Jackie swam downwards, schools of fish parting around him as he moved quickly. It was dimly lit down here in the twilight zone, but he could see lights on the ocean floor. “We saw the image you told us to keep an eye out for,” the woman was saying. “With the trident.”
“On a boat?” Jackie asked.

“We didn’t dare get close enough to see,” the woman said.
“That’s... worrying. I-is anyone missing?” Jackie looked around at the other merms in the village. He saw an older merm instructing a younger one on how to weave a shirt. A few more returning from hunting with bags of fish. Others swam from house to house, visiting their neighbors.
A handful of small kids swam around, the red scales on their tails dotted with white, tossing a ball back and forth. One of them spotted Jackie and stopped short, eyes wide. She reached out to the others, tapping them for attention.
“No, not that we know of,” the older man said. “We all hid inside while it passed overhead.”

“In a moment, okay? I have a very important talk with your elders to get to,” Jackie said patiently. “Do you all know about that boat that passed overhead?”
“When we had to stay inside?” One of the kids asked.
“Yes, exactly. That was something very dangerous. You should always listen to the rest of the village when they say to hide.”
“So that the protectors can take care of it?” the first kid asked again.
Jackie nodded. “Yep. We know what to do.” Usually. This TridentCorp business... it felt like all they could do was wait for them to make their move, staying on the defensive the whole time. Protectors like him had trained to help other merms. But how could he help them against a human group that spanned the globe? Shaking off these thoughts, he began to swam away. “I’ll be right back if you want to hear stories, okay?”
“Awww.” The kids were clearly disappointed, but they waved goodbye soon enough and went back to playing with their ball, grabbing it before it floated too far away.
Jackie followed the older merms into a building, going through a wide entrance. The inside was completely open, a hollow sphere. The merms gathered around a table, its surface lifted on a tall rock spire to be in the exact center of the room. “Tell me more about this thing on a tether,” he said.
“We’re not sure what it was, like I said, no one got close enough to see,” the woman said.

The woman gasped. “What should we do? Should we move? Our school has been settled here for generations!”
Jackie’s tail fluttered nervously. “If you think you must. TridentCorp wants to capture merms, to study them. They could not possibly grab all of you...” Could they? “But anyone who wanders out on their own could be in danger. You should all stay close to the village for a while. Have your mage send a message for more protectors to come help watch.”
The meeting continued for a while as Jackie helped the elders make a plan to protect their school. It was similar to other plans he’d made with other schools, but this was the first one that had a TridentCorp ship pass directly overhead. They were getting closer. He just had to hope they wouldn’t get too close before they had a solid plan.

@taylornation my service dog, Taylor, and I loved hearing @taylorswift on Jimmy Kimmel tonight! My parents and I improvised home hospital bed holiday decor and Swiftie representation in celebration. Hope you like it!
My service dog, Taylor, and I both loved the show. Don’t let him fool you that he‘s asleep. He does this all of the time: he closes his eyes, he listens to conversations, he listens carefully as he learns new words, and he listens to pick up on anything that he already knows. He’s smart enough to concince others that he’s asleep, but he’s not smart enough for me to not pick up on his sneakiness lol (this includes: how he wasn’t snoring like he does when he’s asleep, he was tuned to me and the show–his right ear was angled to listen to me, my body, and my words while his left ear was aimed at and tuned into the screen, and how we battled–he wanted to be BASICALLY WITH HIS FACE ON THE SCREEN and I kept shoving him back so I could see the screen past his cute lil nose, and the fact that HE DOES THIS FAKE-SLEEPING ALL THE TIME AND I KNOW HIS GAMES. Lol. Even he knows that I know his games. This one I still allows him to do, as it has no health impact, he’s still precious and he’s still helping me AND, as an added bonus, he’s adorable)
He understands full sentences, listens to learn more, and picks things up. He’s a big fan, too, and has been to 3 Tay concerts. He’s a very good boy and my little (not so little) Swiftie pup
Loved watching Taylor with MY Taylor tonight. I laughed, smiled, and blogged like I always did. My disabilities and home hospital bed didn’t get in the way too much tonight with my ability to be an enthusiastic Swiftie. Instead, I decorated with what I could reach and what we have left, making tonight a celebration like I always have for fandom events. Feels nice to have a night without disability and other chaos ensuing for once, then also sharing it with both Taylors and with evermore
Loved this marvelous time tonight watching Tay on Jimmy Kimmel: my home hospital bed decorated festively and Swift-like, my body mostly cooperating, and doing everything alongside my lifeline, tiny friend, blanket-hogging (not kidding that the dog wants to be tucked in), cuddly furball, and fellow fan: MY Taylor 💘

“Good grief what is he going to think about this, I wouldn’t doubt if that little pup already noticed.. and was enjoying the show…” Their train of thought concluded, as a rare blush began to creep onto their face… A gut feeling told them they wouldn’t be hearing the end of this anytime soon. Although that could be due to not eating dinner just yet.

Would you write something angsty with pregnant Omega Hux going into labor without Kylo? Perhaps after being kidnapped or severely injured and having a premature little girl who they aren’t sure will survive? Happy ending though, please.
Hux had been counting along with the gaps of each contraction but with the pain from his labour and the pain of his broken ankle and various bruises that litter his body, he’s lost count. And with the better part of a month still remaining until he’s meant to reach full term, Hux is trying his best not to panic at his early labour.
It would seem as though his captors are happy to let him suffer alone in his enclosed cell. He has no clue what planet he’s on but the basicness of his holding cell—like a small box with four solid walls and no windows—tells him that it can only be pirates looking to ransom him. Rebels wouldn’t keep a pregnant omega in such dingy holdings.
“Deep breaths,” Hux mutters to himself, sliding his trousers off and lowering himself to his knees. Whispering calming words to himself is the best source of comfort he’s got in this situation; what he needs is Kylo.
Hux prays that his alpha is tearing apart every nearby planet to look for him and their unborn child—though the latter won’t remain so for much longer. He needs to push, letting his instincts take over as he arranges his discarded jacket and pants into a pile beneath him, hoping that his baby will nestle atop them safely.
“Fuck.” Everything hurts. It’s a terrible position for his broken ankle but he isn’t his priority right now; his pup is. “Where are you, Ren? Fucking find me. Please.”
The tears are a mix of frustration and of pain as Hux bears down and pushes, biting his wrist to try to deal with the pain of the labour. It wasn’t supposed to be like this. Like everything else in his life, he’d planned out the birth to the finest of details, including the first outfit that his and Kylo’s beautiful baby would wear. He would have given birth in his nest and cradled his pup all night long with their alpha watching over them, knowing that they are all safe and warm.
Not anymore. Now, he isn’t certain that his premature pup will make it.
“Ah!” Hux tries to keep his shouts and moans to a minimal but the pain is searing. His eyes are clenched shut as tears fall and cries slip through his gritted teeth. “Ren! Please.”
A few more minutes of intense pushing and Hux slumps down in exhaustion as his baby is born, falling free from him onto his pile of clothes. Her cries are a good sign but as Hux manoeuvres himself around to see her, he can’t believe how small and frail she looks. He should be happy that he’s finally meeting her and holding her, not feeling so terrified that these are the only moments that he’s going to be able to spend with her.
“Hi, darling,” he whispers to her, cutting the cord with the knife from his boot and kicking away—with his good ankle—the mess of ruined clothes covered in blood and afterbirth. He hurries to take off his undershirt—leaving him completely naked—and wraps her up in it and holds her snugly against his chest for warmth.
Despite the peril, he’s so in love with her already. She feels so familiar in his arms, such familiar features on her face; she looks just like Kylo.
“You’re so precious,” he kisses the top of her head, making sure that his shirt covers her completely. “So beautiful. We’ll be okay, darling. Your father will be here soon, okay? Let’s hold on for him, hm? He’s going to want to meet you.”
Hux shuffles back into the corner of his cell and weeps quietly, bunching himself up to keep his body as warm as he can to keep her warm. She’s all that matters now. His need to nest is driving him crazy but he hasn’t got anything to work with so he keeps talking to her to distract himself from his instincts and to, hopefully, comfort her with his familiar voice.
An explosion from outside makes the walls of Hux’s cell shake but he isn’t afraid. He’d know the sound of a Ren-made explosive anywhere; he’s here. There’s more commotion outside, the glorious sounds of his captors being struck down like the vermin they are before everything falls silent, except for the baby’s gentle cries.
Hux can feel his alpha getting closer.
The hidden door into the cell swishes open and reveals a dark silhouette in its frame, one that is tense with anger.
“Ren!” Hux can’t help but sound desperate as he cries out for his mate, watching as Kylo gestures for something to someone outside the door before rushing to Hux’s side.
He throws his helmet off and removes his hooded cape, draping around his nude omega as soon as he’s close.
“Armitage,” Kylo says softly, desperately. “Are you—?”
“I’m fine, Ren. But she needs medical attention.”
“I know,” Kylo kisses Hux’s forehead and hugs him, looking down to their fussing daughter. “I felt your pain. I knew you’d gone into labour. I followed the sounds of your cries for me through the Force.”
“Supreme Leader!” Medics and droids dash inside the cell wielding all sorts of medical instruments, including a floating incubator.
“Take her,” Hux says to the medics, allowing Kylo to gently remove her from his hold—though the alpha takes another moment to look at her and kiss her head before giving her to one of the medics to place her inside the safety of the incubator, still nestled inside her mother’s undershirt.
One of the spherical, floating droids comes closer to the little girl’s side and scans her, beeping to signal completion.
“She’ll be fine, sirs,” the head medic says after listening to one of the droid’s initial reports. “First readings show that she’s doing well for her size but will need to be watched closely for a few weeks. We’ll get her back to the ship right away.”
The Knights Of Ren are waiting silently to escort the medics and their precious cargo back to their shuttle, while Kylo has a quiet moment with Hux.
“Can you stand?” The alpha asks, making sure that his cape is covering what it can of Hux’s modesty.
“No,” he replies, gesturing to his swollen ankle. “It’s broken.”
Kylo nods before manoeuvring his omega into his arms, holding him against him like he weighs nothing. Hux breathes a heavy sigh of relief, feeling safe again now that he’s in Kylo’s arms. He nestles into him, resting his head on his shoulder.
“You must be exhausted,” Kylo says, kissing Hux’s head.
“Going through hours of labour without any pain medication and without my mate by my side? Of course not, Ren,” Hux huffs, feeling so incredibly sleepy. “It’s just what omegas do.”
Kylo chuckles quietly, “I don’t doubt your strength, Armitage.”
“I would have been stronger with you beside me,” Hux says, unable to stop his quiet purring. “I hate that you weren’t there with me, and she didn’t meet you straight away.”
“I felt her in the Force. She’s a fighter.”
“I know,” Hux says as they exit the ruins of the pirate’s hideout and board the ship with their pup’s incubator next to them.
Kylo keeps Hux in his lap whilst medics work to look at his injuries and find some fitting clothes for him but both parents are just fixated on their baby girl, staring at her through the clear material of her floating incubator.
It may not have been the birth that Hux wanted to have but their daughter is here and all is well.

The krogan they sent with the geth stomps down the gangway, carrying something over his massive
shoulders. Purple droplets fall to the white deck before fading on the unstainable, self-healing alloy the Protheans use. It is still snow-white fifty thousand years after whatever caused this place to be abandoned.
He dumps his load with a dismissive grunt. The body of Emyni Jaega tumbles to the plating, the left side of her face a rotting, charred gap and her vivid teal skin almost black with discoloration and decay. Liara's friend. Her mentor in field work. "Files say this one had a krogan father," her tormentor huffs. "Guess that's why the bitch got a piece of me."
He taps a crater dug deep into the bone-plates of his forehead, one of the few parts of a krogan that never heals. Warpfire has ripped apart the bones atom by atom, down to the pale layers closest to the skin. A few centimeters more and the forelobes of his brain would have melted.
He kicks the body out of his way and it tumbles off the platform, landing with a thud somewhere below.
Don't cry, Liara reminds herself. Don't spit at him. Don't use your biotics. You can't spare the water.
"She did," Liara replies. "And her wife is ten times the krogan you are! After I pull your vast'kak from your spine, I will give them to her for a grave-trophy. She can chase down your pups by their sire's stink."
"Hah!"
He waggles a giant finger at her and pulls a hunk of charred varren meat out of a bag on his hip.
"I like you."
He keeps talking, but she's too exhausted to piece together the words.

A bang that reverberates through the cavern jars Liara from the half-sleep she had been languishing in. Dragging her eyes open, she sees a pair of the pale gray geth slam into the barrier field clad in ice blue biotic fields. The machines twitch and chirp and struggle until two shots ring out, striking each through the optical housing on the head and stilling them instantly.
"Hello!" Liara calls out, not even sure she's making any sound dragging air over her aching tongue. "I'm trapped! I need help."
"Doctor T'Soni, I presume?"
With a hiss of recaptured air, the huntress removes her helmet.
"Goddess."
Rather than scaled crests and Serrice Guard tattoos or a House T'Soni diadem of rank, the helmet reveals a human woman with pink skin dusted with tawny speckles, eyes the dangerous green of tideglass shards in the moonlight and hair like a blast of wildfire: messy, red and curling.
"You're human."
The sob rushes up her chest and out her throat. She shakes her till her body aches.
"Commander," the quarian murmurs. "She's dehydrated. Badly. She's delirious like I would be after a suit failure."
"Place reeks of Garatog. Been stuck in the field a long time. Tough little pyjak," the krogan rumbles.
"Less chatter, more options. I need her out of that field and patched up."

Hands pry her lips open--none too gently--and Liara thrashes, flinging what biotics she can. A stasis field clamps tight around her body, stilling her below the neck.
"Easy! I'm not going to hurt you. It's just water. Here."
Liara forces her eyes open despite the way the light stabs at them. Something thin and plastic pokes at her lips. A straw, she finally realizes, with the other end jammed into what looks like a huntress's ration tube except for the lack of the Asari Republic's sigil on the plastic. She takes it between her lips and lets her rescuer squeeze eezo-infused water into her aching mouth.
"Gotta go slow on the water, sorry. Don't want to shock your system."
Her focus ebbs and flows but when she can make herself see and think clearly, she finds herself staring into those dark green eyes and watching the damp curls of hair move along the sweat-slicked skin and wondering how long it would take to count every freckle and if freckles are permanent on humans, or if they can be sucked from the skin and Goddess, Liara, get a hold of yourself and wishing she could ignore how firm and steady the hand supporting her head is, like a pillar of stone even as it cradles her crests without a whisper of pressure on the inflamed tissue.

Liara opens her eyes to the inside of an auto-medical pod. The clamshell is half open and the lights are dimmed--truly a mercy--and her vitals are displayed on one of the interior screens. On a chair next to her is a human woman with silver hair, a few tiny wrinkles around each eye, and a kind smile. She rests her gloved hand over Liara's and squeezes gently.
"You're a doctor?"
"Dr. Karen Chakwas, chief medical officer of the SSV Normandy."
"Thank you," Liara croaks. She doesn't have to be a medical doctor to know that her blood levels of eezo, sodium, and tungsten are more suited to a mummified corpse than an asari maiden.
The doctor's omnitool pings.
"And that's the commander asking for an update on you. I think I'll lie, give you a couple hours more rest. How's that sound?"
Liara can't manage to thank her before she falls asleep.

The man reaches his hand out in a gesture Liara doesn't understand, shrugs, and pulls it back.
"Lieutenant Kaidan Alenko, by the way. I'm the MCO here. Sorry. Marine Command Officer. Means I'm in charge of keeping all these fine men and women in the metal suits ready to go."
Liara hazards a sip of the liquid. It's bitter and slightly spiced and she can taste eezo in it. She smacks her lips, trying to place the flavor.
"Closest I could get to kaffe. Columbian from the commander's stash, cinnamon and some granulated honey."
She sets the cup down hurriedly.
"I...I couldn't possibly."
Kaidan chuckles.
"I'm pretty sure Skipper would kick my ass if I hadn't offered you the good stuff. Please, enjoy. For my safety if nothing else."
Kick his ass? Is that an idiom?

An image flashes unwanted through Liara's brain. Sinew hard as silver-pink riverstone of the old quarries near Armali, carved into arms that lift her up with ease. Hips leaned forward, pinning her body against the cold steel of a bulkhead. Tongue dancing between the neck-folds, fingers pressing into the bundles behind the sil'atr and pinching at the tips, where the skin is firm and can take that abuse.
Making her body weep salt and eezo, running in rivers around her fingertips.
Would it be like an azure? Would Shepard want my fingers in it? My tongue? Goddess, would I even know how to pleasure her?
Heat crawls up her neck folds to her cheeks. She wishes the table wasn't so shiny because she can see her skin going violet with embarrassment.

Okay here’s the whole entire text of my original pokemon gen concept under a cut (sorry if that screws you up on mobile)

I’ve only ever sketched a tiny number of these (like my fly ideas here), but I can see most of them in my head pretty clearly and might sketch more of them by request someday. I originally set my fan-region in Florida, a place I hated living but still had a lot of interesting characteristics. This changed over once I moved to Oregon, and the thing about Oregon is that it has desert, forest, swamp, coastline and frozen mountaintops that are all pretty vast, ancient and in places relatively untouched compared to the rest of North America. This is not only a perfect setting for some really wild pokemon, but makes a believable choice because our Pacific Northwest is pretty popular in Japan.
The different biomes of this region have "deep" areas where the pokemon change. Some also have "polluted" areas. The region is environmentally themed and heavily deals with human interference on the natural world.
The villains are Team Bio, genetic engineerers lead by a mysterious old woman who narrowly survived the original Mewtwo experiment. Her underlings all use "mutant" pokemon, and she seeks to create a new species of hyper-intelligent, pure-hearted pokemon that will replace humans entirely. Along the way is a strange increase in reports of interstellar pokemon activity... I actually tried hard to minimize how many pokemon in this are just “my kind” of concept, but I think I failed pretty hard. It probably does feel like it leans a little more towards Mortasheen than something Pokemon would actually make, but for basically every pokemon that’s one of my “dream concepts” or “most wanted” I tried to come up with one that I thought would appeal more to somebody else’s taste than mine.
THE STARTERS
Grass Starter: a grass "lumberjack" pterosaur with an axe for a beak. Second stage has more saw-like beak, final stage is a grass/steel quetzalcoatlus (the pterosaur) with a beak and crest forming a chainsaw, no longer flies
Fire type calf whose black cow marks are actually soot. Evolves into cow with craggy black “helmet” and horns of charcoal. Final stage a charcoal-armored minotaur like fire/ground type.
Water Starter is a beady-eyed water shrew with big webbed flipper feet, known to steal shiny objects. Second stage more humanoid, said to dive for treasure. Final stage is water/dark lanky, stripey shrew with a black mask, said to rob boats like a “highwayman” of the river.
Meadows and forest:
Normal type mammal is a spherical porcupine, like a chestnut. Rubs its spines with noxious fruit juices, giving it a multicolored look. Evolved form is a colorful “punk” porcupine.
Early bug is a sticklike inchworm Evolves to cocoon resembling a wooden log on top. Final form is bipedal stick mimic grasshopper, evocative of a cute wooden puppet with a pointed nose.
Basic bird is a hummingbird Evolves to be four-winged and legless, never lands in its whole life. Final hummingbird is a fierce looking hunter that drains energy from grass types like a predator.
Grass type walking bud creature, looks nervous. Evolves to grass/flying orchid-like angelic flower. Alternate evolution is wilted, grey, grass/ghost goth orchid with tattered petals, cute but sad. (evolves this way if it levels up after a battle in which it sustained super-effective damage)
Ground type earthworm sticking out of dirt, cute flower-shaped head. Evolved worm looks like shark sticking out of the dirt, nose looks like its prevo
Electric/dark pikachu-like packrat holding a large coin. Electrically charges its treasure as a booby trap. Actually said to be employed as underlings by the water-type shrew starter.
MISCELLANY:
Bug/poison type grub with fangs. Only encountered in garbage cans. Evolves into a fly pupa Final stage is a gloomy looking, drooling anthropomorphic fly.
Single stage bug/fairy type: a beautiful Maleficent-looking parasitoid wasp. Evolves from any cocoon/pupa pokemon if they're holding a "suspicious egg" item.
Ocean
Water/grass nudibranch with flower on its back. Evolves to a glaucus, each "arm" a colorful flower that absorbs sunlight as it floats.
Water type fish that "sails" on the sea's surface with its fins. Sleepy looking stingray evolution. Final form is water/dragon deep sea fish, combines some traits of anglerfish and viperfish with eyes on stalks. Only evolves from stingray when you're in the sea trench.
Water/flying marlin with huge, dazzling butterfly like fins.
Water type baby dolphin, fuzzy like a seal pup, only evolves if it has fainted more times than the number of its current level. Evolved form is water/dark, shaggy-furred, fierce looking, battle scarred dolphin with legs instead of flippers, a throwback to the doglike ancestors of delphinidae.
Polluted inlet
Water/poison oil slick with two tentacles and beady white eyes, signature ability changes it to water/fire type if it uses a fire move. Evolved form is an oil slick rising into a cartoon octopus with x's for pupils.
Water/steel fish hook with tiny head and eyes, like a barbed metal worm. Water/steel fishing jig, googly eyes and everything.
Barren Island - just a very big rock in the middle of the inlet
Ghost/poison: a greenish "dodo bird" with a face like a biohazard mask, the ghost of a species that went exinct due to sickness.
Sea Trench
Water/fire bristleworm "snake" Water/fire tube worm "dragon"
Water/ghost wailord skeleton draped in pink fuzz and a garden of one-eyed bone worms.
Swamp
Electric/flying bird resembling a lightbulb kiwi. Evolved form resembling a neon light lawn flamingo.
Grass/fairy giant sloth with sleepy face, completely covered in shaggy moss with various flowers and mushrooms. Protector of the swamp, able to control plant life.
Grass/psychic sundew, just a pair of sundew leaves atop a sleepy looking oddish-esque bulb. Evolved sundew is mostly a big circular sundew rosette, but a humanoid flower rotates in the center like a music box to lure prey.
Water/fighting borzoi pup with long legs, acts like a water strider. Evolved form is an elongated, elegant borzoi "ballerina" that dances atop water
Water/ground red leech slightly evocative of a vacuum cleaner. A healer that sucks poison from the body instead of blood. May mysteriously appear in your team after walking through swamp water.
Deep Forest:
Grass/ground banana slug with colorful mold spots, learns spore. Evolves into mold splotched, brown banana peel creature, more like a big squid.
Grass/dark autumn leaf in the shape of a bat, has levitate. Evolved form redder, bigger "vampire cape" leaf-bat.
Psychic/ghost cheshire cat with Meowth-like proportions, bright crescent smile. Evolved form just huge smile and cat eyes hovering in the air, beastly cat body fading into view only for physical attacks or when struck.
Rock type humanoid made of transparent amber with a strange mayfly-like bug sleeping inside. Outer body can "break" at low HP and release faster, more offensive pure bug form.
Rock: incredibly huge, stony looking moose with long white fur draped over its eyes and back. Comes in size variations like Pumpkaboo line and said to never stop growing. A truly titanic one is used as transportation through the deep forest.
Snowy patches
Bug/ice velvet worm that spews a freezing liquid. Silly looking, almost like wiggler from mario.
Ice/flying fluffy white bird resembling a tiny Japanese style snowman. Evolves to resemble western style snowman with clawed bird feet, pointed beak nose. A flightless pure ice mountain dweller.
Electric/ice with levitate: a crystalline "UFO" sky-jellyfish with many colorful lights, core body looks like a cute pikmin-esque "alien" inside. Catch by fishing off of ledges into the sky. Mistaken by locals for alien activity.
Lava Tube Caves
Psychic type bipedal pink salamander with no eyes. Evolves into beautiful milotic-like psychic/dragon blind olm.
Rock/fighting spearhead with feet, eyes are just round holes through blade. Evolves to gain a stick-figure sort of body.
Abandoned town
Normal/bug filthy dog, a shaggy pile of fur with goofy eyes and pink tongue. Little black specks jump about it. Ability changes normal moves to bug moves. Evolved form more obviously a dog but still very shaggy, surrounded by constant cloud of black specks.
Grass/electric "christmas tree" made of holly and lights. Found in a burned down house, glowing eyes peer out from beneath it.
Ghost: has a colorful quilt for a body and a pincushion for a head. Found inside houses.
Garbage dump - accessible through abandoned town, possibly what drove people away (includes piles of toys you may investigate to encounter a banette, mimikyu or klefki)
Water/poison: cartoony fish with blank eyes and humanoid pair of legs. Fish for in toxic green garbage pools. Evolves into ground/poison skeleton fish with four limbs, walking like a lizard.
Steel/bug rusty orange silverfish. Eats junk metal. Evolved form so big it wears a rusty car for protection with just its legs and feelers sticking out.
MICROPOKEMON - enlarged artificially in a laboratory where you can also take your fossils.
Bug/fighting flea - spiny black flea with big jagged white teeth. Create from the "pest sample" an item carried randomly by the normal/bug dog.
Poison/fairy germ - fuzzy multicolored mold ball with eyes, stalked suckers. Retrieve "germ sample" from the dodo ghost.
Water/fairy tardigrade - transparent, cute bug stylized almost like a "gummy bear."  Retrieve "dew sample" from moss sloth.
Pseudolegendary:
Rock type baby gargoyle creature. Evolves to winged gargoyle with levitate and a few mossy patches. Final form is an elegant griffon-like rock/dragon with an elaborately carved surface
SPACE ARK DRAGON This location is itself a dragon/fairy legendary pokemon so massive you can enter its body. It exists to collect and preserve species from dying worlds. Most common wild pokemon inside is duosion and sometimes Reuniclus. You can also collect "gene samples" from crystalline pods to replicate the ultrabeasts in the same lab you enlarge the microbes and resurrect fossils.
Bug/dark parasitic alien, a little like weird yellow plant suckered to the ground, red flower-like head with an eye on each petal ala the yokai parasite, gyochu.
Bug/dark parasitic alien, a colorful worm with cute eyes and beautiful mothlike wings, a little like the yokai parasite koshi-no-mushi.
Bug/dark parasitic alien, a pale, red and white striped "lizard" with six spindly limbs and a tubular proboscis, inspired by the yokai parasite kagemushi.
Fairy type alien medic, looks like a cute flatwoods monster with heart motif and nurse coat. Flees from all battles unless you have defeated at least one of each of the parasites.
LEGENDARIES:
Dragon/electric: the ark dragon's smaller offspring, looks like an electronic space whale.
Dragon/steel, menacing, sleek black starship creature. Rival to the ark dragon, a "world reaper" that attempts to destroy planets that it thinks are already dying.
Psychic/fairy little white, fluffy mothman-like being, an observer that casts judgment on suffering worlds to call one of the dragons (version based)
Normal type legendary is the most human-like pokemon we've ever seen, a serene floating figure with long hair and black, almond-shaped eyes. A genetic experiment to supplant humans.
Electric/fighting: a hulking humanoid beast, almost frankensteinian with asymmetrical features, a failed early experiment.
A "glitched and scrambled" two dimensional pokemon. The result of the earliest known experiments in digital pokemon transfer. Actually literally typeless.
POISON FUSIONS created in the garbage dump:
Weezodor - poison/flying - Garbodor/weezing hybrid, like a jellyfish bag with smog tentacles.
Mukking - poison/water - Weezing/muk hybrid, like a koffing with slime appendages.
Garmuk - poison/ground - Muk/garbodor hybrid, like a giant slug made of trash.
MUTANT POKEMON: mutations of classic first-stage pokemon into creatures slightly tougher than even their original final stages.
Mutant Caterpie - bug/dragon - huge, dragonlike Caterpie with more menacing eyespots, clawed limbs.
Mutant Paras - pure grass - giant paras with far more mushrooms of different colors, body pure white with no mouth and white sphere eyes, actually made only of fungus.
Mutant Venonat - bug/dark - same old venonat with a big shaggy monster body
Mutant Zubat - Psychic - somewhat larger than crobat, has actual legs and a pair of clawed arms instead of wings. Much bigger ears.
Mutant Voltorb - electric/steel - a Voltorb even bigger than Electrode, otherwise looks normal besides angrier yellow eyes...until it splits open to reveal sharp teeth.
Mutant Tangela - grass/fairy - more like its scrapped Gen II evolution but perhaps a lot taller, with two very very long arms.
Mutant Geodude - rock/fighting - HUGE spiky arms and hands but head/body are the same as always.
Mutant Shellder - water/steel - it's the spiraly slowbro one!
Mutant Exeggcute - psychic/poison - bigger and more plentiful but "rotten" looking eggs with gloomier eyes and dark purple goo.
Mutant Eevee - normal - bigger than any of the eeveelutions, shaggy and beastly with the "camouflage" ability. Learns strong attacks of every eevee evolution type.
Mutant Doduo - fighting type with only one head
Mutant Luvdisc - the only one based on a non-evolving pokemon. Angry "broken heart" Luvdisc with record offensive stats for the series, but even worse defenses than regular luvdisc.
Mutant Trapinch - dragon/bug - giant turtle-like Trapinch, redder, spiny, second mouth inside jaws.
Mutant Dratini - dragon/fairy - huge long dratini with longer feathery wing ears, identical wings down body.
Mutant Larvitar - dragon/dark - big, armored green reptile, still has larvitar type head with craggier, meaner horn.
Mutant Bagon - dragon - huge, more t-rex proportioned bagon, spiked shell on head.
Mutant Deino - bigger and shaggier with a ring of five long-necked deino heads
Mutant Gible - dragon/fighting - only usually seen as a huge sharky fin sticking out of the ground. When it emerges, its body isn't much bigger than regular gible.
Mutant Goomy - psychic/dragon - giant goomy with gaping mouth, antennae are much longer, green and stripey.
Mutant Jangmo-o - dragon/steel - same old head but more ankylosaur-like big body, entirely a dark iron color with more pitted looking scales.
ENVIRONMENTAL VARIATIONS no mechanical or typing difference, but new color schemes and decorations on existing pokemon, totally an aesthetic change. Have their own shiny forms.
SEA TRENCH FORMS: Entirely pale pink golisopod line with closed eyes transparent red tentacool line with darker red nodules dark maroon inkay line with blue lights red and purple feebas line
CAVE FORMS: White, eyeless venipede line White, eyeless magikarp line
DEEP SWAMP FORMS: crocodile-green Sandile line with lily pad on head black shelled "freshwater" shellder line with green algae growths pure red and purple colored bellsprout line
DEEP FOREST FORMS: braviary with more hawklike colors foongus line with no pokeball pattern...the original foongus? wolf-spider colored joltik line
POLLUTED INLET FORMS: Dewpider line with all black body and limbs, yellow glowing eyes in dirty green water Grey wailmer line draped in red algae, clumps of barnacles (presumably degenerated binacle) Wingull line with grey and black oil-splotched feathers, tin can on head
GARBAGE DUMP FORMS: Bounsweet line with only grey, brown and black colors, dark spoiled looking splotches Black bag trubbish line with green trash, copper colored pipes Rusted looking klink line, rotates only once every few seconds.
----------GYM LEADERS -------------- In this region the gyms are dual type, and bring back past mechanics and gimmicks as their focus.
flying/normal: a blind, wheelchair-bound old man who specializes in dog and bird pokemon. Uses a baton pass team.
Steel/electric: an astronaut commanding his gym by remote feed from the station. Uses Magnezone, Rotom forms and, surprisingly, a random steel or electric ultrabeast.
Poison/bug: a germophobic lady scientist ironically obsessed with pollution pokemon, always wearing a biohazard suit. Has weezing, garbodor, the fly pokemon and Yanmega. Uses Z-moves, but it's random whether she uses a bug or poison one and on which pokemon.
Dark/fire: an elderly biker lady. Has no gym and in fact roams around the region. Surprisingly challenges you to a third-gen style beauty contest with her frightening selection of pokemon.
Grass/fairy: witchy pharmacist and botanist who lives out in the woods, all of her grass types are mushroom based. Unusually has you team up with her in a double battle against a random pokemon of unusual size and strength, like Alola's totem pokemon.
Ground/fighting: an extremely frail little nerdy guy who likes amazingly fearsome pokemon, hates bullies but kind of is one. Makes you face a horde battle with all of his pokemon vs. only one of yours at a time.
Dragon/rock: a boisterous monster movie director who dresses his pokemon in costumes, gym is a cardboard city. Uses a dynamaxed pokemon.
Ghost/psychic: a horror author, Vincent Price like, lives in a mansion and makes visitors face scenes from his books. Instead of a single battle, he has you face a series of singular mega pokemon behind each "scene." THE LABORATORY This location is of course secretly associated with the villain team, but you can free it up from them in the endgame. Here you can make fossil pokemon, micropokemon, regional forms from past generations, ultrabeasts and even mega stones, but all require you to spend one or more “gene crystals.” You’re handed a number of these through the storyline but it would be very challenging to farm more than that  (think Gen 7 bottlecaps). Spending more crystals at the lab would allow you to finally alter abilities, natures and IV’s at a whim, and for an exceptional cost you could upgrade the BASE stats of any L100 pokemon permanently. This is a percentage increase applied across the board to all of its stats at once, and stops at either 100 total points beyond their normal limits, or a final base stat total of 530 (equivalent to a fully evolved starter) MISC STUFF:
Your mom this gen asks you if you hope to have an easy, challenging, or very challenging adventure. You can return to her at any time to adjust the difficulty again.
When you beat the game, you can make a custom trainer for online battles using the models of other NPC trainer types, i.e. you can finally be a swimmer/scientist/grunt/etc. You can unlock some popular ones from past generations.
You can select one pokemon as your main partner, which not only has it following you, but involves it a little more in the storyline (special events based on its first typing) and gives it some in-game perks.
A special item attached to any one of your pokemon allows your whole team to “share strength,” meaning that their weaknesses are mitigated for each teammate they share a type with. This allows for type-themed teams to be more viable but wouldn’t completely eliminate their weaknesses, and the effect diminishes proportionately for every pokemon that faints.
You can designate a seventh pokemon to be your “team mascot,” a non-combat role with different effects depending on species/type.
A single team can have either the mascot, a z-move, a dynamax/gigantamax form or a mega, cannot mix these.
Legendary pokemon now suffer a stat nerf for every other legendary pokemon on the same team. A team of six legendaries would actually be somewhat below-average in stats.

Once.
Giggles and screams are everywhere and the vivid sound of the little pups are testing his limits.
Thud.
Twice.
Jaebeom turns around, irritated that his head was hit by something he can't define. Just as he turns, white covers his vision, then black, Jackson's giggles echoes in his ears.
How dare him-
"Mom!" He yells, irritated by the younger brother. It's another day of when snow decides to rain heavily and Mom gives them permission to play around with snow. All seven pups are out, playing with the snow as they can't do this frequent. Usually mom will gather them inside with hot chocolate and gingerbread cookies and read them wolf stories.
So today when they can play and run all over the place, Jaebeom decides that he can use this time to sit under his favourite tree and read his favourite nursery book. However Jackson has been hitting his back a few times now and he is really irritated. Jackson has no boundaries sometimes and thinks its funny to do that.
He turns to see Mark sitting on bench, ignoring Jackson's playful gestures which is now attacking Yugyeom and Bambam with snow balls. The little pups, though being smacked on the face a few times, still stand and laugh after countless trials of avoiding Jackson's hit.
"What's wrong Jaebeommie?" Their mom coos as the said boy comes closer, halting her motion to feed Youngjae some hot soup. "Why don't you play with Seunnie?"
Loud, irritated sigh escapes Jaebeom's lip, pouting as he takes a sit next to the smaller brother. "Seunnie is irritating. He keeps throwing the snow balls to my head!"
Youngjae, turning to him at the word ball, eyes lighting in awe. "Snow ball? Where is the ball!?" Youngjae likes balls. He likes something sphere in general, including the knitting threads and Jinyoung's cheeks. Which is why Jinyoung doesn't like being close to Youngjae, the pup will raise his chubby hands to pinch Jinyoung's cheeks. His tiny paws love patting spherical things hence imagine how irritated Jinyoung is.
"Jackson is playing with them." He saves the harsh tone under his breath, instead placing them with a sweet voice which he will only use with Youngjae. And Jinyoung.
Only two of them.
"Jackson hyung?" He lights up, quickly standing and look at their mom in hope. Mom laughs, nodding her head. "Thank you mommie!"
Youngjae runs or toddles with his tail wagging behind him towards Jackson, screaming all the way and fall flat on the snowy ground. Jaebeom's heart stops, watching his little brother struggling to stand up, short legs pushing the thick snow so he stand properly. Luckily Jackson is there to help, making Youngjae stand and wipes off the snow on his legs.
Relieved, he turns to his Mom, questioning. "Where's Jinyoungie?"
As if his Mom just remembers something, she snaps her fingers, asking Jaebeom to come closer. Curious, he keeps an wary eye on mom, terrified if Jinyoungie suddenly appears behind her.
"Jinyoungie told me to ask you to find him. He said he will be at the place where you likes the most."
Jaebeom staggers backward, too excited at Mom's little whisper. "Really!? Jinyoungie is at the cottage?"
Their mom nods, smiling even when her six years old pup grins, cresent forming from his eyes.
"Can i go to the cottage mom?" Hopeful, Jaebeom asks for permission first though he knows Jinyoung is already there.
"Go on. But bring Jinyoungie back with you too okay?"
Smiling in triumph, Jaebeom walks away, hurrying his little steps towards the cottage. His ears on top of his head is covered with some snow however he doesn't mind that, only excited with the thought of him going to the cottage.
The cottage is where their father will only bring Jaebeom and Jinyoung inside, because their father said both of them enjoys reading the most. So the cottage was built for books keeping hence they love visiting the cottage. Usually mom won't let them go without supervision but this has been the second time they are let in without their parents.
He reaches the cottage, knocking thrice before calling out the younger's name.
"Jinyoungie?" His ears perks at any distinct sound, trying to listen to any breathing from inside. Sometimes Jinyoung can be so focused, his wolf hearing will not even useful.
"Come in hyung!" His tail wags at the reply, excitedness envelop his whole tiny body.
Jaebeom wishes that it is snowy everyday. That day he can spent his time in the cottage where he can read all of the books with Jinyoungie. He feels contented and happy, that by the time he opens his third nursery book, he finds Jinyoung sliding down the floor, snuggling against Jaebeom's lap for comfort.
"Jinyoungie?"

It was unusual for Shiro to come home from work and not find Lance starfished out on the most comfortable available surface, but not so strange that it threw up any alarms. He pulled his shirt off and tossed it in the laundry pile by the bed, and opened the door to the bathroom, where he froze in place. There was a fat baby seal laying in the bathtub. The seal looked up at Shiro and barked, slapping its tail against the water remaining in the tub, and Shiro slowly closed the door. He knew the size of seals very well now, and that definitely wasn't Lance, familiar patterning on his coat notwithstanding. After a moment, Shiro cracked the door open again, and the baby seal eyed him suspiciously. Once again, Shiro closed the door. "Lance!" he yelled, although the cabin was small enough that his husband couldn't hide easily. He stood on the porch with his hands on hips and glared at James's truck as it rumbled up the overgrown gravel drive. "I've been trying to call you," he said, as James threw the truck into park. "Sorry," James said. "My cell phone got, uh." He glanced over his shoulder, and sighed. "Eaten." "Where's Keith? Have you seen Lance? Do you have any idea," Shiro gestured at the cabin behind him, "why there's a baby seal in my bathtub?" "Yeah," James said. "Hang on." He dropped the hatch on the pickup and a small black ball of fur unfolded, ears alert and tongue hanging out the side of his mouth. "You have got to be kidding me," Shiro said, as James picked up the wolf pup. He looked back at the cabin. "So that's actually..." he pushed his prosthetic hand back through his short hair and exhaled. "Well, fuck."

William Gilbert William Gilbert, also known as ‘Gilberd’, was a famous researcher in magnetism. He was famous during the time of Queen Elizabeth I and is best known for his publication, ‘De Magnete’. Credited as one of the originators of the term of electricity, William Gilbert is also known as the father of electricity, magnetism and electrical engineering. He travelled extensively and wrote many publications such as ‘Magnetisque Corporibus’ and ‘ET de Magno Magnete Tellure’ during his lifetime. Apart from being a scientist, Gilbert led a parallel career as an astronomer. He studied the moon’s surface without a telescope and concluded that the craters were in fact land, and the white patches on the moon’s surface were water bodies. One of his other significant contributions was when he pointed out that the motion of the skies occurred due to the rotation of the earth. One of the first people to try to map the markings of the moon’s surface, Gilbert was a celebrated astronomer and scientist. His theories on magnetism and electricity had also been the subject of controversy for many of his successors.

electroscope An electroscope is an early scientific instrument that is used to detect the presence and magnitude of electric charge on a body. It was the first electrical measuring instrument. The first electroscope, a pivoted needle called the versorium, was invented by British physician William Gilbert around 1600. The pith-ball electroscope and the gold-leaf electroscope are two classical types of electroscope that are still used in physics education to demonstrate the principles of electrostatics. A type of electroscope is also used in the quartz fiber radiation dosimeter. Electroscopes were used by the Austrian scientist Victor Hess in the discovery of cosmic rays. Electroscopes detect electric charge by the motion of a test object due to the Coulomb electrostatic force. Since the electric potential or voltage of an object with respect to ground equals its charge divided by its capacitance to ground, an electroscope can be regarded as a crude voltmeter. However, the accumulation of enough charge to detect with an electroscope requires hundreds or thousands of volts, so electroscopes are only used with high-voltage sources such as static electricity and electrostatic machines. Electroscopes generally give only a rough, qualitative indication of the magnitude of the charge. Otto Von Guerickes Sulphur Ball Otto von Guericke's electrostatic machine evolved into increasingly improved instruments in the hands of later scientists. Otto von Querricke (1602-1686), the Burgomeister of Magdeburg best known for his demonstration of the effect of atmospheric pressure on evacuated bodies (the Magdeburg Hemispheres), also showed the electrical effects were obtained by rubbing glass. Originally, he used a globe of sulphur mounted on a shaft, with the hand rubbing the rotating sphere. The sulphur was cast in a spherical shell of glass that was subsequently broken away; soon it was discovered that glass, and not sulphur, was the key ingredient of the demonstration. About 1700 Francis Hauksbee the Elder suggested that a glass cylinder be used in place of the sphere. GEORGE CRHISTOPHER LICHTEMBERG Georg Christoph Lichtenberg was a German physicist, satirist, and Anglophile. As a scientist, he was the first to hold a professorship explicitly dedicated to experimental physics in Germany. He obtained, with dust particles, under Statics Electricity, anything that we can consider as being primitive “Bioelectrographic Images” and those primitive images, in electrified dust were named, by him, as Electro-graphics”. In 1777 a German physicist George Lichtenberg touched a metal electrode covered with glass and connected to voltage with his finger while experimenting with the electrical machine. And suddenly a burst of sparkles flew all around. This was magically beautiful, although a little bit frightening. Lichtenberg jerked back the finger and then repeated the experiment. The finger placed on the electrode was shining with bright blue light and treelike sparkles dispersed from it.  Lichtenberg, being a real academic scientist, investigated the behavior of this fluorescence in detail, although he substituted a grounded wire for a finger. The effect was the same, which later suggested an idea that some special energy exists in the body, and first electrical then tor­sion properties were attributed to it. Articles by Lichtenberg, masterfully done in German, are still cited in books on gas discharge. Further research demonstrated that electrical fluorescence was not so rarely met in nature.

Coil Ruhmkorff - The History of Bioelectrography The device Ruhmkorff coil. The primary winding of the coil, consists of several tens of turns of thick wire wound around the core, and is energized through the electrochemical cell (chemical current source). An important element of the chopper coil is in the form of a hammer, which is attracted by the core to create the primary winding of the magnetic field due to flow through it from the DC power source. Thus, the hammer breaks the circuit and the magnetic field disappears, the hammer returns to its original state, closing the circuit again. The change in the magnetic field reacts secondary winding consisting of thousands of turns of a thin wire, is wound over the primary winding. This leads to a second winding of high instantaneous currents of different directions (closing / opening). Due to a member of the condenser coil, the coil stores energy in a magnetic field, which further increases the currents in both windings, and allows the air gap between the punch pin of the secondary winding. 1876 - I. Goldstein Gittorfor (1850-1931), German physicist, received a specially designed discharge tube coin image using it as a cathode. These experiments were carried out under reduced pressure of the gaseous medium. In the summer and autumn of 1887 in the physics laboratory of the Forest Institute Lachinov simulated form of atmospheric electricity, differentiation electrodischarges in a gaseous environment. Nikola Tesla He showed, in a public presentation, a luminous halo around human body and another objects while exposed to a strong electromagnetic field with high A.C. voltage and high frequency. But he considered this subject only as a scientific curiosity that received the general name of “Corona Effect”. In the Nineteenth century enigmas of electricity were opening to people. One of the great inventors was Nicola Tesla, from whom we now have lamps and television sets. He invented the generator of alternating current. However, if it had not been him, somebody else would have done it. In­ventions come to life when a social need for them appears. Then different people simultaneously and independently start arriving at the same ideas. This is connected with the fact that the ideas have their logic of development, and the developers shall only intuitively feel this logic. After raising good money with his patents, Nikola Tesla began the mysterious experi­ments on energy transfer without wires. He did not finish his developments and died in destitu­tion, but up to now enthusiasts have been trying to investigate his ideas. We get used to our tech­nical progress and reap its fruits with pleasure, but is it the only possible way of development? At the peak of his career Tesla liked to give public lectures and impress the audience with the following experience. The light was turned off in the room, Tesla turned on the generator of his own design, stood on the platform-electrode, and his body got wrapped in the glow. The hair stood on end, glowing rays of light radiated in the space. The experiment was very ef­fective, though not all those who wished managed to repeat it: as a matter of fact, their glow was much less and for some people even missing. Not in vain was it said that Nikola Tesla had spe­cial energy state. Further research did not go much beyond investigations of the glow of fingers, sometimes ears, nose and other prominent parts of the body. Is it possible to reproduce Tesla’s experiments and make all the body glow? Yes, it is. But is it necessary? Powerful equipment, which is not safe if not handled properly, is required for such an experiment. Moreover, the stronger electrical glow, the more ozone is generated in the air. J. J. NARKIEVITCH-JODKO On an electricized plate, he obtained a type of photo that he simply named Electric Photography, in black and white colors, and started to investigate, through this technique, the human potencialities, but he did not continue his work. Later on, already during the middle of XXth Century, his work was taken back by M. Pogorelski, in Russia, and by B. J. Navratil, in Czechoslovakia, but with no other significative consequence. A significant contribution to the study of these photographs was made by a talented Byelorussian scientist Jacob Narkevich-Yodko in the end of the Nineteenth century. He was an independent landowner and spent most of his time on his estate above the river Neman. There he ac­tively experimented with electricity, applying it in agriculture and medicine. A straight parallel with modern medicine can be drawn from the description of experiments on the stimulation of plants with electrical current, on electrotherapy, and magnetism by J. Narkevich-Yodko. But the scientific achievements of our time are not just “the new as a well-lost old”. This is a new convolution of perception. 1893 - Russia “Electrophotosphenes and energography as a proof of existence of the physiological polar energy”. This was the name of a small book by a doctor from St. Petersburg, Messira Pogorelsky, where he described his experiments in bioelectrography. Book, published in 1893. Many photographs of the glow of fingers and toes, ears and nose show how the pattern of fluorescence varies when the psychic state of a person changes. However, this work was far from being the first one. 1865 - Narkevitch-Yodko finished Minsk provincial classical gymnasium and went abroad. 1869 - entered the medical faculty of the University of Paris. Father Roberto Landell de Morua Besides to be a priest, he was a Physicist too and, in Porto Alegre (RS), he invented an engine that he named “Bioelectrographic Machine”. He did take some hundreds of photos and named the halo around the human body as “Perianto”. He researched on this subject during 8 (eight) years, until 1912, when he was obliged by Catholic Church to stop those researches. In Brazil, very similar experi­ments were performed by a Catholic monk, padre Landell de Morua. A monk’s life left a lot of free time, after reading prayers and performing rituals. Padre de Morua invented the technique of photoregistration of electrical glow and started giving lectures and writing to social leaders in order to attract at­tention to his offspring. Invention of padre de Morua produced much rapt attention, congratulations, banquets, but was not widespread. Then the little priest invented the radio (practically simultaneously with Popov and Markoni), but again he was unable to draw in large crowds. Even the military. FIRST SCIENTIFIC RESEARCHES AT INTERNATIONAL LEVEL In the beginning of the Twentieth century nobody even recalled the mysterious glow. There were many other problems: wars, revolutions, breakthroughs in physics, discovery of antibiot­ics and roentgen rays – everybody was sure that it was very close to the outright victory. Only by 1930’s the life more or less came right. And here appeared the mysterious glow again. And, as if by chance, it was discovered anew, but there is a rule behind every chance. 1904/12 – BRAZIL We can consider that Fr. Landell was the pioneer of the first scientific and systematic researches on the Bioelectrography field, during 8 years, at worldwide level. However, Catholic Church, in that period, did not allow he continued his researches because of purely doctrinary reasons and confiscated almost all of his notes, but many of those reports escaped and are in a safe place, the current Fr. Roberto Landell de Moura Museum, in Porto Alegre (RS) – Brazil. 1939 - Around the World In 1939, two Czechs S. Pratt and J. Schlemmer. published photographs showing a curious glow or aura around leaves. The same year, the Russian electrical engineer Semyon Kirlian and his wife Valentina developed their own technique after observing a patient who was receiving medical treatment from a high-frequency electrical generator. Electrotherapy was popular at the time and they had noticed that when the electrodes were brought near the patient’s skin, there was a glow similar to that seen in an electrified tube filled with neon. Kirlian photography consisted of placing photographic film on top of a conducting plate, and attaching another conductor to a hand, leaf, or other part of a plant. Semyon & Valentina Kirlian Semyon & Valentina Kirlian 1939 – RUSSIA  Semyon and Valentina Kirlian In Krasnodar, former URSS, he re-invented the Bioelectrographic Camera, now renamed as Kirlian Camera, and started systematic and scientific researches, helped by several Soviet Scientists. Those researches were revealed to the rest of the world only in 1960, during a Congress on Parapsychology. Semyon Kirlian spent most part of his life with his wife Valentina in a poor two-room apartment at the corner of Gorky and Kirov streets in Krasnodar. The wooden two-story house where they had started their family life was swept away by progress – a building program turned the small provincial town on the banks of the Kuban river into an industrial center. Kirlians were deeply carried away with the experiments with auras of live subjects, and since 1939 they had worked hard. The only rest they could afford was walking hand in hand under the trees and along blossoming fields so typical of the South Russian cities. The Kirlians published the results of their experiments for the first time in 1958, and in 1961 reported that the characteristics of fingertip auras not only varied in different people, but was also affected by their emotional status. If someone felt very anxious or was in an opposite state of deep relaxation during meditation, there was a corresponding change in the size and intensity of the glow. Their work was virtually unknown in the West until 1970, when two Americans, Lynn Schroeder and Sheila Ostrander published their book, “Psychic Discoveries Behind the Iron Curtain”. He published several books, in Portuguese, all about his researches in this field and, till today, he is living in S?o Jos? do Rio Preto (SP), where he is the owner of a Pharmaceutic Industry that produces Homeopathic remedies. 1972 – BRAZIL Dr. Hernani G. Andrade He always was considered the greatest divulger of Spiritism in Brazil. He built his Kirlian Camera, in San Paulo (SP), and took many hundreds of Kirlian Photos of plants and human beings intending to prove the existence of Spirit with them, not only in human beings, but even in bacteria too. He only divulged his researches in Spiritist Magazines and Congresses mainly at the State of S?o Paulo (SP) where is considered the greatest one. 1974 - IKRA IKRA – The International Kirlian Research Association 1974 scientists from different countries came together in an international association for the study of Kirlian effect (The International Kirlian Research Association, IKRA) (Drexel University). The organization was formed in December 1974 at a seminar in the Community Hospital in Brooklyn, NY for the purpose of standardization and assistance at all stages of research into the Kirlian phenomenon. They discovered a sign that they named “fracture”, which is the sign able to diagnose cancer in human beings. 1987 – ARGENTINA Prof. Newton Milhomens was invited to dictate some lectures at Buenos Aires to hundreds of persons. By this way, Kirliangraphy with a scientific approach was introduced in that South American country. AROUND THE WORLD – YEARS 1987/95 During this period of 8 years, hundreds of articles, theses of post-graduation, and several books using Kirlian Photos, were published at several countries on world, including Brazil. Some of those books were written in an amateuristic manner but other ones, however, were written seriously with many scientific and systematic foundation and accurate statistic treatment. Thus, the scientific phase of Kirliangraphy was starting. 1989 – PORTUGAL Prof. Newton Milhomens was invited to dictate a lecture on Kirliangraphy at Lisbon, Portugal, during a Congress on Parapsychology, sponsored by Escola Superior de Biologia e Sa? de (Superior School of Biology and Health) and so, he introduced Kirliangraphy with a scientific approach in Portugal. During this period, he taught Kirliangraphy as an official matter subject of the course of Naturopatic Medicine in that Portuguese University. 1990 – PORTUGAL Prof. Newton Milhomens returned to Portugal to teach Kirliangraphy in Superior School of Biology and Health, at Lisbon, Portugal. Dr. Konstantin Korotkov and GDVCAMERA 1995 – RUSSIA After many years of researches, he was succeeded to build a new Kirlian Camera which declines the photographic film and puts the GDV image directly at a computer’s screen. It was a new milestone in the History of Bioelectrography. First GDVCAMERA by Dr. Konstantin Korotkov on Saint-Petersburg, Russia created. More details on Bio-Well History. The GDV camera is based on the stimulation of photon and electron emissions from an object when it is placed in an electromagnetic field and subjected to brief electrical pulses. This process is called ‘photo-electron emission’ and has been thoroughly studied with cutting edge electronic techniques. The emitted particles accelerate in the electromagnetic field, generating electronic avalanches on the surface of the dielectric (glass) plate in a process called ‘sliding gas discharge. GDV basic Korotkov image is a complex 2-D figure with each pixel characterized by its brightness coded by integer in the range of 0 (“black”) to 255 (“white”). Geometrical parameters of GDV-images (e.g., the area defined as a sum of pixels exceeding the specified brightness threshold; fractality coefficient defined as relation of the length of the image perimeter to its average radius multiplied by 2Pi, the breadth of streamers) contain the information about the object’s characteristics. For example, with an increase of ion concentration in liquid the glow increases while the streamer breadth decreases. In all those cases the gas discharge appears near the earth rod. High field intensity is formed near its sharp end when placed into an electrical field. Electrons, which always exist in the air or are emitted by the bodies, start speeding up in this field and, having picked up neces­sary speed, ionize air molecules. Those, in their turn, emit photons, mostly in the blue and ultra­violet spectral regions. Here the glow appears. What is more, from the viewpoint of physics both a nail, a tree, a human finger, and a person can be the rod. Everything depends on the scale. Generators used in Bioelectrography have very small power. It means that they can not give high current, even if you lick the electrode with your tongue. In addition, these generators make use of high-frequency voltages and short impulses, and by the laws of physiology such current can not penetrate into the organism, as it slides on the skin surface. In XX'th century many researchers was attracted by Kirlian photography, hundreds books and papers were published, but scientific acceptance of Kirlian photography was rather limited because the quality of equipment used by early investigators varied considerably and results were inconsistent since there was no standardization. Things improved when a multidisciplinary group headed by William Eidson, professor of physics at Drexel University in Philadelphia, showed it was possible to image electrical parameters of a specimen in real time, thus making it possible to map human energy fields and any rapid changes.
