(been rewatching some of those totk critique vids i liked in the past and now seeing the cutscenes again, espeically when compared to botws, ......... the way the characters move and everything is so stiff?? like i didnt rly notice it when i played the game bc i watched each scene once and never looked back bc i was so bored but now i see just ... like sometimes it feels like all thats missing is the mouse someones using to slightly move the model on its rig in real time- or the way the characters talk feeling alot more like the classical mouth open mouth closed bwabwabwa- especially on rauru and mineru

i dont wanna sound like im literally trying to find something wrong with everything of that game but ... it looks so static- like the way the champions in botw moved while talking already gave you a bit of extra character but in totk they all just kinda .. do the basic movement and move their jaw enough to imply talking?? am i crazy?? like its not that extreme in every single moment but for most of them ... right?)

-not really the point in itself but also bc i just saw the first cutscene you get after zelda gets to da paaaast again ... how the hell do sonia and rauru even find zelda.. like, its possible she was lying on the ground for a while but even then, hyrule is so BIG what are the chances that the king and queen just where there exactly, its not like she was carried by a giant bird and dropped into a tree (ww), she just kind materializes and gently plops into long grass. like its not even a cosntruct that finds her, or some hylian, no its them specifically (couldnt you have used the lil heehoo look how rich in personality da king is actually bc he sneaks out to hunt sometime info for that? .. he was out on a hunt and found her or sth? no? another case of plot shortcuts or whatever you want to call it?)-

Something happened that made it necessary for Danny, Dani, Jazz, Sam, and Tucker to be reincarnated into the DC universe. They don't remember a single thing about their past lives (or even feel a vague recollection of each other) until they get sucked into a ridiculous situation involving magic, alternate versions of themselves, and a ghost from an alternate dimension with a grudge.

(my ideas for who they reincarnate as under the cut)

Tucker as Michael Holt, aka Mr Terrific. Or Victor Stone, aka Cyborg, if you prefer. Both work pretty well personality wise and tech wise. (yes they were the first two that popped into my head that wasn't lex, bruce, or barbara how did you know? but now that i'm thinking about it maybe toyman would work too personality wise.)

Sam as Pamela Isley, aka Poison Ivy. I was toying with the idea of Mari McCabe, aka Vixen, but decided against it because their ideologies don't match as well and Mari is more level headed in my opinion.

Jazz as Harleen Quinzel, aka Harley Quinn. Although, I did want to make her Joan Leland because she did successfully rehabilitate an arkham inmate and wasn't an inmate herself, but there's not much info I can find on her.

Dani as M'gann M'orzz, aka Miss Martian or Megan Morse. Although, it could make sense to make her either of the Wonder Girls (Donna or Cassie) or Supergirl (Kara) or Mary Marvel (Mary Bromfeild).

Danny as Hal Jordan. I was tempted to make him Clark, but personality and goal wise, it doesn't make sense. Hal on the other hand makes a lot of sense once you think about it.

After a LOT of outfit/pallete trial n error I think I’m finally close to having an actual style down for Ordovic.

Main reason I haven’t wanted to practice drawing him as much was because I didn’t have a solid idea of his outfit and what his whole pallete should be, and so have spent months slowly circling ideas and poking at it.

I love writing Dandelion because he's a performer. An unreliable narrator of his own life. He exaggerates and lies through his teeth and will dig and dig and dig into the backstory of a friend but clam up the second you ask him anything about his own and find ways to deflect and demure. He's hyperaware of how people view him and just doesn't seem to care. If you think he's a silly bard without a brain that's how he'll act for you and if you only see him as a flirt who makes terrible jokes that's how he'll act for you, he puts on whatever mask he thinks people want most from him which is why it's so compelling that his bestest friend in the whole wide world is Geralt - a Witcher who can effortlessly see through it all and strip him down to his bones if he wants to

dont think this is likely bc im not sure what the doctor is taking from this experience with yaz is actually For The Love Of God Communicate but i think it would be so funny if 14, in reaction to how she lost time with yaz and also actually ryan by keeping them at arms length and not telling them about herself, would just swing completely the other way and become an incorrigible oversharer

been putting on some old mumbo hermitcraft (s5) as background noise recently and. y'know it's sorta the clearest case study in "don't hand people the whip" I've seen? like he used to self deprecate a lot more in his videos back then, 'branding' himself as a massive spoon (jokey/slang way of calling himself an idiot) and all that, and the comments similarly are a lot harsher than they are on his newer videos.

harsh might not be the best word? they all maintain the same sorta tongue in cheek half jokey tone he uses when self deprecating but they are notably more critical and presumptively so than the ones in his recent videos
