HI sorry for the wait sweetie!!! let's go over the basics!

youtube guides can be confusing. i did start off with one of those (specifically a guide to build xiao, before he was out bc i wanted to pre-farm), and ngl i had to research about half the thing the op said bc i was extremely Lost at that point (to the point where my artifacts didn't make fucking sense JKDDSKJ)

so!

depending on the character, you'll want different stats on either your artifacts and your weapon. you have several types of focus, depending on the character's role!

burst dps will want energy recharge, and either the noblesse oblige set or the emblem of severed fate set. but first, you need to know that sets have a 2p effect and a 4p effect. for example, 2p of noblesse oblige increase the character's burst dmg by 20%, while 4p increase your entire party's attack by 20% for a short period of time. you'll find the set's effects on the set's description, be it on the artifact menu when you select one of those or in the domain (once again, when you select one).

for a more thorough artifact guide, allow me to redirect you to that post i made a few months ago, in which i go deeper into the artifact system.

to define what set and what stats your character needs, you'll need to take into account their vision, scaling, ascension stat bonus and passives (you'll find the passives on the talents menu). let's take an easy example: xiao!

xiao's vision is anemo, he scales off atk, has a crit rate bonus when you ascend him and his passives boost his dmg. which means that your focus will be on anemo dmg bonus, atk and crit. he's what i like to call an elemental main dps, as opposed to a physical main dps. however, do note that you can build a physical dps regardless, lots of people like to build kaeya as a physical dps!

quick note, just in case: what we call "scaling" is how the skill and ult dmg are increased. for example, kokomi's ult has a bonus based on her max hp, and noelle's ult has a bonus based on her defense. not all characters scale off atk, even main dps! you can find the scale on the talent menu, if it says "xx% def/hp/etc" then it's that, if it says nothing then it's atk. xiao entirely scales off his atk!

and to add on to that: split scaling. split scaling is when a character's skill scales off a stat, but the ult scales off another. for example, albedo's skill scales off defense, but his ult scales off atk, except if you have him c2. in the same way, kokomi's skill scales off atk, but her ult scales off hp. it forces the player to focus on multiple stats, or to neglect either the skill or the ult to maximise the other one's capacity. you can compensate this with using a particular set but with different stats. for example, my albedo has a gladiator set for his ult dmg, but his sand is on def% for his skill dmg. tho it'll all change once i get a hang of the 2.3 set lmao

as for the talent books, you'll need to check them in the talent menu; just like the weapon refinement materials, they rotate each day and are all available on sunday. you'll need lots of them and lots of moras to lvl up the talents, but it's really worth it! however, level them up wisely. while a main dps usually requires all 3 talents maxed out (unless it's physical ig, but it's still preferable), a support or a sub/burst dps won't usually need their normal atk maxed out. you can do it of course, it's just gonna cost you a lot more. i tend to lv my sub dps NA to lv 6, mostly when im bored/realize i have the materials, but it's really not needed.

to get the most out of a character, you'll typically need to look into their talents, not only to lvl them up but to grasp the character's needs in terms of sets, stats and also weapons. however if you're overwhelmed by it, you can also simply type "[character] build" on google image and check gobelyn's builds, from my experience they're usually very good, and easy to understand! they give weapon options, several sets that could work and the associated stats on each artifacts.

if you want more specific help too, i would gladly dive into a specific character's build! i did that for baal and kazuha, and it's becoming kind of a series of sorts, although im procrastinating bennett's build like hell dkjsdn

After some minutes of walking, you finally reached home. "I'm back!" you yelled as you opened the door to your house. "Do you know what time is it?" your brother, Heesung asked sarcastically. "Ummm it's 10 am, don't you have eyes to see the time? I have to sleep now bye" you quickly went to your room before Heesung could nag at you. You quickly brushed your teeth, changed into your pajamas and plopped yourself on your bed.

"What now?!?" you groaned as you heard a notification on your phone. You grabbed your phone angrily and looked at the notification, it was Wonyoung your friend.

Led Zeppelin is a band apparently. It's just a bunch of horny mother fuckers put together to make songs about sex. John Paul Jones was laying in bed with Robert Plant which he has no idea how that happened. He hoped nothing weird went down between them cause Jimmy Page would be so mad. oh jesus oh god you do not want to make that mother fucker mad. He'll literally turn you into a cheeseball and eat you. John got out of bed only to see that John Bonham was standing in the corner eating swedish fish gummies. He was not going to question it.

"Want some?" Bonzo asked him and he held one in his hand.

"I don't know you what the fuck!?" Jonesy yelled. He went to the baffroom and spotted jimmy trying to swim inside of the toilet. He believed he could do it if he tried hard enough.

"the oil supply demand is sky rocketing these days!" jimmy yelled as he got out of the toilet.

"Bitch do not touch me with your boo boo water," He warned him as he grabbed a toothbrush to use as a weapon. He learned how to make a knife with it in jail.

"Penis guitar playing is totes fun jonesy, you should try it," jimmie added. Oh mother fucker he is a heterosexual lad. Or that is what he said the other day when he ate some of robert's caramel popcorn. man he wondered how he even ended up in that stupid band. who's led and why does he have a zeppelin? you know some guy named their kid zeppelin but he claims that he didn't name him after the band. wait what were we talking about?

The band all decided to head to mcdonalds to eat happy meals. jimmy tickles.

"Guys! oh my god you will not believe it but britney is such a slut! ugh! can't believe she left me for a fish lookin' mother fucker-"

"No one gives a rats ass about your weird horny ass!" jimmy cut him off by yelling at robert. God damn that shithead has a huge ego but a small dick. Jonesy never understood why people liked him so much. He once stole his favorite pair of jojo siwa socks and claimed he never knew he owned any.

"You motherfuckers we're supposed to be going on tour!" Bonzo yelled as he swooped the food off the table.

"suck my asshole bonzo!" jim yelled.

"calm down pagey, he's just a meanie," robert added as he patted his head.

"y'all need to start realizing that no one likes you both!" jonesy snapped.

"shut up you're literally ugly and small and the bassist of led zeppelin and you look like heman with that stupid haircut of yours" Bonzo said as he ate jonesys burgers. damn that hurt.

"You know," jonesy began, "i don't need this job"

"what job?" robeet askes.

"shhhhh let the weirdo speak," jimmy said as he stuck his finger into his mouth.

"without me you will all suck asshole and no one will actually like led zeppelin," he explained.

the three slowly looked at each other and began to laugh their asses off at him.

"You act like you matter so much," robert added.

"shut up cheese cream! you're literally big and ugly and you look like you are 50 years old!" bonzo said as he drank his milk. that was funny. Jonesy felt his blood boil and grabbed his happy meal and stormed out.

It was the day of their shit concert. led zeppelin were backstage preparing to cause a dismother and set things on fire. preferably roberts underwear that pretty much doesn't exist in this case. the band stepped on stage and the crowd went wild.

"hello bananas-" That motherfucker fell forward into the drum set. oopsies. jimmy ran to him to make sure his hoe isn't dead or alive. fucking bon jovi.

"oh shit! robert plant is down!" he yelled. jonesy was absolutely done with them. they are nothing but a bunch of dumb fucks who ruin everything. He took out his laser penis and shot jimmy and robert to death.

"oh Motherfucker has a fucking laser pp! hija de su pinche madre!" jimmy yelled as he split in half. robert died again. bonzo just sat there blown away by the fact that that john paul jones just killed the front man and the guitarist of Led Zeppelin in front of millions of people. he was impressed.

"holy shit man you really-"

nope sorry but jonesy shot him too so he died. damn he could've let him live. meanie. oh wait im writing this so i could've.... ah man im too lazy to go back and fix it. too bad we're going with this plot now. Jonesy stepped off the stage and headed to the back.

"god dammit i hate everyone in this bloody world," he said to himself. he decided to hit the pub that was nearby to enjoy himself.

As he was sitting at the counter drinking something that is an alcoholic beverage. he began to spark ideas of what he could possibly do since led zeppelin died. He thought about starting a whole new band but he remembered that what caused him to kill led zeppelin. that was out of the shopping list for walmart. next was to steal money from the bank so he remains rich but he then realized that he is a famous musician and will get recognized quickly. fuck. he then thought of changing his hair to look less like heman cause that insult hurt.

"aha!" he shouted. He finally thought of something that could get him a shit ton of money. He drank the remaining drink from his cup and ran out of the pub.

he put on a thicc line of eyeliner, red lipstick, a black wig, fish nets leggings, high heeled boots, and earrings. oh man this is going to be hella great. His wife walked in to see what the fuck this small ass mothertrucker was up to this time. oh man i shat my pants.

"sweetie what the fuck are you doing!?" she yelled. Jonesy turned to look at her.

"led zeppelin is no more," he responded. She was so confused and wondered how the fuck she even ended up marrying heman. she had no idea what led zeppelin is no more meant and was hella concerned for his health.

"be back in a few days," he added as he broke his ankle trying to exit the house and rolled down the hill. oops it's not up the hill anymore. guess you could really say he went down hill. i hate myself so much. he walked down the sidewalk and ended up in someone's house. Motherfucker it's jimmy page's house. he stole his nice trousers or whatever those were. my teacher walked by as i wrote that btw. turns out they don't fit him cause jimmy is also a big hoe and jonesy isn't. shit. jimmy is embarrassing asf. that was pointless of him stealing so he stole his underwear. wait he wears those? imma look it up hold on. i didn't find anything about that so im just going to assume that he doesnt.

there was a picture of jimmy when he was with the yardbirbs and golly that is one ugly Motherfucker! he stole and stuffed it into his underwear. he got out of the house full of useless shit that he did not need at all. Then he forgot what he was doing. Jonesy continued walking down the street only to break his other ankle and rolled down the steep pathway. damn he's one dumb hoe bitch.

babysitting was a bad idea. he got bitten by a bunch of goblins and gave him rabies. god i hate kids.

"hello motherfucker," jimmy said.

"OH SWEET MOTHER OF GOD DAD SHOES PENIS PLANT! I THOUGHT I KILLED YOU THE OTHER DAY!" Jonesy yelled as he jumped over the couch.

"Nah bitch that was just my twin brother Jamie Patricia Page," He added. "Bitch why are you dressed like a stripper?"

Oh yeah he forgot that was what he was going to do once he killed led zeppelin. he still can but now there's a little bitch with him named james patrick page.

"we should kill robert plant," jimny suggested.

"Bitch i already killed him, you're a little too late you duck whore," he responded.

turns out he didn't actually kill led zeppelin but instead killed their twin brothers.

"You want to overthrow led zeppelin into the trashcan?" Jonesy asked. "Thought that's what you and bert wanted to do...."

"Nah man.... percy is a very stupid penguin and is meanie.... he stole my jojo siwa socks," jimmy explained.

ah damn turns out robert plant is the villain of the story and should be died. he is too powerful. his hair will slice the fuck out of anyone.

"You got a plan?" Jonesy asked.

"i say we steal his pants and burn them and use them as an alternative to oil," he explained. damn science class. then this guy named bonzo showed up and began to beat them with his drum sticks.

"BONZO CALM THE FUCK DOWN! AHHHHHHHHH!!!" james yelled.

"sorry but robert said to beat you both with them!" bonzo yelled back.

jonesy dug through his pants and took out a bunch of swedish fish gummies.

"hey look! fish gummies! come and get it boy!"

"bitch what the fuck I am not some stupid dog for you to be doing that time of shit you small Motherfucker heman lookin hoe short shit," bonzo said.

"GIMME GIMME OH SHIT!" he attacked Jonesy.

jimmy page the god of led zeppelin stood there watching while cheering them on fight fight fight! it got in here so he removed his trousers and threw them at bonzo which ended up knocking him out.

"oh shit! your pants are powerful! we can use it to kill percy!" Jonesy shouted.

"NO! JIMBERT MUST GO CANON!" Jimmy yelled and jumped out the window. all you heard was splash. that motherfucker jumped into the pool and is now wet. that's a disturbing image. Jonesy rolled his eyes and went back to doing whatever the fuck he was doing. it all of a sudden got really bright outside. oh the sun came out cause it was cloudy. but wait! Jonesy looked out the window and spotted robert plant heading towards him.

"IM THE GOLDEN GOD-" that motherfucker fell inside of the pool and sizzled. cual pinche golden god ese no mas anda haciendo puros desmadres y estupideces de mario.

that was the end of led zeppelin.

Hello all! So here we have part 5 of this lil dewey finn x stark!daughter series! i like this chapter better than the last one and it’s kinda sweet so yeah! this chapter is a continuation from the last and finally we get some happiness yeaayy! let me know if it was ok!

The kiss was intense. The kind that leaves you bewildered, forgetting where you are… the only thing you can concentrate on is the rhythmic movement of two. Your hands were in his hair, and his around your waist. What was going on? He tasted like tequila. It tasted good. Familiar almost. But you could tell he was drunk.

You had pulled away from him, lips lingering, ghosting over one another. “I can’t believe I found you” you fluttered. Dewey was less than coherent. He’d had way too much to drink and you tell by the way his eyes were glassy, and lazy. His movements were stumbled, and uncoordinated.

Suddenly Dewey’s hands slowly dropped away from holding you and he stepped back slightly, his eyebrows furrowed, looking at you coldly. “y-you used me” he slurred, the hurt creeping out in his voice, and visible in his expression.  Guilt crept up in you, filling your whole being. “Dewey I’m sorry” you pleaded, but he shook his head, his eyes glistening with threatening tears as he realised who you were. The girl who crushed him. The girl he couldn’t get his mind off of. The girl who broke him. “y-you have no idea w-what you’ve done t-to me” he was crumbling.

You grabbed his hand “Dewey listen I really am sorry- I’ve changed!”. Dewey pulled his hand from yours. “you were like, th-the girl of my dreams. So smr-art, pretty, and this co-ol rock chick- but yo-you used me”. Ouch. That hurt. You could feel embarrassment and shame in the pit of your stomach, your insecurities creeping back up and spinning in your head. Tears threatened to spill. You didn’t need this right now. You were getting better. Trying. But that person was you at one point, you had done that so many times to different boys, but not Dewey. He was different. The only one who was different, and you ruined it. You looked into his eyes, and for a split second he looked back but shifted them to the side, crushed. He was too drunk to understand your apology, and he was too hurt. You know what they say, a drunk mouth speaks a sober mind. He couldn’t even pretend to be ok.

Maybe you should just get him back to his friends and you could phone your dad to pick you up. A tear escaped your eye, and you wiped it away as soon as it spilled “where are your friends Dewey?”. He shrugged, too drunk to know or care. “mm going to get an-nother drink” he stumbled to the bar. You followed him, not wanting him to get left alone. Dewey sniffled. Ordering another three tequila shots. You had no idea who his friends even were, or what they looked like. You lay your elbows on the bar and put your head in your hands, not knowing what to do.

Dewey slammed back another three tequila shots. He was about to order another three when suddenly the lights came on and everyone was being ushered out. Where the hell were your friends never mind Dewey’s? was it really half 3 already? Dewey was stumbling behind you as you were pretty much pushed out the door. Fuck what were you going to do? Once you were outside, Dewey had leaned against the wall, sliding down it to sit on the ground. He put his head in his hands “imma be sii-ick”. Fuck. “no Dewey your fine.. your fine!” you knelt next to him and rubbed his back. “where do you stay Dewey? Where’s your apartment?” you tried to encourage him, but he simply moaned in reply. he was way too fucked to be left himself. What if he got lost? What if he choked on his vomit in his sleep? You couldn’t leave him. “w-why am I so stupid” Dewey cursed himself, his hands running through his hair, head between his legs, trying not to vomit. You felt terrible, having no idea the effects that night had on him. Tears pouring down your face you took out your phone and started to phone your dad. Dewey would just have to come and stay at Stark tower. You couldn’t leave him here in the cold.

Pacing the pavement where Dewey was sat, you kept looking down the street, waiting to see that black merc pull up. It only took Tony roughly 6 minutes to get here in that thing. C’mon, C’mon… Finally! The sweet purring of the merc’s engine came roaring up the street and rolled up next to you on the pavement. You had yet to tell your dad about Dewey.

“right hon, get in, how was your night?” Tony rolled down his window, looking at you, your arms folded, trying to stay warm. “uhhmmm” you replied, moving to the side so Tony could see Dewey sitting on the ground, head in his hands. Tony squinted his eyes, before realising what was going on “oh you’ve got to be kidding me, nuh-uh, y/n- no!”.

You rolled your eyes, “dad listen to me, he’s fucked up, I don’t know where his friends are, or where he lives? And I can’t just leave him here!”. Tony sighed “I thought we were over picking up strays? get in”. He revved the engine.

You huffed, “dad, how would you feel if someone left me on the pavement like that?”. Tony looked at you, then at Dewey. “fine, get him in the car, but he’s sleeping in the guest room”. you grinned and kissed your dad on the cheek, “see, Tony Stark does have a heart”.

Dewey had no idea where he was. This was probably the most drunk he had ever been. He just wanted to sleep, and forget the world. “w-where am I” he slurred as you and Tony took him into Stark Tower, you had one of his arms over your shoulders and Tony had the other. You were now completely sober. Dewey was not.

“it’s fine dude you’re doing great” you assured him. you had attempted to push your feelings to the back of your mind. You didn’t need your dad to see you upset again. “yikes if anyone heard this they’d think we trying to kidnap and murder the guy ‘you’re doing great’?” Tony joked. You forced a small laugh. You still felt guilty. Poor Dewey.

As you approached the lounge, Dewey realised where he was. “oh my god, this is the cool place with all the g-guitars!” he pointed to the guitars in awe. You laughed lightly. Dewey suddenly looked up at Tony. “and h-hey! Its i-ironm-man!”. Tony rolled his eyes. “hey hey, if ironm-man and the silver surr-fing dude teamed up guess w-what they’d be?” Tony sighed. “they’d be alloys” Dewey killed himself laughing. Tony let his arm go “yep never heard that one”. Tony looked at you “where’d you find these guys?”. You smirked at him.

“right, I’ll make you both a coffee and I’ll bring him some water aswell”. You nodded, still holding Dewey. “ugh dad about him sleeping in the guest ro-“ tony cut you off. “yeah no you can put him in your room, but you have to keep an eye on him y/n. We don’t need a corpse on our hand. Just make sure he lies on his side.”

“she’s got eyes, of the bluest skies and if they thought of rain…” Dewey began to sing to himself as he put his head on your shoulder, his eyes closing with tiredness. You smiled at him sadly. “I better get him laid down and to sleep” you looked at your dad sighing. “at least he’s got a good music taste” Tony joked. You scoffed “you’re not wrong there”. “I never am sweetie” Tony winked.

You were about to take Dewey to your room before you turned to your dad “hey dad, do you think you could grab a bottle of mum’s secret hang over cure for our new buddy?”. Tony pretended to act shocked “you’re willing to give up some of our secret stash for a stranger?” you giggled. “This guy’s no stranger dad. He’s different. Trust me. You would love him. Mum would have as well.” You looked down.

Tony felt his eyes water, but he had to keep his cool in front of his daughter. He hadn’t heard you talk about someone like that ever. It warmed him because maybe this meant you were finally getting better. “sure thing kiddo, I’ll leave it on the bed side table. I’ll maybe even be so kind as to leave you a bottle there aswell.” he smiled. “thanks dad”. Dewey was just about sleeping on your shoulder, still mumbling the words to Sweet Child of Mine.

When you eventually got Dewey to your room he lay on the bed and began to fall asleep. You had managed to get his shoes off and his trousers as you decided that was best. Your dad came in and left the goods on the coffee table, handing you your mug. Dewey was passed out on the bed. “enjoy babysitting” your dad joked as he left the room.

For the most part it was fine. Until around 5:30 when Dewey suddenly jerked his head up “im going to be sick”. You had been scrolling through your phone but jumped into action when he startled you. “here follow me” you got up off the bed, but Dewey fell as he tried to get up “ow”. You rushed over to him and pulled him up “where the fuck am i-“ Dewey almost threw up. You rushed him to the bathroom where he fell to his knees and vomited in the toilet. You rubbed his back “it’s ok, you’ll be ok”.

Dewey sat up and leaned against the bath. He looked up at who he was with and his heart sunk. What the fuck was he doing here? “wait.. wait I don’t understand, how did I get here?” he began to panic. “hey listen it’s fine, I bumped into you in the bar tonight and you were too wrecked to be left yourself”. Dewey started talking to himself “what’ve I done? Why did I do this? what does wrecked mean?” you looked at him and furrowed your eyebrows, confused.

“listen Dewey, I don’t know if this is the best time to tell you this but I wanted to apol-“ he cut you off “wait did we have sex?” he was still panicking. Had he made the same mistake again? “ugh, no I wouldn’t do that to you, I don’t want to hurt you-“ “hurt me?” he cut you off again. “it’s a bit late for that.” All you could feel was the shame and guilt in the pit of your stomach.

Dewey felt embarrassed, but he had to let out how he was feeling. Although, all he could think about was how beautiful you looked in your over sized t shirt and bed head.

“you really hurt me y/n”. you looked down and fiddled with the hem of your t-shirt. “I know Dewey, I know. And I really can’t apologise enough for it. I really was a dick. I had so many issues that I hadn’t dealt with and it really turned me into a mean person. But I really didn’t mean for you to get hurt…” you looked up at him with tears in your eyes. “I really didn’t. you were this new hope when I met you that night. Like no one I’d ever come across before. This beacon of light. And.. and I ruined it and for that I’m so, so, sorry Dewey.” Your eyes darted back down “and I totally understand if you wanna get up and leave and never see me again-“ suddenly Dewey grabbed your hand. Your breath hitched in the midst of your tears and you looked up at him.

“never see you again? y/n you’re the only thing I’ve been able to think about for the past four months. sure you hurt me, and it’s taken its toll on me.. but you had a beautiful soul. I just kept thinking that maybe I had brought out another part of you.. maybe there was someone under that charade.. because she would be a beautiful person.” He looked into your eyes, sympathetically. Dewey knew that there was more than what he had scratched on the surface. He didn’t tell you that, but he knew it. And he knew that when it was stripped away, someone truly amazing was there and waiting.

“I really am trying to fix myself, I promise. I’m not how I used to be. I’ve stopped going out as much, I take better care of myself.. I thought I was fixed until I bumped into you tonight and I realised that there was something missing.” Dewey smiled at you sweetly and wiped the tear from your face. He wasn’t sure if he was still drunk and was half dreaming this, or if he would feel different in the morning.. but right now he didn’t care. The thing he had been thinking about for four months was sat in front of him.

“you know, my mum used to have this saying ‘wits fur ye’ll no go by ye’ and it means, things that are meant to be, won’t pass by you.. and it’s how I feel when I’m with you Dewey…”. You looked him in the eyes and he looked back, adoringly. Dewey went to kiss you, was he still drunk? Or was this is heart talking, stuffing his mind with a sock in its mouth. But you pulled away “no.. I don’t want you to think I’m the same person I was.. I want to do this properly.” you exclaimed. Dewey looked up at you and raised his eyebrows, smiling. It was probably the only time he would ever be happy being rejected from a kiss.

You stand up, and pull him up with you. “c’mon, lets head to bed.. we can talk more in the morning when I’m sure you aren’t still drunk” you laugh lightly. Dewey smiles and follows you to the bed. In the beginning, you both lay on separate sides of the bed, but insecurities begin to creep in. “thank you for bringing me in.. and I’m sorry you had to deal with me..” Dewey admitted as he fiddled with the bed sheets. You turned to face him, “don’t be sorry, I’m just glad I found you and you didn’t end up on your own”.

The atmosphere was comfortable. It felt as if you had known one another for a long time. “I just.. I just feel like sometimes I’m not good enough…” Dewey opened up. Your heart broke. You knew exactly how this felt and it was a nasty, cold thought that haunted the majority of your life. You opened your arms out and welcomed Dewey into your embrace “come rest your bones next to me”. He looked over at you, and slowly moved over to you. You put your arms around his neck and he around your waist. You squeezed him tight. “everything will be ok.. if you wanna talk, I’m here. It’s what the wee hours are for”. Dewey furrowed his eyebrows “where the hell do you get your phrases? Wee hours? Come rest your bones next to me? What was the one earlier?... Wits fur ye…” you chuckled, “wits fur ye’ll no go by ye?” you finished. Dewey laughed “yeah those ones”.

You sighed heavily “they actually come from my mum.. she was Scottish…”.

Firstly to start off with, ummm a white kurtan, yes please, I know this bitch looks good whatever hes wearing, so it dont matter, BUT THE BLACK TANK TOP OOFFFF YOU BETTER STOP, ITS NOT GOOD FOR MY HEALTH. But moving on, I've finished reading the whole thing now, and I'm writing this in notes, so if you're getting thing like 40 minutes later it's because I'm drafting my ask. Basically I'm just gonna skim read it again and just give you my thoughts and any feedback, if that's okay with you, you can ignore this if you want to, I completely understand. I dont mind at all 😊😊

Ok to start off with, the exposition was really good, you've set the tone and introduced the Ackerman family really beautifully. When I read it initially the fact that Levi did not want a family or to get married was quite emphasised upon to me, and I'm really looking forward for the inevitable development and how his view changes as the chapters go on. I also love how you introduced Farlan and Isabel, and lightly touched upon how they met, you didnt go into too much detail and I really like that, it kept me focused on the actual story itself, which is about Levi and not Farlan. And Farlan wanting tto marry her 😢😢. I think it's really really sweet and I cant wait to see more of them. I love it so much.

The transition from setting the scene to their father being poisoned was not something I was expecting and made me go oh shit he dead. Part of me felt like it was moving too quick, but the other part of me loved the shock factor of it since it happened so suddenly. I didnt think of it as too big of an issue though, it was still enjoyable to read.

The whole encounter with the peasant guy made me wonder just how many more people there are like him, that dislike the Ackermans and would try to kill them. And whether y/n would be one of them. Also I got a bit confused as to who was speaking whether it was Farlan or Levi, but I read the sentence again and it was fine, I understood, so maybe I was just being a dumb bitch.

Oooh a quick point Levi sympathising with the criminal was really touching and made me feel warm and gooey. It shows that hes not a dick and does actually care about his people. But it also shows he has clear boundaries and is really firm. He will make a great leader in the future.

YESSS BODYGUARD ERWINNN!!!!! I WAS LITERALLY TELLING MY FRIEND THE OTHER DAY, ERWIN AND LEVI BODYGUARD AU IS THE BESTT. YES SWEETIE UGH ITS FANTASTIC. IVE SAID THIS BEFORE BUT IM SAYING IT AGAIN I LOVE IT.

Carrying on, I love the whole Erwin/Levi/Farlan interaction, of course Erwin knows everything, why wouldnt he, hes a boss ass bitch. Also again, reaffirming that Levi does not want a wife, nOicE. Really builds up his future development.

The difference in Levi's and Farlan's reaction is comical. Ones there waving and smiling and the other ones there like fuck off leave me alone. ALSO WHOEVER SAID THEY'LL GIVE UP THEIR VIRGINTY SAME GURLL SAMEEE, I WOULD TOO YOURE NOT ALONE. AND YES FARLAN IT IS FUNNY, IT MADE ME LAUGH.

Them locking eyes, him following her to get the leaves, HIM HELPING HER PICK UP THE BLOODY LEAVES, THE HAIR PART REMINDS ME OF IN BOLLYWOOD MOVIES WHEN THE PROTAGS HAIR GETS STUCK IN THE GUYS WATCH OR THEIR DUPATTA OR SOMETHING. OMGG Y/N IS ONE LUCKY BITCH.

Also since you havent specified the race of y/n, just wanted to ask is she Indian?? Or it it unspecified?? You wrote that she blushed bright red and many dark skinned readers wont be able relate. So yeah I'm not too sure whether that was intentional or not, I'm sorry if I'm mistaken though. I mean no harm at all.

Farlan's relationship with Levi is just beautiful, like I know I'm using the word beautiful a lot, but their broship is immaculate. Something else that I love.

Both Levi and Y/N not wanting to get married is hilarious. I really like how you've characterised her, shes really fierce, independent and seems really kind and caring as well. I really like this Y/N, very family oriented.

If I was her dad I would've taken the money. 🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️ Not complaining about it because my dad would've done the exact same thing, but if I was him I wouldve taken it. Sis is broke, sis needs all the money she can get.

I feel like this is really really long already so I'll quickly sum everything up, if you got this far you deserve a clap on the back and a medal, because I've basically just waffled. I really really enjoyed this chapter, it was very good in terms of introductions and getting to know the characters, I loved the initial meeting between levi and y/n and it did make my heart flutter quite a bit so that's that.
