(Stacked Rewatch/Timestamp Roulette Art Challenge)

The other Christmas episode! I could've worked on this a bit more, but it's getting late and I'm happy enough with it as it is. Oil pastels on grey-blue paper, a little over 2 hours. (Fraser progress pics under the cut.)

Left: Lol I have zero idea where this is going and it feels like ages since I touched my oil pastels and I've probably forgotten how to mix skin colors - oh dear, this can't end well.

Right: I have zero idea how I got here, but it was fun! (<- the best feeling)

(Fraser's eyes are rather big because I was struggling to get the details in with unsharpened pastel sticks - his head is about 10 cm/4 inches high, so it was a complete hit and miss!)

Creator POV: I'm nervous with Kaley too, since she had a bad reaction toward Shawn mum in recent meet. But hey.. I was wrong. They had a good time together. Feel a bit relieve. Their relationship turn out good.

to me the obvious post-movie plot is that Art retires, Tashi starts training Patrick, and the three of them hang out all the time. Tashi and Patrick go touring as necessary but Art gets a house or something where he really settles down. (Tashi's family lives in the area of course.)

For significant chunks of the year it's Tashi and Patrick on the road, maybe Lily + Art and the grandparents come along and do tourist things. But there's also a good amount of time where it's just Art living his best mundane-ass life at the house with the Duncan grandparents across the street.

the Ideal tho is when it's Tashi, Art, and their daughter at the house with Patrick and the grandparents maintaining orbit around them. And by that I mean Patrick is more often than not present for breakfast, lunch, & dinner, if not overnight. And the grandparents are like "it's so nice to be able to. actually retire for real. Thank God."
