Bio:

Born in Star City, Connecticut to firefighter Tomas Garcia and his wife Rosa who works as Nurse, Camila was raised more or less under their stern yet loving care without any major incidents during the first few years of her life. Early though, she began a small liking to the art of archery, inspired by some cartoons and movies her family would sit down to watch together, among them Robin Hood.

However her first foray into the world of superheroes and villains which turbo charged her interest in archery came when one day, at seven years old, Her family where visiting a nearby bank. All of the sudden, armed crooks and thieves held the staff and patrons visiting hostage as they made their way to the vaults with hopes to clear them out with the money for themselves. When Tomas attempts trying to stand up to ringleader of these thieves, he had said ringleader’s six barrel revolver aimed directly at his face. Just as little Camila was about to rush to save her Dad, suddenly an arrow knocks the pistol out of the leader’s hand, quickly letting everyone present to look and sure enough, Green Arrow, Red Arrow Black Canary and finally the blonde haired, yellow and red suited Speedy II had arrived, beginning to make quick work of these thieves.

Their amazing feats and skills as they dodged each and every bullet fired at them while firing back with arrows of all sorts from the traditional to the Boxing Glove and Exploding Trick ones were all a joy and wonder to behold for little Camila as her family held her close. Especially prominent of which were both Red Arrow and Speedy, most getting her attention with quippy back and forth banter and compliments to one another in the face of these odds. As the battle wraps to a close with the ringleader being taken down by Green Arrow’s boxing glove arrow, the Arrows checked everyone of the patrons for their safety and seeing if any were hurt, Speedy in particular walking to the Garcias. During which, Camila, with wonder in her eyes, reaches out to shake Speedy’s hand which she gladly and proudly accepts

Since then, Camila has attended numerous archery classes and clubs to improve her skills and hobby into new heights. This all comes for the as she secretly also begins sewing up her own suit, inspired by both the Speedy that rescued her family but also of another archer based hero, Arrowette from Young Just Us. However, in the midst of probably living up to a dream of being a small scale superhero of her own, a major bombshell in her life drops. Her parents had divorced; while cordial and respectful as they both have an understanding with each other and for certain beyond doubt they love their daughter, this was far more than what Camila can grasp at first. Even to the present day, the longer effects of this sudden divorce and its aftermath linger in her headspace when discussing with her parents.

As Rosa has primary custody of Camila, the two later moved from Star City to the environmentally progressive yet rather radically grim Bludhaven, New Jersey, renting out an apartment in a complex run by none other than Richard Grayson-Wayne, who’s own family of Kory, Mar’i and prominent for our story Jake, all reside within. Initial greeting with the Graysons were slow as per moving troubles and the like, but overtime within the months after doing so and first attending Bludhaven Academy, which has her attending many of the classes as Jake does, Camila starts adjusting accordingly and with confidence

Finally her big break came as she put the final touches on her suit. One day, local heroes Nightstar and Skybird were engaged in a massive brawl against resident local super criminals the HIVE Five but at first were hopelessly outmatched. Seeing these heroes in danger and wanting to prove herself, Camila puts on her finished suit, takes her bow and arrow and set and sticks to the shadows for a chance to strike on the side of the heroes. As a fist from Manmoth was about to pound into Skybird, she fires the arrow right to armored gauntlet around his fist, stunning him in shock and giving Skybird the chance for a knockout blow, finishing the fight with a victory for the good guys. It’s there Nightstar spots this archer clad in blue and white and the latter makes a run for it, afraid of their attention to her.

By the time she reaches her window to her bedroom and takes off her domino mask, she only needs to look behind to see both Nightstar and Skybird right outside, lightly tapping the window to let her know she can have her arrow back. Realizing there’s no use hiding it, Camila lets the two in, revealing herself as that archer who helped out against the HIVE; she only had a desire to help out and didn’t meant to get in their way. She almost starts pleading with the two not to tell her mother about this.

Thankfully at that moment, Nightstar and Skybird reveal themselves as her neighbors Mar’i and Jake, perfectly understanding her and promising not to tell either Rosa nor Tomas. After some talk about what inspired her and what she wants to do as an archer crime fighter, both Mar’i and Jake later take her to visit one particular other junior archer crime fighter who can vouch for her to receive some advanced training: Lian Harper, daughter of Red Arrow himself Roy. After some introductions are made and offers for her being trained by her hero Speedy herself, Mia Dearden, all that’s left now is her codename. That one was too easy for her.

By day she’s regular student and almost average girl Camila Garcia; at late afternoon, you can call her Quiver

Trivia:

- Like Lian and Roy, Camila and her mother Rosa have strong taste buds able to withstand the spiciness of Ollie’s infamous Chili Recipe. Rosa goes as far as to make additions and spin offs to said recipe with her own ingredients. They prove more popular than Ollie’s only because more flavor comes in exchange for Spice

- While never wining any medals or trophies in previous archery competitions, Camila has come pretty close to them on several occasions, usually landing her in between Second and Third places frequently. It’s something she and Arrowette aka Cissie King Jones can be relate to

- While not an outright member as of yet, similar also to Penelope Troy, Camila is indeed a close ally of both the Titans of Tomorrow and Team StarKnights due to her friendship with Mar’i and Jake. And yes like the many members on both teams, she’s well aware of Jake’s hidden crush for his classmate Meredith Robinson though unlike the others, she’s the one mostly likely to let Jake and Meredith have their personal space from each other out of respect for their feelings.

- Speaking of Penny, both Camila and her are both very close with each other as friends as well, Penny even offering Camila Amazon based Archery techniques she knows by heart to which Camila gladly accepts and slumber parties between them are common as well

Doctor Who & Torchwood Rec List

Since I headcanon the Doctor as being aspec, I'm kinda picky about ship fics involving him. Pretty much the only romantic ships for the Doctor that actually feel like they work are Doctor/Rose, Doctor/Rose/Jack, and Doctor/Master. (I really wish 13/Yaz had more chemistry since I adore Yaz, but the ship in canon came out of nowhere once Dan decided he was a shipper on board. And it was one-sided in a way that was super uncomfortable to me after how badly Doctor/River was mishandled, but this isn't my blog for talking about meta so I'll leave off on that.)

That said, there is a lot of shipping going on in these recs... they're just mostly not the Doctor. (And, okay, there's a Sarah Jane Adventures fic in here too...)

The Rec List:

The Boy Who Waited by Lunik Gen Fic In the timeline of the Earth without stars, Rory Williams loses the Pandorica - and his memories - and winds up working for SHIELD. It's a fun character study of Rory (who keeps changing his name since he can't remember his real one) and starts off during the events of the first Thor movie. It's got more MCU characters than Doctor Who, but because it's about Rory I think of it first and foremost as a DW fic.

Guardians of the Universe by Lumendea Ship: Doctor/Rose A series rewriting the entirety of the reboot series and its spin offs (well, it hasn't touched on Class yet, that I remember). Rose first meets the Doctor when she's eleven and the whole universe changes. The series is huge and well written, incorporating a lot of lore from the original series and expanded universe (though it's ignoring more recent revelations, such as the Timeless Child). A lot of former companions show up and handless the Time Travelers Wife type situation the Doctor and Rose are in a lot better than canon handled it with the Doctor and River. The series itself unfinished, but is being updated regularly. And there's 17 works in the series already, most of which are completed long fics.

The Mystery of the Hopping Vampire by David Hines (hradzka) Ship: Jenny/Vastra Jenny and Madam Vastra investigate an alien causing trouble in London. There are references to plenty of other adventures that make me wish we'd had a spin off show about these two investigating aliens in Victorian London. (They deserved a spin off show.) Jenny is particularly awesome in this fic and proves to be just as important a part of the investigating team as Vastra.

Stay Strong, Ponds by Starknight Gen Fic A short fic where 13 runs into Rory by accident and can't quite resist leaving him a gift afterwards.

drape me in your warmth by princessoftheworlds Ship: Jack Harkness/Ianto Jones In which Jack Harkness never meets the Doctor and Rose, never becomes immortal. When Lisa Hallett dies at Canary Wharf, Ianto moves back to Cardiff and re-establishes Torchwood there. But a certain Time Agent winds up meeting the new head of Torchwood anyway. It isn't exactly a happy ending, though. So do keep that in mind.

Recall by Lumendea Ship: Doctor/Rose Gaia, the Doctor's daughter, has a recall device that takes her to the nearest safe point in the TARDIS when activated. However, it's not always a version of the TARDIS that lines up with her own time line. In which Gaia visits the TARDIS and meets versions of her father that are younger (or older) than the one raising her. The Doctor/Rose ship is largely background to the larger story, which is the Doctor interacting with Gaia and dealing with his curiosity about the circular paradox that is his daughter. It's unfinished, but ongoing, and Gaia's interactions with the Doctor and his Companions are really quite sweet.

Absent Friends by Beleriandings Ship: Jack Harkness/Ianto Jones Based off the summary of the un-released Big Finish audioplay by the same name. The Doctor must team up with Jack's Torchwood when Cardiff is endangered by the voices of the dead.

This Is How The Universe Ends by perryvic and shewhoguards Ship: Jack Harkness/Death When the universe comes to an end, Death finds there's still one person left. Whom he can't seem to reap. A largely silly fic in which Death of the Discworld variety makes a new friend and Jack flirt with a talking skeleton over board games.

Doctor Who Season Four and Season Five by Aria Ship: Doctor/Master, Martha Jones/Thomas Milligan The Master doesn't die at the end of New Who series three and travels with the Doctor, ostensibly to keep him out of trouble. Which is not always a successful endeavor. Somewhat angsty and sometimes the Master gets one over on the Doctor, but the push and pull between them is quite interesting.

By Any Other Name by averita Ship: Clyde Langer/Ellie Faber Clyde and Ellie are reunited after the events of The Curse of Clyde Langer.

The Man in the Tower by blackkat Ship: Jack Harkness/Ianto Jones, Owen Harper/Toshiko Sato A fusion fic using To Ride Pegasus/The Tower and The Hive universe by Anne McCaffrey as it's setting. Prime Talent Ianto Jones is resigned to his fate as a disgraced Talent when the universe rips open and drops Jack Harkness at his feet.

Pocket Watch Boy by Mhalachai Ship: Jack Harkness/Ianto Jones When Ianto was a child, he fell from a tree and woke up with a different face. Years later he learns perception filters don't exactly work well on the dead. One of my favorite Timelord!Ianto fics.

Displacement (The Longest Three-Week Day) by michelel72 Ship: Rodney McKay/Donna Noble At another science conference gone wrong, Rodney McKay meets Donna Noble and that's when things get interesting. A fix fic for the state Donna was left in after Journey's End and a very cute crossover ship.

That seems like enough for now, but there are so many Doctor Who & Torchwood fics I've really enjoyed so I'll have to do another rec list for the fandom later.

The Rose in the Light

Ruby had just arrived in the city of Argus on the back of Bumblebee, her older sister Yang's motorcycle. She slowly got off the trailer cart as she patted off her skirt as her body aches from all the walking she had been doing in Mistral. Not to mention her close shave with the terrifying Apathy Grimm.

She popped her back as she smiled seeing the large wall as the rest of her team parked her vehicle and meeting with Team JRN. The city was the last sea port before they arrive in the legendary city of Atlas. "Woah~"

She said as she walked into the city as it was very San Francisco styled as she saw people and families walking down the streets. "Now im gonna grab a bite to eat."

Starknight Chronicles is in three parts.

Starknights (The Continuation Fanfic for All Your Hiatus Needs) takes off right were canon left us: Star has taken Marco’s scissors with her, leaving him stranded on Earth. Teaming up with Jackie and Janna, and reaching out to Tom to borrow a pair of scissors, Marco sets his sights on helping Star with whatever crisis the Queen thought immediate enough to call her daughter home over.

In Short in Matters Esoteric, Royal, and Familial sees Tom ascend to an unwanted throne in the wake of his father’s death. Meanwhile, Marco, Jackie, and Janna return to their lives and have to deal with the surreal nature of courting the life of being child soldiers, as well as the romance which comes from camaraderie in battle. (Marco comes to terms with her gender identity in this one.)

The Septarsian Serpent shows what happens when teens who are supposed to save the world instead fall in love. Toffee makes his move, and it is not pretty. (Tom and Marco have a developing relationship in this one.)

1) Chris/Thara: "Can I Have This Dance?" by Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudges; they’d have a waltz on the dance floor to that song

Jake/Meredith: "Hold Me” by Fleetwood Mac; The newlyweds can through on a performance with Meredith and Jake on guitar and drums respectively playing along to it

2) I would say it was primarily Jake who got abducted from his school during recess and then held up for ransom money by some mafia goons. In particular, since Jake is connected to billionaire Bruce Wayne via being the son of the adopted Richard Grayson-Wayne, the hostage takers demanded a payment up to $2 billion if Bruce and Dick are to see Jake unharmed. Thankfully for the Bats and Jake’s loved ones, these crooks weren’t particularly too technologically savvy so it’s was real easy for Cyborg to take down their locations via their internet signals and within the two hour mark after they post up their demands, Robin!Tim, Chris and Mar’i all came to Jake’s rescue, utterly curb-stomping the crooks. Still Jake was deeply embarrassed by this situation and vows to be extra careful next he ventures out of the school boundaries during recess.

3) Hmmm….I can probably see some of the street gang punk friends of Kryptonian Phantom Zone Prisoner and enemy of the House of Zod , Vla-Bol, all assemble around their ringleader after he tells them of his recent defeat at the hands of Chris. This Gang of Four can then sneak into General Zod’s base of Fort Rozz, hijack some of those Zone crossing pods many of the Fort’s residents including Chris long ago use to travel to Earth, and invade the planet themselves, going a mini rampage in Hamilton County to get Chris’ attention and start up a massive brawl, Chris trying desperately to lead said brawl away from the town and into areas worldwide where no one else can get hurt. It was a tough battle with him on the ropes many times but Jake’s, Penny Troy’s and the rest of the StarKnights’ timely arrival helped turned the tide long enough for Chris to borrow his Dad Clark’s Phantom Projector and send these Kryptonian street punks back to the Zone where they came.

4) I can see Chris mainly going for Jake’s ticklish spots while Jake would try making Chris laugh as hard as he can with some intentional slapstick and doing a small stand up routine filled with puns and other jokes his Uncle Gar taught him. It’s not even a real contest; Chris gets Jake to squirt out his grape soda not just out of mouth but also his nose.

5) Hmm….Okay so at least in this version or at least for a possible version that satisfies both Kid!Jon fans and fans of those two; I’d have them being raised by Mon El, Clark’s Daxamite de facto brother, after having to rescue them from the tyrannical clutches of Mongul during a mission at WarWorld.

As for their bond with the StarKnights and the Tomorrow Titans, I can see Osul being close with Chris, almost brotherly bond between them while also having something of a kinship with Robbie Long, something one can see being mirroring the bond Clark and Diana have. As for Otho, She’s no doubt part of a lot of friend group formed by Mar’i, Lian and Irey, an honorary member of that little Tenacious Trio and their shenanigans.

One thing is perfectly clear though; Besides Mon El, Osul and Otha are both very close to Chris and Jon as per usual.

1) I can see Chris being a Water bender as his personality undergoes a positive change that flows with the currents of life as it has been for the last half a decade. Meanwhile, because of his free spirited attitude and joyful outlook on life in spite of any sort of hardships he can come across and his value on all life, Jake can be an Airbender.

2) This is a relatively easy question for them, so easy they wind up making three to five page essays about their superpowers they choose regarding their benefits, uses, and many other coolness factors in demonstrating how much they love it, especially power they actually legit have unbeknownst to their teachers. Chris can pick Flight while Jake selects Enhanced Strength.

3) Chris: No more Shampoo or Hair Dye pranks on Conner….though Perfume Pranks are Still on the Table

Jake: Not to blame himself for cases, whether in school or especially as as superhero, when things go wrong bits it’s not his faulty ultimately. Also, being less nervous around Meredith when they hang out

4) That’s very much the case though as with any wrestling match, it’s far from an easy battle. Especially for Chris as almost the vets second the bell rings, since it was every man for themselves, almost all the others rushed to try getting Chris right out of the ring, only being stopped once Jake started going after Bobby and Irey. From there, one by one, the competitors fell out of the ring until finally it was between Chris and Mar’i. Jake offered to help from outside but Chris adamantly tells him to not interfere, ultimately coming out on top via Mar’i missing her aim with a super kick

5) Chris;

- He got Lois and Clark brand new notebooks, pens, a Diamond ring for Lois and new glasses for Clark

- Conner got a brand new leather jacket with some Bi Flag patches and saying stitched on the back on top of his S Shield, “Family Matters, They’re S Tier”

- Kara was given a brand new small jacket for Streaky which has colors that match her hero outfit and a new shiny red cape

- Finally but certainly not least, Jon was given a brand new chemistry set complete with a lab coat, gloves and goggles for any fun safe experiments he can conduct

Jake;

- For Dick, Jake manages to track down entire textbooks about circus history and also some Robin Hood

- Kory received a photo album comprised of the happier memories she has with her parents, Galfore, Kom, Ry, and her Planet

- He also gave Mar’i a brand new blanket he sewed along with Alfred. It’s a thick Cotton cloth with Pink threads and imprinted with blue and white stars

- Finally for his beloved Uncle Tim(my) Drake, a rare Five Foot Tall Crocky Plushie, cause he knows his beloved Uncle basically worships that Dancing alligator without any doubt

6) Chris aids Martha and Kara in the kitchen for preparing the dinner, being in charge of the side dishes including mashed potatoes and steaming the vegetables while also prepping the table for the whole family to sit down once it’s all ready

Then there’s Jake who helps place all the decorations on both the Christmas tree and all throughout the apartment, following Dick’s instructions on where everything should go just case they want to spice it up from last year. He does so while Kory and Mar’i handle other parts of the place. On Christmas Day itself, Jake also handles the music

1) While on the whole the two are respected quite well and even have some popularity at their respective schools, even now and then, especially in their earlier elementary school days, they would get picked on by some bullies for their little quirks as pertained by their origin points. Sure when in the field as heroes they can get intense scrutiny and even some bigotry based on their alien and technically mutant trait, it’s not really a thing that truly affects them as they’ve faced it beforehand and it really doesn’t matter as much as their real angsts in life

2) Oh my beyond doubt it was Kon and Jon to an extent that introduced the Duo to Dragon Ball, mainly after Jon got a manga volume of the original series when he was shopping for Naruto ones. Chris was interested in it so Jon went ahead to get it for his big brother and shortly then Jake looked up the original series online and once the two were able to sit and watch the series from there, the Duo’s fandom began in earnest.

3) Initiation comes with first proving yourself a trustworthy, reliable and honest type of hero that wants to hang out with them, basically earning their friendship which isn’t too hard. Honestly, both teams aren’t necessarily strict nor they ever relied on tests or the like unless the newest recruit requests them. That being said if you wanna be a true permanent member a lot faster for the StarKnights in particular, you are dared to spend a day wearing a blue and pink tutu and later last through eating there entire bowls of Brussels sprouts.

4) At first Chris and Jake were genuinely enthusiastic as the look of the show and the effects promised something that would be faithful in its own way to the show that started it all. Overtime though with each new announcement made to change the story and character details which are true deviations from the source material, that enthusiasm quickly gave way to caution and weariness. They can only hope it’s not as bad as that live action movie which was the first attempt at adapting that show.

5) I picture Chris having redwood hardwood floors couple with orange carpets and rugs laid out all over, his Queen sized bed next to the window, two glass sliding doors for his closet, a small two shelves dresser next to said bed, drawers and cabinets on the opposite side of the bed which on top of one is his TV and video game consoles, his action figures, and even a Straight Ally flag. At one empty corner would be his electric Bass Guitar and inside the closet and dresser are his comic books. Finally in the bed itself, he has a grey and white comforter which is topped by his favorite Sky Blue Blanket with an S Shield on it.

6) Well, for Jasper Logan in particular since he’s an OC created by an old mutual of mine and a fan art, this link here should help you get a visual on what he looks like

Otherwise, fudging with the ages a bit, the StarKnights and the Titans of Tomorrow have their physical appearances based on canonical forms. Only tiny change I can think of being for Irey and Jai having Dark Yellow and Lime Green respectively as part of their super suits to help distinguish them.

1) While Robbie and Jake can have numerous disagreements and differences in how they approach their roles as second in commands in their respective teams, the one with the most truly any beef with the Duo despite being otherwise Cordial will probably be Tula II who disagrees the most with Chris and it’s really not to much at all. It’s mainly about who’s the strongest between them and who’s the strongest and best between their Dads.

2) The Titans of Tomorrow were Formed about six months to a year before Team StarKnights came together to fend off Brianiacs invasion. At least in official capacities as the many members of both teams have been friends for much longer and even had team ups between them prior to the teams being established.

3) It’ll go like the following: Two Up Highs, Three Down Lows, Three Side To Sides, Up and Down Fistbumps and finally Arm Drag Side Hug

4) Robbie and Tula II are often seen being the closest of friends together with the latter sharing her Atlantean culture and customs to the former as he in turn is very fascinated whenever her brother Cerdian and her take his family to Atlantis. He likes to take so many pictures

As for the StarKnights, Cerdian and Jasper are often quite complimentary with each other in many ways they interact and share about their family lives and experiences. Jasper is very curious about what Vegetarian dishes are available in the seven seasons to which Cerdian is all too happy to share with if he’s up to it. All that said, Jai too gets along very well with Jake akin to how close their Dads are to each other

5) Hmmmm…

- When it comes to Twister at slumber parties, it’s an often very close contest between Mar’i and Lian, only the former wins out because of Lian finally unable to withstand the pain

- Irey and Mar’i both cannot stand Lian’s Chili recipe, no matter how hard they try to hold in that heat and spice. The thing is, she based it on her Grandpa Ollie’s which already has a (in)famous reputation even with Justice Leaguers. Hers in turn is spicier so if anything, it’s even worse

- As Mar’i was looking through options and scenarios she’ll need to upgrade her suit for extreme weather conditions due to her human half holding back her durability in comparison to her mother, She consults with Lian and Irey who are no strangers to outfit variants for suggestions on how they can practical while also maintaining her bright colors even in stealth situations.

- Mar’i and Irey made a bet for who can travel around the entire planet at their maximum speed (Flight or Running) and after a few laps, they came close to accidentally causing the Earth’s rotation to go backwards which would’ve sent everything planetside back in time. They both got grounded for two days after that and from then on, reduced their speeds to make sure that doesn’t happen

- Lian is a fan of the Kate Bishop Hawkeye (Marvel exists in the DCU as comics, shows and movies) and has often thought in what’ll be mine if she gets to meet her fave to face one day

Does the titans of tomorrow & team starknights likes to check out the behind while looking at themselves in the mirror, or at least when they are older teens/adults?

They’d do so far more frequently as adults though even then in a more cursory glance I’d say they have an important meeting to attend to and they need to make they sure they look their best

Looks and handsomeness aren’t usually that much of a concern overall for these heroes

Edit: Now that I read in full…..that’s a BIG maybe as adults

It really depends if say they get compliments or any other remarks about said behinds

- Skybird (Jake Grayson, age 10, son and youngest child of Dick Grayson and Koriand’r)

2: speaking of flashpoint, due to the flash creating it, (based in my knowledge) almost everybody’s personality & team has changed, how would the duo’s personality & squad mates change?

3: do you know in-universe there are comics & shows & stuff inside the dc universe with like fake names, what would be the in-universe names for them? Like in one of the teen titans books with the young justice group, there was a flashback of Superman having the name of dirk dirkman (last time I checked)

1) Basically I would describe my universe here as a Blend of Pre Flashpoint Prime Earth, Rebirth, tiny dashes of Infinite Frontier/Dawn of DC, all with a nice hefty input of both the Teen Titans Animated Series Canon and DCAU/Timmverse.

If it were to have a designation in the Multiverse, I would have it be Earth-4080

2) In the event of this Earth going through a Flashpoint style reboot…very little would change in terms of Chris and Jake’s personalities, tastes and closeness as friends. That said what would change is Chris’ arrival to Earth and in particular the timing of it. Instead of arriving at six years old and growing up under the care of the Kents, developing a bond with the younger Jon as brothers in that time, he can instead arrive at the age of 12, having lived under Zod’s custody for longer (maybe suffering a but more by his hands…sorry Chris) and instead of Clark by himself who lands him safely in Metropolis, the latter would be accompanied by Grayson-And’r family in the heart of Bludhaven instead.

They barely have enough time to allow Chris into Lois and Clark’s care and for him to officially meet Jake before then the rift in the Phantom Zone truly tears up, allowing Zod and his armies to invade Earth. From here, similarly Zod is defeated and sent back to the Zone and after also trying to run away out of fear of rejection and feeling at fault for this invasion for the month, Chris does realize he’s accepted by these people he’d just met with Clark finally filling out the adoption forms to accept Chris into his household.

Similarly, The first ever time Chris and Jake team up would be altered as well; Jake gets captured in his civilian identity by the Court of Owls who’d have some ex Cadmus scientists in their employ to start creating clones of him, breeding a small army of Tamaranean Talons they hope to control to further their agendas while Talonizing Jake in the process. Chris is the one to help discover what happened to his friend in the midst of the investigations. As he leads both the Grayson family and Jon to the Owl’s location, while they’re too late to stop them from extracting samples (I.e. Blood, sweat, tears and saliva samples) from Jake for their cloning process, they are successfully able to stop them from forcibly injecting him with Electrum and brainwashing him. It’s not an easy fight though as the older Talons are summoned to stop them, some with Kryptonite blades to match the Kryptonians. In the middle of the battle, Jake finds himself back to back with Chris as they’re cornered by Talons, desperately trying to fend them off. There, they can see Mar’i and Jon pinned down by bigger sized Talons with their blades right on their throats, poised to strike the final blow. Their sibling instincts kicking into full overdrive, the two steam roll and plow their way through the undead assassins, saving their sister and brother respectively and turning the tide of the battle thanks to their powers and skills either combing for dual moves or pulling each other out of tight spots and taking down Talons one by one. Eventually, the Kent brothers and the Graysons knockout the last Talon cold, making the Owls flee and their base now deserted. Cue an emotional hug from Jake to his family in light of this terrifying experience, more thankful his family are okay than himself.

After that particular misadventure the next time they meet up, Chris and Jake realize the potential they have when working together, Jake also being incredibly thankful for Chris being the one to find him first in his rescue. From their their friendship grows and they decide on being a regular team with each other

Hence here, the rebooted version of the Starburst Duo was born.

I’m Officially now dubbing this rebooted version of my canon Earth-8403 cause why the heck not lol

3) Had the Duo gotten an adaptation of their adventures in universe for an animated Saturday morning show or whichever, They were probably would be called The Twilight Warriors, starring GhostBeak and CloudParrot. Chris and Jake themselves aren’t exactly too fond of those names for their adapted counterparts BUT since the writers ask them for advice and consulting for their adventures they can utilize for episodes, it’s very appreciated by them.

4) Chris pretty much witnesses his first tastes of bullying upon first enrolling as a new ‘transfer student’ to Jon’s school, at first looked upon with suspicion and weary looks from some of the other boys in his second grade class due to his then stilted English and his tendency to keep his distance from everybody except his adoptive brother Jon

As for Jake, the bullying was mainly brought up when first ever attending Bludhaven Academy for First Grade. Mainly it was through proxy as the real target of the bullies back then was his big sister because of her more obvious Tamaranean features. Over time though as Jake begin to bring over lunches with a Tamaranean flare to them as well as sometimes mumble his Romanes Chib and Tamaranean when tired, he too started getting unwanted attention from everyone for his heritage. Though it can be both of the Graysons really first started getting bullying on them when first going into first grade if anything because of their Dad Dick being circus folk and given Bludhaven and Gotham’s history with clowns, they made for easy targets for said bullies.

5) In terms of power level and physical strength, it’s a tie between Chris and Robbie for the strongest while solely Lian is the weakest if only because of her being the sole purebred human. As for their master planners that draw out both Teams’ contingency plans, Mar’i and Jake equally share that role as they’ve been taught by Bruce well. Though he does allow them to share their plans with their friends since Bruce knows the consequences of keeping said plans in complete secrecy against his own friends and he doesn’t want his grandkids going through the same

6) Apologies my friend but Chris and Jake are not doing any of that whatsoever as kids. Both of them might cancel each other’s brain cells when next to each other but they both know much better that any booty shaking is something mainly grown ups do which is a dance meant for them when they get naughty. They’re clean like that. Again my apologies

Anyways, on with the show

1) Those debates can be fun to watch and consider but the Duo know that it’s better to appreciate the heroes involved in said debates for what they are as people/characters rather than take it all too seriously and to the point of zealotry and fanaticism as they’ve seen online too many times.

2) The public mistaking Chris as a junior Nightwing and a literal son of the Dick Grayson one via the two splitting the mantle evenly is one common misconception the two have seen time and time again. Also, being called biological brothers, Jake getting confused as a de aged Dick Grayson and being mixed up with Robin and Superboy from YJ just smaller and with differing colors are all also commonplace on newspaper tabloids and magazines.

3) I bet they would, mainly used for special occasions including parties for their friends and relatives taking place at their base. Jake is the one answering the door and The password would be ‘Crusader-Landing-Azule’

4) Star Titans is ideal and common enough to work well with them. It’s short, sweet and to the point. Though in full it’ll be The StarBurst Titans of Tomorrow, as a nice combination of their respective names.

5) On a scale of 1 - 10, with 1 being barely any sort of tingle and 10 being guaranteed of very loud laughter and thrashing around if not being held still….

Maybe at a later point in time, the Duo would also have an ally and friend from outside the DC multiverse or even it’s dimension….like maybe from a completely different dimension (coded for franchise) in a future crossover *hint**hint*

And oh yeah, Jon too is a frequent help for both teams whenever the help is needed, akin to how Supergirl is a big help to the Legion of Superheroes if need be

7) Both teams have de facto as opposed to officially stated leadership but often times Mar’i and Bobby share having control of the Titans of Tomorrow. The both of them inherited their respective parents’ leadership skills but Bobby a tad bit moreso from Donna and even his Grand Aunt Diana

As for the StarKnights, Chris more or less makes the most prominent decisions of them all, with both Jake and Cerdian being second in commands to him.
