In HP canon transformed werewolves are impervious to Magick but not physical force. You'd think the ministry could have just used pews against the likes of Greyback but apparently they didn't even think of that. Lyall knew so much about werewolves but never thought to keep a pew in his house.

Final Fantasy Stranger of Paradise is what I like to call the peak overly complicated plot with a side dish of: stop trying to retcon stuff to make it deeper or in this case nonsensical.

Why do you want to screw up your first and honestly most perfectly fine game. Plot was simple: Princess gets captured by evil knight, four smucks go to save her, go off to fix the crystals and helps others on the way, fight the four fiends draining the crystals, and uh oh remember the knight? Now he's become the demon Chaos and the last time looped hero smucks got turned into bats now it's up to you to beat Chaos once and for all.

Don't need some explanation for why Garland turned into Chaos, retconning the fiends to be tragic like it's some modern Disney remake, or whatever that plot thing was with the elves. Sweet Raptor Jesus Christ, I fear how they would mess up Final Fantasy 6 with this current track record.

so like. they're stumbling their way through a bunch of could-be-heres before they hit on the correct one.

and what if, the Vacay Resort section was legit hard to find.

like, the entire island chain is still at Vacaytioner scale, right? so even if the search party's idea to eventually look there was right, it could still take a long time to navigate thru the tropical jungle on any individual island, let alone many of them.

have you been keeping up with gavv? because holy hell, i think the beginning arc has been one of the strongest beginnings we've had. so many goddamn emotional moments and crazy good fights
