OF TOMMY.#i played pacifist but i saw how if u kill every1 n spare Papyrus Sans tells him every1 else is on a vacation bc truth would be too hard#file under: lies Gordon would tell Tommy if anything happened to Sunkist or his dad Gman#we wanna protect Tommy but on the other hand. the horrors r everywhere & Tommy go ham with a gun (he's terrified & acting on pure instinct)#(even tho Tommy has definitely faced his share of horrors in contrast to how Papyrus's loved ones try to shelter him from bloodshed)#i wanna write a paper psychoanalyzing Sans and Benrey in comparison to each other SOOOOO badly#it's been a hot minute since i last watched hlvrai (have seen it at least 4 times but not recently. did watch bbvrai live tho!)#im so extremely tired rn so i can't form proper thoughts :( but like:#they both have unfathomable otherworldly power and knowledge of their respective universes#but u wouldn't know it bc they're presented as just some chill guy who likes to make jokes and Vibe man#sike! they're a being of elderitch levels of power#they both act in accordance to game code but Sans can control parts of it (can see the timeline) while Benrey is much more subject to it#in some ways they are the antithesis of each other's motives but also contain the same vibes (all-powerful guy laidback n funny final boss)#Sans is judgment but doesn't interfere with the timeline. Benrey takes action that's “i knew this was gonna happen”#Benrey is fought as the final villain whereas Sans is arguably the final hero fight#anyways THEIR VIBES ARE BOTH SO !!!!!!!!!!!!!#idk if they'd be besties or mortal enemies#they can bond over being “unserious” (but they both take their true jobs very seriously. security guard and judgment bringer respectively)

Excluding the Stab Franchise
My thoughts below the cut !
Psycho is my best bet. He references it on the phone in the giddy way he mentions stab in the opening on the landline. He would be the type to make you watch it and then explain to you the importance of the movie / the fun facts he knows about it. He would info dump on the cinematography too. Not to mention we can assume Billy Loomis referenced this movie in Stab (and we already know my thoughts on Richie and Billy).
I added Halloween since Amber references it and I can see them both liking the movie. It’s a classic and I think Richie would be fascinated with the filming and production. I can see him bringing up the budget kinda star struck (also this is another movie shown to literally be in Stab 1!)
Friday the 13th is referenced in the car by richie when discussing the safety of the trip. “Yes, of course. And I got to make sure we don’t get sliced up by some lunatic who saw Friday the 13th and thought, “You know what? That Jason guy, he’s got some pretty solid ideas”. Obviously this could mean nothing. It’s a fun jab he threw in there for himself, taunt Sam, and for the audience to pick up on. But he references it and it is a classic slasher so I added it to the list! If you guys have more evidence why he would have it as his top movie tell to me about it!!

the knuckles show is really just a bunch of scenes cinematically set to good music with a plot loosely tying them together. and you know what? that's enough for me
#knuckles#knuckles series#I wouldn't say it's a good show and I don't mean that as a judgment#it's mostly just silly and funny and I like the music a lot#it feels like one of those projects where all the new people were asked to show what they can do#so some scenes are genuinely well-executed and there's fun ideas in there#but overall it is not polished or strictly speaking good#and that's okay too. I have watched much worse and enjoyed it#also I like that julian barratt is wearing mascara#and. everything else that's going on with that character design

every time i'm reminded that h/bomber/guy's rwby video exists i simmer
#rwby#it's just so fuckin frustrating#there aree so many legitimate criticisms you can make about rwby#but so many people- this millions of views asshole included#have based their entier judgment of the show based on the early episodes that they haven't watched in years#and primarily by the rampant hate it's consistently gotten since then#all because it isn't exactly what a bunch of people thought it would be#because it's an imperfect show made by imperfect people#the FIRST show for nearly everybody working on it initially#and it had a rough time transitioning after its creator died#as i said. real reasons to criticize rwby and especially roosterteeth.#but people very rarely ever touch on them#or are willing to admit that maybe they're wrong about something they haven't actually sat down to watch in years#or are just willing to have all of their opininos on a work defined by someone else's opinions#WAH whatever#i'm not making a clean case#people just treat rwby like it's on and funded by the disney channel or something#instead of a relatively small show with a relatively small crew

does anybody have tips on overcoming rejection sensitive dysphoria. it is so bad i cant even play games right because if the video game tells me i made a decision that was not even objectively wrong but non-optimal i freak out and close it and cant come back to it for days. this has always been an issue in my general life at large but good fuckin lord. im tired of feeling like this.
#rsd#playing bg3 has been a fucking nightmare.#its such a good game. but i nearly have a panic attack every time there are dialogue options. my heart goes crazy#i have to minimize the game and wait a couple minutes before returning#and then if its Wrong i get so upset!!! and disheartened!#on good days im able to push through and laugh it off#on bad days i have to just close the game.#this happens irl. obviously. im working on it there too#but god#theres something that feels especially fucked up about being scared of the pixelpeople in my video game.#real people are scary and judgmental. i can forgive myself for some of my feelings irl while still trying to better them.#in a fucking computer game with NO ONE watching me i just. break down. like. why do i feel that way. #I’m such a bad person#so most days I use the gym at my university#rather than the one in my apartment building#because it’s bigger and better equipped#depending upon the time of day you go#the clientele can skew pretty elderly#(which is great. people of all ages should totally feel comfortable working out)#I think it’s mostly retired professors and that sort of thing#picture a lot of older/old men strolling on a treadmill in chinos and a sweater and you’ve got the picture#anyway#the way the treadmills are positioned#you can see pretty easily what the person next to you is watching#if they have their phone on the holder#well today when I was running the guy walking on the treadmill next to me (probably in his 70s) kept staring at me#I couldn’t figure out why#and then I realized he was glancing between my phone and me#(I’m in my early 20s and look like a first year undergrad)#because I was watching an old Dave Brubeck performance#I don’t think he was trying to be judgmental or anything he was just confused#but I’m used to getting confused looks at jazz clubs and baroque concerts and stuff#(I once had a man tell me at a Gilad Atmoz show in London. ‘I would have invited you to sit with me b/c you were all alone. but I thought#you were probably waiting for your dad or your boyfriend.’)#so I decided to mess with him a little#and started going backwards in time/obscurity with what I was watching/listening to#until I had 3 miles and was ready to get off and I was watching Baby Dodds drumming in the 1920s#the guy looked like his eyes were going to fall out of his head#gonna say the life lesson here is that I shouldn’t be allowed around the public in any capacity#not the stones#me stuff

#btw. if you even care. much in the same way i'm both a garth-coded kevin girl and a kevin-coded garth girl#i'm both a niles-coded daphne girl and a daphne-coded niles girl#frasier is a good show though i'm glad i decided to watch it while bored on my last flight#despite being made in the 90s it largely holds up well and even the parts that don't hold up can be reinterpreted in a modern context#for example in an episode i watched tonight frasier advised a listener on eating disorders#and resisting the urge to purge in order to 'fit into that evening gown' and the punchline was that the caller was a man named steve#but watching it now i'm just like awww frasier was so nice for non-judgmentally counseling this drag queen or genderfluid person <333#also i'm. drunk. off 1 1/2 rum and cokes. whoops. my tolerance is a joke thank you meds + not having a social life

i always feel bad whenever i can't stand someone bc of their voice bc like unless you're putting it on you can't change but some people just piss me off when i hear them sorry 😭
