Mafia!Price warm up because I am… so tired. I’ve had back-to-back events the last few days and ya bitch canNOT hang. So, while I rehydrate and wait for caffeine to work it’s magic, here’s this:
Part 1 here
No Content Warnings
Tumblr media
Mr. Price is the best boss you’ve ever had. He’s straightforward and blunt, but unfalteringly courteous. Likes things a certain way — his own way — but that’s nothing you’re unfamiliar with from rich men responsible for billions. At very least, he seems to respect when you challenge him.
“We’ve always done records this way,” he says.
“Yes, sir,” you answer serenely, “but that was before you had me.”
He stares you down and you beam right back, tablet balanced on your forearm. One beat, two. In the corner of your eye, you see Gaz shift. You tilt your head at your boss.
He sits back in his big office chair, thumb swiping over his index and middle fingers. A gesture you’ve been mentally cataloguing as “contemplative” — perhaps deciding if he’s annoyed or amused. You don’t let yourself get nervous seeing it; you’re good at your job and you know it. He’s going to know it too, by god.
“And what do you have to do with it, luv?”
Your smile stretches wider as you take that as an invitation to round his desk. He turns and shifts a bit to make room for you, eyebrows ticking up as you set a neatly paper-clipped report in front of him, highlighted for convenience.
“See here?” You point at one section, a list of finance records. “Inconsistencies that the accountants took two months to notice. Two!”
He grunts as you set it aside, face up, for further perusal and then show him the next set. Different highlighter (and a smiley face in the corner).
“And look here, doing it this way, we noticed the discrepancies within a week,” you explain.
He picks up the page, eyes scanning over it thoroughly before setting it down. Taps his index finger over the discrepancy (circled in bright red) twice.
“Would you happen to have the account — ah, thank you.”
You hum, smoothing the sticky note (hot pink, shaped like a heart) onto the page. “So what do you think, sir?”
He runs a hand down his face, palm rasping over his beard. But there is a grateful note to his gaze as he glances at you.
“We’ll be doing it this way from now on, then.”
“Thrilling, sir. I’ll send out a memo.”
He waves you off, frown already forming on his face. You politely leave his office, stop by the break room to make a fresh cup of tea (a dollop of cream only, no sugar) and knock on the closed door. It’s Gaz that opens it.
“For the boss,” you say. “Before heads start rolling.”
“You’re a doll,” he breathes, accepting the cup and slipping back inside.
You happily toddle back to your desk and begin calling appointment confirmations. You’ve got about a million emails and a hundred calls to make.
Working for Price also comes with some… eccentricities. For one, you have a driver now.
Usually Farah, sometimes her partner Alex. On the rare occasion it’s Gaz. They always usher you into the backseat. On rainy days (so, most days in the UK) they hold an umbrella over your head while you scurry into the luxury leather interior of whatever stupidly expensive ride you’re taking.
That was a non-negotiable when you and Mr. Price discussed the details of your employment contract with him. Something about safety…? You feel silly being driven to work as an assistant, but it was your first encounter with the Steel Gaze of Decision and it was unfortunately effective.
Not that you mind the rides! All three of your usual drivers are wonderful. So friendly and chatty. You love hearing about Alex’s niece and Farah’s hobbies, Gaz’s little “spats” with Soap. You spoil them with extra treats from whatever bakery you make them stop at for morning breakfast. (Always local, you love supporting small businesses and strong arm Price into doing so as well).
There’s the gun as well. You’ve only seen it once or twice, always discreetly hidden under his suit jacket. A shoulder holster, all black. Pretend that you don’t see it because… well, you’re not entirely sure it’s legal and you’d rather live in the blissful cloud of plausible deniability.
And speaking of — there’s his bodyguard. To be fair, bodyguards aren’t a new or weird presence with your bosses. Expensive men, they need protection. Ghost is a different kind though.
He always covers the lower half of his face — actually, he’s covered head to toe. Usually in black, sometimes with little skeleton or skull motifs. And he’s fucking big, which is saying something because Mr. Price isn’t a small man either.
Ghost hardly interacts with you, but he’s unfailingly polite when he does. Not talkative, but he holds doors for you, has walked you down to the car. Even once attitude-checked a guest that decided to be rude to you. Didn’t even say anything, just walked into the guy’s personal bubble and stared him down until he subsided. Then he turned, gave you a nod, and you squeezed his arm before toddling off to let Price know his appointment had arrived.
All around the vibes in the office are pleasant, if sometimes stuffy. A little odd. All of his employees are polite if not kind to you, and Price himself is a fair and reasonable man — at least with you.
(The first time you heard him raise his voice through the closed office door nearly scared the daylights out of you. He always uses a low, even tone when speaking to you, so to hear his voice booming like that was something of a shock. Even more shocking was when he opened the door — damn near throwing his “guest” out — before turning to you.
“Call Farah when you have a mo’, would you?” He asked, calm as you please.
You blinked, still having war flashbacks of your last boss. “Yes, sir.”
“Cheers, luv.”)
There’s also the “field trips” as you call them.
Mr. Price is something of a very “hands on” businessman (“micromanager” you tease when he’s in a good mood) who has a hand in several industries. One of them is shipping. Which means that sometimes you find yourself standing beside him in warehouses or at loading docks. And of course you have to go, you’re his assistant! You take meeting notes, provide information or report details. Basically act as his second brain while he reams out idiots or organizes plans.
You suck it up, but you rather hate the smell of low tide. And the occasional gusts of blood on the sea breeze from fishermen gutting their catches. Price catches you looking ill once or twice and at least makes an effort to keep things short after that.
“Poor thing,” Soap teases when you’re in the back of the car, fussing at your wind-swept hair. “Get a bit blown, did you?”
“MacTavish,” Price snaps.
That’s the other thing. Even the slightest hint of suggestive or inappropriate words at your expense are met with firm, almost harsh, reprimand from your boss. It does wonders for you nerves and your respect for him.
“Wish I’d known we were going to the docks,” you sigh, carefully picking at pins to fix your hair. “I would have used more hairspray.”
“Thought I told you?” Price says.
“No, sir, you did not,” you answer, long-suffering. “You know you can put it into the scheduling app, right?”
He blinks. “Scheduling app.”
You blink back at him. “Oh, dear. Here, look at this.”
You spend the entire ride back to the office showing him how your scheduling software works so that you don’t have to deal with any more surprise dock visits.

Comfortember 2023 Day 6: “Notes”
A/N: My sporadic contribution to Comfortember. It’s short but Johnny Cage bbs come get y’all juice. It’s my birth month and I’m closing in on the end of my semester so I can’t promise anything but please enjoy!!
Pairing: Johnny Cage x Reader
Warnings: none, fluff :)
Tumblr media
Notes. Johnny left them everywhere. Don’t get him wrong. He definitely preferred the convenience of using his phone to send you little memos. It was instant and Johnny could really accommodate his own attention span by using his phone but when he found out on accident how much you loved them, he made a point of it.
You both still remembered the first of its kind.
A pink sticky note on the back of your script that said “And it was all a dream!” with the most hastily-drawn smiley face ever.
You laughed when you saw it. It was a miracle that it hadn’t become a casualty to the rough handling of your scripts before you discovered it.
He had to have done it when you were putting your post-its in your script, marking it up the night before. You hadn’t thought much of the clumsy kiss he gave you when he checked in as the sun went down. Then again you hadn’t been paying that close attention to him or anything else for that matter. A glass of water. A “How’s it going, baby?” A stumble and a peck. And his leg and hand knocking right into the back of the thick stack of 8.5 by 11 copy paper in your grasp as he had moved to sit next to you.
The bump into the script in your hand had been completely intentional, you realized with delight at the table read. It made your Instagram story in seconds accompanied by the words ‘original illustration by @johnny.cage’ and some pink hearts in the top right corner.
That had sealed it.
The next one you found was in your purse. Well, not your purse exactly. It was in the compact in your purse. Blue. “Hey, good-lookin.’” A winky face. It had fluttered out as you were landing out of the country for a shoot. You still had your neck pillow on. You sent Johnny one of the ugliest selfies you had ever taken with it. Against your protests, it became his lock screen photo.
Then they truly popped up everywhere. Your boyfriend was relentless.
A set of expensive rings you’d stared at a little too long on Rodeo. Purple sticky note. “For my precious.” A noble but indecent-looking stick figure attempt at Gollum was near it, partially scribbled out.
Surprise coffee in your trailer. Yellow note. Sunshine with sunglasses.
New boots, courtesy of Johnny. Pink. “Step on me in these.”
Sleeping in while he had left at the crack of dawn. Pink. “Busy all day. Sushi at our regular spot for dinner.” Heart.
Almost all of them made your Instagram story. The dick that looked like it had been drawn by a middle school boy on a blue sticky note slapped to the bathroom mirror, for example, hadn’t made the cut. The ones that did though… Johnny reposted each within 5 minutes, no matter what time it was.
Like the orange sticky note you woke up to under your glasses that said ‘Jinkies!’ You had gone to bed and left them on your nightstand at 4 am. Johnny had stayed up with you. He had left at 6 am for the day. It made you worry about his sleep schedule.
It didn’t matter that you couldn’t keep up with his god-like speed in making unique sticky notes. You posted them. And you kept and remembered all of them. All of them. Yes, even the blue doodle dick.
Again, Johnny definitely preferred sending you texts and voice memos as soon as he felt like you were forgetting how hot you were, which was usually several times a day. It should also be noted that the sticky notes never detracted from the amount of attention he was already giving you. Johnny was a beast at reminding you how much he loved you.
As he had said it once: “There’s no threshold, baby. I’ll die telling you how sexy your walker is; the last sticky note I ever leave you will tell you the same thing.”
He slapped one on your ass after he had said that. Yellow. “Johnny Cage wuz here.”

It wasn't often that your dear friend Jamie invited you over to his home. Your little group often spent time at Sunwoo's (who prefers to be called Jett) house or showed up at Ryo's uninvited. He was always too lazy to host or feared disturbing his roommate, but today he wanted for you all to play a console game he just bought.
You sat on the floor in front of Jett, who was on the couch battling against Ryo. You watched the game on the screen as you awaited your turn, as Jamie came from the kitchen with more snacks. Jett was currently losing, yelling and leaning into Ryo in hopes of throwing his game. You laughed before looking at your brown haired friend who sat on the floor next to you.
"We're not bothering your roommate are we?"
"Nah, I don't think he's home right now."
After about another hour of playing the game and eating junk food, you needed to use the bathroom. Setting your controller down you looked over to Jamie, asking for directions to the bathroom.
"It's down the hall, first door to the right."
You nodded, getting up and going on your way to find the toilet. You stopped in front of a closed door, pushing it open to reveal NOT a bathroom. You look around, taking in the room. It was well lit, the walls decorated with paintings in various sizes. In the center of the room was an easel, and a man standing in front of it who's gaze seemed to have shifted from the piece in front of him to you. He was wearing comfortable clothes protected by an apron, a paintbrush in one hand and palette in the other.
"Oh uh- Sorry. You must be Jamie's roommate, I was just looking for the bathroom."
He offers you a small smile before returning to his work.
"No worries, it's one door over."
From where you stood you couldn't really tell what he had been painting, but what you could tell was that the man himself was a piece of art. He had beautiful purple eyes and sharp features that you could almost believe he were a marble statue come to life. After taking him and the room in for a little longer you spoke up once again.
"Your art is very beautiful."
He looks up and smiles at you again before responding.
"Thanks. I'm working on pieces for my portfolio, though I don't think anything I paint could compare to your beauty."
You were left speechless as you felt the tip of your ears burn.
"O-oh. Thank you. I'll be- uh- going now..." You stuttered out, before turning and going back to your original task.
Find and use the bathroom.
After doing your business, you returned back downstairs to find that your friends switched to watching a movie.
"Geez, you took forever in there!" Jett complains.
"Did you take a shit or something?" Ryo asks, scrunching his face up at you.
The other two laugh at his statement before you give a response.
"I don't see how any of that is your business," you huffed. Instead of rejoining your companions in the living room, you make your way into the kitchen. There was a magnetic basket stuck to the side of the fridge with pens, some memo pads and sticky notes in them. You grabbed one of the sticky notes and a pen and begin to write your note. You look around for a place to set it as your eyes land on a coffee machine.
Bingo
The machine must belong to your friend's mysterious and attractive roommate, as you knew your friend didn't really enjoy coffee all that much.
You stuck the note on the bottom of a mug sitting underneath the machine before setting it back in place and finally returning to the living room.
{timeskip}
The next morning, Li made his way towards the kitchen for his daily cup of coffee. He would be headed off to class soon and needed a bit of caffeine to start the day. Jamie had already been up, also about to leave for class. After brewing his coffee and picking up his mug, ne noticed a yellow corner of a sticky note peeking out from the bottom.
Peeling the note off, confused, he brought it up to eye level to read.
"If you ever need a muse (or wanna go out :D) call me~ XXX-XXX-XXXX (Jamie's Bathroom Friend)"
A light blush dusted his face at the note. This had to have been left by his roommates attractive friend yesterday. He was so distracted buy the number written in front of him that he didn't notice Jamie peeking over his shoulder.
"That's why they took so long in the bathroom! Hah, looks like one of my best mates likes you."
The man gave his flat mate a firm pat on the back before going about his day. The light blush on Li's face darkened in embarassment at the realization Jamie had seen what was written. Drinking his coffee, he sat down and put the note in his pocket.
He would have to put the number in his phone later.

Hii can I request some angsty Amber Appleton with a fluff or smut ending???
What the hell
Amber Appleton x fem! reader
Warnings: angst, some smut, coarse language, fluff, mentions of Amber’s parents’ death
Amber was an optimist. But one afternoon, everything she’s tried so hard to forget comes rushing back to her, causing her to crumble. But hey, Amber was Amber. She always picks herself up.
Tumblr media
“Amber?” You called out once you got home, shutting the door and kicking off your shoes, “Honey, I’m home.”
Silence. Very odd. Very worrisome.
Amber was usually curled up on the couch with a book this time of day or sitting at the island with a mug of tea in hand. Instead, you came home to what seemed to be an empty apartment this evening. You looked in the two rooms and she wasn’t there. Your last location was the ensuite bathroom in the bedroom you shared— you thought she’d be in there taking a shower, but also, no.
She didn’t leave you a sticky note, she didn’t text you, she didn’t leave you a voicemail— you didn’t even have one single missed call from her. Hurriedly, you reached into your jean pocket to grab your phone again so you could call her. Amber doesn’t pick up, so you resort to checking her location in this app you had her on. “Where the hell is my wife?” You muttered to yourself while refreshing the app.
Cemetery. She was at a cemetery.
It wasn’t like her to just go anywhere without telling you, and today wasn’t a significant date — you knew when her parents passed on and it wasn’t on today’s date. Now you were contemplating whether to go down there or just wait at home, extremely worried that she has not come online once. ‘What if she needed a ride home?’ You thought to yourself, ‘She must be upset. Otherwise she would’ve responded.’
You went ahead to take a quick shower to freshen up after spending all day at work and outside, turning up the notification volume on your phone just in case she called or texted back. After your shower, you went back to the kitchen and opened the fridge to get a drink. There were a couple Tupperwares inside, filled with food. And, sticky notes on them. You took them out to read them. ‘Just in case I make it home later than you do today. Your favourite.’
‘Dessert’s in this one. Don’t worry about me, just needed some time with my Mom and Dad. Will be home ASAP.’
You put the Tupperware containing dessert back into the fridge and set the one with dinner down on the countertop. Relief washed over you upon reading that, at least now you knew Amber didn’t just up and leave the house. You poured the food into a pan and heated it up before eating. Your mind wanders in the meantime, thinking about the moment Amber told you about her parents and how she used to live with her Mom. On a bus. You didn’t grow up very well-off but was fortunate enough to have a roof over your head where you didn’t have to worry about hiding from others. Despite everything, Amber was a more optimistic and cheerful person than you were. You liked your life now, but it was clear the Amber really, really loved it. You loved her so much and thinks that she deserves the world— and she feels that way about you, doing every little thing you like to make you happy and bring a smile to your face.
You both acknowledged what’s happened but it wasn’t something either of you would bring up in conversations casually for obvious reasons. Your parents were both still around but your relationship with them was extremely complicated and toxic so you haven’t seen them in at least three years. The eventual passing of your parents, you haven’t given it much thought. You were the safest and happiest you’ve been in years living alone with Amber and you wouldn’t change that for the world.
Right before you dug into some dessert, Amber sends you a voice memo.
‘I just left the cemetery. I’m making my way home now. Have you had dinner yet? I’ll see you soon, okay, darling?’
‘Finished my dinner, babe. About to have some dessert now. Can’t wait to cuddle with you.’
‘Me too, my love. Can’t wait to squeeze you.’
You were glad she sent you voice memos, because you could tell almost instantly how she was feeling and she seemed okay. Well, sounded okay.
While you were washing up the dishes, Amber returned home and immediately engulfed you in a hug. “Hi, baby.” You hugged her back tightly, rubbing her back and inhaling the smell of her shampoo.
“How’s your day been?”
“So glad to be home. And that it’s Friday.” You let go of the hug. She smiles, “I’m gonna go take a shower, okay? You wanna join me?”
You already showered, but you weren’t gonna say no to that— that’s for sure.
————
“You’re sure?” You asked, leaning closer to her, your mouth right by her ear.
You feel her nodding her head, humming in agreement. With that, you pressed a trail of kisses across her shoulder, going back up to behind her ear to reach a particular sensitive spot. Amber exhales harshly, her arms around you tightening. The lower your kisses went, the bigger the gap between you and her. She wasn’t happy about it.
Chuckling against her skin, she squirms, whimpering softly. You reached over to turn the water off, repositioning yourself so that you were standing behind her, you reached forward and started to circle her clit with your fingertips.
“What the hell—”
You squeezed her ass next, resuming your gesture to build up her arousal. With her breathing heavy and her barely able to stay standing, you knew she was reaching her breaking point soon enough. It’s been a few weeks since the last time, and she definitely wasn’t subtle about her feelings.
Amber was pretty worked up already, and it definitely wasn’t long before you felt and heard the familiar sounds and sensations from her right before she unravels. But you pulled your fingers out and carried her onto the countertop instead, not wanting either of you to fall. She holds herself up with her palms, head thrown back, mouth hanging open while she obediently kept her legs open for you. While you, you diligently curled your fingers upwards each time you entered her to stroke her g-spot. It was making her go crazy for you— noises falling from her mouth in a never ending stream, the giggling, the heavy breathing, how she was twitching beneath and clenching around you. And fuck, how she was basically riding your hand as you worked her over.
Reconnecting your lips with hers was pretty much what did it for her. The closeness. She finally unravels, coating your fingers and hand with her juices. You slow down and pulled them out after a few moments. “Was that good?” You grinned.
“Good? You’ve got to be kidding me, honey. You’re amazing.” Amber scoffs, “Ugh, I love you so much.”
You chuckled lowly, “Oh, yeah? Show me.”
“If you want that, that’s what I’m gonna give you.” She mirrors your grin, pressing another kiss to your lips. “Do you?”
“Just fuck me already.”
“Oh, that’s so hot.” She purrs into your ears, “Very eager, hm?”

Digital Tools
(For the Witch)
•☽────✧˖°˖⛤˖°˖✧────☾•
You may be thinking, "Locke, you're devoted to the Old Way. Why are you blogging about technology?"
Well, the truth is: I love technology. It makes my life easier, and when it comes to witchcraft, I have found so many different tools to both boost my academic productivity and help keep my focus.
So, without further ado, here are five free programs that I use to study witchcraft with:
Canva Whiteboard
Planable
Google Keep
Finch
Live Transcribe
Now, I know that new software can be a bit hard to digest, especially if a witch is inexperienced with technology to begin with. So, let me break down everything for you. I've kept all my information short, snappy, and easy to grasp right away.
Tumblr media
Canva Whiteboard
Pros
Visual organization
Customizable templates
Infinite space
Cloud storage
Cons
Learning curve
Text limitations
A lot of people use Canva for making lovely little infographics, icons, and wallpapers. What they don't know is that Canva has a whiteboard function that allows their users to play with sticky notes, shapes, stickers, multimedia, graphics, and more. I find this absolutely perfect for making mind maps, keeping sigils, and keeping a visual record of herbs and crystals.
This is great for visual-style learners who like to study with minimal writing.
Tumblr media
Planable
Pros
Aesthetic layout
Customizable font
Group editing
Tagging system
Cloud storage
Cons
Limit of 50 articles for free
You must sign up as a "company" (I say coven!)
Mobile app does not allow note editing
Planable was originally designed for planning professional social media posts. However, it's also fantastic for keeping long-form notes. It has all the writing tools you could possibly need for making in-depth articles, plotting out the content of your grimoire, and hosting live study groups. It can handle any multimedia you throw at it. It also has an app in beta for viewing your notes on the fly.
Great for witches who love hoarding all their knowledge in one cozy spot.
Tumblr media
Google Keep
Pros
Customizable note backgrounds
Voice memos
Drawings
Tagging system
Cloud storage
Cons
Only has basic font customization
Images only (no video compatibility)
It's short; it's sweet. Google Keep (or simply Keep) is an ad-free notes app that gets down to the nitty-gritty. It's best for lists, checkboxes, short-form notes, and posting pretty pictures all in between.
Tumblr media
Finch
Pros
Cute and easy app design
Turns goals into a game
Guided meditiation
Daily affirmations
Recieve uplifting messages from friends
Cons
Requires a healthy/newer phone to run
Only available on Google Play Store
Finch is charming, useful, and an anchor all bundled into one. Aimed for self-care, this app is no standard pet simulator. Your finch brings genuine companionship from a place of love, sending you affirmations, inspiring quotes, and offering compassion in hard times. You raise your finch by setting and completing goals for yourself, whether it be for self-care, everyday tasks, magick, or all three. The app also offers guided meditation, emergency panic/anxiety attack regulation, journaling, motivation check-ins, and other various emotional wellbeing activities.
The best way to do magick is with a clear and calm mind. Finch is perfect for facilitating this!
Tumblr media
Live Transcribe
Pros
Minimalistic
Instant loading time
Transcribes in multiple languages at once
Offline usage
Cons
May occasionally mishear you
Doesn't shy away from transcribing vulgar language
If the app is closed, you will lose your previous transcription unless history is turned on
Turn it on and let it work! Live Transcribe takes verbage and turns it into a live and fairly accurate transcript for you to format into notes. I personally love finding short video documentaries on history and witchy how-tos to transcribe.
Great for learning and retaining verbal information for witches who may have an audio processing disorder. It's also good for the humble act of hoarding knowledge.
I hope that you find good use out of these digital tools! Have a lovely rest of your week, and enjoy a breath of fresh organization. 🌿✨️

I was wondering if you had advice on how to communicate when we have aphantasia? I know we have an inner world but most of us can't see it or hear anything in our head except for the person directly in front, occassionally we can hear one anotherz but very rarely, and we really struggle to communicate or remember much at all (we do generally have shared memory for certain things but things still slip through the cracks)? I don't know how to communicate when we can't see or hear each other, it makes me feel like obviously I can't be a system if I can't even see or hear them or communicate
Hi! So people with aphantasia can absolutely still be systems. You don’t have to see or hear them inside to know they’re there!
For you, we think that external communication is going to be your best bet for getting in touch with each other. We’ll go ahead and link our post on establishing contact with headmates (which may help!) and we’ll reiterate some ways you can attempt communicating externally with your system. None of these methods have to involve vivid thoughts or internal communication!
1) Written notes
Writing to other headmates in a journal, document, notebook, or note app can be an extremely effective form of communication. You can ask your headmates questions, leave them drawings, notes, or reminders, or just let them know you care about them! You can try to leave your notes or journal in an obvious place, or put sticky notes around to remind the current fronter to check your journal/document/etc to keep up with communication!
2) PluralKit
With PluralKit on Discord, you can set up your own server and then create separate “accounts” that function as bots when you post. In this way, you can attribute a separate profile and icon to different headmates and allow them to communicate with each other in your own server! PluralKit truly is an amazing resource for systems, and you can learn more about implementing it for yourself by clicking here (external link goes to PluralKit.me)
3) Simply Plural
Simply Plurak is an amazing app available on both iOS and Android designed by plurals for plurals! It allows you to record your fronting history, set up headmate profiles and a system map, and communicate with each other via chat! If everyone in the system can get on board with it, it could be a great way to figure out who has fronted in the past and to leave messages for each other.
4) Videos, recordings, and voice memos
We don’t really do this, but we’ve heard of other systems who do! You can use a voice recording app or the camera on your device to record spoken messages for each other. You can make little videos, or even use sound design apps to make songs for each other!
5) Other people
Finally, if there are others in your life who know about your system, maybe you can ask them to help pass messages along. Our wife and our therapist have been amazing at helping the alters in our system communicate with each other. If one alter tells someone something important, that person can tell another alter later! Asking other people to help us stay in touch with each other has been immensely beneficial for our system. However, we only do this with folks we trust 100%. You shouldn’t be vulnerable and rely on others for help if you don’t trust them, they’ve hurt you in the past, or your headmates are uncomfortable around them!
Sorry this is long winded, but we hope it can help! We promise that you absolutely still can be a system or plural even with aphantasia. It may take some extra work or a bit of creativity to set up a good system of communication, but it definitely is possible! Good luck with everything - we believe in you and are wishing you the very best!

YHKBOOK WEEK 1 - ROUNDUP
Hello everyone! Since different things get posted between Twitter and Tumblr, we decided it would be a good idea to compile roundup posts covering the events of each week.
See below the cut for answers to questions, posted contributor previews, and open international Group Orders!
This post covers April 02 - April 09.
✒️ Q&A
We have a thread on our Twitter containing all answers to questions we receive. Here are the questions we answered from April 02 - April 04:
How many pages does the physical book have? I'm trying to approximate shipping costs (within US), haha [link]
Currently the fanbook is estimated to have around 80 pages, but the exact number may change. When ordering from our shop the cost of shipping will automatically be calculated based on the selected bundle size and your address.
All bundles are not limited right? [link]
All bundles offered are available for purchase with no limit during the pre-order period (April 2nd - May 7th, 11:59 PM EST). If you're placing your order via a Group Order, make sure to check your GO's order deadline as it will be earlier than May 7th.
hi, im interested in getting the fable bundle or the revision (physical book only) but was wondering if there's any possible way of getting the tote bag separately? i don't really think i can afford the full bundle just so i can get the tote bag 😞😞😞 [link]
Hello! There may be a chance at a later date during our leftover sales period (exact date TBD), as we will be offering leftover items for purchase a la carte. However, this isn't something we can guarantee as the item stocks for leftover sales will be determined by how many extras of each item we have after the shipping period. The tote bag will also ONLY be produced if we reach our 150 orders goal, and is not a guarantee.
Do you know if shipping will occur early august of late august? I will be moving around in september so I have to decide what address I should put in [link]
We will most likely start shipping closer to late August. We will send out e-mails before bundles are ready to ship so that any address changes can be made.
If I join a GO, would I and other people in the GO still individually get the bonuses from the stretch goals? [link]
Every bundle purchased through a GO will receive the same benefits a bundle purchased through the shop would.
Im new to zines why does the money go to mod Pepper first and not mod Tange the finance n production mod? [link]
Hello anon! Payments made by purchasing the fanbook automatically go into a separate account used to fund the production of the fanbook, and do not go to any one specific person. As mod Tange handles finance and production they will be the person primarily tracking payments, but all mods have access to the account.
how many pages will the memo pad be? [link]
The memo pad will be 50 pages and have an adhesive strip on the back of each page (like a sticky-note pad).
is it possible to mix and match parts of bundles? or buying individual products outside of bundles? [link]
The only way to purchase items outside of bundle sets would be during leftover sales (exact date TBD) via a la carte listings, but we cannot guarantee we will have leftover stock of every item at the moment.

Ultima Thule, Sethys called it.
That is, in his most recent memo—marred, noted Hawkwind, by a substantial and slightly sticky ring of what had to be coffee or some approximation—the trainee Time Lord practically begged his mentor to come visit Ultima Thule, while failing to explain precisely where, or perhaps more importantly what that was. The term that Sethys employed was so vague as to potentially apply to any number of locations or phenomena within or without the Ethereal Void, and when Hawkwind pressed for further detail, he simply replied, eyes a-shining:
"It's the end of the Universe! And we've set up a café there! So please come and see it when you get a moment!"
Oh, alright. Some enterprising colleagues of Sethys opened a café somewhere in the dregs of the Ethereal Void, stranger things had happened for sure (if anything should know anything about things stranger than the usual, it would be a Time Lord).
But the end...? Really?
Hawkwind doubted that. Remote? Sure. Obscure? No doubt. So far-flung as to be inaccessible via the relatively normal means? Indeed, as he found out for himself when Sethys calculated the coordinates and passed them along in his next memo—this time tinted at a corner as if it'd been dipped into some sort of soup, smelling strongly of the sea.
But describing any portion of the Universe as the end imparts little meaning beyond the strictly semantic. Furthermore, if Sethys meant to imply a geographic or temporal or philosophical quality about this place, surely he knew better than to employ such vague language.
Or so Hawkwind intended to school the lad, up until the moment he actually stepped foot onto the Last Dregs' newly renovated pavilion, as he approached the counter and multitudinous patrons of long forgotten civilizations bustled around him like white dwarfs in an Osterizer. An intimidating fleet of burnished black mechanoids—also of a forgotten civilization, whose name appropriately escaped the Time Lord's memory, Alphastar, something like that—formed much of the regular staff, it seemed. Then, a little rabbit-like creature hustled between one worker and the next, busily relaying directions and supplies—Management.
And then there was Sethys himself, clad in the staff uniform and rather cheerfully, as Hawkwind noticed. That one always seemed happiest serving people—no no, not quite right. Sethys was not servile but he did like to help, whenever, wherever and however he could, even at great risk to his own life and limb and that fresh white blouse he wore beneath his apron.
It was still clean, for the most part, for now. Well, Sethys did say he'd only just started his shift.
He gazed right back at Hawkwind with his keen little eyes. "So! This is the Last Dregs, our little café at the end of the universe. What do you think?" he asked.
"I think..." And then Hawkwind thought, he really thought. "I think there is something distinctly terminal about this place, yes. And this is your Ultima Thule?"
"I suppose, though I didn't come up with the name myself," said Sethys. "It's a little difficult to explain—say, did you try our new Elysian Moss? I think you'll like it!"
"Moss...? And what do you mean, try? As in consume, is it comestible?"
"Uh. This is a café?"
"I know what a café is, Sethys. But how does moss figure into the standard definition?"
"Oh. Elysian Moss is a new beverage we're introducing for the season: Made fresh daily from the bounty of our pelagic cosmos, full of essential minerals and guaranteed safe to consume for most nonmetal-based lifeforms," Sethys informed him with smoothly rehearsed cadence. "The Grebuloffs can't get enough of it. Good thing too, Jammingway made a mistake when they put in the last order for Elysian red algae. Doodled a few extra zeroes here and there on the requisition form—well, you know how it is with zeroes."
Indeed, if anything should know how it is with zeroes, it would be a Time Lord. Hawkwind nodded sagely.
"So we ended up with a veritable dragon's haul of the stuff. Right now our team priority is to find some use for it before it rots," Sethys went on. "Hope springs eternal, right?"
"Your hope seems to spring more eternally than others," said Hawkwind, leering warily at the surrounding structures—at the towering stacks and crumbling walkways, forgotten pavilions, chairs and tables and the ghostly weeds springing through the cracks in the terrazzo, all dusted with fine layers of ash and abandonment, stretching into the distance until finally tumbling out of reach into the glittering void.
He then looked back at Sethys—another ghostly weed springing through a crack in the terrazzo.
"In fact, you seem completely inured to existential despair," he observed, while attempting to brush some mote of something-or-other off the weed's white shoulder.
"Of course I am," returned Sethys. He smiled faintly at the gesture. "I'm a barista at the end of the Universe, I have to be."

STICKERMANCY: AN INTRODUCTION
hello everyone! I am excited to introduce a new form of divination that I randomly came up with! I hope you enjoy it!
i will also make a side blog to share my experiences with this, and i’ll link it in my pinned post!
so, what is stickermancy anyway?
well my friend, you are about to find out! This form of divination is based off of charm casting and tarot, and it’s called stickermancy because you use (you guessed it!) stickers! But you don’t have to use just stickers, as i have used paper ephemera from scrapbooking kits and memo pad sheets as well!
that sounds pretty cool! how did you come up with such a great idea?
well to be honest, It’s just charm casting with stickers and paper. I was researching charm casting, and somehow it got me thinking about the near hundreds of sticker sheets that i had laying around… so I thought, hey! Might as well use these somehow! And BAM! Stickermancy was born! (You can also call it sticker casting if you want, because that was its original name. But i think stickermancy is a cooler name, don’t you think?)
Cool! So how do i start doing this?
well, to do this, you really only need 2 things: paper for sticking, and stickers to put on it! But you don’t necessarily need stickers! Here are some alternatives you can use, on their own or with other materials:
Paper cutouts (magazines, printed photos, etc)
scrapbook ephemera (you can find cool little sets with loads of items on amazon!)
memo pad pages/cute sticky notes (if you don’t really have anything with interesting designs, and just have plain colored items, you can assign color meanings with your intuition! More on meanings below, and I might make a separate post for meanings too.)
so once you gather your supplies, you can decide whether to make meanings as you go along, or just make a list of meanings beforehand, like charm casters do. I personally think making up meanings as you go along makes it more fun, as you can interpret the stickers according to your question and you don’t need to worry about looking for that one specific sticker that you need answers from… plus I have way too many stickers and scrapbook supplies.
so… I’ve gathered my stickers, now what?
Well, now you can ask a question, or use a spread, (like a charm casting sheet or a tarot spread,) and you can even channel this way! When you start, just try to find the first sticker sheet or paper that really catches your eye, then place your favorite sticker on that sheet on your paper! Then, try to find a meaning for the sticker. For example, i’m a reality shifter, so when I channeled my s/o from my desired reality, he greeted me with an orange heart sticker. So here’s what I gathered:
So in my desired reality, my hair is orange, and it’s my favorite color, so the color orange represents me.
and hearts represent love, so that’s pretty obvious.
so he basically said, “hi, it’s you, and I love you!” (But mostly the I love you part, because that’s what the sticker meant. I just added the “hi” because i had just started talking to him.)
so, when making meanings, here’s some tips!:
Use your intuition, and draw from your own experiences! For example, if you have a sticker of a cartoon character, you can base your meaning off of the character’s personality, and if you want, how you feel about the character! I’m gonna use mickey mouse as an example, if you loved watching mickey mouse as a kid, then you can make the meaning something like “being nostalgic” or “listen to your inner child” since mickey mouse has big ears. (I know, i know, that’s a weird comparison, but it works, right?)
use colors! I personally use the colors to represent emotions or areas of life when I don’t channel, and when I channel people from my desired reality, i use colors to represent certain people in that reality!
if in doubt, place another sticker! Use your intuition and place it where you feel is best on the paper. Then, look at where you placed your stickers, how far away they are, etc, and make up a meaning for your new sticker. (Note: if you have multiple sticker sheets, you can switch things up and use different kinds of stickers! If not, you’ll be fine, just use the next sticker you see!)
so there you have it! Like I said before, I’ll make a side blog for this and record my experiences and add more tips there!
Happy sticker placing!

Major Monogram's Job was Not Terrible
Tumblr media
On the rare occasions people found out what Major Monogram did for a living, they often assumed his job was difficult because it must be “like herding cats.” He originally thought this comparison was inadequate, as many of his agents were both more dangerous and more difficult than he imagined cats to be; also, the consequences of failure when herding cats were considerably less. The addition of cat agents began to change his mind, perhaps the simile was more apt than he originally assumed.
Other people flat out belittled both him and his line of work. Why did no one trust him with human agents? That was a common question his doubters asked. Do they clean out their own litter boxes? An equally common question. Some called him Noah or Doctor Dolittle to his face. However, over time, the Major came to realize his “completely unglamorous job working with those stupid animal agents of yours” was both important and surprisingly fun. Perhaps not as fun as being a gymnast, but decidedly fulfilling and enjoyable.
Although he would not readily admit it, Major Monogram knew the turning point in his opinion of the O.W.C.A. was the unexpected result of his attempt to requisition some muscle to work security in the building. Instead of a bodybuilder, a gunslinger, or a martial artist, he found himself working with Carl Karl, the unpaid intern who knew everything about computers and nothing about fighting. Apparently, some of the agents had been complaining about the poor quality of their mission briefings, while others thought their computer system was capable of more than games of Minesweeper and collecting spam e-mails, which resulted in Carl being assigned.
On his first day, Carl cleared the paperjam out of all five of their “broken” printers, changed the ink cartridges in all three of their “worthless” printers, and set up the remaining “working” printer to communicate with all of their computers via Wi-Fi instead of a messy batch of cables. Afterwards, he demonstrated how a camera could be attached to a tripod without the use of duct tape. Within days, he had upgraded the security systems on their computers and read the user’s manual for every piece of equipment they had. Although Monogram thought the kid had no future as any kind of agent, he did recognise the boy had some small skill with technical things. And the Major enjoyed having someone to talk to.
Today, for example, Monogram was drinking coffee, pretending to read repetitive memos, and discussing the difference between a street and a road with Carl.
“Technically, Sir, I think streets are in cities, with buildings on both sides of them, whereas roads are more rural, with businesses or houses on only one side, or the other, or neither.” Karl was sitting nearby at his computer, looking over Dr. Doofenshmirtz’s daily purchases as they talked.
“Nonsense, streets are a specific type of road. All roads are roads. All streets are roads. But not all roads are streets.” The Major tossed his pile of used multicolored sticky notes into the wire trash can beside his desk.
“So you’re willing to admit that streets are only in cities?” Carl opened a new tab on his computer.
“Of course not Carl. Towns and villages also have streets. But all of them are also roads. When they’re being repaired, we call it roadwork, not streetwork.” Sighing, the green clad officer pulled the agency's accounting ledger from his lower left desk drawer.
“Does this ‘all streets are roads’ idea also apply to avenues and boulevards?”
“Uh… Get back to work, Carl.”
“Yes Sir.”
