Kabru drives like an old lady because he learned from an old lady (Milsiril) and also he has Anxiety and also elves drive like shit this is a common well-known fact in dunmeshi modern au land. They didn't like horses and they don't like cars and if it was up to them everyone would just teleport like the gods CLEARLY intended. And its one thing Kabru has retained from his elven education.

His car is also an old shitty tiny matchbox, likely an hand-me-down from a dead member of the canaries. Its also FILTHY. Kabru has literally pretended to not have a car rather than taking people on it just so he wouldn't have to clean it.

Anyway do yall remember that video of that guy that starts all filled with road rage and makes a character for this driver who like was driving too slow I think? And then by the time he got to the end of the tirade he was like wait I like this guy (the character he made up) I don't want to be angry at this guy. That's 99% of what driving with Kabru is. He will start to go into road rage mode but by the end he will have weaved a complex narrative for this random dude who cut him off and he will end up being like sympathetic with him. It's fascinating. It's the only thing that makes travelling in his shitty ass filthy car in which the a/c smells like cat pee worth it.

#kabru #he never goes above 87 km/h because if he does the car starts shaking like crazy its specifically 87km/h he tested this #86 is fine #its a two door you have to fold the front seats to access the back #and the only door that works is on the driver's side #the other door doesn't close unless its locked by key on the outside #sometimes it opens at random while the car is going so kabru has attached a piece of string to it #if the door starts shaking before the 87 km/h mark he grabs the string to keep it closed until he's arrived #it rains inside his car. sometimes even when its not raining outside. its a mystery. or cat pee. probably cat pee

#random pet post #it really is a weird coat pattern #I'm never sure if I should describe him accurately as a white marked tabby or as the first impression people get of a black and white cat #love his little backward C's #I got all my other pets around the same time and they've been dying off one by one this last year or so #I'm down to just this 4yo kit and Bruiser #actually I'm not done whispering in the tags #pretty soon it's just gonna be me and this terrible little man against the world #and he gives me such weird problems you cannot even begin to imagine #took to the leash and harness without a bit of difficulty but I can't take him anywhere cuz he freaks out about people 500ft away #really difficult to find sitters for him cuz he gets so stressed about changes and waits until 3am to SCREAM #he's 17 lbs and wants to sleep on my chest 14 hours a day #took him on a work trip a week or 2 ago cuz of aforementioned petsitting troubles and some kind of wire got crossed #so instead of stress peeing in my laundry basket he now humps the nearest blanket covered limb to alert me of problems #he got scared of his water dish recently and is only now starting to get over it after 3 weeks of drama #he knocked it over last night and humped my leg while I tried to sleep to try and convey to me that he was thirsty #I'm thinking of getting a second cat and just fucking hoping that it'll be normal and maybe Prompto can target it for some of his weirdness

I am obsessed with the scenario of someone doing a long hold (either on purpose or from a circumstance they can't control) and then being so worn out afterwards, that even if they made it to the washroom in time and didn't have an accident, they still wind up peeing their pants a little while later because the act of holding so much for so long made their muscles so loose.

holy fucking shit i finally Get It. i finally Get urinetown. i get what little sally says when she says "urinetown is here", it's because urinetown is a world where everything wrong with society is placed into one box. what's interesting about this, and this is what makes it so intrinsically Brechtian, is the fact that even though urinetown is conceptual, it's still inherently society, because all of the conflict in the story stems from real life issues.

#whats also interesting is that by putting every problem into one world you start to see common denominators #there is always a rich antagonist #there is always a young naive boy who thinks he can change the world #there are always doting cops who only deepen the wounds they initially caused anyways #there is always a desperation for self-preservation #the only thing thats different are differences in problems #they need to pay to pee but theyre also poor and sick and thirsty and hungry #because there are so many issues placed into one bubble its impossible to ethically solve them all at once #but at the same time thats exactly what occurs in a real society #thats where the self awareness comes from #urinetown #please god tell me this makes sense

i found a book abt the anti lawn movement at the library & decided to sit out in my yard & read it. but ironically there was a neverending barage of power tool noises making it difficult to focus. so i walked to a nature park near me in order to escape the dreaded sounds. almost stopped at the mowed picnic table area bc i hate walking but fortunately pushed forward and made myself walk up an annoying hill to an area that is a preservation of a native oak savanna & sat down against a tree near the edge of the path & did my reading there. and honest to god that was a 100/10 experience. there was something so powerful abt being in a preserve for a locally native habitat while reading abt the impacts homeowners can have on native plant preservation! it powered up my energy towards my life mission (evangelize abt enviormentally sustainable gardening to every single person who comes within a 10 ft radius of me) by like. 15 points. also a deer walked up to me and that was super cool
