt, thinking Orym was disappointed in him for doing what he thought was right? That was peak.

The fact they went from that to their current closeness and trust is the best part of their entire dynamic. Their relationship was hard fought and still will be. They will fight for it because they respect and care for one another deeply, and their disagreements don't change that, only improve it.

I just finished my reread of JLA: Tower of Babel and frankly, I'm surprised by the lack of Superbat fics about this plotline. I mean, it's the perfect setting for all the Superbat angst you could dream of.

How everyone keeps pointing out that Supes is the one closest to Batman, Clark emphatically referring to what happened as "your betrayal", how Bruce's files are cold and professional about everyone EXCEPT Clark (his fear of seeing him in pain), his guilt, how everyone else is loud and angry but Clark is silent and hurt, the fact Clark gave him the kryptonite in the first place. Clark having the final say and voting Bruce out of the League. Bruce KNOWING that he would do that and leaving because he didn't want to hear it.

The confrontation on Divided We Fall with all the accusations and the obvious hurt on both sides... then the agreement to reveal their identities together.

Tell me this wouldn't be an excellent break up/getting back together fic? The hurt/comfort of all times. If someone doesn't write this soon, I might have to.

still doodling btws, just very distracted by the new loom. My headcanon is that Yor just, gets knitting. Like dude it would be so fucking cute if she was taught how to knit when she was young, even better so if her mother taught her the very basics. But then war happens, parents die, she doesn't have the time or money to spend on buying yarn. But then years later, she picks it back up. Teaches Anya the basics, same as her mother once did. Maybe takes a class at a local yarn shop, gets better and better, dude she can even go and knit and hangout with the Authens. And this old craft helps her reach out and bond with more people.

And then Loid inexplicably doesn't get it. He definitely tries, but like..... he thinks he can go and like. watch tv or read something while he knits. But like he can't like, balance his attention incorrectly between the tasks and will drop stitches or add them randomly. And his perfectionist ass wants to frog everything and start again but he would literally never get anything finished. He gets an impressive 20 rows in once and realizes he added a stitch forever ago and he just decides fuck it we ball and just keeps going. Don't even ask about finishing and binding off a project, he tries once and its painfully tight, he undoes it and asks Yor to help him.

And of course Yor takes the scarf and loves it

Maybe the problem with Christian fiction is that it's non-denominational. People are just "Christian", with no effort put into showing what practicing that religion looks like for them specifically. No indication that there are other Christians who could have different beliefs. No wrestling with differing ideas and the struggle of how one should live out their Christian faith. And that makes it unrealistic and unrelatable.
