*They open up Doomfists office to see him talking to Sombra about a new mission. Sombra sees you and tries taking you from Reaper but you have a tight grip on his cloak and you start whining when she tries taking you.

*Sombra is barely holding back laughs, Doom is smiling and shaking his head, and Widow ALMOST smiles.

*It took 10 minutes for you to release the cloak much to Reapers dismay

*Reaper secretly follows you two to your nursery and watcher Sombra lay down in your crib with you and hold you close also falling asleep

*He thought maybe you weren't so bad after all

*When Sombra does has to have someone watch you its Reaper since you love him and think he's so cool looking.

*If Reaper isn't available it's Sigma

*Last resort is Mauga and Moira. She was scared Mauga was gonna hurt you not that he ever would ofc. Sombra is scared Moira will do some weird experiments on you.

*Moira has a fascination with littles but she's kind to you and has offered to look after you.

*When you have tantrums Sombra knows exactly what to do to make you stop. She threatens to tell Reaper.

*THAT alone makes you stop almost instantly but in the rare chances it doesn't she gets Reaper in your nursery and he just stands there.

*It makes you stop immediately and look down in shame. He just looks to Sombra and nods then leaves.

I love your interpretation of Reyes son and I was wondering what his relationships would be with characters like you mentioned Illari and Reyes maybe even some overwatch and talon agents. Also what is your vision for his kit you always have such fresh takes with your designs and headcanons so I would love to hear about this🖤

I've honestly played with R.J's personality a lot, initially he was going to be a calmer more sarcastic character like Kiriko and Illari. However that has changed the more I've designed and written him. He's now basically optimism personified. Honestly my best comparison for him personality wise is Telemachus in Epic the Musical. I honestly want to take the "there's too much negativity in the world already, we need more positivity".

How this effects his relationships with other characters though is interesting. With Reaper he doesn't necessarily believe or hope he'll change, however if he does R.J would be the first to accept him back with open arms. However what his present dynamic with Reaper is basically "I mourn the man you were, not the monster you've become".

With Illari it's very much opposites being friends vibes, they are pretty much foils, including in the way they view death and guilt. They both lost a lot at a young age but the big difference was that R.J had a support system. Honestly I think a few interactions would be R.J asking Illari to hang out or come over for dinner.

I think the other Overwatch agents he would be close to are Cassidy and Pharah (basically his older siblings), Ana and Jack. I have a few headcannons regarding these guys, like Cassidy visiting and contacting the Reyes family whenever he could so he and R.J still gave a close relationship, Pharah being the opposite and being so busy with work that she lost contact with him and Martina, Ana having a fairly negative relationship with Martina because of how she treated Pharah and how that affected her dynamic with R.J, Jack honestly feeling nothing but guilt when talking to R.J because of the life R.J lost with Gabriel's "death".

When it comes to Talon agents it's a bit more complicated. I think the only two he wouldn't get along with would be Doomfist and Moira, both on principle and due to how they affected his life. With Sombra I think he'd draw a comparison between her and Cassidy, that or bring up her past with Los Muertos (another HC of mine is that Martina and RJ are living in Dorado). I think he'd also be very curious about Widow and Sigma, likely hearing about them growing up.

These are honestly things I'm going to explore in an interaction post once I plan on making after I finish with his design.

As for his kit, I haven't finalised anything yet but the main thing I want to do is give him kit based on close-mid ranged combat. I also want to give him a kit that fairly high mobility acrobatic kit style along with a stun ability, either as his ultimate or just as an ability.

Inktober's back on! THE SUPER PUNCH!Inks 7-15/31! Featuring(deep breath): Saitama, Doomfist, Captain Falcon, Goku, Kenshiro, Deku, All Might, Superman, and the Hulk!

I've been brainrotting over this for weeks because Overwatch and Star Wars are two of my fave content to consume and I've been in both these fandoms for so long so-

Overwatch Star Wars au, where Overwatch were the Jedi Order, Blackwatch were Jedi shadows/sentinels.

Reyes as a Jedi Shadow and his little unconventional padawan Cole Cassidy, former teen criminal with enormous potential in the force that Reyes decided to pick up and train despite his age and past.

Ana and Jack are Jedi Masters and part of the council.

The fall of Overwatch would happen very similarly to Order 66, where most of the members get killed and hunted down.

Gabriel Reyes "dies" similarly to Anakin Skywalker and in his place emerges Sith Lord Reaper. As does Talon, similarly to the birth of the empire. Not all Talon members would be Sith ofc. I imagine Doomfist at the very least would be. While Widowmaker is the wife of Senator Lacroix, similarly to in game lore she gets kidnapped and brainwashed. Sombra is probably a mercenary working for Talon. Moira is an inquisitor, former Jedi sentinel, she enjoys capturing former jedi and torturing/experimenting on them, she's responsible for the fall of many former jedi turned inquisitors.

For our Overwatch people, they're also not all going to be Jedi. Ana and Jack, obv. With their respective padawans Fareeha and Lena. Winston as well, plus Angela as a Jedi Healer. Reinhardt and his padawan Brigitte.

Genji would've been part of the Shimada clan, a group of force users that kept themselves separated from Jedi or Sith. Same as in Canon he'd be cut apart by Hanzo and saved by Angela, after which he joins the Jedi. He leaves a few years before the fall to find himself and goes to the monks in the temple of Jedha, where he meets Zenyatta, a force user who is neither jedi nor Sith, not good nor evil, he's in the balance and so he decides to study under him. Hanzo on the other hand completely abandons his lightsabers, same as he stops using his sword in game after "killing Genji".

Post Recall members:

Baptiste as a former Talon Inquisitor, joins the reformed Overwatch and learns how to heal instead of killing.

Cassidy takes on Hana as a padawan and with her he rejoins Overwatch (who he had ditched a little before the fall after having grown disillusioned with them and seeing the corruption that was brewing inside). He does however spend a long time as a merc before taking back his lightsaber and accepting himself as a jedi.

For now this is all my little peabrain could come up with. Mind that the story revolves mainly around Jack, Gabriel and Cassidy. As they kind of replace Obi-wan, Anakin and Ahsoka. (No Jack was not Gabriel's master but they had a strong brotherly bond like Obi-wan and Anakin so I think they fit the roles pretty well).

I do however have some more details on the characters I managed to fit in.

Ana and Fareeha are not mother and daughter but they're from the same clan and they're both Mirialan, they do have a mother and daughter relationship tho. They both have blue lightsabers.

Jack also has a blue lightsaber and he's the order's grandmaster.

Gabriel wields two lightsabers, one purple and one blue, they both turn red after his fall.

(I'm considering making Jack and Gabriel the children of the prophecy. Which they both fail by fighting eachother instead of being in balance. Jack as the light side of the force and Gabriel as the dark side. Kinda like on mortis we have the son and the daughter and the balance gets upset by the son killing the daughter- So yeah Gabriel has completely fallen to the dark side and intent on destroying the light side while Jack is grey-ish and obsessed with revenge and justice, they're terrible at their jobs.)

Cole wields one lightsaber, green. His skills in the force far outclass his lightsaber skills, especially since he greatly favours wielding a blaster in his other hand. He was actually discovered as force sensitive because of his pin point accurate shots. Which he later discovers to be guided by the force and that for years he's unknowingly used the force to guide his aim as well as even maneuvering the blaster fire (basically giving him the equivalent of deadeye in this universe).

Hana has a blue lightsaber, though with her being a pilot and being trained by Cole she's also an accelent shot and doesn't rely too heavily on her lightsaber.

Winston is a lasat, he wields a green bladed saberstaff, though he's more of a scholar than a fighter. (Like Plo Koon he can use the jedi technique of electric judgment)

Moira never made her crystals bleed and she wields a purple and a yellow lightsaber. While she is an inquisitor she's not Sith. She doesn't use the dark side to fuel her, preferring science and force techniques from either side of the force, knowledge is knowledge and she wants it all.

Lena has a blue lightsaber and a blue shoto. She's also an accomplished pilot and it's usually her or Hana that are flying the crew around. Though Hana specialises in combat flying much more compared to Lena.

Baptiste has a white lightsaber, after having healed his own crystal.

Angela has a green shoto, she really only uses it in self defence since she heavily dislikes having to result to violence and her abilities are much more focused on force healing. She's strong enough to be able to bring someone back from the brink of death (which is what she did with Genji).

Genji has a green lightsaber and a green shoto, tho he also uses various tools at his disposal, like traps or smoke bombs.

Hanzo used to have two blue lightsabers, but he's since put them to rest and now favours an energy bow. Similarly to Cassidy he uses the force to guide his aim, making him a formidable sniper.

Doomfist has a red Saberstaff and he's a kiffar! (He's always wearing gloves or gauntlets of some kind since he has psychometry)

Hi! I'm very new to the overwatch Fandom and am currently obsessing over your fan kids (specifically Seye bc I don't see a lot of doom content and I love him) ANYWAY, doomfist does die, right? If so, who is it that kills him, and how do Seye and his mother react? I did read the post about Seye eventually destroying the doomfist with some help, but am super curious about some of what happens in between and after :>

To be honest, I used to be SUPER protective and vague when it came to stuff at this stage of the story I wanted to tell with my fankids, and was also being sadly dangled along by Blizzard's breadcrumbs of lore---I was in a dance with Blizzard where, I did have a very strong idea of how I wanted the story to end, but I was also dependent on Blizzard for canon lore so that I could make my ending the most accurate, the most satisfying. But seeing as there's basically only lore drops now because Blizzard no longer gives a shit about continuity or quality, and basically the cast has expanded so much since I initially plotted it out that I'll probably have to reconfigure this ending in some capacity anyway, I can talk about it now.

Basically there were two avenues I could have taken with Doomfist, the first one, that actually had those Marsey fics, where it was basically a 'continuation' of the Doomfist cycle, that is, some guy challenges Doomfist for the gauntlet and is able to kill him and take the gauntlet, which obviously puts Seye into a lurch as Doomfist's son and the previously assumed successor. I literally didn't have a name for this would-be killer, and in a way, it didn't really matter because you as the reader weren't supposed to see Doomfist's killer as the rightful bearer of the mantle and Seye's whole arc would be defeating this guy (with Marti's help) and then basically shutting down the weird Metal Gear-esque war cult that's risen around the Doomfist gauntlet as a symbol.

The other option was that Doomfist would be killed in the Final Battle™ at Nepal by... drumroll... Junkrat and Roadhog. NOW BEFORE YOU YELL AT ME, Junkrat and Roadhog would also die in this fight. Roadhog would die before Junkrat, but Junkrat would basically be talking to a very clearly bled-out-past-the-point-of-no-return-and-unconscious Roadie like, "It's okay, Roadie, you can take a nap. I can wrap this up," Before pulling all of the pins on all the grenades on his little chest harness while clinging onto Doomfist. Okay you can yell at me more now. But mostly I loved the combination of dramatic irony of Doomfist being consumed in these fires of chaos, and of the ~Junkers~ of all people going out in a blaze of glory against one of Overwatch's Final Bosses. I had this in my brain for years before Junkrat even got his "I killed the Doomfist!!" elimination line, btw. Doomfist views conflict as its own sort of order, but ends up getting killed by the wacky Mad Max randos who have kind of been the comic relief this whole time. Basically the fact that the Doomfist gauntlet itself would also be destroyed in this kind of fight would aslo be the thing that ends the cycle. That was also the battle that was vaguely referenced in this fic.

In both potential deaths for Doomfist, Seye becomes disillusioned enough with Talon as an organization to basically split off and form his own splinter mercenary organization (I was going to use my Talon Goon OC's as his starting lineup, haha), and he also attempts to create his own mantle as "Earthshaker" but he's still deeply affected by Doomfist's death because that's so much of his identity and he's had this enormous fear of irrelevance all of his life. Like this isn't just the grief of losing a father, this is the threat of oblivion that he's dreaded his entire life. As for Seye's mother, Tejuka, it's less of a blow to her--she more or less came to terms with the fact that Doomfist really doesn't have the philosophy or lifestyle to "go peacefully in his sleep," and that's one of the reasons why they divorced and she put so much effort into grooming Seye to actually be the successor of Ogundimu Prosthetics. Dying is easy, living's harder, etc, etc.

Since listening to Labour Paris Paloma caught me in a loop of an idea with Rumiko, the Shimada clan, The elders and also The Hashimoto Clan. Mainly with the fact this idea kept popping into my head more then once which of course I have to make this into a headcanon

AGAIN TRIGGER WARNING FOR ABUSE & VIOLENCE!!!

As much as I want her to be in a loving situation with Sojiro and her sons...I have to remember she got married into the Yakuza clan, with the elders who I personally think never liked her. Rumiko truly loved Sojiro but she worked hard to the point she stressed out.

She does have scars on her, injuries from the elders/the hashitmoto goons as well.

Again I do believe she has gotten into physical altercations with the elders more then once about her boys. Same with the Hashimoto clan as well. One thing does to my head is that she was glad she only had sons and not daughters for many reasons.

Her personal relationship with the elders always have been rocky, even to the the point were she has fought for her life/protecting her sons + Kiri.

She has a few scars on her hands mainly for finding random objects to protect herself/her family. I might make this into a prompt one day with a scar on her hand as I like to think it was another encounter with the Hashimoto goon were she took a vase/glass candle holder and smashed it hard on them.

I like to think her scars are more on the hands, arms, legs, and stomach/chest area. She's not a fighter, though she will cut a bitch if need be.

Again she's not a killer but she has killed once in a previous prompt I made a long time ago and it traumatised her badly. To make matters worse she tends to lie to Sojiro and the people around her that she's fine when in fact she's not.

I love my girl so much, but there could be so many reasons why she left the clan. She tends to get paranoid for the safety of the people she loves. Let alone she knows that Sojiro loved and cared for her but I think he noticed how stressed out she was and Sojiro tried to comfort her to the best of abilities again he had no idea why she's paranoid with the elders but tried to accommodated her needs and safety.

To me Rumiko is tragic character that we have no clue about, but like I said he loved her family truly but her leaving caused so much trouble allowing the balance to be off.

She has no idea that her sons are alive and she cannot let Asa know she's alive either because of how things went down. (Since again I'm positive that she asked Asa to care for her sons)

Rumiko is someone who I need to know and I'm sure certain character like LW,Ashe, and probably Doomfist have at least met Rumiko once.

I do believe she's alive but she wouldn't be scared of her sons nor would she be scared of Kiriko either. The clan life wasn't met for her that's for sure. Again to me she had an Ursa moment from ATLA since I'll keep basing Rumiko on Ursa because of the similar yet different situation they had.

Bad Guys: Prime Time Crime

There are numerous criminal organizations that can oppose Overwatch.

Anti-Midnight

The Deadlock Gang is a major crime gang in the New West. Their criminal acts how gotten on Overwatch’s radar before. Not to mention that the prevalent Overwatch member Coke Cassidy is wanted painfully dead by Ashe, the leader of the Deadlock Gang. However, if one looks back at the trailer for the PvE and looks hard, one can see Ashe fighting side by side with Winston and Mercy. So, I doubt they’ll be causing us much trouble in the PvE.

Till Death Do A Part

The Los Muertos gang has already been attacked by Soldier 76. And if little Alejandro could figure out he was an Overwatch member, then I’m sure the gang members could. And when Overwatch shows up, the Los Muertos Gang may take an opportunity to settle the score.

The Sleeping Dragon

The Shimada Clan was one of the most powerful crime gangs. Overwatch launched several attacks on the clan, giving the clan good reason to strike at the newly reformed Overwatch. Doomfist has confronted Hanzo about resurrecting the clan, but Hanzo has denied any suggestion. Ultimately, it is incredibly unlikely that the Shimada Clan has any forces present in the story mode.
