I've been on a soulmate AU kick lately and let me tell you there are so many creative ways people do those AUs. I love them all.
I really like the idea of tattoo flowers blooming when someone decides they love you though. These beautiful, lifelike flowers pop up and represent that person, both platonic and romantic.
Tumblr media
Huge sunflowers marking each strawhat crew member as soon as they met Luffy. So bright and eye catching, just like their captain, and bursting in color on their neck along the pulse point. Leaving no question on how loved they are
Purple heliotrope curling surprisingly delicate like a bracelet around their wrists, devotion in each petal as it climbs up their arm and a reminder that Zoro is always at their side.
The spikey, reddish protea slowing creeping from the temple and blooming at the corner of their eye. Courage at each petal tip and it's such an Usopp plant, no one has to wonder.
Tangerine and orange blossoms twisting down their sides and carefully woven with good luck, wealth, and good fortune in each splash of color.
Purple, blue iris twisted in wreaths around their thighs with valor and friendship drifting off each petal like smoke.
A small lotus growing on the side of their finger, small but elegant in the way it shows off knowledge and wisdom. An almost hidden thing that flashes out like a private smile just for them.
Pink hyacinth following their spines and so gentle in it's growth. Playful in nature as it grows and flourishes, affection in each new bloom.
Deep red amaryllis winding up around their ankles, creativity and art helping hold them steady on the ship carrying their dreams.
Yellow daffodils popping up behind their ear, another small but beautiful addition to their collection. The bright color a breath of new air towards new beginnings and new life.
Other
Red dahlia curling around Marco's tattoo. Strength curling off each petal and making him think of warm smiles and the brilliance of fire.
Blue crocus scattered over Ace like wind blown, little wildflowers. Representing rebirth and making him think of healing flames, acceptable, and blue eyes.
All the whitebeard crew having hydrangeas bloom around their tattoo. Big, bursting, healthy flowers that scream of love and family. Always growing and blooming with each new addition.

Tangramkedd 02 “Highway Ambience” (2007)
Tumblr media
2007 tavasza.
Úgyhogy belementem, attól a naptól fogva vagyok Tangram.
Ebben a dalban debütált a korábban említett digitális fúvóshangszerem. Asszem akkortájt voltunk Sayag Jazz Machine koncerten és onnan a fúvós+drumandbass hatás. A Thousand With Two dal egy régi történet megéneklése: két lánnyal leveleztem akkoriban, összesen kb. ezer levelet váltottunk. Amúgy öcsém kérésére írtam a zenét, valami sulis feladatához kellett. Aztán annyira tetszett, hogy rátettem a lemezre is. A Turbulence c. dalban használtam a digitális fúvós eszközt másodszor, az egésznek a grooveja eléggé megfogott, sodró, turbulens. A Shores of Granada cím egy tisztelgés a Boards of Canada előtt, nem akartam másolni a zenéjüket, inkább a hangulatot, amit sugároznak. Bátyám egyszerűen "Song of játszótér" címen emlegette, nyilván a dal végi gyerekkacaj miatt. Chillout a javából, imádom benne a gitárt. Landscaping: 10 Clever Gardening Tips to Save Time
New Post has been published on https://gardenguideto.com/trending/landscaping-10-clever-gardening-tips-to-save-time/
Landscaping: 10 Clever Gardening Tips to Save Time
Anyone with a well-tended garden knows the endless hours that can be eaten up by chores. And there’s no finish line in sight—cultivated ground comes with a year-long schedule of planting, weeding, mulching, pruning, cutting back, and composting (with a lot more jobs on top if you also grow your own plants from seed or cuttings).
There’s a reason why retirees take up gardening; it can easily become a full-time job. But there are ways to lighten the load. Gardening pros (or people who spend nearly all their time maintaining their plots) have plenty of tricks up their sleeves. We asked a few gardening friends to share their secrets to save time in the gardens.
1. Organize the tool shed.
Above: A wall of pegboard keeps garden accessories and tools tidy in editor Michelle Adams’s garden shed (also shown in the top photo). See more in Before & After: A Garden Makeover in Michigan for Editor Michelle Adams. Photograph by Marta Xochilt Perez.
As chatelaine of Easton Walled Gardens, Ursula Cholmeley knows a thing or two about time-saving techniques. She has been restoring the gardens on the Easton estate (which has been owned by the Cholmeley family since 1561) over the past two decades. “An obvious but vital tip is to get tools, compost, feed, and pots in stock before you need them,” advises Ursula. “That way you don’t spend a beautiful sunny spring day going to the garden center, but can get straight into the garden and enjoy your work. And remember to add slow release six-to-eight-month fertilizer for your summer pots. They will grow strongly and need less liquid feed.”
2. Plant a meadow.
Above: See more of this meadow in Garden Visit: A Backyard Meadow in Mill Valley, CA. Photograph by Mimi Giboin.
If, like the Cholmeleys, you have a big space to maintain then think about giving some of it over to a meadow. “A spring bulb meadow is a lot less work than a traditional summer meadow,” adds Ursula. “Plant bulbs that flower before May in an area of grass each autumn and then mow from June onwards. You can have a succession of bulbs from January crocuses to species tulips in late May and use the area as a lawn for the rest of the year.”
3. Mulch wisely.
Above: See more in Required Reading: Landscape of Dreams, the Bannermans’ Cornish Castle Garden. Photograph by Isabel Bannerman and Dunstan Baker.
Some jobs seem like a mountainous task but save time in the long run. At Tremanton Castle husband and wife garden designers Isabel and Julian Bannerman order a vast amount of winter mulch that’s spread over borders. It’s a big expense and a very time-consuming exercise, but come spring it suppresses weeds and ensures that soil and therefore plants are stronger and healthier too.
4. Plant a container garden.
Above: See more of this garden in Garden Visit: A Factory Yard at Emma Bridgewater in Stoke-on-Trent. Photograph by Arthur Parkinson.
Gardener and author of The Pottery Gardener, Arthur Parkinson, designs and maintains the exuberant garden at Emma Bridgewater’s vast Stoke-on-Trent pottery. And the space needs to look good year-round for the benefit of factory staff and visitors. Some tricks can do double-duty.
Save on watering time by using larger pots, which will dry out much more slowly. They will also add more drama. “For added height place long Tom pots or galvanized tall buckets within the actual flower beds in the autumn and fill them with tulip bulbs. You can take this one step further too and use dolly tubs and or old cattle troughs filled with a succession of cosmos, roses, and clematis.”
5. Choose low-maintenance plants.
Above: Arthur Parkinson loves rich color: Dahlia ‘Totally Tangerine’ is used in many of the summer pots along with D. ‘Waltzing Matilda’ and Cosmos ‘Antiquity’ along with some billowing foliage, from Panicum ‘Frosted Explosion’ or, in this case, millet. Photograph by Arthur Parkinson.
Don’t add more work with high-maintenance plants. “If you want scent in the garden, go for the richly perfumed Phlox ‘Blue Paradise’, which will give a bunch of annual sweet peas a run for its money, and it won’t need any of the work that annual sweet peas demand either,” recommends Parkinson.
6. Rely on companion plants.
Above: Kale and roses. See more in 23 and Me: My Favorite Edible Plants to Grow in Shade. Photograph by Marie Viljoen.
Pests can wreak havoc and undo lots of good work, so focus on prevention rather than cure. “Mix vegetables such as kale through your dahlia beds; they’ll not only look striking but are less likely to get affected by pests because they are alone whereas if planted in lines together they are more likely to draw attention to themselves,” says Parkinson.
7. Rely on companion ducks.
Above: Photograph by Clare Coulson.
“If you have a large garden and water, then bantam call ducks and miniature crested Appleyards make the most beautiful slug control. I let them waddle through the whole garden in the middle of May before the summer bedding is planted out into the garden.”
8. Add year-round structure.
Above: Photograph by Arthus Parkinson.
To avoid a barren look in flower beds over the winter, Parkinson suggests building in plant supports as the garden goes to sleep, saving a big job come spring: “Go foraging for the young, long twiggy whips of silver birch that you can then weave easily into curving snakes and upside-down broomstick-like tepees to await the growth of tall perennials and climbers underneath them come,” he says. “Their presence will make any space look like its gearing up for the growing season ahead and give instant interest and structure while the garden is asleep.”
9. Stake early.
Above: See more in Garden Visit: At Home with Writer Daisy Garnett in London. Photograph by Clare Coulson.
London-based writer Daisy Garnett uses a similar strategy, using winter and early spring as the time to get organized to save chaos later. “Stake early,” advises Daisy. “This actually adds time to your planting, but again is so cost effective in the long run. It’s so much quicker to stake your plants before they really need it. Trying to right a plant that has flopped over and then got itself into contortions while seeking light and sun takes ages. Shoving a stake in as you plant and weed takes no time at all.”
10. Tote a bag, bucket, or trug.
Above: See more in Storage: Recycled Tire Trugs.
And sometimes the simplest tips can be the most useful. “I’ve learned the hard way: Always have a container of some sort with you,” adds Daisy. “Bag, bucket, trug—to carry whatever you are using—rowel, ties, string, secateurs. And use it. Get in the habit of always putting your stuff in there even when you move just an inch. I could well have used better the hours I have spent over the years searching beds, greenhouse, and compost bins for lost trowels.”

Itasca, IL Fusion Wedding by Old North Film Company
Though the weather was freezing outside on Katie and Neeraj’s wedding day, the environment inside their Eaglewood Resort & Spa venue couldn’t have been warmer! This loved up affair included two matrimonial ceremonies and oodles of excited guests ready to celebrate the much beloved couple! We absolutely loved the couple’s fashions for both events. Maharani Katie wore a coral lehenga for the Indian ceremony and slipped into a diaphanous white gown with a jewel encrusted bodice for the second ceremony. We love it when brides at fusion weddings pay homage to both cultures, and Katie did a fantastic job accomplishing this! Neeraj also looked incredible, in a regal sherwani for the Hindu ceremony, followed by a strapping tux! The event’s photographer from Vrai Photography shared that her favorite moment of the night was when Neeraj cut of the officiant with a joyous “I will!” causing Katie and all the guests to laugh until they cried! After the emotional ceremonies, Katie, Neeraj, and their guests were whisked off to the reception soiree, which was decorated lavishly in draping and colorful flowers by the artists at Dahlia Blooms and tangerine hued uplighting by Dream Occasions! We were hanging on to every word in the speeches given by the newlyweds’ family and friends, and loved that a couple members of the bridal party were in Green Bay Packers hats! Definitely some fierce Packers pride going on! The reception program was extraordinary, including dances by Neeraj’s nieces and nephews and a Ukrainian dance troupe bringing the house down! Katie and Neeraj then took over the dance floor to music by Belle Music and Spinnin' Discs, and guests partied all night long to celebrate Mr. and Mrs. Mehrotra! Maharanis, hit play to enjoy the action packed wedding film by Old North Film Company! http://dlvr.it/P6fbq8

A look at the New RHS Chatsworth Flower Show 2017
The Grounds of Chatsworth House
The first ever RHS Chatsworth Flower Show took place earlier this month, from 7-11th of June 2017.
I was lucky enough to be able to attend a Press Preview day, which ended rather abruptly early afternoon when the poor weather deteriorated resulting in sideways rain and wind strong enough to bring down a 20ft Palm Tree as I was passing by. I also attended the next day, which was the first official day open and the  RHS Members Day.
There has been lots reported about traffic problems and delays, but I can honestly say I had no problems at all, I drove straight into the car parks just after 9am, and settled down to wait for the 10am opening of the show.
Spaceship.
The RHS landed a spaceship in disguise as an inflatable giant conservatory, however nobody was allowed in after mid-morning in case they succumbed to the high winds.
Caterpillar
Ant
Ladybird
There appeared to be a random assortment of giant insects scattered around the site, as I saw no children throughout my visit I can only assume these insects were the reason. They were in fact part of a family trail sponsored by Bonne Maman Desserts.
There were 2 separate floral marques full of nurseries, one called the Cavendish Floral Marquee and the other one called the Devonshire Floral Marquee, both had nurseries in attendance that I have not come across before, as well as many regulars and favourite. The Great Conservatory (Spaceship),  was placed in between them with displays about The Cavendish Banana and Joseph Paxton within.
There was also a very well provided outside Plant Village with 13 nurseries in place.
One of my favourite Nurseries, Pennard Plants, was in attendance with a few new edible varieties available to buy.
Tomato Patio Plum
Sweet Pepper Tangerine Dream
I bought a plant of the very Dwarf Tomato Patio Plum which reaches 45 cm tall, and is apparently open pollinated, so hopefully a few seeds can be saved.
The Cottage Garden Society display
Gorgeous display by Morton Nurseries
Another Lovely Display
National Dahlia Society Display. Mystic Fantasy
National Dahlia Society Display. MT New Pink Single
The RHS had a planted display explaining about RHS Plant Trials and about the Award of Garden Merit, otherwise known as the AGM.
Hostas
Information board.
There were many quirky sights to be seen throughout the show sight, some by design, some due to the weather.
Sheep in Wellies
wind damage
Welly Fountain.
More Sheep?
The RHS had a feature garden called Garden for a changing climate, it was a depiction of two different scenarios for a small suburban garden based on gardening now and gardening in the future. It was designed to cope with extremes in temperature, and severe downpours of rain.
RHS Garden for a changing Climate
RHS Garden for a Changing Climate
The Show Gardens
Many of the show gardens were located together, this area got quite boggy due to the persistent rain, but I did my best in trying to take pictures and crop out the almost obligatory ‘person in a high vis vest’ Theme.
Cruse Bereavement Care: ‘A Time for Everything’
A garden of emotions with planting to symbolise the journey taken by those dealing with terminal illness
Lovely water feature.
Wonderful Lupins standing up to the winds.
This was a lovely garden that was awarded a Silver-Gilt. Worthy of a Gold in my opinion, very restful, with a seating areas, and parts of the garden out of view so you could not see it all at once. Very nice planting.
The Agriframes Garden
This garden is styled to reflect the influence of the Modernist movement yet could translate brilliantly to a current setting.
Apparently the idea was to view the seamless tubular steel frames of the pergolas change in shape from square to rounded as you walk through, representing the evolving use of this product in industry. Well it looked like a bit of an advert in my mind, however I really liked the colour combinations, but not necessarily the actual design itself.
Brave Delphiniums
Annoying square bits
There were annoying patches of grass throughout the garden which did not appear to serve any purpose, difficult to step onto because of surrounding plants and structures, and certainly from my point of view as a gardener, very difficult to actually maintain, you’d have to trim them with shears.! This Garden was awarded a Bronze. But as I said, I liked the colour combinations.
  Moveable Feast
This garden takes on the fight with ‘no maintenance gardening’ and wins with all year round interest for anyone
Large containers on wheels
Fruit, Herbs & Edibles.
I was really looking forward to seeing this garden, the concept of an entirely movable garden appeared to have passed Garden Designers by, until Tanya of Vergette Gardens designed this garden in order for the owner, or tenant of a property to take all the plants and features with them should they move on.
It’s a great idea also if any plants needed moving in or out of shady or sheltered areas to better suit their needs then they could be easily rolled into a new position. The Garden was awarded a Silver Medal.
Belmond Enchanted Gardens
As you enter the garden through the scented doorways, you’re drawn into a floral journey which invites you to dream a little.
Best in Show
Wood woven Gateway
Spiral Stairway
Hedging and naturalistic plantings.
This was an interesting garden, there were only a few small areas where you could see into the garden, so it was a bit of a squash.
Predominantly naturalistic plantings with wildflowers, and seeding grasses, there were also small areas planted with herbs, and edibles.  The twisting staircase led upwards (to nowhere), or as the show guide said, to wherever your imagination takes you. This garden was awarded a gold, and was best in show.  Personally I was very confused by this garden.
IQ Quarry Garden
Best Show Garden
Best Construction award
Influenced by the life cycle of a quarry, this garden is designed for a professional couple who have built a modern house, and are inspired by brutalist form.
She got wet.
Planted bits were nice
Unable to see in there.
Plants stuffed in.
This garden appeared to be in 3 sections, the front section was very heavily planted, with trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants, this was to represent nature reclaiming the area.  The middle section was lots of gravel and a water hole that you couldn’t see into from the boundary of the garden.
And the third section was very harsh in design and colour, and had a scantily clad woman sprayed orange draping over rocks… I had no idea what this was for, so I wandered off in search of an ice cream.
Experience Peak District & Derbyshire Garden
Lee’s garden gives a flavour of all that is great and beautiful about the Peak District and Derbyshire. Meadows, native trees and models of cows illustrate the wild and natural spaces while the traditional, manicured formal gardens take their cue from the area’s great houses
Silver Cows
Mini Formal Garden
Nice Edging
This was a nice garden, with lots of themes stuffed into a small space, with a big wide open area to represent the Peak District. (The rain certainly helped).
The planting was nice, but once again lots stuffed in, there where silver & Gold Cows dotted about, and apparently earlier in the day Alan Titchmarsh was spotted interfering with one or two. (They had blown over).
This garden was awarded a Silver-Gilt medal.
Jackie Knight’s Just Add Water
A colourful and fun water garden using local stone with a cascade, stepping-stones and a mix of alpines and perennials
Rocks
More Rocks
Rocks and water
I cannot remember the last time I saw a really good rock garden at a big show, I think the time and effort involved in building a garden well might put many off.
This garden was lovely, and easy to see it all from one position, the persistent heavy rain certainly made it look all nice, fresh and clean.
So that was a quick look at the new show, on any normal day the journey would take me about 1 hour 40 mins to drive, so this show has become a ‘local’ show for me.
I’m looking forward to next year’s show already, I think the RHS has certainly got to make some changes to the show layout, and make a better provision with some signage and extreme weather planning, also the traffic situation needs looking as, but as I previously stated I somehow managed to miss all the problems with my journey to the show.
Tickets for RHS Chatsworth 2018 go on sale August 1st. 2017 For RHS Members.
Public Tickets go on sale September 1st. 2017.
