how ab peter dating a s/o with witch-like powers? like they can control fire and bring ppl back to life (basically ahs 3 witch powers)
Omg this idea sounds really cool 😯 they'd literally be a power couple hehe (ignore my awful joke sksksk) also I decided to write headcanons instead of a fic, so I hope that's okay <33
Peter Maximoff with a s/o who's a witch
Warnings: swearing, brief mentions of violence/fighting
Tumblr media
Peter first saw you one day when he was out taking a stroll in the park
He noticed you kneeling down beside a bird who appeared to have a broken wing
He was about to go over and help when he saw you pick the bird up and cover it with you hands
Once you reopened them, it flew away as if nothing happened
He was bewildered by what he'd just witnessed
Thinking you were a fellow mutant, he approached you and introduced himself
You were a bit wary, having heard stuff on the news about people with your abilities being harrassed, assaulted, or killed, but after he started talking about his mutation and stuff you relaxed a little bit and began to trust him more
He found out that you were essentially homeless; your parents had kicked you out of the house after learning about your powers and you had no place to go, so now you just sort of wandered around, using you abilities to help people whenever you could
After you said this, he blurted out, "do you want to come live with me?"
It took him a couple of minutes to explain the place he was talking about wasn't just his home necessarily, but a place for other people like you who had powers the world was too ignorant to try to understand
You agreed, figuring it'd be worth a shot to try it out
Besides, what left did you have to lose?
Once you arrived, everyone immediately welcomed you with open arms, making you feel at home there
You excelled at your classes and made tons of new friends, too
Not only that, but you and Peter started getting closer until one day, he finally asked you out (you obviously said yes)
He's constantly bragging about you and how cool you are to anyone who will listen
Sometimes you'll have races to see who can get to places quicker, him with his super speed or you with your teleporting
Spoiler alert: you tie every. Single. Time
Speaking of teleporting, sometimes you use it to sneak up on him so you can scare him
*pops up out of nowhere* "Hey Peter"
"JESUS CHRI- WHERE THE FUCK DID YOU COME FROM?!?!"
You like making random objects (specifically stuff that belongs to him) fly across the room just to mess with him
He tries to get you back by hiding some of your things, always forgetting you can easily find them with divination
Actually, he probably does it on purpose, because sometimes he'll hide things just so he can watch you find them again. It never fails to amaze him
"How the hell did you find that so quickly?!? My hiding spot was really good!"
"I used magic, duh"
Occasionally he'll let you use mind control on him (with his consent, of course) just to see what it feels like
"Woah! It's like I'm still conscious and know what's happening, but my brain doesn't have any control over my body. So cool"
You don't get mad often, but when you do it kinda scares him, because he knows just how much power you truly have that you don't let on
Let's say you're on a mission, for example, and somehow he gets hurt
Hell hath no fury like when someone injures Peter, because the next thing he knows the bad guy is writhing on the ground in pain and you're standing over them, victorious
Afterwards, you check on him and make sure he's okay, but not until you're certain the bad guy is down for good and won't be getting up again anytime soon
You do not mess around when it comes to your boyfriend's safety
~

Writing To Yourself
(Mileage may vary, I'm not your mom nor your teacher--unless you're working for a specific state healthcare service, anyway.)
That's how you garden. Tend the plot. Plant a million seeds, reap a thousand blooms. The rest? Compost for the next crop. -@biot08 / @driftward
During a Discord convo, I thought about why so many fandom writers catch “writer’s block”, and some of it goes back to self-care and taking in new media, getting inspiration and knowledge, covered in this post. But much of it?
People think everything they create has to be publishable for others’ consumption. That is Not True. Too often we don't want to write things just for the sake of writing them, falling into the trap of thinking it needs to be perfectly polished and shared, but No It Really Doesn't.
Folks talk about “writing for oneself” but in terms of posting finished pieces of the kinds they want to see. If everything feels like it “has to be” publishable, it can start to put too much pressure on oneself. And then there’s your block, especially if the type to worry about how others Perceive you and your art.
Try simply writing anything and deciding later if it's something you want to share. I have pieces I wrote cuz my brain suddenly said it wanted to, but that writing isn't posted anywhere. Usually it’s random lines; out of context sentences, scenes, or bits of dialogue. Sometimes just incoherent character rambling. Ideas for situations and what ifs. Misspelled, typos, not grammatical, redundant wording, passive voice, bad POV, too many adverbs, not enough active verbs, not enough description, too much description, etc. All in notebooks or doc files. I’ve shared the (now out-dated) deep nests of my WIPs folders and the multiple, unfinished, unpolished pieces within them. Most will never be completed nor seen by the public.
For instance, I've a random smut fic of a Highlander Warrior of Light and the popular antagonist of Shadowbringers. I'm not usually a villain liker, but one day it hit my brain, so I wrote it. I have notes and outlines for the rest of their story and how it plays out, though I'll probably never write more. I scratched the writing itch, stretched some skills, considered things from a different angle, and now it sits in drafts (I did post a couple decent-ish smut lines to my private Twitter once).
Mostly, it's practice. Even if it's junk and janky.
“But I have (professionally) published X or Y…”
Still gotta exercise the writing muscles! Still gotta scrawl off something utterly unusable now and again for the heck of it!
All those random lines, descriptions, scenes, rambles? Maybe I'll use them someday. I wrote them down to feel the pen in my hand or keys clacking under my fingers, to see the words pop onto the page or screen, to play with word choice, sentence structures, and “how would they say that?” For my own satisfaction, no one else’s.
When I get bored or stuck, or need a screenshot or writing prompt response, I might poke at those lines, pages, rambles, and see if they hit now or spin off to something else. They often don’t. But sometimes they help inform other things I do post to the public later. Even if that’s just a Question of the Day prompt response on Twitter.
(That also counts as writing and creating btw; you’re still coming up with something to share about your characters and I think that’s very creative of you.)
If the mood strikes, write. Even if it's just a vague idea--especially if it's any bits of dialogue or description, if it's something you think that you actually do want to write when off work or out of bed or whatever.
Even if you never post it anywhere public. Even if it never gets out of crummy first draft, unfinished pages form. It might feel like pulling teeth and look rough, especially if it’s been awhile.
But still write it. No one else has to know or see. Not until you want them to.
Maybe parts of it will inform something you do finish later. Maybe two years from now another prompt will hit just right and you’ll dig out that draft and finish it for posting. Maybe you’ll cannibalize aspects of it for an entirely different piece. Maybe you’ll even use it in a few more years to see how far you’ve come as a writer.
In many cases? That's how you actually keep writer's block away. Keeping ideas around to steal from yourself, letting yourself write nonsense, unpublishable bits and pieces, maybe even whole pages, just for the heck of it, if writing is something one enjoys and wants to stick with as a hobby (or professionally). If you don’t enjoy writing for fun? Don’t force it; do little character prompts and blurbs as they feel right, and find the ways to share creativity that work for you.
And seriously, don’t forget to take in new media, experiences, and information. This is How You Lose the Time War got me writing on an original story I shelved last autumn. The stories aren't at all alike! But seeing new words in new ways helped shake something loose in my brain. So try to make some time for that, too.
Write to yourself, not for others’ consumption. Public posting is great for validation and encouragement, for when we feel the urge to share due to pride or just wanting to gush about our faves. But also let yourself remember why you liked creating worlds, making up stuff about your characters, and writing at all to begin with, without the pressure of public posting. Give yourself some grace, and let it all be messy, unhinged, misspelled, ungrammatical, incomplete, and make no narrative sense.
Write to yourself, for yourself. Then let the rest follow.

Y'all
Imma write some 4kota fanfics
There's currently so little of it, I know it's not just me who's craving more of it, and so, I shall try my best to provide to the people based on the ideas that have popped into my head so far, lmao
Currently have an idea for a Lancelot x Reader story (Most likely male, gn, or nb reader, there also might be smut, idk yet, we'll see where the characters take me)
And then also a lovely idea for a college roommate AU for Tristan x Lancelot that's super fluffy <3 (it MIGHT end up with more than one chapter but I'm not entirely sure yet)
Besides that, I'll have to wait for more ideas. Maybe you guys can inspire me? I make no promises that everyone's ideas will be made into stories cause sometimes my brain just doesn't let me no matter how much I may like the story idea, but if you guys drop some random prompts/ideas down below, I can try my best to get some other stories out besides the two I have planned!! (If I write something based on your idea, I'll cred you and your lovely brain <3)
The only thing is 1.) I won't write Gawain with a guy or Nasiens with a girl romantically for obvious reasons and 2.) I won't write anything for Chion atm just cause I haven't quite figured out his character yet and therefore don't feel comfortable writing for him yet (besides him being a background/side character). But besides that, I'm a multi shipper and I write reader inserts so throw something at me!! I also write platonic/general stories, too!!

hey hi help i thought i might be a system but then i spiraled and long story short my Boys AREN'T RESPONDING AND I DON'T KNOW WHERE THEY ARE IT'S LIKE BEING ALONE BUT WORSE
like they were there and then they weren't and every time i tried to talk to them it felt like i was just talking to myself and making a fake person to respond? is this normal??
i'm panicking a little, sorry for the rant
Alright, first thing: let's try to calm our panic a little bit. Take a deep breath or two, splash some water on your face, do whatever helps you calm down. Panic Mode does not help the majority of crises, this one included, so let's turn our attention to the issue at hand.
By the way you speak, it sounds that you recently figured out you're a system, but your troubles with internal communication are causing you to doubt yourself. I'm going to be responding under the assumption that that is what's happening. If I've misunderstood, feel free to send a follow-up ask.
It is very common, especially in newly discovered systems, to struggle with internal communication. Internal communication is sort of like drawing – you may have a knack for it right off the bat, or you may not, but either way you're still going to have to work to get better and figure out what works for you. It's a whole new skill to learn – one that can be finicky for some people! You are not alone with having difficulty internally communicating; we had the same sort of problems when we first had our syscovery. It took us a good few months to build up a reliable communication system in our brain, during which we had to figure out things like how to send each other our thoughts, how to listen to each other without accidentally blocking people out, what to do if an intrusive thought was shared via internal communication, etc. When you're first starting out, internal communication can be really hard, and sometimes this means you may struggle to hear anyone at all.
In fact, related to that last statement, it's not uncommon to have periods of not hearing anyone at all, even for systems with good internal communication. Sometimes, headmates are just away from the front, or your brain has decided it's going to shut down comms for a few days, or some other nebulous problem has reared its head. It's uncomfortable, and it can be scary, but not hearing anyone doesn't mean you're not a system. Some systems don't have any internal communication, after all!
There is one important thing I want to bring up, however. The feeling that you're not talking to a real headmate, and rather just making up responses with an imaginary person? We've been there. Other systems have been there. Sometimes even headmates mistake themselves as imaginary. Think about it – you are engaging with a hypothetical (because you're not sure yet if they're really there) person who shares your body, the very concept of which goes against a lot of what we're taught, and you are trying to set up a method of communication with this hypothetical person via what is essentially one-person telepathy. It's a situation that is prime for self-doubt to grow.
But – fantastic news – there are ways to help yourself battle this self-doubt. Here's some of the tactics we came up with while developing internal communication:
Ask your headmates to say random things to you. Just random words that pop into their heads! Sometimes, you may be able to guess what they're going to say before they say it, since their head is also your head, but other times they may be able to surprise you. Hell, as I was writing this, someone in my system just told me, "Baseball," and I have no idea where the hell they pulled that from.
Write down internal conversations after you have them. This helps in two ways: one, you will have records to look back on the next time you're doubting yourself, and two, you can add notes about the conversation based on what your headmate says about it. For example, when I write down quotes from my system, sometimes the person who said the quote will tell me how they want it formatted. If you're writing down on paper, you could even set something up where your headmates can tell you what pen or marker they want you to write their statements in! Make your conversation journal a fun activity for all of you.
Play Simon Says. A headmate can tell you what you want to do, and you'll act it out in the physical world! It can help to see a physical world impact on what's going on inside your head (which, btw, also relates to the pen and marker suggestion). We didn't do this much, but we did do our best to fulfill small requests that other system members made, even when they were somewhat inconvenient for us. Nothing like asking for a particular candy brand you don't especially like just because you know a headmate likes it to kick self-doubt in the shin, am I right?
Think about how your headmates have influenced you or your actions. This can be by asking you to do certain things, making you smile or laugh, moving a part of your body through partial possession, or giving you a headache from switching, just to name a few examples. Focus on experiences that have affected your physical body or the physical world around you, and you'll feel less like it's all just in your head.
Set up a code word to let other system members know that you're struggling. We have a code system with certain words that will communicate to other system members how secure we are in the knowledge that we're a system; if someone says an emergency code word, we know they need reassurance right then, and can do our best to pull them out of self-doubt by talking about the issue or pulling out one of the other self-assurance tactics. It can be especially helpful if saying, "Hey, I feel really insecure right now, can you guys help me out?" feels like too much in the moment.
That's about all the advice we have to give on that matter. We really hope this helps you, anon! And remember – internal communication is not the end-all be-all of being a system. It's okay to struggle; it's okay to be unable to hear your headmates. That doesn't "prove you're not a system." It just means you're going through a quiet period right now. Give it some time, and your boys will probably return – in the meantime, enjoy the quiet and take some time for yourself. You're going to be okay.
TLDR: You're not alone in your experiences, this is a normal thing for newly discovered systems to go through, and having trouble hearing your headmates does not mean you're not a real system.

My brain is being weird and this is just a collection of random stuff tbh, mostly rambling
I love it when my body decides to be scared for no reason and starts making me all shaky/twitchy over things that have been resolved already and I get scared of NOTHING to the point where I nearly VOMIT
Yall don't need to worry, btw. I'm typically able to ground myself and calm down. It's just annoying how often it's been happening recently. I blame school
Also unrelated (somewhat) but I've been feeling weird about Fallen Stars as well.
I wanna keep writing it. It's really fun to do such, but I feel,, off about it in a way I can't really explain.
It genuinely isn't that good of a story. I'm not saying this for pity or to be mean to myself, but I genuinely know it isn't too great of a story.
Everything after part 13 is extremely inconsistent, and the sudden shift of Glaishur coming back to life was (seemingly) out of nowhere as well. I love having him back! I love writing him! he's literally my favorite! But from a storyteller point of view, anything past part 13 is insane. This doesn't mean that *I* don't like it, though - I do! But I know like.. ACTUAL writers would see it as random and out of nowhere. (Also, Bear, if you read this, IM NOT UPSET OR ANYTHING/SRS - IM LOWKEY STILL PROUD OF YOUR GOD ARC, IT WAS AMAZING ^^)
But yeah, I feel weird about it. Love it! But it's on pause for a while. I have something planned, though
RnR was made solely for fun and to experiment with character dynamics and world building, but it has almost no reason to exist other than let people know "Oh yeah, these goobers are around" and to indulge in silliness. It's like the sequel that wasn't REALLY needed, but the lore is fun to play around with. It's like how you get [big movie title], and the movie pops off, so the people behind it are like [big movie title](the series)™️
I'm thinking of making individual random little stories that are just the weird antics the characters get into that aren't in any particular order.
Fallen Stars in unrealistic in the sense of characters bettering themselves. It can happen irl, yeah, but it's extremely, EXTREMELY rare. Fallen Stars is how I wish people would actually work on it
I'm not a professional writer - I'm far from that. I'm just here to boogie and have fun, and there's no reason to pressure myself, but that's not gonna stop me from such.
I need to find another platform to post my stories on, but I'm not entirely sure where tbh. I do plan to continue posting the story here, but I wanna move it somewhere else as well
Also like,,,guys,,,,I don't own the Celestials,,, people can make stories with them. They aren't MY characters - just my personal interpretation of them. Someone writing a story with the Celestials isn't copying me! THEY!!! ARENT MINE!!! (so long as they don't literally rewrite Fallen Stars, lmao)
I'm thinking of giving every character their own little detail to differentiate them from the canon monsters a tad bit, so like. A drawing of Galvana ≠ FS Galvana. Attmoz and Glaishur already have this, Loodvigg's face/skull thing had a crack in it (yeah, that's canon now), Furnoss's design in general has been altered a bit.
I might try and write this idea out more in the future AU, which I plan on working on once RnR finds a stopping point.
You guys should watch ASMRplayroom. I love that channel - I hate asmr but that channel does it right auuaususuaus oh my god it's almost midnight
I know I'm not the only person, but I think it's weird how I can sit down and write and build worlds for hours on end but I. Can't read. Full of adhd.
I'm just some chick who likes plushies on the internet who writes sad stuff just to be sad sometimes. I'm gonna hope I don't regret it
Also I love Pereskia

Sabin!
Oooo, that's a good one! Sabin's a character I never thought much about when I was younger, but I've come to appreciate him. I think it helps I've come across a lot of great fan art of him, so he's become a surprisingly big presence in my reblogs.
Favorite thing about him:
Just as a surface thing, he seems like such a good guy -- down to earth, passionate, ready and willing to fight for his loved ones. I love his big beefy design. He has some seriousness in his backstory that's there for exploring, but there's also this very fun silliness to him -- holding up the corner of a burning house, diving into a river after Ultros, and of course suplexing the train. I think if I have to cite one favorite thing, it's the potential for humor, how he can do these very extreme off-the-wall things which seem to feel perfectly normal to him.
Least favorite thing about him:
He feels underutilized in the story, especially given he's one of your core party members in the second half of the game. It feels like, character-wise, he has less going on than Celes, Edgar, or Setzer.
Favorite line:
I can't think of any off the top of my head, but his laughing graphic is really cute.
brOTP:
The contrast between him and Edgar is enjoyable. Honestly, I feel like Sabin's bluff straightforwardness could play well with a lot of the party members; someone could write an interesting story about him and, say, Setzer on a mission/heist together, and have no end of fun contrasting them. But I'm going to go with Celes -- she's cold and stern, he's warm and cuddly, but I think they could meet in the middle and have some great character moments -- especially given how they both abandoned the lives other people had planned for them.
OTP:
I don't have one for Sabin. I think, at least at this point in his life, he's not looking for anything big, so if he did get with someone it would be pretty casual. Like with the previous answer, I think he has a lot of potential for fun and humor in any pairing, especially with a strongly contrasting personality, but there's also enough seriousness in his backstory to allow for some deeper, more emotional moments. I've seen some people float the idea of SabinTerra, and that definitely has possibilities -- Terra has very little concept of human love on any level, and Sabin would be able to relate to her as both a friend and a love interest. Plus, you just know he gives good hugs.
nOTP:
None that's a very interesting hot take -- I wouldn't go with Edgar? -- like I said, I haven't put too much thought into Sabin's love life. Even though Sabin's very warm and friendly, I think it might be difficult to write him in some pairings, at least believably.
Random Headcanon:
Oh, I'll have to think of something right now. Okay. Sometimes he misses the ghost that accompanied him on the ghost train. They didn't talk much, but he liked the ghost.
Unpopular Opinion:
Do people have polarizing opinions on Sabin? Hm. I think it's equally valid to draw him with a scruffy beard or without. How's that for controversy?
Song I associate with them:
I thought about this, and I came up with "I'm on My Way" by the Proclaimers. It's very upbeat, a little goofy and bouncy, a little forceful but in a jocular way. I can imagine Sabin singing this under his breath as he mountain climbs (or furiously paddles down the river after Ultros).
Favorite picture of them:
The first one that popped into my brain was this gem:
Tumblr media
There he is, covered in who knows what, hauling a whatever-that-is over his shoulder, in the floofiest yellow pants he could buy. He looks absolutely feral, but at the same time, you can see the resemblance to Edgar. I also really like his expression -- gazing off into the distance, something gentle and happy about the set of his mouth. His life isn't for everyone, but it's right for him.
Thank you for the ask!
Meme taken from here.

I was about to submit this on anon bc I'm shy lol but what are some of your writing tips? (if you feel comfortable sharing them ofc) you write SO WELL and I do wonder how you do it. writing is so hard for me 😭 I sit down to write and my brain will go "um no actually you're on your own enjoy <3"
🥺🥺🥺 Sorry it took me a bit to gather my thoughts and also I wanted to keep this ask a little longer cause aaaaaa you're so fucking sweet!!! And also asking me??? Hopefully my advice helps cause I totally get you about the head empty syndrome because I still have that all the time even after writing for forever now lol
So this one might sound redundant, but one of my biggest tips is to read lots of stuff! Books, fic, plays, whatever. Depending on whether you're doing writing as just a hobby or want to develop it into more, reading is the best help for writing. When I first got into smut fic writing, a lot of what I did was just read tons of fics and kind of replicate the sorts of things I'd read. Obviously I don't mean plagiarize, but you can get a lot of inspiration from other people's writing as well as just learning the craft in general, sentence structures and grammar, etc. If you have favorite authors you like, read their books and stories and analyze it like a paper in school and figure out what bits you like and how the author conveys what they're saying.
That being said, there will be tons of practice to be done. Writing is like any other hobby. One of the best things that I find helps me are prompt lists. There's tons on tumblr, of all sorts. You can write them as long or as short as you'd like, or just use their ideas as a jumping off point. I've also found sometimes when I'm stuck on writing something, I'll do headcanon posts, which are just fics in short bullet form. Writing things as bullets in general helps knock things loose, and they're great for outlining stories too. Hell if you're stuck on ideas, writing all your random fic thoughts on paper in bullet form and then later when your brain is fresh you can see them in a new light and maybe something will pop in your head that way.
I'm not sure what other general tips I can suggest besides those... on a smaller level I'd say you can use movies, shows, and music to help give you inspo as well but because they're not written it's hard to get the form down if that's what you're looking for. A lot of my inspo comes when I least expect it honestly, which I know isn't the greatest advice, but it's true at least in my case. I also project hop a lot as well because sometimes I'll get burnt out on an idea and move onto something else which is also a viable thing you can do. Otherwise I think everything I've said before pretty much covers it! I still think reading is the biggest one just because that's how I learned myself, but I say if that or any other combination of things helps then I'd say you're golden!
Writing is a really hard hobby, mainly because inspiration/motivation comes and goes so frequently for me, but I also can't imagine my life without it. Hopefully these help you! I'm always happy to help new writers 🥺💜

i love your writing, but i have to know. how do you outline/plan the plot? your writing seems so good and cohesive and sometimes i find my pacing to be off or i’m rambling off in random directions lol. how are you soo good at keeping it together and concise?
⚠️Long post ahead, TLDR at bottom⚠️
Alright, the first thing I personally do is think of a random snippet of the fic. Maybe I think of a good dialog line while drawing, or I think of a good description for a cool setting while outside. Literally anything works. Whatever pops in your head, write it down. You can expand later. ('I've stopped running' was written off a 3 sentence concept the popped in my head at 2am. I just jotted it down before going to sleep)
Then I pick out what the overall idea I want. Do I want angst? Fluff? Characters interacting? Dialog or description heavy? Inner focus or outward focus (how character thinks vs how character acts)?
Usually, a main character comes to me at some point during this, but if it doesn't, I try to think of the best one for the role. I consider the facts above. Boom! Character(s)!
After that comes the fun part - actually writing out my idea. I don't concept, I don't outline or anything (sorry to disappoint), I just think of the ending. For 'I've stopped running', I knew how I wanted it to start and I knew how I wanted it to end; Kyborg questioning at first, then him getting some sense knocked into him. But the middle part? That comes to me naturally. (By "naturally" I mean I spend 4 hours at school hunched over my computer between assignments, of course).
I don't really know how to explain it- its just easy to write 12 pages when you have a concise beginning and end.
Don't forget that I'm still a beginner writer. My advice probably isn't the best 😅 What helped me immensely was reading books and short stories, gave me many ideas. I'm still working on descriptions, getting a flow that doesn't go all over the place, dialog, etc. (Descriptions are the worst absolute bc I have aphantasia really bad, can't see or hear anything in my brain)
TLDR; My advice is to practice writing things like episodes and podcasts and stuff, which helps me to get a good feel of writing a single plot. Just a lot of writing pre-plotted media, honestly!

Frank, how do I write something?
This is kind of a weird question, because the answer is always "write as you feel, no matter what" but it's easier said than done.
Here is a quick, non-exhaustive list of advice I've heard for writing, from the perspective of a person who writes a lot:
1. Start writing. Right now! I am not very good at this, but it's really important. I get most of my writing done during work hours (even though I work from home).
2. Get started by focusing on a particular idea you want to write about. If you try to write from a topic you don't have much interest in, there will always be a lot to talk about and nothing to say.
For example, when I start a blog, I tend to try to stick to one idea I have about my life story, so I can focus on getting some words out. This one idea is: I live in Berkeley and work on Tumblr. (I don't, in fact, live in Berkeley or work on Tumblr.) I also have a lot of random personal issues I want to talk about when I write.
3. Keep working on a piece of writing until you have an idea of how to end it. I don't often know that, and usually spend a bunch of time mumbling about things to no purpose. (I would do a lot of work on a novel if I ever knew how to end one, but I never do because I don't care what happens afterwards.)
4. Have an idea about the shape and structure of the piece you want to write. I never know exactly how to start a piece until I'm in the middle of writing it. (I have an entire outline of the kind of fiction I want to write at my blog, but it's very messy and vague.) For example, you can't just write in a way that sounds good, you need to be able to give your ideas a beginning and a middle and an end.
5. Don't be scared to start on a piece of writing you don't like. You won't always like what you are writing. As long as you're getting words out, that's all that matters.
6. Write lots of words. It's important to get a big number of words on the page. It doesn't matter if that number is a hundred or a million. Just start writing. I love a huge word count. I hate the feeling I get when there's a plot hole or something that needs to be resolved but I can't figure out how to get from the current scene to the one I want to write.
If you can keep your word count up at a relatively steady rate, then you have a reasonable chance of writing the thing.
7. Don't plan ahead too much. "I'm going to write about x" or "I'll write a bunch of words about y." This is never a great plan and tends to fail every time. Write words. As you write words, eventually you will have enough words to talk about x or y. This will come in an unpredictable order, and you can't always be sure what topic will pop into your head when you sit down to write. The only way to be sure is to get started and write your words.
8. Work as hard as you can on any piece of writing that comes your way. That is, if you are willing to write it. A novel is hard work, and is going to take a very long time to finish. The more writing you try to do, the more chance you have of getting something publishable. But it's not so easy to get published. In general, "am I willing to try" is about as close to a rule I can ever remember. Sometimes a piece that really deserves to be written is not at all worth the effort required, and there's no shame in this. (Some people are even better at writing than I am, which seems paradoxical, but is in fact true.)
9. There are a lot of ways to learn how to write. My own advice is: pick one way to write, and just do it, for a very long time. Read writing advice, but don't focus too much on it. Write a short story or a journal entry or something that can be a test run. Read or watch things that you find interesting. Learn to see what kind of words and sentences come naturally to you when you read something. (My brain is in fact very bad at this.) You're trying to get really good at a particular craft, and one of the best ways to do this is to spend many years writing lots and lots of words.
10. The secret to writing is not to write any particular thing. The secret to most things in life is not to make a plan.
All of the advice I've written here is meant as the kind of "guide" that can really only be given once. It's only a little bit about "how I do things." (Except for advice number 6, which is how I learn about the world. I can't give you that one.) It's not meant to be a complete and comprehensive explanation of how to write anything. But it is at least a start.

Hi, for someone who its just a beginner in writing fanfic do mind to share your process?
Oh god, I feel really bad when people ask me for advice because half the time shit just pops into my brain I had no input in really cultivating it. So when people ask me how I write dialogue-like, man, I don't know. There's a guy talking and I'm just taking down whatever they say.
Honestly, my biggest piece of advice is just to write a lot, and write whatever. Do you have a cool idea for a oneshot and you're not sure if you can pull it off? Write it anyway. You're thinking of a random scene in the middle of what should be a longer story? Cool. Write that. You think this idea is cringy and you would never want anyone else to see it? Write it and let it sit in your Google Docs. Write stuff and never publish it. Write stuff and drop it when it's no longer fun.
Seriously, I have so many Google Docs that are never seeing the light of day. Stuff that I never bothered to finish. Stuff that wouldn't make sense to anyone outside my brain. Weird horny stuff. Hundreds of hours I spent writing this shit. That wasn't wasted time because-well, for one, I had fun writing it, but I was learning what I liked, what sounded good. And don't worry about never having anything to show for it because you will in the process go "oh man, this shit slaps" with something. I've mentioned before that doth wasn't going to be publish originally. Literally every fanfic I have on AO3 started off as "I'm bored, let's get that idea that I've been thinking about while trying to sleep out of my head." Unlike all the other blurbs I've written, I wanted to return to them, hone them into something better, keep writing more. You can't force passion. It just kind of happens, and sometimes it won't happen. That's okay.
Another thing is: write badly. Seriously, your first draft is just a draft. Unless you're a professional author and it's the night before it goes to print, you can always change it. If you're sitting there thinking 'this is gonna sound so bad'? Write it anyway. Chances are it's not actually that bad. Even if it's not great, you have something to edit-you'll never have anything to make better if you never write it in the first place. And if you do come back to it the next day and realize that it's irredeemably awful-you can just delete it. Rewrite it later if you think of something better. But do not just sit around waiting to spontaneously think of the perfect execution for every scene, because it will never happen and then you'll be left with a blank document.
Oh, something I see a lot of younger, newbie fanfic writers do? Writing and posting the same day. I mean, I do it too sometimes, but generally you don't want to do that, even if you're not in the habit of going through multiple drafts. Your brain does get tired. At the very least do the final read-through on a different day. One of my teachers in high school said it was best to let a piece of writing sit for two days without even looking at it before doing the final proofread, because that's how long it takes for your brain to 'forget' what you wrote. You want to read what's actually on the screen, not what you remember writing. He was right. This is good advice for papers too, for all of you still in school.
Also, if you're planning to write fanfic in English then mad fucking props to you, I have a hard enough time speaking it half the time and it's the only language I speak and I have a fucking degree in it.
Writing is a hard thing to give advice for because everyone, and I mean everyone goes about it differently and wildly different stuff works for them. Some writers can only write first thing in the morning-I'm better at night. Some writers need to have a habit of writing X amount every day, no excuses. I can go between writing nothing and writing 4k words the next day-and those 4k dump days are typically where I do my best work. Nothing fits everyone. It's really a process of fucking around and finding out what fits you best.
Oh, and if you're struggling with anxiety or imposter syndrome? If you're too nervous to start the process, or too nervous to post? One thing that helps me is asking myself, what's the worst possible thing that could happen? Are planes going to fall out of the sky? Are you gonna die? Almost certainly not. What is likely to happen? I go through this pretty much every time I post a chapter. I think, "oh man, they've liked everything so far but this is the chapter where they Find Out and make fun of me." (find out what? I don't fucking know. anxiety isn't logical) I just think about all the other chapters I posted that I thought weren't up to snuff, where I thought people would judge me for it-no, they all liked them anyway. In some cases people even said that it was their new favorite chapter. So seriously, just push yourself over that hurdle. You will be glad you did. The most likely outcome is that some people will enjoy it, and the absolutely worst thing that could happen is that someone is mean to you. And honestly, that says more about them than you.

mona whatttttt helloooooo you are such a gift i was not expecting another fic so soon! (even though i am slightly scared of the angst) I would love to know what your writing process is like. you’re awesome 💗
Anon, you are far too kind, thank you so much. 🥹
Honestly, I wasn't expecting to write another fic so soon either, but then again, most of my work is never planned ahead of time, it just spirals out of an idea that pops up in my head that I simply can't stop thinking about. Which is a pretty good summary of what my writing process typically looks like.
Inspiration and motivation to write has a tendency to strike me out of nowhere. A lot of my fics exist because I've been listening to a song when I'm walking to or from work, and a Lestappen idea just plants itself in my brain and refuses to leave until I write the damn thing. And once I get an idea and feel motivated to write it, I do just that: I just sit down and start writing, with about 10-20% of the fic planned out ahead of time while the rest just happen as I go along. When I wrote Devils Roll The Dice (Angels Roll Their Eyes), I only had the major events of the fic planned out ahead of time. Everything else just happened as I was writing.
Depending on how much time I have and just how inspired I feel, sometimes I finish a fic in one sitting, whereas other times I need days or even weeks to finalize it. What type of fic I'm writing also impacts how long it will take to finish. What I struggle with writing the most and what takes the longest for me is actually smut. Angst and fluff has a tendency to flow more easily, while smut often has me sitting there, just staring at my screen for ages.
I also usually write chronologically, as in I start at the beginning and then work my way towards the end. It's very rare for me to write random parts for the fic and then put everything together at the end as my brain simply does not work well if that's the way I'm trying to write. The only exception was of course the collab I did with @f1writingbyme, 19 Times The Grid Saved Lestappen (And One Time They Didn't Need To), but then again, that was a fic that didn't really need to be written chronologically, as it consisted of many smaller individual parts that in most cases could be put anywhere in the fic.
So yeah, that is a little insight into my writing process! Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
You are absolutely wonderful, anon, thank you so much for this ask. ❤️

Continuation of Marco/reader wip I did last time . Couldn't get the idea out of my head. This is just a random wip.
"What happened last night?"
A smirk tugged on the side of your lips, without looking from the direction of the voice you knew it was your hungover commander.
"You lose, that's what happened."
A loud irritated "tsk" could be heard from the other side of the counter, as Thatch rummaged in his secret cabinet. "Really? I thought you got hots for that birdbrain?"
You only chuckled when you heard your commander groan and began complaining. "I think you're the one with a brain which matches the size of a seagull commander. You bet off all your stash last night."
Thatch owlishly stared at you. "Ah, fucking hell. And here I thought you're gonna get laid last night."
"Oh, Thatch you ugly baguette you never learn do you?" As you smiled at him you lent him your packet of cigarettes. "Now fuck off and clean yourself up, so you can help me with lunch afterwards."
"Yeah, yeah. I'm still your commander you know," He grumbled, a light tease breeze passed through his voice.
Unfortunately from the situation he put you through last night was still raw, the tease only flared the annoyance you pushed aside last night. Because, well let's just say you got pretty cornered last night.
Your nosy commander was being helpful in his own way, and you appreciate it really. He was one heck of a man you would dearly fight for because of familial love for him, but you also wanted to strangle him with his own fucking hair from being shit. And now with his hair down like a fucking mop you contemplate if wringing his hair around his neck would even worth the trouble.
The knife in your hand slammed in the chopping board and stared at your commander, although you have to look up so you can properly match his line of sight, the obvious height difference didn't stop one of your eyebrows from tugging up.
"Well, commander, will you please kindly clean yourself up then." And you watched his nerves fried from your unrelenting stare.
"I'm on it, ok," he snapped before stomping off the kitchen, leaving you alone. Thanks to the party last night most of your companions were still snoring in their respective bunk beds from being shit face wasted and exhausted.
As amusing as it was watching your commander lose his nerves whenever you gave him the look of your neutral displeasure, it only reserved with this occasion when it was just the two of you in the same room.
It's your peculiar way of showing affection with how standoffish you came off sometimes, even distant on bad days.
You admitted you got your issues. The world didn't care about how young you were when tragedy happened, you just survived while emotionally and mentally scared.
And up to this day even if you were now living the life of piracy, with a ridiculous amount of crew, being a part of this so-called "big family" was still a dizzying concept to accept for your distrustful ass.
Of course there's your idiot commander and Pops that you trust. You were still on an awful track of work in progress. A very snail pace of progress in your commander's opinion. So Thatch being Thatch decided it was time to intervene, in the most convenient time too.
You thought after last weeks party would led into an awkward encounter with the zoan commander. But no. It was worse, worse than Thatch pulling pranks on you, worse than that idiot friend of yours telling his bread puns for the nth time.
Here you are in the crow nest, chilling for an afternoon break. Desperate for an escape, thinking if you were out of sight, you would be out of his list to annoy.
For the first time in the ship you didn't want to see anything purple, or blond tufted of hair, or blue, especially blue flame in the form of bird or harpy, and even pineapple. You couldn't even enjoy your favorite drink.
An exasperated sigh escaped through your nose when you unconsciously dragged your pencil a little harder from writing down notes for your next project.
Then out of nowhere, not even your observation alerted you of the presence behind you, the only indication you got were the heavy sets of talons perched on your shoulders.
"Can you not?"
The first commander in his bird form chortled and only sagged his weight further on top of your head.
"This is getting ridiculous Marco, with your oversized form you looked like a damn hen incubating my head." Your usual passive voice started to raise.
"I'm trying to help. Thatch told me you're trying to cool off."
"Well, Marco, your definition of help contradicts with what you are trying to achieve."
He leaned his head down over your face, beak almost pecking your forehead. "At least I tried yoi." There's something lingering in his words that didn't sit right with her. As if he was prodding into something that wasn't supposed to be there for him to poke, but somehow he managed to.
Eyes squinted into a glare directed to his lazy pair. This bird! If only he was just a bird you already grabbed his neck and plucked his fiery feathers.
You found his sapphire orbs infuriating as he gazed at you in full attention and interest. Now he dared to seek you out.
"Don't you have better things to do?" You huffed when his fiery feathers tickled your ears and all you could do was stay still, or you'd led him from discovering one of your ticklish spots.
"My work can wait til nighttime. Why are you avoiding me, y/n?"
The scoff dragged out from you was unrestrained of indignation from the offensive inquiry the zoan threw at you. "Me? Avoiding you. What nonsense. Why would I do that when we barely interacted before? Isn't the right question is, why are you seeking me out all of the sudden?" You berated as polite as your patience could take.
What's with the sudden interest? You were sure the explanation you gave him would conclude whatever Thatch led him on from that night. Whatever bet that was it should have ended that night, Marco shouldn't be here annoying you.
"How come I didn't notice you before yoi?" Again he was hanging his head upside down as he stared at you.
Never expected this guy could be a literal birdbrain for a man of his caliber. Now you question your standards for liking him.
A pain right on your forehead abruptly pulled you out of your musing. "Did you just peck my forehead?"
"Yeah?"
This guy, no wonder you rather chill with Vista or Izo besides your commander and your fellow kitchen staff, heck you would even prefer Ace's insecure ass over this bastard right now.
"Real mature first commander. Can you–" the urge of telling him to fuck off like how you treat others halted right at the very back of your throat. He's not one of them and he was still a superior. "Can you get off of me, now."
"If you answer my question."
Well, this was frustrating as fuck. Not even the cold flames from his devil fruit could ease the tension in your head. "Busy with my own thing. Besides you occasionally teased Thatch with me before. But other than that we didn't have any interaction. Don't know why you still bother now."
The talons on your shoulders lifted followed by the weight on your head was removed. You didn't bother looking at him as he transformed back to being human before taking a seat beside you.
"You can blame it on me being intimidated."
"By what?" You almost snorted a scoff at his reply. Yes, by all means be intimidated with a standoffish, five feet four inches female body but stubbornly claims being a man (not a secret anymore thanks to Thatch). Your hands continued writing down the formulas for the next batch and estimation of necessary materials for the next concoction.
"By you. Your presence and how you carry yourself."
"Hmm, it must have been my experience from my previous work." Upon turning your head towards him, you were suddenly caught off with the sight of his smile and eyes that reminded you of the first sight of an ocean after the years of darkness, your first taste of freedom.
"Heh, you really are something yoi. Hope you won't mind if I continue bothering you."
You rolled your eyes but the grin on the corner of your lips betrayed the annoyance you wanted to convey. "Sure as if you're not annoying enough. Just don't blame me if you happen to end up getting drunk." You said as you kept your eyes staring straight at him.
His lids no longer held it's usual droopiness as they showed the sign of attentive glee. "Thanks for the heads up, bartender," he chuckled.
Your observation alerted you the emerging presence of your commander towards the deck and you knew your break time was up. Gathering all your material in your arms, you faced the zoan commander as you took a half kneeling position. He was startled when you lightly tapped his cheeks, taking all his attention towards you.
"It's not a heads up if it's coming from me, Marco. It's a promise."
And just like that you left him in the crow nest without looking back.

My turn, my turn!!
Okay so~ 1, 10 & 31 💜
Hi! And thank you for the ask!
1. What fic of yours would you recommend to someone who had never read any of your work? (In other words, what do you think is the best introduction to your fics?)
Hm, since I write three types of content...
for headcanons, I'd go with "Warlords Opening Up MC's Refrigerator After She's Been Gone Three Months" because it pretty much exemplifies that kind of weird chaos that sometimes pops into my brain.
For short fiction, it would be the story I wrote for your request, A Simple Game, because I really like writing warlords interacting with each other, especially getting to put three smart sneaky warlords like Shingen, Mitsuhide, and Motonari together.
Long fic would have to be Twelve Lies I Told Shingen Takeda - it introduces the multiverse and I loved the idea of Shingen being in a relationship that grew out of friendship, kindness, and mutual respect, rather than out of physical attraction (or if someone just wants to read a smut chapter, there are a couple of those... Buttons being my favorite).
10. How do you decide what to write?
With headcanons, if they aren't an ask, it's usually something that just pops into my head, or is prompted by something that just happened in real life. Like the smoke alarm HC was prompted by being awakened at 3 a.m. by my smoke alarm's dead battery chirp.
All of the short fics on my blog were prompted either by an exchange, or by a chaotic bingo request, so with those, it's mostly noodling around with the prompts until I can think of something that fits the request. I used to do a improv and sketch comedy, so in a sense, it's a similar concept - take the audience's suggestion, and use it to jump off into a scene, but then take the scene to an unexpected twist.
With longfic, usually it starts with something that I can't stop thinking about. The original idea for the Tempest in Time series was just a bunch of scenarios that kept haunting me in the summer of 2020. They weren't leaving my head, so I had to write them down. I knew I wanted to create a multiverse with an OC who would have multiple versions of herself living in different timelines, but would be connected by a frame story involving a mission that needed to be completed across all the timelines, and that my OC would potentially encounter different versions of herself. The initial thought would be that the OC would have a route for every warlord, and I knew that Shingen had to be first, because his canon illness was going to necessitate time travel anyway, so I could take care a lot of the world building and establish the multiverse dilemma naturally (and also his story was the clearest in my mind, and also... well, it's Shingen, he's basically my favorite warlord anyway). And as such, Sasuke would need to be the final story, because it's going to involve a crap ton of time timeline hopping. The order in the middle is random, based on whichever warlord's story I can visualize the clearest. Hideyoshi was supposed to be after Mitsunari's, but what I had planned started feeling too similar to parts of Shingen's, so my next thought was to go to Ieyasu ... but then a certain Kitsune said, "I'm sorry my dear, but I insist you tell my story next," and the plot unrolled in my mind. If I can picture how a story starts, at least three points somewhere in the middle, and how it ends, that's when I know that I can start writing a long fic. Sometimes I have an idea of where somethin starts, but no clue about what happens next, so those just sort of stay marinating in my brain until I can see more of where it wants to go.
And that was a very long answer to a short question... sorry.
31. What’s your ideal fic length to write?
Heh... size doesn't matter. I've got a couple of pieces I love that are less than 500 words each, and one of the longfics clocked in at over 150,000 words (which totally shocked me... I never realized I could write that much).
There's a special challenge in writing the uber-short flash fics, especially if there is a word limit. I can spend more time tweaking a 330 word flash fic than a 3300 word chapter in a longfic.
I like to keep the short fic at less than 5000 words, only because if it starts getting longer than that, then I get tempted to do more world building and add subplots, and all of a sudden it's heading into longfic territory.
What I like about writing longfic is getting to live with a story and the characters for a long period of time. Shingen's story took me 8 months to write, Mitsunari's story took a year... I've hit the 4 month mark on the draft of Mitsuhide's... I like these characters that Cybird originated, and in longfic, I can hang out with them and really get to know them.

Apologies if this has been asked before, but do you have any tips on how to be more proactive writing? I've ADHD and motivation seems to mostly occur late at night. However, work is a thing, so I can't keep writing as long as I may want. I've spent the year writing at least a few words a day, so that's been a big increase from the Not I've been doing before, but I want to increase my writing productivity. Do you have any tips?
This is a time where I wish my Scary Word Count Energy had an actual process behind it beyond "sometimes the neurodivergence hits me in the fact and all I want to do is write."
I used to set word count goals for myself and that helped a lot to get my momentum when I was having a malfunction. (I recommend free phone apps like WordTracker, especially if you like percentages and progress charts.) It lets you set a monthly word goal and then every day you have a set number of words you have to write to reach your goal that adjusts if you write more words or less some days. You'd be AMAZED at how little you have to write to hit 50k a month and there were months where I'd hit 100k.
That's a good motivation starter if you like having something in front of you telling you your goals. The important thing is always just putting the words out there even if they're not polished. The other important part is to just get the basics out there to build a story, so if you're feeling bogged down with descriptions, just keep it simple and go back and add later. If you're a fan of dialogue over narrative, then write the dialogue first. It is way easier to get a story building if you write the dialogue and then fill in the narration around it- at least for me, especially when it's a dialogue heavy narrative. Also dialogue, especially if you love banter and character work, is a lot easier to write.
I also have ADHD and work full time, so even on bad days I try to set around 30 minutes to an hour to write and sometimes I don't write a whole lot in that time, but once you just start making it a habit, it's a lot easier to slam more words into that space and sometimes you just wanna keep going. Sometimes I never get momentum on one project and I use that hour to switch between projects. 500 words between six projects is still 500 words.
I also suggest writing things out of order. Don't even write full stories. Write snippets. Write the stuff that's immediately in your head and make it fit into something else later. I used to follow this person on livejournal who I don't think ever published a full fic of anything- they just posted all of these little snippets of well-written half-formed ideas that popped into their head and it really stuck with me. I used to fill notebooks with stuff like that as a teenager.
I know "just write" is the same advice everyone gets, but it really is the only solution. I've been writing for twenty years across a variety of places in a variety of styles, and I still have days where the words are just not coming for my actual projects so I just write random things and hope one day they'll have a home.
Also this is also basic advice, but nothing makes me want to write more than reading. Not everyone is like that, especially not ADHD-brain people, but from experience even reading a 2k fanfic can make me go omg this made me feel a thing I wanna make other people feel a thing. I'm gonna write!!
Hopefully this helps? I am admittedly very bad at giving advice because nothing about me makes a damn lick of sense.

Hi! Sorry for not sending an ask yesterday, I got caught up in school work, but luckily I’m all caught up now :D
I try to get as much sun as I can when I get the chance. Luckily the sun rises right before I have to walk into the building, so at least I get to watch that :]
Thank you so much for your kind words! Sometimes I can kinda lose sight of how far I’ve gotten since I first started learning. It’s kinda weird, but I can’t exactly put into words why I like Latin. Like, have you ever been drawn to something for no explicable reason? “It scratched an itch in my brain,” is the best way I can put it lol. It just sorta clicked haha
Also yeah, we use the Cambridge Latin Course :D The characters are always so memorable. My friend group was obsessed with Bregans and Grumio lol
I’m glad to know I’m not the only one who gets intimidated by the scale of things sometimes! Still, being able to see Andromeda through a telescope seems really cool! I’ve only used a telescope once or twice, but it’s a way different experience than seeing a picture of it. You realize just how real all of it is. Do you have any favorite things about astronomy? Favorite planets, galaxies, phenomena, anything really :D
I’m glad to hear you’re excited to check them out! I hope you like them. :D I always find it really comforting to see musicians helping each other, it’s sorta like a reminder that there’s good in the world, y’know? It probably sounds a little parasocial, but it just makes me happy to see them happy haha
Also, I’d love a copy of the extended release, if it isn’t too much hassle! I could also keep checking YouTube, it seems like things like that seem to just pop up and then go back down at random haha
I do a little art here and there. I can definitely relate to having a lot of ideas, but not the time or energy to create them haha. I do a little writing, but more research style stuff than narratives. I’m always rotating an idea for an essay around in my head, but I always drag my feet when it comes to actually writing it lol
By the synopsis of your novel, it sounds like something I’d really enjoy reading! I’ve always admired sci-fi writers, it takes a lot of creativity, skill, and knowledge to be able to craft a story like that! Once you finish the book I’d love to read it, if you’d be comfortable with that. What would you say is your favorite part of the writing process? I know some people prefer worldbuilding, while others enjoy crafting the narrative more. Do you prefer one over the other, or do you like something other than one of these two? :D
Sorry again for not sending yesterday’s message! I hope that you’re doing well, and that you have a great day/night! :]

Hello again, no worries! Both anons, please take all the time you need in between asks, ok? It's ok if you can't reply ASAP; I totally understand! Also, I hope your work went well for you! Aww, that's good at least! I know it can be so rough without it 😭 Of course, I'm so happy you found a passion like that and stuck with it! What do you think you'll do once you get through this next bit with it? Oh yeah, I absolutely get that. It's weird how the mind works, but hey; at least you're enjoying it! Those books were the best! I'd like to try to find ours again at some point, I loved learning more and being able to understand more of the story, it was always so exciting! Oh god, I almost forgot about Grumio, Bregans too! Me and my sister liked Quintus and Clemens (who we actually had a cat named after!), and haaaated Salvius from what I can remember lol It's all very hard to comprehend, and when you're forced to reckon with it, it can be so unpleasant! I agree, though; seeing stuff up close is really exciting, even if it is a little scary at first! It really does help you realize that everything is, well, real like you said. When I first saw Jupiter through my telescope, it really was so different from just seeing a picture! Also, personally? I really love Uranus and its moon system, Venus, Mercury, and Saturn and its moon system as well! I don't really like too much outside of our system aside from a few stars, mainly just because of the whole scale thing again lol. What about you?
Thank you again; I appreciate it! I've gotten into a bit of a musical rut, so between you and the other anon, I'll have a lot to get through! And I totally get that; it's nice to see other people happy! It's not an example of musicians working together, but one of my favorite musicians is a good example of seeing other people happy. In a lot of Norma Tanega's songs (like here), you can just hear her smiling as she sings, and that always makes me feel so happy too!
Of course, no hassle at all! I'll keep that in mind for after all this, then. I'll get it uploaded to my dropbox for you after all this!
Ooh, nice! What sort of essays do you like to write? Back when I was in school, I loved writing essays and doing all the research for them. Actually, what other sort of things are you interested in? I'd love to learn more about you! Aww, thank you for the kind words! Sorry again for not sharing much; it's something I'm incredibly passionate about, but worried about showing to the world yet. It's hard sometimes, y'know? And, y'know, I'm actually going to be looking at getting beta readers a few months from now! It'll be once I reach a decent spot, so I'd love to pay you to give some feedback! Ooh, my favorite part? That's tough! I think researching, as well as just letting it marinate in my mind. I don't like not writing, but in the times where I can't write much, it's really refreshing to just run over concepts and ideas I've had. Sometimes, I get big breakthroughs that way! Just recently I was struggling with how to tackle life at the extreme ends of the poles, but after doing a little research, I think I finally got a few leads. It's nice just letting things end up where they end up, y'know? Thank you again for the lovely ask, I really appreciate the time and energy you both put into these. I mean it; it makes my day! Please take care, take all the time you need, and have a great day tomorrow! Talk to you soon!
