One of my most favourite scenes of the entire show was Sol and Taesong's moment in the car. Taesong simply and plainly admits he's been having feelings for Sol. They're just there and he doesn't plan to do anything with it, respecting their friendship too much, but it's there. The feelings are there and he simply wants to acknowledge them. It was so mature, so earnest, that it made me love Taesong twice as much. Plus, his admission helped further explain that feelings from a different timeline can and will return.

The slender young female behind the pine counter was already standing still. Watching him. Cassian noticed the scars on her wings first. The careful, brutal scars down the center tendons. Nausea roiled in his gut, even as he offered a smile and strode toward the polished counter. Clipped. She'd been clipped.

Reading Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief

So to start with, I'd like to appreciate that Percy is in a dangerous situation and is losing hope for Grover when the book says

"Then he groaned, 'Food,' and I knew there was hope."

I just love that he takes comfort from Grover saying the word food, and it also gives us an idea of Grover as a character, helping us to begin to see some of his personality through his love for food.

Diff anon but one of my fave things abt Robin is how chill any version is with Such Creatures in general bc the one beach DLC shows Robin is just. Out there. Looking for weird creatures. At one point shows Chrom. Look at this thing I found. And I love when someone can find beauty in stuff most people revile (and there's parallels to main plot in that too, I would say), like it's kinda a beautiful touch.

Yeah exactly Robin is just. So very easygoing with just about every kind of creature out there. They might react with alarm when taken completely off-guard (again, sneaking a frog down their shirt while they're trying to relax is not cool, Lissa), but given the chance, they will go seek out weird critters. They defend the thing they find in the tide pool, admitting that it might not be the cuddliest, but that they still think it's cute. They specifically went back to look at it after catching one glimpse of it. It's one more part of Robin's charm and one more thing to love about them.

One of my favourite questions for figuring out a character’s motivations is which qualities they most fear being assigned to them. Are they afraid (consciously or unconsciously) of being seen as stupid? Ungrateful? Weak? Incompetent? Lazy? Cowardly? Intimidating? Like they actually care? etc.

It’s such a fun way to explore into who they are, why they do what they do, what they don’t do out of fear, and how they might be affected by the events of the story. And I love when characters have negative motivations—trying to avoid something (in this case, being seen a particular way) as much as they’re trying to achieve a goal.
