;KPOP DEMON HUNTERS ABBY - Relationship Headcanons

Compilation of headcanons about Abby (Abs Saja) in a romantic relationship.

YOUUUU KNOW ITTTTT OF COURSE THIS IS MY BIAAAAAS. I love getting into new things because I have so many ideas so many things to overthink and analyze about new blorbo, ougghhhh

since all the other Saja Boys that aren't Jinu get minimal screentime, it's pretty much free real estate for headcanons. dont look at me, i love making demon guys a little feral, as a treat for us monster freaks

When it comes to the Saja Boys and the concept of dating, I do think that if their idol careers lasted more than two songs released back to back, they would pull off some publicity stunts involving fake dating and so on--think of the Miromabby or Zoeystery shenanigans from the movie. Because of their nature as demons, I can't see them choosing to date someone so casually.

In my previous post with general headcanons for the entire group, I mentioned how the other four aside from Jinu might also have ulterior motives to help him and join the band, which adds to the pile of reasons they wouldn't lead any conventional lives on the surface, let alone find a partner.

But that's not to say that they're entirely closed off to the possibility of dating. There's just a lot to navigate first. Each has their own baggage to deal with.

When it comes to pretending to date someone as a publicity stunt, it's safe to say they're all good at it; it's part of the game, after all. They're very good at pretending to be a Kpop boyband already. But Abby specifically strikes me as one of the very few who might end up reconsidering his feelings on the matter, or at the very least, come to genuinely enjoy the illusion of a relationship. Jinu is too good at playing the game, only to pull the rug from under his partner's feet (RIP Rumi), Romance has (ironically) too many layers and too much baggage involving relationships to truly commit, and then Mystery and Baby are much too distant or guarded to even consider people out of the group.

While Romance and Abby have been shown to have some interest in Mira, I do like to think there is an important difference between the two of them when it comes to love--Romance plays the romantic and heartfelt lovestruck role as his namesake implies, but it is all part of an aesthetic and a fleeting hobby he indulges in. It's all fun and games, simply because he never had the intention of committing in the first place, a fun irony in which the embodiment of romance cannot really find love.

On the other hand, Abby lives by much more simpler rules: if it feels good, why stop or avoid it?

It's easy to portray him as a himbo, or someone who struggles to be taken seriously specifically because of how reductive his role in the boyband may be (only offering good looks and muscles, all brawn and no brain, etc) but I like to overthink things, and instead portray him as someone who is just direct when it comes about the things he wants or likes. While others take extra steps to get what they want, or pull the most insane mental gymnastics to justify their actions, Abby's approach is always the fastest and most straightforward.

Jinu will create a boyband to rival Huntrix and then almost fall in love with their leader only to betray her in the end and get his wish instead of going to therapy, but Abby? If he wanted to get his memories erased, he'd just give himself a concussion every so often or seek a spell that could do that. Easy.

I like to think this also plays into how he became a demon, heeding Gwi-ma's call in those extreme and rare occasions he couldn't just do as he pleased or get his way through sheer determination or perseverance, until it became the norm rather than the exception, and thus his shame is related to that powerlessness and dependence on the power Gwi-ma offers.

But to tie it back to relationships, this is all a lot of text to say that Abby would be the perfect Saja to get into a classic fake dating relationship 130k words slowburn fanfic scenario with, the type in which the lines between fake and real get blurry really fast. His demonic traits or emotional baggage don't keep him from forming meaningful relationships like others, but I do think that decades (maybe even centuries like Jinu) of living as a demon have definitely altered all of the Saja Boys' perception on how to properly interact with others.

When Abby catches feelings, he remains just as flirty, fun, silly and high energy, but there is a wild edge to his words that spells out trouble--not necessarily in any negative way, more so like the feeling of knowing you're being roped into shenanigans that none of your friends would agree with, the promise of fun danger, all while knowing you're in safe hands because the man leading you into the lion's den won't let anything happen to you.

I don't think he puts you in danger on purpose or with malicious intent, that's something Mystery or Baby would do. In Abby's case it's more like he gets caught up on these positive feelings you bring him that he ... forgets he's meant to put up a perfect boyband front. That's it. He gets swept up in the moment so easily, he just forgets he's in the human world.

His smiles are sharper, with pointy fangs you swear you have never seen him have. His hugs are a bit more suffocating, his grip on you when he leads you around town is somewhat erratic and manic, and you swear you can hear a slight distortion in his laugh, as if his voice wasn't human at all. He may forget that you need to sleep and show up at ungodly hours, looking frenzied and excited to take you out for a spin. Contrary to popular belief, no, he does not growl or get into fights with anyone who is remotely interested in you--but he DOES ask you directly if you'd like him to fight whoever tries to hit on you, literally asks if you'd be into that sort of thing of seeing him beat up others for your attention. He can do it. Humans are much more weaker. Just give him the sign. Do you want to see him beat up demons instead? Sure. He can do that too. He will look very good and flex his arms while doing it, just for you.

This is basically Abby in his honeymoon era--a demon trying to remember how to balance demonic instincts and habits built up over centuries against what he vaguely remembers as the conventional way to court someone. If you mix this with the fact that demons like the Saja Boys are basically doomed to relive their worst memories and feelings for all eternity as Gwi-ma's thralls, then you might understand why Abby gets a little too drunk on the butterflies and good feelings you awaken in him.

I think he's also the least troubled by the idea of his crush or partner finding out he's a demon. Surely, if you like hanging out with him, something so small shouldn't be a problem, right? It's not a problem for him, after all. You're absolutely cooked if he finds out you're into the demon aspect, though--Abby will be absolutely shameless, using this to his advantage whenever he wants to convince you indulge him or do whatever he wants. Abby may not have Baby's puppy eyes, but he keeps track of all the things you like about him, just in case.

When it comes to telling you about his past before becoming a demon, there might be some reluctance out of shame. The rest of the Saja Boys are allowed to know since they're all pretty much on the same boat as him, but what about you? What if you decide he's not the one for you based on something that happened so long ago? I can see Abby blurting out the events that led him to become a demon in the heat of the moment, during an argument or something, if only as a way to get you to stop arguing with him.

On a less intense note, I do agree that he's the clingiest Saja Boy, at least physically; Abby has to have a hand on you at all times, no matter how. Either with an arm around you, leaning on your shoulder or just fully leaning his entire weight on you, sliding his hand in the back pocket of your pants while you walk, resting his chin on the top of your head, etc.

This guy does not care about personal space. Or rather, he cares about getting rid of it altogether. Most likely to kabedon you, at first for fun to see your reaction, and once he settles into the relationship as a way to get a moment of your undivided attention whenever he feels like. He makes zero attempts at hiding your relationship once he's caught genuine feelings, and even gloats to his band members about it.

Most likely to make you sit on his lap even if there's other seats available because he thinks it's extremely endearing. Most likely to give you his clothes to wear, except he wears extra small shirts to emphasize his muscles, so he doesn't get to enjoy the view of his partner in an oversized shirt or sweater because he might as well be wearing crop tops at this point. This is easily remedied by just buying an extra large pair, so you can at least have matching outfits.

One thing that will never change regardless of the stage of your relationship with Abby is the insane amount of shirtless selfies he sends you throughout the day. You guys could spend 20 years married and he'd still manage to sneak in a shirtless bathroom selfie.

There's so fucking many. You can't even pull the "When he's copying your snaps so you pull this move" meme because he already sends you dozens of pictures of him flexing his biceps. These range from tasteful shirtless pictures as a "pick me up" for you, to genuine fun selfies of him going about his day but he somehow manages to always have his shirt open, to extreme levels of fuckboy vibes manufactured to deal extra damage to any fans in the vicinity.

I also like the dumb idea that, at some point, you just start playing tic tac toe with his abs whenever you receive a picture of them, and he thinks it's so fucking funny he always plays along. So your camera roll is 50 selfies and 20 versions of the same selfie of his abs because you keep drawing and playing tic tac toe on them with him. While others think his focus on his looks might be an indicator of low self-esteem or compensation for any other insecurities, Abby is actually rather confident. He thinks it's hilarious if you draw funny smiley faces on any pictures of his abs, or joke about how conceited he seem to be.

Another fun headcanon I have is that he's the lead dancer, and thus tries to get you to dance some of the Saja Boys choreographies from time to time, since he came up with them himself. The fans love to see these videos of you two practicing Soda Pop and trying to mess each other's rhythm up for fun.

the reason TME trans people are such a predominant topic among transfeminists is because theyre the only group for whom the existence of a community-wide issue of transmisogyny is overwhelmingly denied

it is understood by all except the most bare-faced bigoted reactionaries that cis people stand to gain from the oppression of trans women, their interests in perpetuating transmisogyny are unquestioned

but it is with TME trans people we are told we must have community, that trans liberation is always a rising tide, and it must surely be impossible for them to further their own interests at the expense of ours

i can only speak to my experience, but i have gone through years of heartbreak over the fact that so much of the trans community benefits from making itself unsafe to me and other girls like me, i would love to share community with TME trans people

the few i have met that recognize the privilege they have over trans women have been wonderful and deeply fulfilling relationships, and it does far more to sow division to claim this danger and privilege doesnt exist than to call attention to it

so basically you cant create a parallel to mycorrhizae with animals because the genetic underpinnings are so fundamental and load-bearing, its not a simple matter of inserting this or that gene, it's like. it's incomprehensible how much of what plants are is fundamentally connected to what fungi are. im not prepared to tackle that with scifi its so huge

so instead you would have to adapt a parasitic fungus to infect the host without causing widespread immune response, inflammation, and horrible side effects leading to deterioration and death, but also without being outright destroyed by the immune system.

mammalian cells are super intolerant of non-self stuff so you'd have to handwave that away with scifi bullshit, but you'd need to have like, bacteria that become endosymbiotic within the cells that prevent colonization of the wrong cells, but then you'd have to make sure the endosymbiosis "takes" within every cell, which...jesus

okay a more plausible idea might be that the fungus bones infection is a one-time thing where the fungi deposit the fibers/materials that are integrated with the bone and then are killed off. you'd have to suppress his immune system temporarily and make sure the infection doesn't kill him. if we go with the "it's eating his bone marrow" idea, he needs bone marrow transplants and might be permanently immunosuppressed and/or need periodic blood transfusions after.

it would also cause a ton of problems if the fungi spread to places they weren't supposed to during that infection process and ended up like. cementing his joints together or something.

dont genetically engineer fungus to eat your bone marrow its not a good idea

further on the character who gets Tortured In the Evil Science Facility. they basically took samples of his tissues, genetically altered them, grew organs and muscle fibers and stuff from the genetically altered cells, and re-implanted the genetically altered organs and tissues into him

That's one part, but I also think he has implants of super-strong materials in his bones and around his ribcage and spine to make him harder to kill or incapacitate. the metal bolts protruding through the skin are part of this

probably some kind of composite of metal and super-strong biomaterial that can adapt

If he breaks a bone the biomaterial can absorb the shock and fix the fragments in place so he can keep going

there are all kinds of materials that exist in nature that could be used to help develop a material that could be implanted into a fighter's body to make them superhuman. it could even be coded into his genes so he produces it naturally.

I also want to do something with endosymbiotic organisms. Plants have symbionts that live inside them and enhance their limits for survival. In a sci-fi story, what if endosymbiosis could enhance humans?

The symbiont could be a fungus or bacteria or something else, it could live in any tissue of the body and enhance a specific function.

A symbiont could help him to heal faster, cause resistance to chemical buildup in tissues so he can do things like dive deeper in water, go without oxygen longer, or exert muscles for longer, resist extremes of heat or cold

Now, the fun part: all of these things will be painful and horrifying to install and maintain, and cause unintended effects on his body that will be painful and horrifying to treat

oh i would ABSOLUTELY love to elaborate:

first of all, i love to think about jun-ho seeing all the things he wishes in-ho was in gi-hun. someone who took a stance against the games, rather than choosing to run them. this fills jun-ho with some messy unhappy feelings about his brother that he'd rather not unpack, but unfortunately it's kind of intertwined with his relationship with gi-hun so sometimes i think it itches at the back of his brain

secondly, jun-ho struggles big time with an unhealthy dependence on gi-hun. it would play a biggg role in he and gi-hun's relationship. he's addicted to gi-hun i'm ngl. while he does have a genuine connection to gi-hun, and does genuinely love him, there are some other factors at play that should be addressed but Aren't. it leads to jun-ho crossing emotional boundaries that gi-hun has a lot of the time

i also think that the fact that this relationship is inherently just not built to last with the foundation its laid upon is something that haunts jun-ho. it gnaws at his brain and i think is another thing that pushes him to be so forward with gi-hun. whether he's trying to make the most of his short time with gi-hun, or is actively ignoring the train hurtling down the tracks toward them, is entirely up to you

and finally: the whole lying about in-ho thing has got to be putting some kind of weight on his psyche. he's doing things to make up for a lie that gi-hun isn't even aware is a lie. silent apologies in every kiss and touch and whatnot

as for shockwave, it has definitely occurred to soundwave to ask him for guidance with all the scientific lunacy going down, but in the end the two of them are too bitterly at odds to ever see eye to eye. shockwave doesn’t see the logic behind what they’re trying to do, and soundwave refuses to let anyone else have a hand in his work when he and frenzy have hinged so much on it. it is simply too personal, you see, and he will never trust his boys around someone who has no concept of love.

janitor yuu au! kalim who is finally able to travel back home for the holidays since he wasn't able to during winter break due to... circumstances quite literally out of his control. jamil is also with him and regardless of the twos still rocky relationship, they're both wiling to have some kind of truce while visiting family.

and now kalim finds himself at a loss as everything he's so used to doing for himself is now being done on his behalf. instead of the same few outfits to rotate through, now he has servants waiting at his beck and call to garb him in a brand new outfit every day, each more luxurious then the next. food is now brought to him, fresh and warm and spiced to perfection but he feels selfish now to admit he misses the way you cooked, with the slightly burned ends and the faint taste of plastic from the tupperware. he misses the familiar fabric of his now worn out cardigan. the close weaving had begun to separate and he had just started being able to fit his fingers through the yarn and it wrapped around his fingers so securely it felt like a warm hug.

he felt selfish here, laying on his fancy bed with the canopy and thick comforter, pillows galore, because despite being back in luxury, he missed the familiarity of the ramshackle dorm and the janitor and grim. he missed having choices. he missed having control.

jamil finds him sneaking out in the middle of the night and he reluctantly follows, his footsteps light as the two of them made their way to the kitchen.

everything was quiet now, the servants having been long dismissed, and kalim felt himself let out a sigh of relief. nobody was there to stop him. with an almost excited pep to his step, he made his way in to the heavily stocked pantry and began his search. he felt bad, but the food that was given to him for dinner was too rich, it made his stomach hurt, and he found that his palette wasn't as fond of fancier food now that he's had the simpler things.

"you're not going to find anything like what the janitor has stored away in ramshackle if that's what you're looking for."

the sound of jamil's voice startled kalim enough that he slammed his head against a shelf. his hands immediately flew up to cradle his skull and he let out a sharp whine. he looked up at jamil with tears in his eyes but brightened when he saw him leaving against the door frame, arms crossed with a familiar unamused expression on his face. kalim was quick to straighten himself to his full height and gave his friend(?) a nervous smile. no matter how jamil felt about him, kalim couldn't help but think of him as his closest friend in spite of everything.

"ah, uhm! i figured!" kalim let out a small laugh. his hands reached to nervously fidget at the loose yarn of his cardigan but found nothing, only the silky smooth fabric of a new shawl over his shoulders. the thinness of it left him feeling exposed. "all the food the servants made was really good but i felt it was a bit too much! ever since i've lived in ramshackle, i've gotten so use to eating—"

"you're so use to eating scraps now that you decided to raid the servant's kitchens to see if you could find something to reassure yourself that you weren't 'becoming spoiled' again?" jamil's tone was icy again, like from back when they argued, and kalim felt himself unintentionally shrinking in on himself. jamil continued, "and then, because you dont know the first thing about anything, you were going to get me to make whatever silly thing the janitor could scrounge up with left over tuna and some eggs so you could sit in the kitchen and eat it up and think to yourself 'wow im such a good person, having learned to enjoy the simpler things in life' all while going back to your room and sleeping like a little baby, safe and cuddled up in your several thousand thaumark sheets, spoiled rotten beyond belief—"

"you're right," kalim nodded, "i am spoiled."

"but i've also learned how meaningless a lot of this is." kalim's shoulders slumped, "did you know that there were servants whose entire job was to make sure my bathwater wasn't too hot or too cold? I didn't," he laughed, "i just thought the water came out perfect every time."

he remembered his first cold shower in ramshackle and how he sneezed and sneezed and sneezed. he remembered how the janitor had made him some chalky hot cocoa to help warm himself up and that it was the tastiest thing he had had all day. he remembers them wrapping him up in several ratty blankets and reassuring him that he would get use to it.

"the first cold shower is always the worst. so is the second. and so is the third. but eventually it will be ok."

"is it ok for you?"

the janitor hadn't said anything then, only offered him a small smile and a shrug before grim stole their attention away from him.

kalim blinked. he was back in the present.

"i spent my whole life having someone do everything for me and i thought that it was normal. that it was ok because i didn't know how to do anything properly and i didn't! but nobody would let me try. nobody let me fail. the only person who ever trusted me with my own choices was them."

"if i even so much as picked up a bread knife, you or some other servant would pluck it from my hands. saying things like, 'oh thats too dangerous for you' or 'don't worry kalim i've got it handled.' and i've suffered because of it!" he looked down at his hands and finally felt a sense of comfort in the cheap, colorful band aids that were wrapped around his fingers. burn marks, cuts, bruises, all things he never got to experience here in the palace or even in his own dorm.

for day 2 of sonic pride week organized by @sonicpridecorner i went with the hedgehog himself. didnt really have to think much abt the choice - as soon as i read "inspired" my mind went "sonic is an inspiration"

i really love aroace sonic headcanon as an aroace person myself - i know a lot of people like to ship him and i dont mind seeing him in ships that much, but aroace reading became my favorite as soon as i rejoined the fandom

a lot of media i consumed when i was younger was heavy on crushes, dating, etc. even the first time i was in sonic fandom, archie focused on romance and the fandom just loved shipping. i remember that i shipped some popular ships not really because i liked them but just to not feel left out, even if i wasnt as active in fandom spaces

dont get me wrong, i do like shipping and romance, it just.. depends on characters. so in hindsight, having a character like sonic - who i know clearly see as an aroace - its kinda obvious why i was never as into sonamy as i tried to be. as im older, having characters who can just exist without a need of romantic relationship, hits different

when i first found out im ace, i didnt mind. i never cared for sex, so whatever. i kinda knew back then that im on aromantic spectrum too, but it was hard to accept. when i could no longer deny it i grieved. because i stil craved romance. the love everyone thought was so special. i cried, felt awful and.. moved on. it took time but i felt better with the label

rejoing sonic fandom - older, better at reading into stuff and understanding english - i got a fresher perspective on sonic. i still recognized him as the character i liked, but with that newfound understanding of his character, i gained a stronger appriciation of him. i could relate a bit more, sorta. with the aroace reading, i saw him in a new light - maybe even as an aspiration. someone who can enjoy themselves to the fullest without romantic love. someone who can appriciate platonic love

because god knows i still sometimes feel awful knowing that ill likely never fall in love. but a character i admire doesnt. a character i admire doesnt even spare a thought for romance. so maybe i can too, one day

i hope that makes sense. i always related more to tails as a kid - i still do, but sonic was still a big inspiration to me when i was 11 and older. and ig that is one of the ways he inspires me all these years later - to be proud in who i am, to just let myself be

honestly, i think resorting to polygamy when there's a love conflict is, to be point blank, lazy writing. no, i am not hating on people who are into that. i dont mind at all!! people can like what they like. however. i am of the opinion that saying "oh, because there's a love triangle situation, the best possible outcome is for ALL of them to be in a relationship!!!" an interesting take! unfortunately, i have grown fond of more complex, in-depth writing for relationships instead of grouping characters together in a morally wrong, codependent situation :/ like, the whole Qinterwatcher ship for example. those are all children, guys. they're not going to be healthy together, i'm sorry to say. Qibli has serious insecurity and imposter syndrome issues, Moon was neglected and has been rejected by almost everyone all her life and definitely has trauma from that, and Winter was treated like dirt by both Qibli AND Moon because of his trauma and his shortcomings in severe situations (they could never make me hate you, Winter). also, i'm honestly just not a fan of love triangle situations anyway. like,, it just feels grimy to me, making love into a competition. "oh, but one person doesnt feel adequate for the other person and is willing to give them up to the other person, and---" yes. i get that. ive seen that. but it still reads like an obsessive behavior that is honestly a really toxic mindset to have in the first place. i probably didnt convey this right and people are probably gonna come after me with pitchforks and nukes, but yeah. i stand by my said.

SO. MY THOUGHT. MY HORRIBLE THOUGHT. Asgore and Toriel are just a bit older than him (i still need to do the math on alllll this) and maybe. Sometime in Tenna's very early adulthood (like. 18-21 or so) He gets kicked out of his parents house very abruptly.

This happens around the time Toriel and Asgore are together (not married quite yet) and have their house, and they let Tenna stay for a bit while he figures things out. Eventually he does and They're close as family friends after.

And when Asriel is born and Kris is adopted He's like their funny little uncle... (they probably even call him "Uncle Ant". hilarious btw) and even when he starts getting famous. He comes over for. holidays. and such. (im gonna collapse)

Once dess disappears and the marriage starts going under he takes the kids out of the house a lot. To the movies or the park or something. To give the parents a break, To get away from the fighting. Whatever they need.

Then they stop having holidays at the house. the divorce is finalized. they just don't need him as much anymore and the kids are getting older. And he's gotten busier. The calls are less frequent.

He still calls around Christmas but only Toriel really talks to him. She has to hand the phone to the kids and tell them to say hi.

it all feels so distant now.

So i thought i had no thoughts until i started typing and didn't stop. I didn't start watching either of them until they joined lifesteal so i have almost no knowledge of their relationship before except that there was a betrayal in kings s1 and minute wore wemmbu's tiara until he returned.

which is like two very opposite and opposing emotions lmao. hatred from one betrayal that stops minute from ever wanting to team with wemmbu ever again. paired with caring about him so much that his absence when wemmbu had to delete his channel made him change his skin to wear a tiara.

and then they just barely interact or talk or do anything at all ever on the server.

but minute just has absolute and complete exasperated exhaustion and frustration over everything wemmbu does. wemmbu builds an orbital, minute is put out. he builds it again and minute stumbles upon it and is just flabbergasted wemmbu didn't think of someone flying in. It's like an elaborate cat and mouse, but the cat thinks the mouse is up to nothing until it runs out in front of him. and then the mouse gets caught laden with crumbs and just bans himself off, not to minute, but to 4c.

Minute deals with wemmbu quickly and swiftly. He knows that if he can put overwhelming pressure on wemmbu, that wemmbu will cave and quit.

which interestingly colors how minute deals with all problems on lifesteal. He'll often do, or at least think of doing, something that does overwhelming destruction to another's plot, and that's either something that is intrinsic to minute, or something that he's learned from battling wemmbu. bc it's extremely effective against wemmbu. or its just both. but i always wonder about how much his friendship with wemmbu made him the way he is. i wont ever know bc i dont plan on watching the old videos lol. but i like to think it's connected.

Bc like getting a mole on abyss and ensuring it ended before zam could break into the void at all, trying to BAN spoke in their conversation this season. these are overwhelmingly powerful actions meant to absolutely destroy the opposition and make them stop and give up. It's anything for the win, but when you throw golden laurels into the mix, it's everything to stop wemmbu from being annoying with his overpowered plots. It makes him quit and they can go back to being friends.

it is- ok, it is also i think just minute. if you watch his rlcraft play style, even without hardcore, minute grinds until he has overwhelming gear and armor, and then plays really safely against the bosses and wins with ease. It's a facet of how he plays video games.

and then wemmbu has the exact opposite play style. anything to make his life easier. "can i have a hint" .5 seconds into every wato room. He'll do a grind project like the orbital or like learning pvp and then use it all at once in his own overpowered plots. 50 hearts in one hour. killing anyone for no reason and using tnt to get people angry. He puts in time in the backend, but when it comes to the presentation, it's swift and absolute.

And then when it's defeated he just gives up. Life is easier that way.

and so they're so similar but so opposite. both are willing to use overwhelming force. but since wemmbu leans evil he leads the plot, while minute leans good so he's always caught flat footed, something, to note his play style again, he would naturally hate. So he tries to get ahead of wemmbu (and everyone evil) and stop the plot before it can happen, using overwhelming force if they show their hand before the presentation (trying to ban spoke).

but then. ok wow lmao maybe i do have thoughts. but then Every. Single. Thing. Wemmbu. Does. Minute. Does.

Wemmbu paves the way and gives minute permission to follow his darker tendencies to follow the whispers in his heart of what is cool, but maybe a little evil.

wemmbu builds an orbital, minute builds a death star. wemmbu builds an arrow cannon rail gun. minute builds an arrow cannon claymore. and then builds 10 more arrow cannons. wemmbu adds immortality to his presidential decree. minute adds an immortality switch to his presidential decree. and givens himself netherite durability on his armor, a minor version of immortality.

at least he didn't copy wemmbu in blowing up spawn with tnt.

minutetechnologies loves his technology, his silly little redstone technology. But before wemmbu did the orbital, minute only ever did pvp. it's like he limited himself, did what was acceptable to fit into the group of lifesteal, that is until wemmbu did something bigger and it opened the door to more opportunities.

But then again, minute is batman too. He takes the higher road, his voice waver about spawn being the target was just as important to his decision to kill spoke as the exploits were, at least in my mind. We'll see if he decides to bomb spawn next season, but I think we're seeing an upper limit to what Minute is willing to do, one that is much lower than wemmbu's upper limit. And that makes them an even better duo, in some ways their ideologies are the same, and in others they're completely different.

Has to be said, that while I do think that Jack and Stephen love each other vey very very much and that they are in some kind of symbiotic and queer relationship.

I also firmly believe that Jack is just... The most vanilla, heterosexual leaning and disappointingly bad at sex guy to ever exist.. BUT... Hes also deeply bi romantic and so so so friendship-eager that hes dangerously capable to quickly form a friendship/ fall in love with just about anyone who seems nice and shows him a bit of decency n affection... especially if they share a meal with him.

An extremely secretive acespec whos waaaay more into taking people and animals apart and studying them than anything else (both bodies and minds)..... except maybe the idea of being mauled (body and especially mind... bonus if the person tormenting him is a beautiful powerful independant woman comparable to some carnivorous beast)....Oh yeah... and also chasing a concept..

The thing is, if Stephen actually proposed anything....(and he would have to be the one to initiate, because for all of Jacks repetitions of the "Go straight at them", he rarely does, does he? More often He waits and surveys untill they "Go straight at Him")

He would propose it in such a roundabout and awkward way that it would necessarily include at least about two hours of detailed descriptions of mating habits of some amphibians.

And if Jack didnt zone out through all that and actually caught the drift... Hed probably go tomato red and be like "Haha what a lewd chap you are, Stephen. Anyway I have to do something very important elsewhere, excuse me" and hed promptly walk into a door frame because his whole mind would be occupied by some hardcore compartmentalizing.

Re last part of your ask: I don't much care for female!Percy fics and I don't read them. In general, I don't like any genderbent fic that makes a same-sex relationship not a same-sex relationship. I have however read "Child Surprise" and "Salt Water Springs and Summer Romances" which are not genderbends, and I think predates that AU. Been a long time since I read them though, and don't remember a whole lot about them

ok im just gonna ramble a bit here.

So, to be honest, not really happy with the whole paywall thing slashfic got going on, every other painfully obvious important option that changes the course of the story's trajectory is hit with the hearts thingy, it kinda feels like the mc is being trapped in some sort of inescapable box . Ive noticed that everytime theres this "upcoming big moment" it leads to another downer and the authors are really milking and dragging it out for very long— by adding more characters that do not play a vital role to the main story, plotlines being stacked one after another ,it has gotten to the point that the whole of slashfic is getting difficult to keep track of, the storyline is messy with all these new plotlines, the character writing being done dirty. Despite all that, i think slashfic can *still* be made into something more interesting , something that is not as uncomfortable as the questionable ads they have...

Another thing— the development of relationships of mc with the main 4 is too quick, too forced i feel. Would've been more reasonable if the slashers slowly , and i mean by their own pace, gain trust in mc and not just literally jump right into "spice" .

So heres my conclusion to this: Slashfic has a very messy story, tricky to keep track of because of unecessary plotlines that add nothing to its supposed horror element. The whole mystery behind camp nevermoor, was working well enough JUST FINE. The settlers, the tree, lysa monroe and the cultists, and the involvement of the dunlaps with magic was a driving point.

And it got me thinking and brew more ideas.

1.) A comic, all things orgainzed into one. A comic where it gives us more insight, background or info/depth to camp nevermoor and the events that took place before the main conflict happened. This way, it could give more easy to navigate and understandable context to the main story and why it happened.

2.) A game, it has fun mechanics like a minigame and all. The game explores more on the main story, aka the recent events happening. This could also be an opportunity to see more into the lives of the slashers or camp counselors and explore their character by being given more information on each of them, be it their history or life growing up where you can play in their perspective to understand more, to feel the characters complexities and the nuances of why they are the way they are. For hearts, you dont have to pay, you earn them! Example: By playing into a sidestory of each character or do simple tasks that correlates to their preferences (Basically a whole grind system) So ; more hearts earned = increased bloodlust. As for the minigame, it could help build up your skills! (Stealth, agility, speed, strength, reaction) with each score adding to the percentage of each skill, and these skills helps you progress even more in the story.

Other games i played on dorian they were at a nicer level of decent , not too much paywall options and the story is consistent and progresses from its main point. Character writing is not very questionable but actually put into thought. Slashfic seems to be the leading game in the app but the way i see it, if the expensive paywall options and the excuse of supporting creators keeps going on coupled with not adhering to criticisms or suggestions , the game will be overshadowed by other games and it will soon loose its current spotlight because the way it is drives players further away from interest in playing because of its paywall problem. Each characters writing are just watered down blatant tropes and thats basically all that they are, its sad. I really thought slashfic would improve more on because the nevermoor story really did got my attention. Its a shame to see ive came this far along in the game to be met with a downgrade. But i still keep playing anyway and i do not know why, and honestly??? Im also starting to slowly loose interest having to wait so long and the episodes have gotten so short (lord spare me).

I already have art and redesigns in mind, these ideas aren't really much of a help to my motivation of finishing the plans i already have in motion😅
