I’m seeing people pit Lottienat and butcherqueen against each other as ships but I think the existence of both makes it more enjoyable as Nat is to Lottie someone that is trying to steer her away from her wilderness nonsense whereas Shauna is someone that enables her and feeds into her darkest impulses . To me I view Lottie’s relationship with Nat and Shauna as kinda similar to her relationship with the wilderness where she sees it as a God that can keep them safe but also one that wants violence as she bounces between wanting to protect her friends and engage in the “thrill” of hunting them as a sacrifice to it.
