“They were once again standing on either side of the elegant stone pensieve, white-knuckled hands gripping its edges as they stared, wide-eyed, at each other. Their faces were so close together that the air Eloise breathed out was inhaled by Sebastian.
They stayed like that for seconds, minutes, hours, unable - unwilling - to break the spell.”
From chapter 11 of my fic 😇

"All certified dollmakers have their personal crests, which their dolls carry. The crests are decorated with the dollmaker's signature flower, and are traditionally placed in a central position on their dolls' bodies.
For living dolls made to hold a ghost inside them, the crest is placed around the seal keeping it sealed inside the doll. This is done to symbolize the agreement between dollmaker and ghost, for the ghost to serve the dollmaker and the dollmaker to help the ghost be relieved from their burdens."

So I've been pretty addicted to making these higher quality busts/icons for my characters over on Toyhouse lately
I have over 300+ of them to make, so it's gonna be a slow go 😭 at least they're fun!!
(These boys are Ficus, the Leaf, and Chalcedony, the Sky!)

Sketch dump mostly for practice drawing these two cuz I have a lotta ship art ideas in mind hehe 💖 First one's a loose height comparison for fun, and second, well... there are honestly a few moments in the show where Mojo's shown to be pretty strong so I definitely think he'd be able to lift me no sweat, hehe 👉👈💖💖💖💖
[[Any reblogs or comments are seen and very appreciated!! ❤️🥺❤️🥺❤️🥺❤️]]

do u want me to tag you in ask games is the thing-
Also!
Check out @/fivemillionrats, they reblog a Lot of small artists!!!
Sure! I may not always have the energy to answer them but I do like looking at them and occasionally bumping them!
[Throwing this out for new eyes, you can absolutely @t me in any posts of your own original thoughts/creations. Art? Writing? Specific oc memes? I do look at everything i am @'d in!]
Also yes
always down to plug @fivemillionrats they reblog a lot! Always in my notifs too, like cute rats with morsels of cheese. I wish I was on that level. Its a good treasure trove of art! While I definitely do advocate plunging through tags to find good art, if you dont have time fivemillionrats is a good place to start!
Additionally because they make these pieces so easy to find, leave some comments. Maybe find a fave to support.
I sometimes wonder if the reason they reblog so many gems is because they really are five million rats working in tandem...🤔 hmmm...

Hatch is a small, hidden village within Cubator Valley, a bowl-like impression in a large hill that is surrounded by thick forest at its brim. Although Hatch is situated right within the divit, it's also propped up by a strange, large mound erected at the valley center, keeping the town ground leveled and relatively even for walking and living purposes. Like a drainer, or even perhaps an antlion pit, all who break the forest line tend to stumble and slide into its middle; and the difficulty to climb out is only exacerbated by the strange beasts who enhabit the surrounding areas.
The majority of the village populas has a unifying quirk- nearly all citizens seem to have sewn-on sections of skin and body parts, with obvious visual distinction to their original counterparts. Despite the horrifying implications of this, the smell of rot or dead flesh never lingers in the town, and it seems that somehow, borrowed parts remain functional and living no matter the fate of the previous owners.
This stalemate between life and death permiates up to the village's climate, a forever-autumn where flora and fauna can never seem to take the next steps of seasonal fate. Even the trees desperately try to shed their golden hues, endlessly throwing off and regrowing their leaves to reach that bare and withered winter state- a natural preformance reaching a sisyphean impasse. To say that nothing dies in Hatch would be a wistful half-truth, as pain and other natural processes continue to preform their duties despite the force of life preventing their completion.
The town nickname, "Stein's Egg", is born through the town's founder's desire to "hatch" a potential paradise from this cavernous divit. Yet paradise is a falsehood even the founder couldn't benefit from, as today the cruelity of his fate never escapes the softness of a whisper.
