'You don't have to be shy'

"Okay you are dismissed! Also do not forget about the theater production tomo-"

Before the teacher could finish, you were out the door. High school was hard and you were just trying to get through these last few years. As you passed through the hallway, all of the beautiful girls who had boyfriends and huge groups of friends made your heart ache. You had to admit that you were jelous of them. You didn't have very many friends- or any at all. Being shy and soft spoken made it hard to talk to people- or just talking in general was difficult.

You had a free period after your last class. Your favorite spot was outside the theater. You loved hearing the faint noises of the kids inside talking, laughing, or singing. You admired their talent and their confidence. One performer in particular- Adam - was the star in every show. His black hair and brown eyes had every girl staring at him, practically on their knees. It surprised you how he didnt have a girlfriend or atleast not that you knew of. The sudden singing caught you off guard from inside the theater. Was it Adam? The first production of the year was tonight so they had been practicing a LOT. The posters promoting the production were everywhere- literally everywhere. It was all people were talking about. So, you got tickets to opening night.

Taking your seat that night, all you could do was try to relax and not crush the stems of the flower bouquet that you were holding- that was for Adam. The girl next to you turned to face you “Are those flowers for one of the girls in the show?” You couldn't reply with ‘no it's for Adam!’ so lying was the best choice. “Yes.” The other girl laughed. Cuffing her hand around her mouth, she leaned to your ear; “I got mine for Adam- i'm his secret admirer” You immediately regret your decision of getting flowers for Adam. He would have hundreds by the end of the week and not have a care in the world for who got what. Her bouquet was so extravagant and colorful compared to yours. Your seat was close to the front and when the stage lights were on, the actors on the stage would be able to see your face.The show had started- Adam, the main character was on stage most of the time and when he would have monologes, he would look into the crowd. Specifically, looking at you. Was it on purpose? Surely not.

After the actors took their bows and the show came to an end, the audience exited the theater and congregated outside waiting for the cast to greet them. The crowd had grouped around the side stage door-where the cast and crew would come out from. You had been pushed to the back so you couldn't see what was going on but when you heard loud shouts and screeches, you knew Adam and come out. Faint "you did so good! from the girls and "thank yous" from adam could be heard. You hoped to gift Adam his flowers but there was so many girls, and oh so many flowers, there was no use. As you started to walk towards the door you heard someone call your name.

"Leaving without saying hello? Didn't your parents teach you manners?" Turning around, you saw Adam walking towards you. "Oh im sorry- I thought you were busy and I-" you looked down at your flowers, then at the large handful adam had already collected. "Nevermind, um well-good job i'll see you tomorrow." Adam couldn't get a response out in time because you had already left the building. God you were so embarrassing. You hated high school and wanted to be in college so bad. Having no romantic experience made it even worse. A shy, timid, unromantic, girl...could it get worse?

You had one singular class with Adam the next day. He sat behind you but never realized how weird this would be until the day after you and him had the encounter after the show. After taking your seat- not even a minute later- you felt a tap on your shoulder, turning around you were greeted by Adams glowing brown eyes looking at you. "What are you doing after school tonday? Do you want to go grab some food? I have time before I have to be back for the show." His elbows where on the table and he placed his chin in the palm of his hands, smiling at you. Blushing- you had no choice but to say yes."Perfect, meet at my car and we'll go from there! Oh also here's my number." He slid you a piece of paper with his number on it. You put it in your bag to save for later. You couldn't focus for the rest of the day and the only think(or person) in your mind was Adam.

Finally, the day had come to and end. Once the bell rang you leaped up from your chair and headed towards the parking lot. Adam was leaning up against his black Hyundai Tucson. He was facing away from you and it wasn't until you cleared your throat that he turned around. His black locks wirled as the wind blew. His face immediately lit up as he saw you. "Hey." He shifted against his car so he was still leaning but he was fully facing you. "hi" This was your first date and you weren't really sure how this works. "Hear, let me get the door for you." He walked over to the passenger side door, opening it. You stepped in. Adam took your bag and placed in the back seat. Adam soon followed with getting in and eventually pulled out of the parking lot. "Any place in particular you want to go?" His eyes were on the road. "There's a coffee shop, its really good and has like sandwiches and stuff.." your voice died down as you finished your sentence. "Sounds good!" Adam smiled, glancing over at you for just a second before looking back to the road. His phone was connected to aux and was playing a mix of rock and musical theater music. Just a few minutes later, you reached the coffee shop. Adam wasted no time in exiting the car and going over to open the door for you. The wind continued to blow and adams hair was dancing around and across his face. When entering the cafe, you found a table and your musically talented date pulled your chair out for you. "How was your day, beautiful?" beautiful. His words shot through your core, causing your eyes to widen and for your face to become red. "oh um it was...Good." you stuttered over you words as you delivered your eyes away from his. Of course, Adam and his charm, couldn't help but laugh. "You know, you don't have to be shy."

"Im not!"

"Are too."

'Am not"

"whatever you say." Adam pushed back his hair and as he spoke

After ordering food and drinks and having a short conversation, you both left the cafe. As you walked out, Adam grabbed your hand and you spun around to face him. Lifting an eyebrow at him, "can i help you?" Adam didn't answer. that was with words that is. He pulled you into him and placed a kiss on your red tinted lips. Your face soon turned the same shade as the roses planted outside the cafe. "sorry" he whispered as he slowly pulled away from you. "here, you have some danish crumbs on you" Adam swiped his thumb agaist the corner of you mouth, causing a smile to form across your face. Adam smiled back, guiding you to the passenger door and letting you in.

The gentleman that he was, drove you back to your place and walked you to yout front door. "Will i see you tonight? At the show?" he tilted his head as he spoke. "I don't have a ticket, sorry." Adam suddenly started fiddling with his pockets and pulled out three tickets. One for each of the remaining shows. "I have some extras. You should come. Id love to see you again." you took the tickets from him and pulled them to your chest. "I'll be there., promise" Adam stepped closer to you, one hand on your left cheek, the other on your waist. He kissed you. Again. A euphoric feeling washed over your body. You face wass hot as his thumb brushed your face. He pulled away, smiling ear to hear. He mouthed 'bye' as he walked away to his car. As he pulled off, he yelled something from his car,

"Thou art wise as thou art beautiful!"

You laughed as he drove off. You didn't know what that meant or what that line was from but, deep in your heart, you knew that everything would be just fine....

Kind of inspired by the "fandom has bad taste in music" anon and the more recent "for fandom enrichment let's argue about character's tastes" anon, going to do some hardcore projecting based on my own musical tastes:

Charles' current musical obsession is Saharan desert blues. He also fucks with some French hip-hop on the side. He generally winds up listening to a lot of music that isn't from the UK -- he kind of searches out interesting scenes on a global scale. Edwin doesn't really connect with most of what Charles listens to, but he and Charles both agree on Angelique Kidjo, so she's one of their go-tos as background music in the office.

Aside from Kidjo, Edwin is generally fond of instrumental pieces, as lyrics are distracting when he is working. He's realized that while modern cinema like "Star Wars" or "Lord of the Rings" are not to his taste, he does enjoy their musical scores so pre-show he mostly listened to film soundtracks. Both Charles and Edwin share a particular fondness for music from the James Bond films of any era. Later, Niko shows Edwin Spirited Away & Edwin falls in love with Joe Hirashi's music.

Post-gay awakening, however, Edwin embarks on a quest to understand queer culture of the last hundred or so years. He finds doesn't really like most musical theater music, though he half-heartedly defends Sondheim to Charles. He likes opera marginally more as an audience member (Charles hates it), but he doesn't care to listen to opera music outside of watching a show. He dutifully listens to various women over the years who have been important to gay culture like Judy Garland. He find it intellectually stimulating from a historical perspective and he appreciates the artistic qualties & merits, but none of it is music he feels the need to casually listen to.

Charles off-handedly mentions to Edwin that he could look into queer male musicians and this is a winning suggestion: Marc Bolan, Freddie Mercury -- Edwin is enthralled. They watch Velvet Goldmine doing a movie night with the girls. "Pretty good, innit?" was Charles' reaction, but Edwin was left breathless. He is currently enamoured with glam rock & generally on the lookout for queer male rockers (and if many of them remind him somewhat of Charles, well).

Crystal listens to a lot of Erykah Badu, who to everyone's surprise Edwin winds up liking more than Charles. She's the most likely of all of them to listen to and recognize whatever is on the radio.

Niko loves metal. She got into it through Japanese metal, but now she's more likely to listen to The Hu or Bloodywood. She does appreciate English-language metal, but she finds it more of a curiosity. She also listens to a fair amount of rap and knows about all of the beefs between rappers, stuff that even Crystal has a hard time following.

Jenny, to everyone's surprise, likes folk music and older country: Simon & Garfunkel, Neil Young, Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash. She introduces Edwin to Lavender Country (he finds it intellectually interesting through his blushes as some of the more vulgar lyrics, but ultimately not his style) and Orville Peck (he loves). This leads Edwin to discovering Lil Nas X's Old Town Road and all the remixes, which he loves so much and Charles has to ban him from playing them in the office.

Eric Forman x gn reader where Eric realizes that he’s in love with his friend (childhood or recent friend up to u) because they’re just as nerdy as Eric is so they go to every movie/convention etc. together but reader also doesn’t get along with Donna very well. So one day Donna says something out of line or her and reader get into an argument and Eric has a realization of “oh, I don’t like this” so he tells Donna off and goes to comfort/confess to reader <3 (no Donna hate it’s just for the plot 😭!!)

“Eric, we gotta hurry up, or we’ll miss the movie.” You called out, looking down at your watch. Ever since you and the gang went to see Star Wars for the first time, you and Eric were hooked. So hooked that this was the third time you were going to see it. The rest of your friends, not being as nerdy or invested in science fiction as you and Eric, immediately declined the invitation to come with.

Eric ran down the stairs into the basement, patting his pants to ensure he had his wallet and keys.

“Okay, I’m ready.” Eric opened the basement door for you, looking at the rest of his friends. “Are you guys sure you don’t wanna come?”

“No way, Forman. One time’s enough.” Hyde responded, reclining in his usual chair.

“Yeah, Eric. No one wants to be part of your and Y/n’s little nerd fest.” Kelso said absentmindedly, eyes glued to the television.

“Donna?” Eric looked at the girl hopefully. She looked at Eric, then at you, face pinching with a bit of distaste.

“No thanks.”

Eric didn’t know why you and Donna didn’t get along. But it sucked because you were his best friend, and Donna was the girl he’d been crushing on practically his whole life. Whenever he asked you about it, you said you had no idea why you were Donna’s least favorite out of the group. And he didn’t wanna ask Donna because that might cause a rift in your friend group.

“Okay then… Come on, Y/n. Let’s go.”

Donna’s little act of animosity was long forgotten by the time Eric parked the Vista Cruiser at the movie theater, thoughts of it being drowned out by the excitement of seeing A New Hope. Like the last two times, you and Eric were completely invested in the movie, pointing out the little things that you hadn’t noticed before to each other.

This is why Eric loved hanging out with you. Ever since you two met, you’ve been bonding over the same things. Comic books, superheroes, music nobody else really seemed to like. This Star Wars movie was just one of countless things the two of you could nerd out over together without judgment from the other.

“God, that was awesome,” Eric said as you and him exited the theater. 

“I don’t know if it’s possible, but I think it gets better every time we watch it.” You said as he unlocked his car, allowing you to settle into the passenger seat.

“I guess we’ll have to see it again to make sure.” You nodded in agreement before the two of you fell into silence, wondering what to do next. “Want me to take you home?”

“I’m actually getting kinda hungry.”

Eric looked up in contemplation, wondering what the best option to suggest was.

“Wanna go to the Hub?” You had probably been to that little food stop a million times, but that didn’t stop you from nodding enthusiastically.

“Hell yeah!”

The Hub wasn’t very crowded when you got there. While Eric went to order food, you nabbed the table next to the bathrooms.

“Hey, I’m gonna go to the bathroom real quick,” Eric said, setting the receipt on the table before going through the door. You fiddled with the paper, waiting for Eric to return or for your order to be called. 

Less than a minute later, someone walked into the nearly empty food joint, stopping right in front of your table.

“Hey, Y/n.” You looked up to see Donna looking down at you. “Where’s Eric?”

“Uh, in the bathroom. Why?”

“I wanted to talk to him, figured if he wasn’t at home or the theater, he’d be here. But since you’re here…” She settled into Eric’s seat, locking her hands and looking at you suspiciously. “What’s up with you and Eric?”

“What do you mean?”

“I mean, you’re always hanging around him, pretending to be into the same stuff as him. You can drop the act.”

“Donna, I have no idea what you’re talking about.” You could’ve laughed; this conversation was so absurd. “It’s not an act; Eric and I like a lot of the same stuff. That’s why we’re best friends!” Apparently, Donna wasn’t believing a single word coming out of your mouth.

And Eric, listening through the small opening of the bathroom door, couldn’t believe a word she was saying. But you and Donna were too into this developing argument to notice him or his eavesdropping.

“There’s no way!” Donna let out a little laugh, but she seemed far from amused. “There’s no way you just happen to be so into every little thing that Eric’s into unless you’re trying to get into his pants.” She laughed again at the thought, while you were both offended and somewhat horrified by the assumption. “As if he’d ever want someone like you.”

You abruptly stood up, grabbing your things as you looked at Donna in disbelief.

“You… you’re so- God, Donna! You’re just unbelievable.” You turned on your heel and stormed out of the Hub, many different feelings brewing inside you.

Meanwhile, Donna stayed sat at the table, waiting for Eric, who decided now was the time to come out of the bathroom.

“Oh, hey, Eric!” Donna grinned as if she wasn’t waiting for him and was surprised by his presence. However, the smile faded when she noticed Eric’s angry expression. “Eric, what’s wrong?”

“What’s wrong? What’s wrong? Damn, Donna! You have a lot of nerve to say all of that to Y/n and then ask me what’s wrong.”

Donna was taken aback. She clearly didn’t expect anyone else to hear your conversation, especially not the topic of said conversation. She tried to speak, maybe say that she didn’t know what Eric was talking about, but he silenced her with a raised hand before putting it back on his hip like the other.

“No, no, no, no. You’ve had plenty to say. Now it’s my turn. You know, I thought that maybe Y/n had done something to you without knowing it, and that’s why you don’t like them. But no! They haven’t done anything to you except be my friend and have common interests with me. Just because Y/n likes all the stuff I like doesn’t mean they wanna ‘get in my pants’! And even if they did, that’s none of your business.” Eric didn’t care about all the attention he was bringing to himself and Donna, too blinded by anger. He leaned down to be face to face with a speechless and taken aback Donna. “There’s nothing wrong with me, but I know what’s wrong with you, Donna. You’re jealous for no reason. Now look, whatever thing we had between us is over. Whatever I felt for you is gone, because I don’t wanna be with someone who disrespects someone I care about.”

Eric didn’t stick around to hear Donna try to form some kind of rebuttal. She called for him, but he ignored her, walking out of the Hub and looking around for you. You had only left a few minutes before him, but you were nowhere in sight, not by the door or by his car.

You were gone.

Donna was right, in a sense, though you’d never admit it to her. No, you weren’t pretending to have similar interests with Eric to get with him. But you’d be lying if you said that all that you had in common and all the time you spent together bonding over what you had in common didn’t lead to you developing a bit of a crush on your best friend. But you had to keep it a secret; it was your only option. Eric had been hopelessly in love with Donna since you were little kids; you had no real chance against her.

You felt bad leaving Eric at the Hub but figured it wouldn’t matter the second he saw Donna. He’d forget that you were the one waiting for him and have another moment with the girl of his dreams that he’d definitely tell you about the next day.

You should’ve been asleep, like the rest of your household, but Donna’s words kept you up. So you decided to go to the kitchen and have a late-night snack, especially since you ran away from the dinner you were supposed to have.

While quietly rifling through the fridge, you heard a knock at the front door. You decided to ignore it. You obviously weren’t expecting anyone this late at night. But whoever was outside persisted, knocking loudly and more frantically this time. So you left the kitchen, thinking you should at least check to see who’s there.

“Eric?” You had taken a quick peek through the window on the side of your door and were surprised to see the best friend that you had abandoned. You opened the door, watching him light up as he saw you while trying to catch his breath. “What are you doing here?”

Eric brought you into a hug that you confusedly returned.

“I heard everything Donna said.” He answered. “I’m sorry she said all of that; you didn’t deserve any of it.”

“It’s fine, Eric, really.”

“No, it’s not. She treated you like crap because she was jealous and thought you liked me.”

Your hands slowly clutched onto the back of Eric’s shirt.

“She… she wasn’t wrong.” You replied quietly, barely audible enough for Eric to pick up. But he did and hugged you closer to him.

“Well, she was wrong about one thing.” Confused, you looked up at him just to find him already looking at you. “When she talked about me not wanting someone like you, she was wrong. I do want someone like you- I want you, you know, specifically.”

Unable to take the sudden burst of excitement from Eric’s timid confession, you buried your face into the crook of his neck and gripped him tighter. Eric happily accepted the affection.

“You’re the best friend anyone could have, Eric.” Eric rubbed your back.

“Nah, at most, I’m second best to you.”

Okay so I am very adhd and have like a ton of drafts started for some fanfic ideas and wanted to focus on one to start with, but I wanted to get peoples opinions because I’m also very indecisive! Below the cut I will explain each option I have that I’ve started to help!

Slight Spoiler warnings

Option 1: okay so this idea is inspired by mamuro-chiba-ua ‘s artwork here on tumblr, though I have seen other talk about in on here, but their artwork and Au made me start to wonder how being the uncle to Vivi would effect buggy! This would focus on buggy as he goes about his life and would be a cross guild (crocodile, mihawk, and buggy! )

Option 2: for whatever reason kaveh and Alhaitham give me the swan Princess vibes. So this story would follow kaveh as he is captured by Dori and given to a mysterious man who changes him into a paradisea by day, only allowing him to return to his human form at night to build for him. Can Alhaitham save him or will he be trapped forever ( featuring Tighnari, collei and Layla as the others trapped with Kaveh and also turned into animals, Cyno as Alhaitham friend and Faruzan as the overly annoyed and sarcastic advisor to Alhaitham )

Option 3: so this one could either be gigolas or aralas, both work and I am a multi shipper who loves both options! I could also tweak this and make it a throuple if anyone is interested in that. But basically I was a total band kid and feel like Legolas would be a color guard member. Now if I do Gimli, that boy is definitely a percussionist, and I would say I could see him in the drum line as a bass player. If it’s Aragorn, I am a little more torn on that, I could see Aragorn as either a low brass player or the drum major! Basically a fun marching band AU (specifically based on DCI (drum corps international) which goes to 21 so they would all be over the age of 18!)

Option 4: so I’ll set the stage. Bilbo is the lead in the local theater companies upcoming production of Les Miserables (could totally see him singing who am I, like the voice of the original Jean Val Jean just fits in my head). But oh no, Bilbo’s babysitter ( *cough cough* Gandalf) didn’t show up and now he has to bring baby frodo with him, but he has to practice. So he call Bofur, his friend from college to see if he could come to watch frodo while he’s performing. Bofur agrees easily, but is also currently dealing with a brooding Thorin after a really shitty date and decides to bring him with. Thorin isn’t thrilled, claiming to hate musicals and only like his metal and stuff he can play with the rest of the band, but sees Bofur won’t let it go and agrees to go. He goes right in time to watch Bilbo practice the who am I song and just is like damn. Basically meet cute here and then just follows their life from there with all of life’s up and downs (plus cute little kids with frodo, fili and kili)

Option 5: okay so shanks and buggy give off like such ex energy, and I just love the idea of they got like married real young and got divorced a year or 2 later because they both wanted different things, but they are forced together like 20 years later (either a job, event, taking care of roger who is sick, something like that) and being to fall in love again!

Option 6: so I feel like this is pretty self explanatory. Basically I have begun taking both the hobbit and lotr and putting them into the star wars universe! The hobbit would include ships like bagginshield and lotr would include ships like samfro, Aragorn x Arwen, and gigolas!

Diner was weird, well no, actually people seemed to be more comfortable with each other now. But you were too busy thinking about today you didn't even notice. "y/n? are you okay darling?" Rhys asks you. you notice everyone has gone silent and is starring at you. "yeah I'm fine" you tell him before you get back to eating. "how was your day?" Rhys asked you. "it was okay" you tell him. "she showed us the city" Ruhn says "it's beautiful". "what was your favorite spot?" Bryce asked him. "definitely the rainbow I believe it was called. It's so colorful and...alive" Ruhn says. "was that the spot with the theaters and art shops?" Aelin asked. "yes it is" Rhys answers her. "I agree I think I could spend days there. I miss going to a theater, hearing music" Aelin says, sounding happy now. So different then how she acted yesterday. "from above it looked even better" Rowan says. "nah I don't think so. I think you need to be walking in it to really experience it" Aelin tells him. "well" Rowan says challenging her. "I think Aelin is right. You need to walk thru it to experience it fully. To really see the colorful houses up close, to hear the music to smell the paint. To see the beautiful dresses hanging in the ateliers" Dorian says looking over to you.

"did you show them the rainbow?" Rhys asked you shocked, knowing you haven't been there in months. You stay silent. "she showed me her atelier" Dorian tells him, which you hated him for. Rhys had tried for weeks to get you to go there, to even walk thru the rainbow but he could never get you to. Yet this stranger could. "y/n? did you go to your atelier?" Rhys asked shocked. You nod. "you make clothes?" Aelin asks. "made" you almost whisper, trying to keep the tears from showing and your voice from breaking. "she could made the most beautiful clothing. She always had the most exclusive fabrics, no one know where she got them but everyone knew that if you wanted something special made. You needed to go to her" Rhys tells Aelin when he sees you struggling. Your hands slowly begin to shake as you hear the praise of your work. 'are you okay?' you hear Rhys ask in your mind. 'yes' you send back but he knows you're lying. He lifts your head to make you look at him and you know he can see right thru you, that you're not okay. You get out of his grip and shove your chair back. "y/n darling?" he says, worry mixing with sadness at the thought that you're not okay. "I just need a minute" you tell him before you storm out. "y/n!" you hear Rhys yell behind you. 'I'll be back in a few, just need some time alone' you send him thru your minds connection. 'please stay safe' he send back. 'I will'.

You walk outside feeling the night air on your skin and you start walking and walking. Until you stand in your atelier and finally let the tears out.

Rhys pov

"is she okay?" Aelin asks, which was the last person you thought would ask. "she needs some time alone" you tell them as you see everyone is staring at you. "she really showed you her atelier?" you ask Dorian. "she did, she was really scared though and sad" he tells you. you stair at the table "she hasn't been there in months. Not after the war" you tell him "it used to be the thing that made her happy but after her friend died. She just.......". "she didn't find joy in it anymore" Aelin says softly. "like the joy of that thing vanished with her friend" Bryce says. They both sounded like they understood. "your best friend died too?" you ask them. "yes" they both say at the same time. "will she ever find that joy again?" you ask them, hoping they at least could tell you it gets better. "eventually" they both say, which gave you some hope. "how did you do it?" you ask Dorian. "I just knew what she felt, like you're not worthy of that place anymore" he says, sounding like that's how he felt too.

It's silent for a while until Aelin asks "what is the best theater show you have here right now?" the question seemed random at first, but you realize these people could all use something good and fun for a change. "you know what, I'm gonna take you guys to the best show not only in Velaris but in Pythian" you say. "what about y/n?" Dorian asked, he seemed to really care for her. "I will let her know" you tell him. "how?" "well we kinda can communicate in our minds" you tell Dorian. "so you know what she thinks? All the time?" Dorian asks, sounding curious and something else you couldn't really place. "I used to, she learned to keep me out, so now we only communicate what we want to. Well, and I feel it if she's experiencing intense emotions, like this afternoon, twice" you tell them, quickly giving Dorian and Ruhn a look. Seeing if one of them would react in a weird way. they both did.

"okay what happened this afternoon?" Aelin asks, noticing it too "I'm curious now". "I would like to know what happened too" you demand, seeing them try their hardest to look anywhere but at you right now. "nothing happened" Ruhn says a little to quickly. "yeah nothing happened" Dorian says. "did you know what she was feeling?" Aelin asks you, seeming to like where this was going. She definitely likes gossip .....and trouble "yes, and I normally like to reserve that feeling for when she's with me, alone" you say, they both stair at you, the way a 5 year old would when he's busted when he was eating a cookie his mom told him not to eat.

"speak up, who of you was it" you demand now. "not me!" they say both at the same time, way to quick. "they both where. Ruhn kissed her first, then went away. Dorian kissed her in her atelier" Rowan says, and all eyes shoot towards him. "how do you know that?" Ruhn asks, not even thinking about what you would think of it. No he seemed absolutely certain no one could know, and yet somehow Rowan did. "yeah how do you know, I didn't saw a sneaky bird anywhere" Dorian says. "I just know shit" Rowan says grinning "and you 2 are definitely in trouble". "oh yes they are! What the fuck are you thinking you're guest here and you go after my girl?!" you almost yell at them. "well I" Ruhn begins. "well uhm" Dorian says unsure.

"before we lay all the blame on them" Hunt says butting in "seems like your 'wife' kissed not just one person that isn't you but 2. I would start to wonder if the problem isn't them but her, or maybe more likely......you ". no that couldn't be, couldn't it? Rowan is grinning leaning back in his chair. "What!" you yell at him, hating how he's acting towards you right now. He starts bursting out laughing "oh my god, this is too good" he says. "what's so fucking funny Rowan!" you say demanding an answer. "oh you'll find out" he says. You give him an angry look. "well, let's go to the theater" Rowan says standing up, everyone slowly follows his example. "you 2 are coming with me, we need to talk" you tell Dorian and Ruhn.  What a shitshow, you better get those people home. Fast!

"what happened, please tell me you 2 initiated it" you ask Dorian and Ruhn. "well I told her I'd like to kiss her. believe me when I tell you I had no idea why I asked. It just, felt right I guess, I can't explain it. But I just moved closer to her, she could have pulled away if she wanted but she didn't" Ruhn tells you "she actually wanted it" he quickly adds. "and how would you know she wanted it?" you ask him. "because I can read minds" he says "and I immediately walked away when I heard you in her head". "it was kind of the same for me. I'm just pulled to her somehow and she pulled towards me. I have no idea what's going on. Like Ruhn said it just felt....right" Dorian explains. "let me tell you what's going on here" Rowan says walking in. telling something that shocks you, but explains everything.

y/n pov

you finally put in the last stitch. You sit back to look at it. It's been so long since you actually sewn something. And it just felt like....like coming home. You start to clean up the fabrics, when you hear the door open. You immediately feel who it is, even with your back towards him. "I told you I wanted to be alone" you tell Rhys, but as you turn around to face him, he's not alone. Dorian and Ruhn are standing behind him. "we just came back from the theater and saw a light burning, what are you doing here?" Rhys asks softly, understanding it was a hard topic to talk about for you. "I finished it" you tell him, not being able to look at him. "what did you finish?" he asks confused. "her dress" you say pointing to the wedding dress in the back.

"it's beautiful" Dorian says before Rhys can. "it is" Rhys says. "you made all of this?" Ruhn asks you, clearly impressed. You softly nod, looking at them now. It was weird, normally you could feel when people walked in here, but just now, you only felt Rhys. Was it because Dorian and Ruhn weren't supposed to be here? because they were from another world? "I started working on this" you say laying out a jacket, it was deep red with golden embellishments. "it's for you" you say looking at Dorian. "the colors of Adarlan" he says in a whisper. He walks over to you touching the fabric "I've never seen anything like this. It's beautiful y/n" he says his eyes meeting yours. "I made the collar a little higher for.....you know" you say pointing towards his throat with the scar. "thank you" he whispers before he walks closer and hugs you tightly "thank you". "you're so welcome. I hope it's a new start. For all of you" you tell him. "thank you" he says again as he let's go of you. and you wipe a tear away that had slipped his eye.

"you really started sewing again?" Rhys ask not believing it, looking at the wedding dress you finished. The one your best friend was supposed to wear on her wedding day, that would now never come. You nod "I guess it doesn't scare me as much anymore" you say, quickly looking over at Dorian who was to busy, looking at the gold details on his new coat, to notice. You wonder if he'd even knew what he did for you today.

"wow this is...this is beautiful. How did you even get this fabric?" Ruhn asks standing at the far end of the shop. He was looking at a coat you made for one of the sons of the high lord of the autumn court, who of course never came to pick it up.  "oh a girl never tells her secrets" you say jokingly, seeing Ruhn's eyes grew a little darker at your command. "do you like it?" you ask him. "I love it, I never wear something formal, believe me my father tried. But if I had anything like this at home......I would definitely wear it". "try it on then" you tell him smiling. "really?" he asks unsure. "yes go on try it on". he tries it on and it couldn't have looked better on anyone.

"i fucking love it" Ruhn says looking in the mirror. "you can have it" you tell him. "wait what! Really?". "yes the person I made it for never came to pick it up and I guess he's never going to. So it's yours if you want it". "I don't have any money with me" he says. "it's a gift, from a friend" you tell him smiling.

You don't know why but you felt like you've know them for years instead of a day. It was weird but somehow it just felt, right. Meant to be almost. "let's go home. I promised you something that I now know I can actually make true" Rhys says with a wide grin. "what promise?" you ask him. "well let's go home and you find out darling" he says. You already felt yourself getting exited, was this what you think it would be?

Facts :

He was part of a Jpop band called Apeace from 2010 to 2021. The band originally consisted of 21 artists divided into three subunits of 7 members. But then the number of members decreased with time. The artists were all South Korean and produced under the label Xing Entertainment.

Yeonguk was part of the Lapis5 subunit. In an interview recently given in France, as he was one of the artist guests at Japan Expo, he explaine that his band used to perform regularly in a theater and that his subunit would produce up to 18 times a month. (X)

In the same interview, he explained that he practiced Taekwondo as a child and intended to become a professional martial artist. However, for personal reasons, he could not achieve that goal. He thus thought about what he wanted to do in life and came up to the conclusion that he loved being in movement above anything else. He thus took interest in dancing and singing.

He also participated to the program G-EGG. He was a part of Team D with 4 other artists. This project was meant to form a band of both Japanese and Korean artists.

He debuted his solo career in 2021 with the title CHECKMATE, during the pandemic. Back then he was back in Korea. Shortly after, he had to do his military service. He said he also had the opportunity to focus on his studies. (X)

He is a Michael Jackson fan. He loves dancing and is good at beatboxing. (I was able to witness that in person, he's really good at it. Also I could sense his Michael Jackson influences. Looking back at it, he did a lot of Moonwalk inspired moves, his gesture and the fluidity of his movements were kinda similar to Michael's. Also he often references to Black and/or white. Even in his outfits on stage, there were a lot of black and white contrast and the color only came from a few accessories or the lighting on stage).

He apparently has three older sisters, one of which was also an idol. Her name is Jeong Sol and she was part of the girl group Skarf from August to December 2012.

He has a nephew that, according to him, looks just like him. (X)

Yeonguk is very dedicated to his work. He trains regularly and takes his job very seriously. He updates about his training or the vocal warmups he does when he's about to perform on his social media. You can clearly see how his taekwondo training plays a role in his physical abilities cause he is super flexible and agile.

He stated that his military service in Korea lead him to reflect on what to do if he were to be in a leading position in his every day life or how to act if a war were to happen. He said that he became more conscious of the impact of his decisions and tries to transfer what he learned at the military in his career as an artist. (X)

He seems to enjoy drawing though he says he's not that good at it. And he plays the piano. (X) (X)

He was and is still pretty close with the artists he worked with in the past, as he mentioned at Japan Expo. (X)

He enjoys coffee and likes to sit in coffee shops to write lyrics. (X)

He attended the Japan Expo convention in Paris from the 11th to the 14th of July 2024 as a guest star. He performed the four days at least two to three times a day, either alone or with French dance groups that covered trendy Kpop hits. His presence on stage is intense and you can feel the passion he has for music. He was very cheerful and friendly with the crowd, he kept interacting with the fans that were on the front row, even the people that were here out of curiousity, taking their phones so they would get better videos of him to post on their socials. He was really smooth with the crowd and the way he occupied space. He was very professional, you could feel his experience in the way he spoke and how he was hyping up the room. I didn't know him at all and to be honest with you I'm very picky when it comes to music. I can guarantee you not a single soul got bored during the live show. And by the end of his stage he held photocalls with the fans. The dedication this guy has, I swear. Poor guy was exhausted and all sweaty and still held a photocall event a few minutes after his performance.

(i cried) You need to see these guys live, the vocal ability of the main singers is absurd, it doesn't come through fully in recordings. 'Oppenheimer has achieved a massive box office feat for a biographical movie. The Christopher Nolan film stars Cillian Murphy as theoretical physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer, leading a massive ensemble cast that also includes Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr., Florence Pugh, Josh Hartnett, Rami Malek, and Kenneth Branagh. The movie opened opposite Greta Gerwig's Barbie on July 21​​​, forming one half of the box office juggernaut known by the portmanteau "Barbenheimer."

Per Collider, the Oppenheimer box office has surpassed the $910.8 million gross of Bohemian Rhapsody this weekend. This feat makes it the highest-grossing biographical movie of all time. Other titles it has surpassed in its rise to the top include 2014's American Sniper ($547.4 million) and the 2017 musical The Greatest Showman ($435.7 million).

Will Oppenheimer Join The $1 Billion Club?

This historic Oppenheimer record comes at a time when the movie has already shattered a wide variety of records. Included among Oppenheimer's accomplishments are becoming the highest-grossing R-rated movie of the year and the highest-grossing World War II movie of all time. At the time of writing, it is also the third highest-grossing movie of the year worldwide, behind The Super Mario Bros. Movie and Barbie.

It remains to be seen how high the movie will climb, especially since it is still only available in theaters. The Oppenheimer streaming release date has not yet been announced, which could allow the movie enough runway to continue to approach the $1 billion milestone. However, this will get more and more difficult for the movie the farther it gets from its premiere.

Oppenheimer is currently on track to gross less than $4 million every upcoming weekend at the box office. Considering it has a gap of roughly $100 million to close before it reaches $1 billion, it doesn't seem likely to cross that mark before it's out of theaters. While international markets will help boost its chances, it faces stiff competition from upcoming titles including Saw X, The Expendables 4, and The Exorcist: Believer, which will slowly push it off more and more screens.'
