The Comic Colloq over here at Saarbrücken will do a 24h comic day from tomorrow noon until Sunday! I'm really looking forward to that (will be my first time!) and I think the atmosphere will be super chill. I'm still unsure if I want to come up with a story on the spot or try thinking of something before. I do however have a book here with some 24h comic compilations, one with Neil Gaiman and an introduction my Scott McCloud, so I'll flip through that again to get some inspiration 👍

..Echo and Hera being Canon is the most insane thing in the fucking world.

Like..OK so I guess Hera just LOVES blue people. Nevermind the fact she and Zeus fucking love each other (despite their marriage being very terrible, cuz of him.) It would've been AMAZING. To see her reflect on everything, talk to him about her problems, about their marriage problems, how she misses him, how she wants to kick his ass for everything he put her through. We could've had THAT. But no!!! We got this half baked ship cuz Rachel can't write couples or plots worth shit!!

Hera LOVED Zeus and then she fucking friend zones the husband she's loved and known for literally centuries. Be so fuckkng fr.

Also..why does Hera need to..die to get rid of Kronos?? This plot is ridiculous. How is this feminist??? All the women need to suffer and get hurt to be strong??? To defeat the men??? Be so fucking FOR REAL THIS IS STUPID. END THIS.

And then all the people there to defeat Kronos?? They didn't really do shit now did they 🙄 are they just standing at the door like dumbasses now? The hell Is Tartarus doing?? How is he losing control of Kronos AGAIN.

Thinking abt how much adhd contributes to art block?

Like... a non exhsustive list looks smth like this:

Gets bored if a piece takes longer than a few days

Loses interest if smth more interesting comes around

Procrastinates starting a project bc of mental/emotional/physical overwelm

Doesn't start a project bc there are Too Many Ideas

Gets bored once you know what the outcome will be

A thousand uncompleted sketches and thumbnails *

* (not actually a bad thing, do this More actually. It gets the ideas out!)

Gets discurraged without external validation

Becomes adicted to external validation

Incapable of being reliable in a sustained fashion

Misses deadlines bc of time blindness

Either you get to Plan a long term project or Do a long term project. Either way it doesn't get done bc you can't do both, and even if you could... see point 1.

adding on to that last Vagabond Unit post:

Liege doesn’t get the whole war thing going on. Bro is here to lounge around and have a cold one with the bros after a good race.

Why is he hanging around the Autobots and/or Decepticons? Well, that’s all Micro.

Micro knows that Primus gifted it life to complete a mission: to end the great war no matter the cost. It makes Liege travel all the way to Earth to join the war, but knowing Liege is more of a pacifist loser, it “lies” and claims that Earth is a lot richer in life and energon, therefore they must move to that planet.

Micro lets Liege fuck around with the locals and both sides as to keep his morale high, but eventually, somethings are gonna happen that… well, get Liege to realize the severity of this whole situation.
