hi please I need this in my life rev robins tim adopting Jason is amazing I need whatever deets you got skskskisk
Here have some more bullet points! ✨
Instead of tires Jason happens upon a fancy drone Tim had stashed somewhere. He takes advantage of the situation (this kind of fancy tech sells for a thousand bucks at LEAST!), hot wires the thing, and takes off with it. Sadly, Jason misses the tracker so Tim sniffs him out within the hour, thinking Batman’s onto him (who else could have the knowledge to wire HIS advanced tech but Bruce?)
Tim kind of blue screens when he sneaks into Jay’s hideout and finds a malnourished kid nibbling on a piece of stale bread and the drone clutched in one hand
Jason thinks he’s done for when the new crime lord shows up. Like- that guy cut the heads off several people only a few days ago and- oh, oh god, he just stole from a crime lord. Oh no, oh shit-
Tim is still blue screening and thus totally misses that the kid went into fight or flight mode until the drone comes sailing at him and hits him clean in the face.
Jason, in his panic, jumps right out the window (death via fall is better than having his head cut off, or whatever else perverted thing the new crime lord is into)
Tim barely manages to react in time to keep Jason from plummeting several stories, having even more trouble dragging the kid back onto solid ground because the little shit actually tries biting him! (Tim is lowkey impressed)
Jason never stops fighting, managing some solid kicks and punches that Tim’s gonna feel for several days, and keeps spitting at Tim even after he’s finally got him pinned
Tim, after inspecting Jason’s handiwork on the drone and considering the kid’s fighting spirit (not to mention the ill seated realization that Jason might not make it much longer on the streets with how thin he is), knows that the kid is either gonna die or be picked up by Batman (or god forbid, Damian) if he finds out about the kid’s skills. So really, it’s a no brainer what Tim has to do now
Bruce and Damian think they’ll have to do another tally mark in the list of crimes Hood committed, now thinking not even street kids are safe from him
Jason’s not sure he likes this weird arrangement, but Hood turns out to be surprisingly young and doesn’t want him to do any weird crime stuff and actually teaches him things about tech, so… he thinks he’ll stay. For now.
(Tim spends exactly one week around the spitfire that is Jason and decides that, yes, he would kill everyone in Gotham and then himself if anything happened to him. Not that he’s gonna let anybody know that.)

off the top of your head what's ur favorite karamatsu fit, not from an au but from like a collab or merch or something (holding microphone up to you)
oh, hell. that's actually kinda hard because i actually love a lot of kara's outfits. idgaf what the other characters say, his outfits can go so freaking hard sometimes.
i think it's kinda obvious that i really love his main casual outfit since it's what i draw him in the most, it does a good job of showing his general vibes as a character despite how simple it really is. as for his other main designs, his jumpsuit and varsity jacket ( ignoring his fucked hairline in s3 ) are probably my big faves. also, shout out to his hipopo outfit. i haven't watched that movie yet and i heard it kinda sucks, but his outfit is really good in it. oh, and his mt. takao fit. ya'll know how much i love his mt. takao fit.
but if we wanna stick to collab / merch outfits, that's a lot easier for me to pick. it's definitely his outfit from the shine in the distance merch. i think about that outfit on the daily, it's so freaking good. the jacket is so cool and i love it whenever they slap some animal print onto him, i wish they'd do it more. i probably like it so much because it feels like a more refined version of his main casual outfit. other big faves are probably the ones from the odekake style merch and 2nd anime paradise cafe collab.
also this might count as an au, but i go insane every single time i remember the jam session sets from hesokuri wars and how kara looks in them. i blame it on them letting him play sax with an open collared shirt.

you have a sandstorm au?
I have a wholeass playlist for it, too 💪😌
I've summarized it before but it's been a while and some things have been updated so here's another quick summary, under the cut because of allusions to suicide:
Cole kills himself prior to canon by way of train, and ends up in the Cursed Realm. He meets Morro, and initially the two of them don't interact all that much until Morro figures out Cole's supposed to be the master of earth. Morro teaches Cole how to fight, Cole teaches Morro ballet because he doesn't want to owe anything to Morro, and they bond and it's nice and sweet and the Preeminent is looming over everything!
When the Cursed Realm is opened up and Morro and Cole slip out, Morro possesses Lloyd as per usual. Where things change is that Cole comes in separately and pretends to be enemies with Morro, allowing him to get in good graces with the ninja. He sticks around, helping them in their attempts to get the Realm Crystal before Morro can, and finds that it's actually... not that bad, hanging out with these guys.
But Cole knows where his loyalties lie. When the ninja get their hands on the Realm Crystal, Cole steals it to bring to Morro, who uses it to free the Preeminent as they planned. But Cole's time with the ninja had an effect on him, and he really cares a lot about Morro. Like, a lot. And while before that saw him being willing to follow Morro wherever, now (with some nudging from Wu) it's got him moving to work with the ninja to stop the Preeminent. There's a brief fight between him and Morro that doesn't do anything but affirm that they both really care about each other.
When the Preeminent's defeated and the ninja are victorious, where does that leave Cole and Morro? Wu offers to house the two, but Morro needs time and space after everything, so he and Cole set off to parts unknown. They don't return until Day of the Departed, and even once they have bodies again they're still not certain about their future. But they're here, and they're together, and there's a whole wide world and a whole wide life for them to live. So why not try?
