Golly gosh, my sweet pile number 1’s, I must tell you the cards I got for this.

We’re a little bit hectic over here if you can’t already tell. I wouldn’t say this is anything to worry about however.

Starting off! I feel that your physical appearance is going to change a lot during this era of your life, whether that be you go through a bunch of phases, try new things, receive procedures etc. I feel that a lot of you may feel stagnant in how you look during this time, you may find that you’re right on the cusp of looking how you want, but are struggling to get there. Some of you may begin to notice features of your own mother poking through, others may start to look more mature and possibly take on a more maternal appearance — this could be seen in having a little more maturity to your body perhaps after childbirth, or even just beginning to put your appearance on the back burner if you have kids that must take the forefront of your mind.

I have a feeling that a lot of you will go through a major glow up around this time, which is great, however! The motivation will arise around some sort of betrayal or major shake up like heartbreak, whatever it is will instantly get you feeling like you need to take more care of yourself, and becoming much brighter and just looking happier because of it.

The change in your appearance during this time will certainly mark a new beginning and major change in your life, it will really be that first step to a fresh start.

You may begin taking more care of your body, and specially your skin, perhaps spending more money on the highest review products, or just even investing in some long term serums that you know work wonders for your skin. (Please be careful with how much you spend on this stuff lol, you can definitely find cheaper stuff with amazing properties if you look hard enough) This could also imply that many of you will begin working out and eating healthier around this time as well, ensuring that your self care is the top of your priorities.

And finally, our lovers. Now I would say this will bring a new love opportunity to you, but when I first thought this card was present, it was actually the king of wands that caught my eye in the middle of the deck. You’re going to love yourself a lot more, love looking at yourself in the mirror, and just overall feeling more like yourself. You will love who you have become. Hello my pile number 2’s, how’s it going? Starting off strong we already have the two of cups, so I’m sure this appearance will be highly negated by the status of your relationships, specially those that we deem romantic. I’m seeing that during this time you are trying different things and may even be getting advice from family and friends about what to wear or what things to CONSCIOUSLY consume — I cannot stress it enough that money is big talk here, I need you to be very aware on what you’re spending your coins for, I wouldn’t recommend any expensive surgeries that could end up going wrong, specially lip injections/filler.

Anywho! You could be being very intentional about the way you appear, perhaps with ensuring you do enough research into new products before purchasing them, or even investing in a personal dermatologist, colour coordinator, personal trainer etc — it’s all very well thought out.

Your glow up, if there is one, may be motivated by some sort of competition, so perhaps just ensure you don’t get too deep into all of that. Knight of pentacles appears twice here, so I’m definitely getting the message that you will be investing a lot of time and effort into your appearance, liking the way you look could be a long time coming.

God damn it, I flipped the deck for more info and we got the tower. Ok! Dramatic changes. PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH PROCEDURES!!! I really feel like this is something I need to say with all seriousness. You go for lip filler, you’re coming out with sausages glued to the absence of your lips, also heavy chance you can get scammed when trying to get something done. I would absolutely not recommend any plastic surgery of that kind — however you can get away with waxing (I’m specially getting your bikini line lmao), eyebrows threaded, hair done professionally, professional makeup, nails etc — that’s all fine, but I’m getting a really big feeling to tell you to avoid any plastic surgery, specially if you’re from the UK.

I’m being told you need to embrace your natural features, things that you’ve hidden before can be very alluring when you learn how to harness them. A lot of you may look young for you age, honestly embrace it, you’re going to look twenty at fifty, and the rest of the world will sag, so good on you!

Physical features: doe eyes/very loving expressions, unconventional features that make people look twice (perhaps drawing on moles, or not covering up already existing ones), you could thrift most of your clothes (and get really good at it), may lean into more blues for colours, spending a fair bit money on accessories or hair/makeup etc, whimsical clothes, wearing reds/red lipstick, leaning more into the traditional looks from your culture.

Hello my wonderful pile number 3’s! Ok firstly, this is YOUR time for real, if you grew up without being conventionally attractive, this is your justice coming straight in and giving you that unthinkable glow up. Now this won’t be entirely easy, you will have to put in a fair amount of effort to receive this effortless look, which is fairly ironic given the name. Anyways, I’m seeing the need to take control and allow yourself to focus on your own appearance, people may tell you “looks aren’t everything” or “personality matters the most,” and while they are not far off, it’s not hard to assume they grew up with the privilege you yourself may have not been lucky enough to hold badge of. As it always goes, money is of the essence here, and you may need to spend a fair amount to get that look you desire — obviously do it with a conscious consumer mindset, and don’t go overboard.

I’m seeing that you may join a community of sorts, like a subreddit with the best tips, or perhaps confide in a super cool witch that makes bank off people requesting beauty spells — something of the sort anyways. The people you meet through this community, whatever it is, will help guide you to harnessing your best potential. Now I will say that you may meet some that are a little misguided or too deep into it all, so be aware of what you consume and who you listen to, ensure it’s all ethical and worth your while.

Some of you may actually have to have a glow up for work, like it could be something so minute like having to do something nice with your hair, or having to wear a specific uniform that will just make it all pop and you will receive an abundance of compliments and attention. I’m also getting the message that you could have a new job with/or new uniform that like lowkey makes your eyes pop and you have that moment of realisation to what colours work the best for you.

My main message however is to make sure you don’t lose yourself in echo chambers that end up spewing shit about lookmaxxing or some weird ass phrenology. Like please be aware lol, I’m sure you’ll be fine.

What are your thoughts on commenting with a goal to motivate author to write more?

I know there are not thought-crimes but I'm kinda feeling unsure about myself rn. There is a fic that I really liked and I think about rereading it. It also wasn't updated in quite some time and I know that generally authors are often motivated by comments

I'm thinking about making comments as I reread and the put them into the chapters. The thing is, my biggest motivation with it is to encourage author to write more and it makes me feel, idk, slimy? Like, they wouldn't know that that's why I commented and they would be just normal comments (+ I never ever even put anything vagueing about updates like "I can't wait to see how it will turn out!" or something, so I'd certainly not be pushy about it) but still I feel bad like I'm manipulating the author :/

So, yeah. Basically, do feel like underlying motivations matter if there is no discernible difference between the comments?

If you do a good thing for a selfish reason, is the thing still good?

From that author's perspective, I'd say probably.

If I received a slew of comments on one of my fics, I'd be elated. Depending on how many spoons I had, I'd even reply to them all.

It might or might not motivate me to continue writing, though. If I don't have an idea for where to go next then receiving a comment likely won't get me past that block.

As long as you're content with just brightening someone's day without a guarantee that it'll get you what you want in the end, then I say have at it. To paraphrase a post I saw on my dash recently, a rich man who builds an orphanage because of his own selfish reasons has still given orphans a place to go.

That's how I see it, but let's see what the rest of the blog thinks.

I have this idea bouncing around in my head where after Jason dies people come up with like shit ton of conspiracies and one of the biggest ones is that Dick had something to do with his death. Like Dick was just mysteriously gone with a flimsy alibi when everything went down. He missed the funeral. He was never adopted and was probably jealous of Jason. There’s lots of motive there.

Anyways, people start sending hate mail and death threats to Dick, because they’re convinced that he helped get Jason killed. Dick doesn’t say anything about it at first because he feels guilty about not being there for Jason, and he doesn’t want to create a huge fuss or anything. Eventually he gets used to it and forgets to bring it up to anyone. But then one day, when Jason has already been back in the fam for a few years, Dick lets it slip that he still gets hate mail for Jason’s death.

And Jason supremely loses his shit. He starts tracking these people down. Not as Red Hood, though, as buff-ghost-Jason Todd seeking revenge for people who hurt his brother. At first, Jason manages to keep it off the Batfam’s radar. But then more and more reports start popping up about Jason Todd’s hulk of a ghost beating up people who are mean to Dick. Now everyone is like “wtf??” and they’re trying to figure out if the best course of action is to announce Jason’s alive or if they keep pretending he’s dead.

Omg I could see it becoming a Gotham online conspiracy theory that doesn’t actually have all that many people who believe it, but it’s just enough who do for them to consistently harass Dick. And he’s had such a falling out with Bruce over the way everything with Jason was handled that he has no one who can help him with it, no one to turn to. Besides, maybe it was his fault. He should’ve done a better job protecting Jason. He should’ve been there. This is his penance for being a terrible brother.

Then the hallucinations start, and he has this ghostly version of his brother telling him he deserves it and his death is all his fault and he deserves every nasty word and threat that gets sent to him. And Dick believes. He believes all of it.

It doesn’t matter that Jason comes back a couple years later. It doesn’t matter that he and Jason become close again. It was still his fault. He still deserves it.

Then Jason is at Dick’s apartment one night, waiting for him to get back from patrol because he has a case he wants to discuss with him, and he stumbles across a box Dick left out. It’s overflowing with letters and flash drives, and when Jason opens it, he feels like he just opened Pandora’s Box.

Because it’s all hate mail. Death threats. Accusations. That Dick was responsible for his death. Some of them are dated back as far as the weeks following his funeral.

And Jason has since learned why Dick wasn’t at his funeral, he’s learned about the blowout fight Dick and Bruce had over it when Dick got back from space to find his little brother dead and buried.

There’s a letter at the top dated just yesterday. Dick got it in the mail today. He read it before he went on patrol.

And Jason breaks. Because his brother has been dealing with this for years, and no one ever told him. Jason has been back for years, unable to announce that he’s still alive to the general public (so Bruce says).

Jason gets together with Tim and Damian to come up with a plan. First, they scare the shit out of all these people trying to blame Dick for Jason’s death. Then they shut down all the Reddit threads and comment boards and discussion rooms on the internet that talk about it.

Then they convince Bruce to announce that Jason is still alive. They announce that the body had been difficult to identify, but it wasn’t actually Jason they found those years ago. Jason had been kidnapped and held hostage, they found him not long after he’d been pronounced dead, but they kept up the ruse because there had been death threats against him or something and it was a security thing idk.

And Jason publicly condemns everyone who ever accused his brother of killing him.

That's so true. I'm just going to say more things about the different sentences you said because I want to and some people need to read this.

I.

So the first thing, methods are tools to HELP, not to MAKE you shift. People need to stop saying or IMPLYING you need one to shift. It happens more than people think, even if it's not directly said.

Also, people need to answer the people who ask "which methods..." that the methods are not needed. Shifters are thinking more about the methods than the shift itself.

II.

Caring about what people do in their own DRs is completely stupid. I don't care what people do or don't do in their drs (like you said, except if you kill or hurt people.) And everyone should be the same, because why care about other people's lives? They are not hurting anyone (at least I hope.) So let them live, bro.

And judging people because they DON'T script out imperfections is the same as caring about what people do in their DRs and it's the dumbest thing ever. I think imperfections make it more normal, y'know? Yes, we can live in the perfect world everyone wants but, we also need imperfections/problems too.

I'm shifting to MHA, so if there's no problem, heroes don't exist.

Or for someone who shifts in Marvel or another DR which we NEED problems to live what we want to live.

Having a bit of action makes it more fun, more thrilling. So judging people because they don't script out thing, this is low.

If you want to shift to a perfect world without flaws to not have any problems DO IT. You're so right about that. But yeah, don't judge the one who don't.

About Kill DRs, they are genuinely terrifying, because you don't kill here but you CAN kill in another reality? You're just a psychopath who wants to have the right to act on their urge without repercussions. If you can kill in another reality, you can do it here too, and this is not something you can debate on.

V.

I don't have much to say about this one because, yes, shifting is scientific. And like you said it got explained multiple times. For the people who think the opposite, I invite you to do your research, or ask at least someone who knows or has read the scientific evidence what the explanations are. (Don't ask me, I'm still waiting for the motivation to continue reading, I swear.)

Also, shifting has existed since forever. Experiences were made since 1983/and before. People in the past talked about it way before everything, but just they didn't use the term shift.

Because, no, shifting is not called shifting reality. People just started calling it that way. So don't stress if you don't say "I'm shifting." Or anything.

Here, for y'all.

The over-script or don't script at all. Again, minding other people's lives.

Who cares if they over-script or don't script? Is it going to kill you? To prevent you from shifting? No, so why judging about something so insignificant.

All you want is to force people to do what you think IS the right thing to do. But not everyone works the same

People prefer to over-script to be sure they have everything. And some don't script because it's not necessary and prefer doing other stuff than scripting. You can't just judge or force someone to think like you do or do what you do.

VIII.

The cheating problem, SO MANY people are fighting about this its crazy. For the shifter, you go to ANOTHER reality, even if you have another partner in here doesn't mean you're cheating because you're not dating the person you date here. So if you don't date this person, there's no cheating.

Of course, it's okay to question it. It important. But your feelings are different from one reality to another. And it's important to understand that.

For the PARTNER, please. You're jealous of a person who's not even in your reality.

I can understand why you guys feel like that, but you guys probably do the same or would do the same (if not a shifter.)

Your partner doesn't HAVE to date you in every reality. It doesn't mean they don't love you in this one, they do. But not in another one.

I have literally nothing to say, just that there's no original reality if we shift every everytime. We just shift in a reality very similar to the other that it's unnoticeable.

It's funny that she's being so twee about this whole thing. Describing her attempted assassination as a caper makes it feel like a Nancy Drew mystery - and honestly, if Jane's going to treat Sburb's intrigue as if she's the protagonist of a detective story, I'm all for it.

I mean, we need this sort of thinking, don't we? We need someone to absorb the facts of the case, detect their way to the culprit (English), and discern means, motive and opportunity. With Jane spearheading this 'investigation', we might finally trace things back to the ultimate source of all our problems.

Writing advice from a 17 year old caffeine-dependent ADHDer who has been writing ever since he could hold a pencil:

First and foremost, write that outline. Figure out exactly what you're going to do with your story before you do anything else. Write down all the important plot points first, then expand on them as needed. Write your main characters (at least their basic traits), do some worldbuilding, and once you have that foundation, THEN start writing the actual scenes.

Talk to people about your stories, especially if you're in a group with other storytellers. This gives you the opportunity to hear how others process and view your work, which can help a lot with your confidence in your writing, your motivation to write, and your own understanding of your writing. You can also request a specific type of feedback (questions, constructive criticism, compliments, blunt criticism, etc.) so you get responses that will actually help you.

DO NOT USE AI FOR WRITING NO MATTER WHAT. "But I just use it for-" I DO NOT CARE, YOU ARE STILL USING A BRAIN-EATING, CREATIVITY-KILLING MACHINE THAT WILL ONLY HARM YOUR WRITING. I used to use AI and it stunted my growth as a writer so greatly that I had to commit myself to never using it again, and I know that sounds scary for those of you still using it, but it will have to happen eventually if you want to grow as a writer. It will not do you any good, no matter what you use it for. "But it makes it easy for me to make stories!" Write more oneshots. Write outlines. Write short stories. Fucking daydream at least. "But I use it to proofread!" Proofread your own damn work. It's not hard, and it's way better for your mind and the story itself. "But—" DO IT YOURSELF OR ASK A FRIEND, A HUMAN BEING, TO HELP YOU. IT NEEDS TO BE DONE BY A HUMAN OR IT WILL BE STRAIGHT ASS. THAT IS NOT UP FOR DEBATE. I hope I drilled that in well enough.

I get it, sometimes you're low on energy, so you need easy ways to develop your story. If you don't know how to do that without AI, because you CANNOT keep sucking robot dick for the sake of instant gratification, here are some easy ones (depending on your skillset): draw your characters and settings, write fake text conversations between characters, use picrew to make your characters, make Pinterest mood boards, or just turn off your phone and daydream about your story! There are a million ways to work on a story without actually writing it, so don't feel too bad if you only have the energy to plan out that one scene in your head instead of writing it. And who knows, maybe doing these little things will actually give you the motivation you needed to write.

Write when you feel big emotions, if you can. You'll pour your heart and soul into your work, and not only will that benefit your writing, but it will also benefit you by helping you process your emotions in a healthy manner.

Finally, give your brain lots of good associations with writing! Have your favourite tea with you and your favourite blanket around your shoulders while you write, or have your favourite instrumentals in the background while sitting in your favourite lighting, or pretend to be a renaissance scholar with a candle and a nice outfit while you write if that's what you need. Make it fun for yourself so your brain will get excited about writing, even if you only do this sometimes!

The most important advice I can give is just. keep on writing. Your stories are a blessing. Even if people criticise your work, even if you feel completely unmotivated, even if you feel like you're not good at it, keep writing for as long as it brings you joy, and share it when you can, because it will bring so many other people joy too, more than you can ever know.

You never really knew what love was until you met jake.

Love to you was a silly concept that you had always shrugged off.

Growing up you've always wanted your family to be proud of you so you always set boys aside and focused on work just like you always have.

Through your years in high school you watched as you friends slowly became lovers for people who they were dating, and you never once thought about what it would be like to have something like that for yourself until one person caught your eye.

Ever since you started school you've worked on my studies and never really done anything in my life. You knew that if you wanted to make your daily proud you would have to join an ivy league and get a job with a good paying salary.

Eventually you started high school, and you thought that it would be the same thing as every other grade that you were in. 

You were in all AP classes as a freshman which is something nobody really does because they like to live their lives and do things outside of school, but not you.  If you wanted to be successful for the future, you had to make sure that all 4 years of high school look good on your college resume.

“Y/N wake up so you can start getting ready or you're going to be late”!  Mother always loves screaming at me to wake up. It's my personal alarm clock.  

“Okkk”!  You scream back to let her know that I'm really awake. My mother knows that I want to be on time for school every day, so I am actually really grateful for her when it comes to waking me up and helping me with things.

You ended up getting out of bed and walked to your bathroom to find out your twin brother Sunghoon was already in there singing a song in the shower.  And since you didn't want to go downstairs to go to the bathroom you just ended up going back into your bedroom to get dressed.

Luckily there were no uniforms for the high school, so you decided to wear a white pleated skirt and a knitted sweater that was flowy, so it doesn't make you hot.

Because you knew that Sunghoon would take forever in the bathroom you decided to just skip washing your face because you didn't want to risk losing time and being late to school.

This was not an intentional shift, before sleep I had done my shifting meditation and affirmed shifting is easy and effortless and fell asleep in the middle of it. Then I shifted during the night it seems.

I thought it was a dream first when I got back actually, but here is why I believe it was a shift.

1. The timeline in that reality and its events were linear, they progressed linearly and according to a consistent plot line.

2. I became semi aware at some stage that I did not belong to that reality, but since I was not assuming I can shift at that stage, I stayed stuck trying to get out of there.

3. Everyone had the same anatomy as here, clocks and time existed and it was also consistently linear with a linear progression.

5. The way I shifted back to this reality also makes me think it was a shift, not dream. You can see it at the end of my shifting story.

But then came the tragedy…this is where my previous trigger warnings apply.

So one day, after school we went to the same shop me and my friend and got snacks. We were laughing on the way to my car, for a split second I look back at some people we walked by and that’s when I see some explosion in the distance. Some building blew up, we run to the car because my only thoughts now are to save her and myself. To get out of here and be safe. It is horrible because the fire gets so many people, I see it and my whole body is screaming “get you and her to safety now!!”. I still remember my feeling of panic as we get in, I start the car but the fire had spread so fast I couldn’t drive anywhere. Some roads were too small/not meant for cars etc.

There is absolute chaos outside, people dying etc. I try to make a run for it and drive through the fire, I guess I crashed the car and pass out because by the time I wake up my friend is gone and I am in a mental haze. I don’t know where she left, if someone dragged her out of the car or anything because my car doesn’t work anymore and I can’t find my phone to check the time.

At that point, I feel like shit. I still feel like crying when I remember this, I remember my pain in that moment because this friend of mine means the absolute world to me. I actually lost her in that reality, I am just glad I am back here where I have her in my life.

I keep looking, I can’t find her anywhere. I am so motivated on finding her, she is my absolute best friend and I felt I couldn’t leave this city without her. When I woke up from that car crash, the fire was less intense but things were still burning. The city was destroyed, the sun was scorching hot and people weren’t outside. Everything was destroyed. I was so freaking scared, I still feel scared when I think back. I felt so powerless.

I keep walking, for a few days or what seems like it, and I find this huge building which was probably a hotel of some kind or multi purpose building. It had all these different areas, freezer room, hotel or restaurant kitchen, boiler rooms, lots of stairs etc. I actually end up stuck there. For a very long time, I try to get out since the door I came through locked itself, I can’t even find a window and the rooms I find are filled with zombies or humans in a zombie state. The slightest movement set them off. This was so terrifying to me, I was scared and suicidal at this point.

I kept walking around, looking for my friend and a way out of that building. The structure of the building was the same, the rooms were the same which is also why I don’t believe this was a dream. I was just not full on aware at that point.

When I became too suicidal, I started looking for something to end it with. I needed to get away, that world had no hope. But in that moment, suddenly I become aware and waves of this reality wash over me. I was in the stairs, I remember this moment SOOO intensely and that’s when I suddenly go “wait a minute, I am CR name, I am a reality shifter and I shift instantly. This isn’t my chosen CR, I have shifted here. I want to go back this instant” and I instantly open my eyes here.

This happened a few days ago, I have been devastated ever since if I am being honest. The weight of that world, how real everything was and how intensely I felt everything. It was a real world, I was suicidal there for a while trying to get out and I just feel that sadness looming.

Yes, Stu had an obsessive admiration towards Billy (though' he has been a very obsessive person in general), after all, he was a "figure" he craved to be, and who knew how fragile and broken he is. Billy served all of these, so Stu did everything to get more by obeyed him.

As for the "fanfiction" part of your question, @ladytiger, I mainly do longer "roleplays" over fanfiction writing, although I might get into it later on. I do find joy in writing fanfictions, but for me it is important to try and deliver characters as "relaistic", "canon-like" and down on earth as possible.
