Spotted begonias seemed to love me- er um- the light in our house. I’m slowly finding the best corners for the best leaves and then finding ways to make them look intentional there. Im liking for a vintage still for my ZZ plant at the top of the stairs, and if you know of a local place w vintage garden stuff let me know! Five Minutes

A/N: Lowkey written very quickly and badly, BUT this is a first attempt and very very cliche. pls be gentle with me on this one 😭

also the formatting? ew. anyway….

Early morning was a different part of the day to everyone. Those productive, do-it-all types never failed to take advantage of it, finishing all their emails and paperwork before lunch time. There were also those who refused to move their body until at least 1pm. You had always been somewhere in the middle. Would you run a mile first thing in the morning? No chance, but you always loved the golden hue the Sunday morning sun sent through your window.

Your eyes slowly opened, still stiff from the late Saturday evening you had spent watching hallmark films with Harry the night before. He was always persistent that they were terribly made, but once they were over he seemed to have 3 more lined up that he wanted to watch. 

You scanned the room, silent with an early morning lull. The window was opened just a little, the curtains slightly parted, letting that glowing sunshine through. Next to you, Harry lay on his side, his face covered ¾ by the covers of the bed; His mop of hair and the small mole on his forehead were just barely visible from the outside. You brushed a thumb over the top of his head, moving a few of the sun bleached curls (from months lying out in Italy no doubt) off of his forehead.

“I’m not asleep,” He muttered from beneath the blanket, still unmoving. You dropped your jaw teasingly, pulling the cover down to reveal Harry, eyes closed but smiling deviously. 

“You should’ve woken me up!” You protested, beginning to get up and start the day. 

“Oh yeah, that’s a great plan, remind me again how much you just love getting woken up on weekends?” He laughed as you jokingly tossed a cushion from your side of the bed at him. He neatly tucked it away back where you were laying before. 

“Teamwork,” he said proudly. You rolled your eyes and walked round to his side. You reached out a hand for him to take, 

“Coffee?” you suggested. He wrapped a hand around yours and lightly pulled you back onto the mattress, spooning you into him. He put both his arms around your waist and brought you closer. 

“Five minutes.”
