#holidays are coming up and it would make a terrible gift #that's the main selling point #anyways these exist and can be exchanged for legal tender #the cost is the listed price + the emotional expense of knowing that i am judging u #bc i am. i am judging u #why would u want this. why would u exchange currency for this #there are so many other things you could exchnage currency for instead #a grocery store shrimp platter for instance #with the nauseatingly red cocktail sauce that is SO much better than a t shirt any time #hmm chicken picatta at a local Italian Eatery perchance? i am. a big fan of anything picatta #oh oh i know! 3.6 POUNDS OF FRESH OKRA #FOR THE COST OF THIS FRIVOLOUS T SHIRT U COULD INSTEAD PURCHASE 3.6 POUNDS OF FRESH DELICIOUS OKRA #and then --hold on i have a recipe--and then what u do is #so it is basically sacrilege to suggest this but what u do is u skip the cornmeal entirely #my southern ancestors are shaking a wooden spoon at me right now but LISTEN. u skip. the gotdang. cornmeal #instead: wash chop and soak (for 10 min) the okra in a mixture of 1 egg to tblsp water #then coat in flour #THATS IT JUST FLOUR #No cornmeal. i am betraying my heritage rn but I'm RIGHT #coat in flour sprinkle liberally in S&P and FRY that suck in veg oil high heat #until crispy & brown & u hear your arteries clenching in apprehension #so. so yeah #that's what u should do instead of buying this shirt go fry the shit out of some okra #(but buy local and young & tender if u can bc the grocery store is full of old-and-therefore-super-stiff specimens #pro tip (aka grandma tip): if u can't chop okra smoothly with your normal cutting knife then it's too old and tough.#...i mean u probably CAN still fry the shit out of it I've certainly done that before it's just much less delicious #ANYWAY. anyway ANYWAY. shirt. okra. farmers market. that reminds me of a post i made back when we first started selling these dang shorts #shirts. shorts shorts. oh shit i should make a crop top option.#i. i don't Know How to make a crop top option #HUH . . . i need to lie down now and contemplate the constant and irreconcilable limitations of the human experience good night

Ichor's back again! Decided to do some exercises with my silliest traumatized Sans, and the one that ended up sticking was the Cute Outfit doodles!

(He doesn't even like women #he just thinks pick-up lines are fun)#and the last one felt pretty self explanitory. i just kinda wanted to draw his bones and debate giving him a chest wound for the #bajillionth time (I never give him one-)#and the Collar and Manacles are part of his story and are non-removable hense why they stayed on the whole time 🫡#love Ichor immensely lmao #this one is definitely going back into my queue btw. you will see him again.

mine is combining this really oversized retro doctor who t-shirt with a pair of space/constellation pj pants, bc then the whole thing is doccy who themed and it brings me joy :)))

#also huge honorable mention to my current favorite t shirt which is from this small family barn I visited for my birthday!#they are the place I went to to pet baby cows and they were so nice and gave me a freaking cow-themed gift bag when I left for free #and it had this shirt with their barn name on it that is SOOO soft and nice I love it #whenever I wear it I get to both enjoy being cozy and remember a really nice day with kind people :))) and cows!!!

in the vein of those "try jokingly hyping yourself up instead of being self-deprecating" posts, my number one Feeling Good Life Hack is to get free compliments by complimenting yourself

example: I made my friend a bunch of pairs of earrings for her birthday once. Sometimes when I see her wearing them, I'll say "whoa, I love your earrings, someone really cool must have made those!" She'll usually grin and agree that someone really cool did make them, or that she likes them too.

this is of course best deployed with people who know it was you who actually made/did the thing you're complimenting, so they're in on the "joke" part. and if they're your friend they'll pretty much always jump on board and take the chance to compliment That Mysterious Cool Person who made/did whatever you're pointing out. so you get to compliment yourself, get compliments from other people, and make people laugh all in one.

also, if you do this enough to make this an inside joke between you, then they'll sometimes just start offering you free compliments without you even having to do the Bit. sometimes i'll just be like "oh! your earrings!" when i notice my friend wearing a pair that i made, and she'll go "yeah, someone very cool made them for me :)"

#stars has thoughts #i designed the t shirt for a theater production in high school #and i would tell everyone i saw wearing it 'i like your shirt' because it was funny (they all knew it was my design)#and there were several people who not even in a playing-along-with-the-bit way would tell me that they genuinely really liked the design #it was so sweet! and i wouldn't have heard them say that if i hadn't brought it up #anyway hype yourself up comedically like you're an unknown third party and people with think you're funny And give you compliments #i mostly do this with artwork i made (often as gifts to others)#but i think you could pull it off with pretty much anything you did that you can take credit for and know they will appreciate #my parents will occasionally do a 'someone who loves you very much loaded the dishwasher so you didn't have to' variation
