And yet people try to praise Anakin or Dooku for “leaving a corrupt system”. As if that was why Anakin left. As if Dooku did anything but make it worse. People praise the Mandalorians for only following their own rules. As if we’ve ever seen the Mandalorians truly stand for anything.

As if we don’t already have the most metal anti-authoritarian, badass character for people to praise.

And yet these parts of the fandom hate him. I wonder why 🤔

(Path of Vengeance) This is what mindfulness means, this is what emotional regulation means, this is what the Jedi are teaching. It's not "you can never experience an emotion", it's "you must acknowledge it and control it before it controls you, because our abilities literally work based on the emotions we use, the Force is our emotions". The Jedi do not repress their emotions, that has never been what they've taught. They've taught that you need to get a handle on your shit because that's genuinely how the Force works--the dark side is fear, anger, greed, using the Force with those emotions specifically has consequences. But Jedi are still human! They still have feelings! But the more they practice emotional regulation, the better they get at it, the smoother their ability to acknowledge something and then let it pass through them. And that's something they learn from early on:

I love (hate) how Dark Disciple Clone Wars arc & the book acknowledged Asajj's character and depth like once or twice then called it a day. They did not care for her other than that, she was only there to uplift Quinlan's character the rest of it

Now this. This right here. It could've been everything. This is probably my favorite moment from that godawful arc/book. But nooooo a moment later Quinlan shows up and ruins my life like every time and Asajj almost dies 2 times because ofc
