A strange day it was, Midorya Izuku thought as his mind would constantly wander back to the two strange men who'd teleported into UA with a stealth that could rival the League of Villains. His frown managed to worm its way to his expression from the rest of the school time, to the point even Katsuki seemed to feel a sliver of concern (knowing him well, Izuku found it easy to tell, even if the boy wouldn't show it). He scribbled into what must've been his nineteenth notebook or so, drawing out stick figures of the intruders–although many details were missing. It was similar to a mini diary entry, as he recounted the story inside the lines of the pages. It felt like if he didn't record the happenings, he'd suddenly forget, and wouldn't be able to recall them as time passed. For Izuku, this was one of many evils which terrified him–being unable to remember truth and memories which he held dear.

"Heya, Deku." Kaminari slid from All-might-knows-where with his trademark grin, tilting his head with an endearing look. It was the sort of look which one couldn't help but feel comfortable with, the sort which would manage to make you smile even in the most tense of situations. Izuku returned the smile with a nod, a quiet greeting under his breath–it was sort of embarrassing to get caught in your thoughts, like being caught exercising in your room secretly. "Watcha thinking about?"
