After devouring last night's overtime fee, you started to prepare some supplies so you could keep them at hand after that you started to check out the new microhematocrit centrifuge you purchased with the company’s card so you could run some anemia tests, you suspected many spider people suffered this condition due to poor nutrition and lack of sleep.

You pulled up some blood tests you had in the fridge and look at the machine in front of you.

After some seconds of thought, you concluded that you didn’t know how to operate this machine, and you didn’t remember your lab testing classes since your specialty didn’t require it much. To your bad luck, your bots that usually took care of this job were busy digitalizing some handwritten patient charts.

You were too occupied trying to figure out how the machine worked that you failed to notice a large figure creeping into the room, you only noticed its presence when you felt its aura tower behind you.

-“Need a hand?”-Questioned a well-known husky voice while he looked down at you.

As you turned around your nose almost met with Miguel’s chest, due to this you quickly inhaled his scent; your nose picked up the same odor from his car mixed with a mint soap. You took a step back to create some personal space but that made your back bump against the lab table, soon your gaze captured Miguel dressed in a black t-shirt that hung tight on his biceps paired with cargo pants the same color. This amazing view made you a little flustered, how were you supposed to act cool when such a handsome man was seducing each one of your senses?

You quickly regained your stance and smirked at him and replied to him in a mocking tone.

-“What do you know about this?”

“-A lot, actually.”- He replied while opening up a hidden lid in the centrifuge before organizing the four blood samples diagonal to each other, as he finished doing this he put the lid back on so he could then move the knobs skillfully which lead to the machine started to work like magic to your eyes.-“what would your patients say if they knew their dear nurse doesn’t know how to operate a simple centrifuge. To save you the embarrassment I’ll keep quiet, it’ll be our little secret.”

You looked back at Miguel who was grinning like that was the best comeback of the century, unbeknownst to you his smile was partially because he could help you out to compensate for last night's care.

You decided to continue playing along with his game.

-“Didn’t know they taught how to operate lab machines at spider camp.”

-“I might have to report you to HR for belittling me, lll let you know that I used to work as a Geneticist; so give me some credit .”

-“Wait we have Hr?”-You questioned.

Soon Miguel’s face returned to the serious Expression you were used to.

-“I need you to remove my splint, there’s probably going to be some anomalies that need my attention today and the foil from the splint is messing up some features from My suit.”

Your heart sank a little when you noticed he didn’t come to visit you, he came only to be able to exercise his duty without any impediments even if it meant tossing your advice to the side.

-“I am not gonna do that Miguel, you may ask another healthcare provider to do it for you but I don’t want anything that could happen to you to be on my conscience.”-You calmly said in a monotone voice.

Miguel took a step back and crossed his arms while tilting his head to the side, “No” was a word that he was not used to hearing; he hoped you ignored his blank stare while he figure out how to erase that god-awful word from your vocabulary.

-“No…?”

-“No.”

-“Why not, it’s not like it’s your business anyway.”- He coldly argued.

You turned your neck in a snap in reaction to the return of his rude attitude, you glared at him in disbelief. You thought you were starting to get close but you quickly realized that Miguel was not a man of friends.

-“I’m not even gonna waste my breath answering that. Please leave my infirmary If that’s all you’re gonna request.”

-“You really think it’s that easy to get rid of me?”

Before you almost opened your mouth to start a quarrel Peter Parker walked in a hurry with mayday climbing on his head.

-“Hey Buddy! Why aren’t you answering your watch, Jessica needs some help on Earth 9214. Some sort of jumbo octopus.”

Miguel proceeded to scrunch his nose in confusion.

-“That's strange it didn’t beep at all, I guess you’ll have to lend me your mask cause someone’s being a brat and won’t let me do my job.”

Peter looked at him with a microscopic smile.

Miguel’s watch didn’t respond , it acted like it had been frozen, Miguel called Lyla through Peter’s watch to get to the bottom of this accident, the strawberry blonder eccentrically explained that watches with too much use have a chance of malfunctioning when not properly being able to download a new upgrade, hence the reason of this shut down of communications of other feature.

-“Oh no, what should we do now?”- cried out Peter in fake agony.

-“Are you a witch or something? I bet you have something to do with this.”-Murmured Miguel while he glared at you; trying to work his gadget you resigned to giving him the ugliest stare possible.

Lyla gave him a side eye, artificially nervous that he may catch onto them and make her dress in a hideous uniform, so she decided to meddle in the argument a bit before he realizes she froze his watches because Peter convinced her that if he got a break he would stop being such a pain in the ass.

-“Well I guess it can’t be helped! Guess I gotta go, keep an eye on Mayday will ya.”- Peter threw the baby at Miguel with full certainty that he would catch her then Peter disappeared with Lyla in a blink of a portal.

You looked over at the pink-cheeked baby with hair as fiery as her personality, the little girl traced Miguel's cheekbones while poking his nostril and some other random parts of his face which made your heart soften.

-“If you want you can leave her with me, you don’t look like a kid's kinda guy.”-you murmured this out not forgetting how rude he was to you earlier.

-“That kinda guy or not, you shouldn’t betray a parent's trust if they leave you in care of their most prized being, so you best believe I’m not letting her out of my sight until he gets back.”-He responded while fixing the collar on maydays shirt.

After three hours of heavy-duty child care you and Miguel left your differences behind, it was time for Mayday’s mid-day nap but she wouldn’t sleep even tho she wouldn’t stop yawning and rubbing her eyes.

-“If we don’t get her to bed in half an hour, she’s gonna be an inconsolable cranky mess by the looks of it.”- You warned.

—“Let's turn the lights off, maybe that’ll make her sleepy.”

As soon as the lights came off Miguel positioned Mayday's head on her should while he slowly patted her back, his mouth let out a song made out of soft sh shhhh.

You felt bad for misjudging him earlier, you finally accepted that he was a man of responsibility but he didn’t acknowledge that stampeding over anyone to fulfill his duty was truly not the best option. outlines. i mentioned this in my previous ask, because it literally is the first thing that i do. as soon as I think of an idea, a person, a scene anything, I write it down. whether that be in your notes app (which I prefer to use) or a notebook, w r i t e it d o w n. this is the best way to truly craft and add onto those ideas as well as plan out your series, story, whatever. with that, I also really like the flexibility it allows when you want to change something or allow other thoughts to appear.

when it comes to fanfiction specifically, it helps me a lot to research the world I am trying to contextualize, whether that be watching scenes, googling, or scrolling through interests -- all of these allow me to get into the right mindset when writing as well as helping if I feel stuck.

as of lately, what I have relied on so much is pinterest. I know it's not exactly for everyone, but I have absolutely loved it so much. I will usually create private boards for short stories or even the books I have written, allowing myself a place to really go and identify the main vibes or feelings I want to convey. it provides motivation when I am maybe not feeling inclined to write, as well as another resource to use to organize my thoughts and intentions.

-And he usually clears out his schedule and tell the others before hand, so the others won't bother him and his S/O nor will his work get in the way

-But if Russel forgets something every once in a while cut this poor boi some slack he has a lot on his plate

-And due to his work or just him not haveing the energy to go out- anniversarys are often more chill, less fancy

-But they are more sentimental as Rus is just that kind of person, he values memories and all that sappy crap despite him not showing it often

-All of this applies to all phases but phase 7 Russel, because he becomes to atched to that TV and the idea of the promise land that he neglects his relationship with his S/O a loooot.... he doesn't even mean to do it on purpose half the time

Noodle

-It's complicated ok...

-Noodle has an impeccable memory, but if she gets distracted by somthing- it's easy for things to slip her mind

-Noodle is the kind of person to have a anniversary for everything

-And she tries to remember them and did the first couple of times

-But over time she just forgets

-Also older Noodle(phase 7) doesn't try to remember the other anniversaries anymore, just the main one, lifes just too all over the place for that

-But when she was a young adult she was all over that shit

-But much like Russel, work and the others in the band can get in the way

-So she does tend to start preparations/plans for it but gets wraped up in something else

-And from there its a 25% - 75% chance of remembering, and the percentage in which she remembers and forgets switchs almost every time

-If/When she forgets, and when she eventually remembers the anniversary she gets very disappointed in herself

-But you two still enjoy a lovely together- because Noodle is a queen who knows how to organize the best dates

-But if its not a anniversary or something relevant to her- she will most likely forget them-

Murdoc

-In earlier phases Murdoc just drank way to much to remember and really didn't care for sentimental things he just wasn't raised like that

-And if you don't say anything, he'll just go about his day like any other till Noodle says "Hey- Murdoc I'm surprised to see you still in the house... considering its yours and S/O's anniversary"... he spat out his his drink so fast he almost choked as he yells "FUCK" poor 2D was started so bad

-He ran to his S/O so fast

-If his S/O is fine with him forgetting or his S/O forgot too- he'll sigh in relief- and you two decide to just chill in Murdoc's love shack on wheels Winnebago and chill cuddle with each other and watch movies

-Buuuuut if his S/O is genuinely not happy Murdoc will get pissy for a while then start drinking- because he can't stand when his S/O is genuinely upset with him- then he druckenly begs for forgiveness

-And he may even try and gaslight his S/O saying it's all their fault- and he's innocent because his S/O didn't tell him or remind him(even if they did remind him a coupleof days prior) , so it's all on them- but if that hurts his S/O, he just kind walks away hoping it will all go away

-And if you sit him down and tell Murdoc that he upset you but still love him it's really awkward... then the night can go on relatively well

-But if not ah... it will either lead to a fight or you two pretend it didn't happen

-In later phases and earlier in the relationship he'll forget because he's not as invested in that kind of stuff

-But the longer he's with his S/O the more he is likely to remember AKA he gets a alarm or something to remind him

-He can do something fancy- but he's not gonna have any manners so its best if you stick to something simple

-Murdoc always remembered his and his S/O's anniversary when he was on plastic beach, and would even talk/mention it on pirate radio

-But he is also very determined

-Though before the couple of days before the anniversary he smokes more because he's anxious he's gonna forget

-And the day of and a few day's after the anniversary he smokes more due to his feeling like shit for forgetting

-He's also upset because he had a whole day pland and now his plans ruined because he only remembered/got reminded of the anniversary half way through the day

-He's not as determined as he is with anniversaries but he tries his best

The second commission was * help flora gather flowers* not to hard as you interact quite better with children, the third commission was easy as well you just had to cook mondstat food-.

Before you could finish your inner monologue someone bumped into you, you looked up and saw 3 guys looking at you "oh? And whats a cutie like you doing walking around by yourself?" Xiao questioned as he was you lightly rubbing your wrist "i'm okay, the only grabbed my wrist, other then that i'm okay'' you answered "let's go back, it's dangerous out here at night" he proposed "but.. my commis-" you were cut off when you both teleported back to your room at wangshu inn "just finish your commission tomorrow....I'll help you with it" xiao insisted, he had his back turned to you but you could slightly see a faint hue of red on his cheeks "really? I'm glad your coming with me xiao" you agreed on his idea "...you should rest now, it's almost midnight, mortals should sleep by now" xiao turned to you but had his head slightly turned

You slowly laid down on your mattress. You feel as your as getting more and more heavy. "Xiao, will you stay here for a beit longer?" You whispered, you didn't hear his response as you fell asleep.

In hopes of keeping things fresh and different, I'll be tackling a few writing projects this year.

h e l l s i n g //

For better of for worse, Hellsing (specifically Hellsing Ultimate) has always been my biggest guilty pleasure and I don't think that's going to change anytime soon. As such, I will still be making content for it. I'm especially interested in exploring the (mostly platonic) relationship dynamics in the Hellsing Organization, such as Integra's relationship with her staff and soldiers, that we don't get to see very often.

I'm also interested in exploring Alucard's newfound powers that he unwillingly received from Schrödinger. I don't typically see a lot of people theorizing how it effects him upon his return or how he navigates it, so this will be something I'll be exploring in Plutonian Sun and possibly in shorter writing pieces.

Speaking of the long fic, I am still plotting and writing it, chapter by chapter. I'm not fast at uploading by any means, but I still intend on continuing it. I know it's not everyone's favorite since it doesn't feature any of the most prominent fanon ships and includes original characters, but I am writing for a more specific audience, anyway. I always appreciate it very much whenever someone leaves a comment of a kudos—it helps me know that maybe I'm doing something right!

Probably to come later on in the year, but I am brainstorming a Witcher long fic. Even though I've had thoughts about doing this anyway, I became motivated to put this project to paper after watching Netflix's The Witcher: Blood Origin. I didn't actually watch the whole thing—I could barely stand to sit through a single episode. It's bad. Really bad. And I figured, "well, I can probably do better than this." So here we are.

Once I am done reading my current book, I will be reading The Last Wish, at least for a start. I may also take inspiration from CD Projekt RED's "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt"—I played the full game with DLC a few years ago. Unfortunately, with how old my laptop is getting, the new gen update has made playing "The Witcher 3" less possible, though not impossible.

Though the story will include many well-loved (and hated) characters from the books, the main protagonists (Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri) will not be present for at least the majority of it. In order to usher the forth a new perspective, I will be making original characters of my own. Such characters include: — an old bruxa who makes a living as an alchemist in Toussaint — a good-natured halfling who's prone to bar fights and loves to cook — a soldier-turned-merchant from Ofir with "extraordinary" luck . . . and likely many more.

I'm still trying to think of a good title, but once I figure that out and the general theme/plot for the fic, I will start giving updates on its progress.

I've seen the first season of Interview With The Vampire on AMC+ and I absolutely love it. Admittedly I've never read any of Anne Rice's books, but that may change some time in the foreseeable future. For now though, my interpretations and works will be influenced by the AMC+ series. Stories will include the exploration of Louis, Lestat, Claudia, and Armand's personalities/relationships and possibly their pasts. There will especially be an emphasis on how delightfully toxic these blood suckers are to each other.

I've briefly mentioned this a while ago, but I've been thinking about making a fic with a male reader/character who meets Count Dracula (or "Mr. De Ville") shortly after he reaches England. Though Van Helsing and the others likely won't be present in this work, perhaps I will include other side characters from Dracula. I may even have Djamilah (or Ibrahima at that time) make a short cameo. A self-indulgence, if you will.

If anything comes up or there are any changes, I'll be sure to make an announcement. Until then, this is what I have on the roster for this year.

Hmm… My love language is quality time, I think. Just… spending time with Spike is what I want. I like being with him, communicating about fun things and serious things, I like making memories with him and planning fun date nights hehe. Depending how much money Spike has hehe it's some sort of mix between acts of service and gift giving. It's funny, because I know if it wasn't for me, he would live in an absolute mess of a house. I am organized, and clean up, and cook, but it's like since I do it and want it to be done he'll just… do it, without even being asked. And it's extra special because I know he doesn't mind the mess and he's just being a sweetie and helping out. He's so sweet like… I'm not a material person but some things I just really love and he loves treating me to those things. I'm a big fan of soft toys and he's given me so many of them over the years, particularly if I'm having a hard day he'll stop by the op shop on his way home and surprise me with something else to cuddle. Even little things, like, if we're going on a walk together and he sees some lavender flowers in the wild (or on someone's front lawn, shh, I don't condone his behavior) he'll grab some and give them to me…

Hmm… Christmas :) I love forming traditions and doing all sorts of fun stuff and cuddling and cooking and GIFT GIVING ugh wonderful. Also Halloween is an absolute blast. Spike would say his favorite is Halloween, but he's lying, his favorite is also Christmas :)

Yep :) Sunny the black cat and Basil the ginger cat. Also, we kind of co-own Ein, the corgi, although he generally stays with Jet.

I'm a goddamn broken record but we can't ignore the truth. Spike perpetually smells like cigarettes but in like a good way :P Shaving cream. That one cologne smell. I'm sorry I'm awful at describing scents so in my head it's just like "yes that one" whereas you know, most people dunno what I'm talking about :D He probably associates lavender with me, just because it's kind of become one of those Things about me.

🌟 [STAR]- How do you and your F/O prepare for bedtime? Do you stay up watching TV until you fall asleep? Do you cuddle endlessly? Etc

Generally, we'll do something together, like watch TV, or maybe just lie on the couch together doing our own activities… we get ready for bed together, and we climb on in and snuggle while talking about our days or just absolute random nonsense hehe. Cats generally included in the snuggling, much to Spike's apparent dismay (he secretly loves it - if the cats aren't snuggling up to each other, Sunny is on Spike's chest, and Basil is anywhere on my side of the bed hehe)

🍃 [LEAVES]- What’s your favorite season to go on walks with your F/O? Why?

I think this is biased because I'm from Australia but Winter/Autumn because it's impossible for me to go on walks in Summer hehe. If we lived anywhere else it would probably be Autumn still.

👖 [JEANS]- Do you ever wear your F/O’s clothes? How does it feel when you do, and have they caught you doing it before?

C o n s t a n t l y. I love his style, I love how he smells, and I love just pulling out clothes from his side of the wardrobe and just… wearing them. It feels like a very intimate act, to be so close to someone that you can do that with them. The clothes are often too big, unfortunately, and also he has a lot of button up shirts, so it's funny wearing around the house but I always do. I'll often steal a jacket to wear outside in the colder months, though. They all remain his clothes and what I steal is random and unpredictable. He always says something like "You know that's my shirt, right?" and walks up to me and grabs the ends of my fingers that are barely visible due to the size of the long sleeved shirt, "We're going to have to go shopping," he says, laughing softly at my blushing, "people are gonna think we're broke!" Before enveloping me in a big hug and whispering, "you look great."

👾 [SPACE INVADERS]- Do you play games with your F/O (board games, video games, other games)? If so, what do you play, and how do those playing sessions go?

I'm a big fan of any kind of game. If it's a board game, weirdly, it gets a lot more competitive… but all in good fun. Video games… If it's some sort of co-op campaign, like, Halo or Portal 2 or something then we both get too distracted doing stupid stuff - shooting at eachother and being terrors - then actually playing the game. If it's something like Mario kart, once again, absurd levels of competition. If it's something like Animal Crossing, or Stardew Valley, I have a very particular vision, and Spike sees that vision, and decides to do everything in his power to make it difficult for me to plan it perfectly. I don't play that many fighting games, but there's this joke I saw on a game grumps episode when Dan kept saying to Arin, "come over here, I have to show you something," only to just attack Arin's character and he kept doing it and Arin was like "I'm not coming over again!" only for it to happen again. Yeah. That.

Oh so many things. Blanket fort. Indoor picnic. Cuddling up with a book. Cuddling up with a book + Basil + Sunny. Cooking cupcakes. I draw him. He draws me (and fails, but cute). Playing outside! It's short because if I kept going it would turn into another fanfiction hehe.

I can n o t explain how much I love the concept of this blog!! Anyway: Hi! I'd like a match-up, if you have the time and energy? I'm a nonbinary person, she/them pronouns, and bisexual. I love to learn, but mainly by researching and writing as I have trouble staying focussed when reading for a long time, and I love creative activities like drawing, acting and baking! Anything I can put my creativity into is something I'm automatically interested in. I tend to be very emotional too, but I try to work on that. But despite my passions and heavy emotions, I am serious when I need to be and will never fail to try and exceed expectations. Why be satisfied with an A when I could get an A+, right? Fenn found you tangled in a bush and after some far-from-favourable first impressions, you were enrolled in the academy as an exchange student for your own safety. You had zero experience with magic but after the many L's you've taken (and the ignorant comments from your classmates), you didn't give up. Toa, with his Kingcraft exam coming soon had to bump a student's rank up to pass, so he volunteered to tutor you.

The fact that Toa volunteered to tutor you angered his fan club, so they decided to harass you. You gave yourself a mental pat on the back for keeping your composure as they tried to tear into you. Luckily for you, A woman clad in pink and yellow, whose name you learned was Sherry, came to your aid. After a few interactions, the two of you became fast friends.

Your relationship with Toa was also becoming more intimate, at least as a teacher and student. He's supportive of your intellectual pursuits and the fact that you're so motivated makes him feel a lot better about his upcoming exam. Needless to say, you were able to pull off a few basic spells with his help. After a long day of learning magic, the both of you were as worn out as you were satisfied. all of my bottles were slightly different. and the water felt different. i had an exquisite shower. and i didn't wash the pink off until after i shaved and exfoliated and washed my face and sighed and thought about why life is pain. i realized the shower was getting a little pinker and i ignored it. and duringthepart when i was fucking grabbing my shampoo, i noticed the shampoo i always keep in the corner because i only use it to wash my bangs and i did the day i left only. S showered after me and cleaned my bathroom once but it all got fucked because we had a party and got drunk and had a 9/11 in there so it was all cleaned while being an ineberiated vessel. L also is at my place a lot and she likes to clean.

so come forward. that is the fucking most beautiful thing and i literally can't explain to you how insane that is and i love you. but also if there was maybe someone in my apartment bc i actually had left a door open or someone did and i didnt notice? this is deflection i need to shut UP THATS FOR LATER FOR YOU

why did you rearrange all of my bottles when you knew iwouldn't see. i had a fucking social battery 9/11 that i needed to recover from like i needed to shower. you know i like being alone and that the shower is intimate. IT WAS HIDDDDDEEN.

it was really cute and i love you and i need to know who you are. like i cried my eyes out. it meant the world to me to see that. because its such a big message to do that to someone, and you know i personally wouldn't mind that in my shower. you know you're so fucking welcome to do that and theres ONLY TWO OF YOUS!!!!!
