You did your final push-ups of the session and breathed out a sigh of relief. Your entire body seemed to be on fire but it felt good. You grabbed your water bottle and towel from the bench and decided to go say hi to Sam before heading off to the shower. You started to head toward him but then you noticed Bucky walking toward him too. You stopped in your tracks when the metal armed man got there first. 

Your heart seemed to freeze whenever you saw him and your words would get caught in your throat. He was too handsome for his own good and sweeter than sugarcane. You refused to confess your feelings for him because you knew he didn’t feel the same. How could he? You hadn’t spoken two words to him since you’ve been there. 

You were going to turn around and go back to the locker room when you heard Sam calling your name. 

“Hey, (Y/N), you look lost. Are you okay?” He asked. You noticed the two men staring at you. 

“Uh, yeah! I’m great! Just gonna go grab a shower!” You forced a smile and ran off into the locker room. Sam shook his head and chuckled. 

“What’s so funny?” Bucky asked. 

“She gets so nervous around you, it’s cute,” Sam smiled. 

“She doesn’t get nervous around me, what are you talking about?” Bucky scoffed. 

“You’re an idiot.” Sam rolled his eyes and went over to the weights, leaving Bucky wondering what he meant. 

You turned on the shower and let the hot water relax your tense muscles. You tried to get your mind off your embarrassing moment in front of Bucky so you tried to play songs in your mind. You ended up getting lost in the music and started to sing out loud. You never let anyone hear you sing, you barely let them hear you speak. 

You didn’t hear the door open so you jumped when you heard someone clear your throat. 

“Who’s there?” You asked. 

“It’s just me,” Wanda laughed. “You sounded amazing. I didn’t know you could sing.” 

“Um, I can’t really.” You turned off the shower and wrapped your towel around yourself. You stepped out and saw Wanda standing there with a small smile. 

“You know you can be yourself around us, right? I know you’re new and everything but we’re a family here and you have no need to feel so shy,” she told you. 

“I know, I’m just not quite there yet. But thank you,” you said. She patted your shoulder as you walked by to get dressed. The day continued on without further incident and for that you were thankful. 

You woke up the next day in a pretty good mood. It was a beautiful, sunny day so you decided to go for a swim. You put on your swimsuit and grabbed a towel. You popped in your headphones and headed out to the pool. You hummed along to your favorite song as you passed the kitchen where most of the team was sitting. You didn’t even notice, you were too focused on enjoying the sunshine. 

“Was that (Y/N) humming?” Natasha asked. 

“I think so but I’m not sure I’ve ever heard her even speak before,” Tony laughed. 

“She actually has a really pretty singing voice,” Wanda chimed in. “She’s just shy.” 

“Is she scared of us or something?” Steve asked. 

“I think she’s just scared of doing or saying something embarrassing. I’m sure she’ll come around soon,” Wanda reassured everyone. It wasn’t that you were scared of them. You wanted them to like you and accept you into their family but you knew that wasn’t always easy for people so you tried not to step on toes. 

After going for a swim you decided to go into town and get a bit of shopping done. You enjoyed your day out and thought that next time maybe you’d invite the girls along. If you wanted to join their little family you decided you’d have to put in a little more effort. 

When you arrived back to the compound you were pretty hungry so you headed straight to the kitchen. It seemed suspiciously quiet and you found a note on the counter explaining why. 

“(Y/N), we weren’t sure when you’d be back but we decided to go catch a movie. We’ll miss you but we’ll be back soon! -Team” 

You smiled as you set it down. It was nice of them to leave a note saying they’ll miss you. You decided to make yourself some dinner so you hooked your phone up to the bluetooth to fill the silence. You got your ingredients and some pans and got to work. The Mamma Mia 2 soundtrack floated through your air and you swayed your hips to the tune. 

Unbeknownst to you, Bucky was in his room reading when he heard the music start up. He thought that everyone had gone to the movie so he decided to investigate.

Bucky sat in the doorway stunned as he watched your body sway to the music. He never expected you to have such a beautiful voice. He waited until the song finished and started clapping. You dropped your spatula as you spun around. 

“Bucky! What are you doing here?” You asked. 

“I live here,” he chuckled. You looked down in embarrassment. 

“Well yeah, but why aren’t you at the movies with everyone else?” You picked up your spatula and put it in the sink, avoiding eye contact with Bucky. 

“I didn’t feel like going out tonight and I’m glad I didn’t. You have to do that again, you sounded amazing!” He came into the kitchen and you shook your head. 

“No, I don’t sing in front of people, at least not on purpose.” You turned back to your dinner, hoping he would just accept your answer and leave you alone. Your heart was beating out of your chest and you could barely focus on your food.

“How about just for me?” He asked. He was a lot closer than you expected and it made you jump. You turned around and he was only inches away from you. 

“I, uh, I’m not sure,” you mumbled. 

“Do I make you nervous, (Y/N)?” He asked. He put his arms on the counter, engulfing you in his presence. 

“N-no,” you whispered. His face got closer to yours and you forgot how to breathe. 

“Then you should have no problem singing for me again, right?” He was so close that you could practically taste the tea on his breath. 

“Right,” you agreed, not even thinking about it. Bucky smiled and pulled away, leaving you wanting more. 

“Great! How about you bring your dinner to my room and we can watch a movie together, then maybe you can sing for me later?” He asked with a smirk. You were going to protest but he put his hand up to stop you. “I won’t take no for an answer.” 

“Well I guess that’s a yes then,” you shook your head and laughed. 

“I hope this is a start to you coming out of your shell more around us. We all really like you and want to get to know you more,” he said. 

“I’m gonna try,” you told him. He placed a soft kiss on your cheek and grabbed your plate for you. 

“Let’s go then,” he said, taking your plate in one hand and your hand in the other.

hi Sunny. first of all i'm gonna say i love your story and your editing style so much! your blog is goals like literally. i need an advice if you don't mind. you always find such amazing angles for your pictures while mine are so boring. any tips or tricks you can share?

HI thank you so much ;-; sooooo i’ve been thinking about this question the past couple of times i went in game, trying to figure out how to describe how i take pictures. for one thing i live in tab mode lmao. meaning you press the tab button on your keyboard to go into camera mode and get all these sexy angles and super zoom and stufffff. i almost always zoom in super far idk why. so there’s one tip. i honestly just play around with going up and down with the q and e keys (i think?) until i find angles i like. i take a lottttt of pictures with so many different angles just so i have a lot to choose from. basically i try to focus on different things in each picture in order to get a mix of the most diverse and dynamic shots possible. you just need to experiment and get creative. i know that’s the most vague advice ever but really just try a new angle that you’ve never considered before and i bet you’ll get cool results. an interesting setting is also the biggest factor, because certain objects and their placements will give you interesting results. 

i honestly want to print out your reaction pic to that one post and just hang it on my wall, put it in my heart locket necklace, stamp it on people's faces, start an email thread with it. i love it.

how do you get your sims' facial expressions to line up with your scenes? I feel like my sims' faces are never right :(

tbh i just use a lot of the same neutral poses...my go-to’s are @helgatisha‘s poses lol. they’re the easiest to work with when i do just plain talking scenes, and often i tweak my sims’ eyebrows and mouths with the liquify tool if i want them to look a bit more concerned, sad, mad, happy, etc., it works like a charm!! i also tend to play around with angles, you’d be surprised how much a different angle can enhance a scene.

(b) I would drop all the unnecessary responsibilities I have and start doing things that I want to do, but subtly. Still don’t want to be treated like I’m dying.
