After seeing how Tech's bed is a mess, I like to think that sometimes he leaves things lying around on the floor when he works or something, causing one of his brothers to trip over them.

This took way to long to finish, it's stupid.

Hunter made the mistake of trying to help Omega with her math homework. He should probably leave that to Tech. (I dont know about you, but my parents and I would always argue over homework) Don't worry about it though, they made up later that night.

Echo and Tech are out of the house for a couple weeks, each on their own trips. And without Echo, the house as truly gotten out of hand cleanliness wise.

And their big family has gotten even bigger! Now that Batcher has joined. I decided to make her a King Cane Corso.

Drawing inspired by the penultimate chapter of @kaydear's modern AU Bad Batch fic. It's one of those wonderful moments where the writing gave me such a strong visual that I couldn't wait to get it on paper. Rambling praise for the fic (and I guess spoilers?) and lines-only version of the drawing under the cut.

I read this fic last summer and it was my favorite thing that I read that entire year (and that includes all the traditionally-published books I read as well).

I wish I could draw like every other scene, but I'll summarize by saying that the exploration of each character and the moments where they connect are so real and satisfying. What blew me away the most was seeing how Crosshair existed as a modern character in a domestic setting, without the Empire and the inhibitor chips. I guess we'll never know exactly what Omega whispered in his ear here (unless Kaydear you want to spill!) but I assumed it was encouragement to go make things right with Hunter. And I just felt the relief when I read their conversation and Crosshair finally told his secret and let go of the guilt that was obviously eating him alive.

There is a lot of fan content I've seen that extrapolates the relationship between Omega and Crosshair... this fic is one of the best. I ate up every scene that focused on the two of them.

Kaydear you have a gift, and I am blessed to experience it.

So, uhh. Based on an old post by @neon-junkie that said that Crosshair would look good in tactical/tech wear, though I lost that post half way through the drawing process and had to improvise the rest. Hope it’s still close to what you had in mind!

Everything is fine!!! Tech and Omega just got back from the aquarium they had a great time and saw some turtles!!!!! They’re tired tho so they’re taking a quick Power Nap before everyone else gets home!!!!

This is a meme in our house that would probably be a meme in the modern batch house too; it comes with being from a disaster family. Now to go rewatch Mr. Mom

Trying to spend less than 30 mins on my cartoon ideas bc they will never get posted otherwise, but i still end up spending 3x that amount.

Also- does anyone have any good tablet recs? built into the screen or peripheral? Ive been doing these on my phone screen 😩

Oh look! It’s Tech! Dad #2!!

He grew so much once Omega was in their care. She’s probably one of his favorite people, and he adores her curiosity and will do whatever he can to foster it.

He helps homeschool Omega as she transitions to going to school full time with the help of the Lawquanes (and that means he gets to work from home).

And remember the rock Omega painted? Yeah it’s based off the flower that Phee pressed and poured resin over to preserve it after Omega gave it to Tech (his keychain)
