Dustin posts a series of videos on his Tiktok account of his time babysitting Steve and Eddie while they’re sick. He claims it’s evidence because no one would believe that two grown men act like this.
The first video he posts is literally just him asking why they are in the living room and not in bed anymore. Eddie says that he didn’t want to be alone and Steve grumbles something about this being his house, Dustin can’t tell him what to do. Dustin just sighs, “I’m glad we’re going to be mature about this.”
In the second video, Steve is throwing the pillows off the couch in search of his glasses. Eddie’s in a blanket burrito on the floor, throwing out suggestions. None of with are ‘hanging off your shirt’ with is where Steve’s glasses are.
He post one later in the day of Eddie bitching about how he can’t even walk up the stairs without needing to use his inhaler despite the fact that he doesn’t need to walk up the stairs at all. Steve is snoring so goddamn loud in the background of this one.
He post one where he and Eddie are trying to take Steve’s temperature while he’s asleep. They fail. He wakes up and he’s pissed off. He also has a fever.
Dustin post a video of the absolute death glare Steve gives Eddie the entire time Diane is reheating the soup she made for them in the kitchen.
In a different one, Eddie suggests they ‘screw the sickness away.’ Steve with his head in his hands says ‘that has literally never worked.’ Dustin tells them to knock it off or he’ll leave for real this time.
In a different video, Eddie walks into the room and sees Ozzy laying on Steve like he does when Steve’s had a seizure and tries to get up before he should. But that context isn’t known to the wider world so it looks like Eddie walks into the room and says ‘I took a shower,’ frowned, and then said ‘oh no.’
He post one of Eddie and Steve asleep with the caption ‘thank god’ and then another when he’s leaving for the day and they’re both upset that he doesn’t want to hang out with them. He ends it with, “It’s literally been a nightmare, guys.”

leah williamson x fem!reader
in which leah, famous hater of tiktok joins in on a trend, for you.
one thing about your girlfriend that not many people knew - is that she is secretly an absolute dork, through and through. her signature frown and grumpy expression when she focused, meant that not only was she endlessly teased by you for it, and jokingly reminded that if the wind blew she’d be stuck like that - but also that she gained a reputation for being very serious, and rarely showing her emotions, particularly on the pitch.
you however, and anyone who had the pleasure of getting to see her behind closed doors, and truly knowing her - knew that that was the furthest thing from the truth.
which, is what led you to now.
you’d been sprawled almost flat on top of her in bed for what had felt like hours on end, your favourite place to be on the rare occasion that you both had a day off, when an unusual silence settled between the two of you.
unusual, in the sense that these private moments between the pair of you were usually filled by leah’s rambles about anything and everything, a narration of every single thought that had remained unspoken over the time she wasn’t with you.
“what are you doing?” you protested, breaking the silence and grumbling into the crook of your neck, not even a millisecond after her fingers stopped trailing through your hair.
“nothing, grouchy! just trying to figure out this stupid thing. bloody tiktok i swear! i don’t know how you and the girls love it so much, makes no sense!” she waved her phone in the air, eyebrows furrowing and that frown deepening - but her fingers instantly resuming their actions in your hair, causing you to slump once more.
“wait babe why are you on tiktok! you hate tiktok!” the realisation hit you rather slowly due to your state, your mind flashing back to the what must be hundreds of times that you begged her to do a cute video with you - only to be met with a rant about how much she despised the app.
“oi! mind your business. you’ll see! just need some patience my girl!” she chuckled, bopping you on the nose as she tilted her screen just out of your eyes’ reach.
to say you were confused was a major understatement. you knew you could’ve seen her screen if you really wanted to, your position on top of her giving you a rare power.
one that you knew not to test, however. so, you let yourself shrug off her strange behaviour and settle back into her, being pulled in by the addictiveness that was her skin, and her scent.
“there! done!” she pushed her phone into your face, so suddenly it almost made you jump.
and what faced you, confused you almost as much as when it was hidden from you.
it was her lockscreen. a new one, replacing the picture of the two of you.
a bouquet of flowers.
they were cute, undeniably. dainty little illustrated cartoon flowers, in a variety of colours and styles, put together in a bouquet - in the middle of a plain background.
but not enough to match the shit eating, proud yet almost shy grin that was spread across her lips.
“it’s….cute? lee i don’t get why you’re showing me this though?” your frown mirrored her previous one, confusion visible all over your face that made her giggle, and prod at your flushing cheek.
“look silly girl, it’s some trend on tiktok that beth showed me. there’s a flower for each letter of the alphabet, and people have been putting them together and spelling out their partner’s names to make a little bouquet and i thought it was cute, okay!” she said, almost sheepishly - looking away from you as you sat up, grinning.
“you’re so cute oh my god.” you peppered kisses all over her face, ignoring her protests.
“the team cannot hear about this. kay? i’m their captain, i have a reputation to uphold!” she met your lips in a kiss, almost immediately proving her own point wrong.
“i think everyone knows how much of a dork you are baby i’m afraid, we’re way past that point!”

Kara keeps touching her, and it’s slowly driving Lena insane.
A hand at the small of her back as Kara steps past her, fingers grazing Lena’s arm, her hand, shoulders bumping together when Kara stands close. And it keeps happening as they cook together, Kara sending her a smile with each touch, sometimes an added wink, and maybe Lena’s not so hungry anymore. At least not for food, anyway.
It’s the kiss to the back of Lena’s shoulder that does it, Kara’s mouth warm through her thin shirt, fleeting in its touch, the gesture both sweet and maddening.
Kara walks past her, picks up a knife, and starts chopping vegetables for the stir fry they’re making, but that can wait.
“What are you doing?” Kara asks, as Lena carefully takes the knife from Kara’s hand.
Lena doesn’t answer, instead, hands on Kara’s hips, she spins her girlfriend, crowds into her space, backing her up until they’re pressed against the kitchen island.
Lena crouches slightly, hands slipping to under Kara’s thighs, and then she lifts, intending to pick Kara up so she’s sitting on the counter.
But nothing happens.
Lena tries again, lifting as hard as she can this time, trying to pick Kara up, belatedly realising just how much her superhero girlfriend weighs, and her normal human strength isn’t going to do much against that.
“Did you want me to…?” Kara asks, looking amused as she points to the counter behind her.
Lena nods, cheeks red, embarrassed by her failed attempt.
Kara’s places her hands on the island before she easily lifts herself onto it.
“Better?” Kara asks, grinning now as she looks down at her girlfriend, Lena now standing between Kara’s thighs.
Lena groans, head tilting forward to bury itself in Kara’s chest.
Kara laughs. “What’s wrong?”
Lena pulls away so she can see Kara’s face. It’s a little unfair how good she looks, eyes crinkled, hair falling around her face as Kara tilts her head down slightly to look at her.
"I was trying to seduce you, but then I couldn’t even lift you and I ruined it.”
Kara’s still smiling, and it’s impossible to feel too bad when Kara’s looking at her like that.
Kara cups her cheeks, and Lena melts a little into the touch. “I thought it was cute.” She shifts forward a bit, so Lena is properly tucked between her thighs. “And I definitely like this.” Kara hooks her legs behind Lena, and ok, Lena definitely likes this too.
Kara leans forward and then they’re kissing, and then Lena has zero regrets because Kara’s tongue is in her mouth and Kara’s thighs are strong around her and it’s perfect.
It’s lucky they hadn’t actually turned the stove on yet, because with the way Lena’s distracted by Kara right now, her thoughts are definitely far from the meal they’ve been preparing.
Lena laughs into Kara’s mouth when Kara presses forward, right off the counter. In normal circumstances, Lena would’ve collapsed under the weight of Kara in her arms, but Kara floats, leaving just enough pressure for Lena to feel like she’s doing at least a little of the work holding her girlfriend up.
“Bedroom?” Kara mumbles against Lena’s mouth.
Lena doesn’t need to be asked twice.
