DCxDP fanfic idea: Ecto-Specialist

Danny Fenton gets sent by his parents as a Fenton Ecto-Specialist at the request of the Justice League. They would have gone themselves, but unfortunately, every other Fenton had come down with the flu.

Danny was happy about his ghost immune system because this meant he could present Ghosts in a much more favorable light. He left behind all his parents' weapon blueprints and research reports.

He switched them out with his PowerPoint, ghost notes, and interviews he managed to obtain from the friendlier spiris. He arrived to the Hall of Justice, was given a special access pass and was told to set up in a board room.

He nervously plugged everything in, smooth down his suit, and practiced his speech. He's given presentations before, but they have always been school assignments. It was still nerve-wracking, but at least everyone else had to give the exact same topic for the same five to six minutes requirement.

Here, he was going to speak before some of the best heroes of the world to convince them that ghosts were sentiment. To prove they should have rights.

No pressure.

"Hello, I'm Danny Fenton. I'm going to speak about Ecto-beings and their vast culture within the Infinite Realms, " He says to the empty chairs. He pauses for a moment before, as if though he was gathering the attention of a audience before pressing the clicker abd watching his slide move.

"What are Ecto-beings?" He makes a gesture, that he once saw Tim Drake do on TV. It was a smooth wrist roll that he thought look sophisticated. "They can come in all shapes and sizes. Some are naturally formed from their environment, others are born to Ecto-beings and a few or deceased spirits. But they all share a core build from ectoplasm. That's what classifieds them as-"

"Maybe start but explaining what ectoplasm is" a voice cuts him off. Danny is not proud of the high pitch scream that releases from his throat. He is even less proud that he jumps so badly, he ends up tripping over his feet and falling over.

Bell-like laughter, fills the air, and Danny swings his head to the doorway only to further choke on his spit. Standing there looking like a Greek god is Tim Drake.

The very person he was attempting to imitate.

"Are you the Fenton Works representative?" Drake asks, strutting in with a wink. "I'm here on Wayne Enterprises behalf. We may be doing a joint charity effort for Ecto-beings rights. I'm Timothy Drake. And you?"

"I ugh, I'm Danny. Ugh- Danny Fenton. My parents own Fenton Works." He scrambles to his feet, flushing dark red when Drake smiles. "I'm presenting today. I was um practicing?"

"You're doing great" Drake assures. "Just remember to not stand in front of the screen. You want people to ready your bullet points."

"Oh." Danny drags his podium over. He cringes when he realizes that causes it yo scrap against the floor, leaving two long lines.

Drake's grin widens. "It has wheels. You just press the little lever on the right"

Danny wants to die "right. Sorry"

"Nothing a wax machine can't fix." Drake tilts his head, studying his face before asking,"Want to get a quick coffee to calm your nerves? They sell a great brand in the cafeteria"

Danny rubs his hands "Coffee makes me more nervous but thank you"

Drake's smile flatters before it switches back. "Icecream then?"

"No thank you. I run cold naturally and ice cream makes it worse"

".....how about afterwards? We could go watch a moive? Dinner?"

"I would, but I'm supposed to stay in the hotel my parents rented for me. They'll know if I'm not."

The other teen nods and looks a bit disappointed. "Alright, you can't blame a guy for trying . Well, good luck with your practice. I'll be back in an hour for the presentation."

Dannybwaves goodbye, trying to slow his fluttering heart rate. He just spoke to Tim Drake! He can't wait to text Sam and Tucker.

It's only after re-running the presentation once, about thirty minutes later, that Danny jolts in place "HE WAS ASKING ME OUT?!"

"Who was?"

For the second time that day, Danny released a high pitch scream. It's much worse to find Wonder Woman fighting a amused smile standing in the doorway instead of a Teenage Hearttob.

He hasn't even started. Maybe he should have fake being sick, too.

can we as murder accept that Ken is one of the best male characters we could have asked for to show the effects of male toxicity. (Spoilers for the moive under)

Ken is introduced by the sentence " Only happy when Barbie acknowledges him" Which gives us a look into his vision of love especially near the end. Constant love and adoration. You must be one person with your partner. From what I've seen, some have harder times with having things that are outside their partner.

and Ken has this problem clear Infront frame for us to see.

His fall into being into all the dude bro stuff reminds me of how teens who are frustrated get into this hating women mind set.

He's vulnerable, he's upset that Barbie won't love him the way he loves her. And so he uses this method in order to feel some sort of power. Something!

And I love the use of buzz words the Ken's throw around it's funny as hell and reminds me toxic shit all the time.

But this movie reminds you that this issues are deep rooted and we can't uproot it just yet. Infact the joke of saying how the Ken's will be treated like woman in the real world reminds you of that.

We as a world are trying to get better with having women be in powerful positions. But it's a deep rooted issue that we can't uproot or someone is gonna get upset. I'm not saying it won't/can't happen to where women and men are actually treated the same. But it's gonna be a while and alot of fighting

I'm sure if you read me you probably read the source material, such as Jojo with the canon yandere's and Obey me with possessive traits being canonically attractive in the devildom, and so on and so forth.

Count of Monte Cristo by Alexander Dumas has a yandere character go after the main character's wife— literally imprisoning the main character during his wedding, and spending the next five years seducing his wife to love him instead, and fabricating the main character's death certificate from the prison he was sent to.

The phantom of the opera is actually based off a book! And it’s fantastic! I’m sure everyone knows of this story by now from the musicals and moives, but the original book is much darker.

R.L Stein used to write for teen audiences before Goosebumps became his big thing, he wrote horror aimed at older teens and young adults. One such example is the script for Eye Candy! Eye Candy is a TV show about a super conventionally attractive girl putting up online that she's looking for a boyfriend, and getting herself a harem of guys online. It's all going great until one of them finds her house and starts sending letters threatening her, saying that if she ever says no to him he'll fuck her up. It got cancelled before it got an ending, so there's a massive cliffhanger, but it is so good!

There are more things out there I'm sure, but these are my favourites :)

Because now looking at moive!Miguel, I can’t image him as a hard 30-40 year old who seen the horrors™️ and has trauma™️ I only see this stupid loser as a cringefail dude who also has trauma™️.

27 year old Miguel is both super responsible but immature. The teens annoying him, he immediately tell them to kys. The teens would beg him to drive them to the future malls or to like buy some (future) McDonald’s. SaltBurn (2023) Dir. Emerald Fennell

I watched this movie high and drunk on New Year, and I think it added to it the wried factor that the flim proudly wants to see as. Thought a month after watching and being able to actully sit on what the movie was trying to say, as well as all the discouse that came with it, i would have to say it only an ok movie. I did like how he movie look and many of the actor gave good performace, but like other then, it felt like the movie never went far enogh with it idea it wanted to present and more or less felt like it was following the trend of eat the rich movie rather then actully haveing anything to say about the ideas of wealth. And beacuse of that muddling of themes the outrangeuose scenes that the movie dose present, they come off less like an exploration of themes and more like they got together and was like "Omg wouldn't it be crazy if x did that" 4/10 (also highly recomomed Yhara Zayd video on the movie, )

Tick Tick Boom(2021) Dir. Lin-Manuel Miranda

I rewatched this moive with friend and i still pretty good. Alot of the songs are really good especially the last, I think it the best one in the soundtrack. Not much else to say 7/10

Pokemon Concierge (2023)

This show was so cute. It was just something light that i would put on while eating breckfast before work. I mainly watch it for the anmation as I it by the same people who did the Rilakkuma and Kuora, which is another light sweet show I enjoyed! Over all, it very short sweet and cute! (6/10)

Better Call Saul (2015) S1

I really like breaking bad and as well as El Comino as think both are so good are exploreing the idea of manhood. But dispit me love both of those i've always put off watching better call saul, mostly because back when the frist season came out I hear it was only ok. After watching it I did think I was very intriguing but also kinda slow, which I kinda get why, it seem that there setting up alot for the later season, but I still found a bit of slog to get thought in comparsion to breaking bad. But i also really am interested in the ideas of justitce and the law which they seems to be setting up. Thought with the last episode of the seson I kinda just thought it was ok, like oh that it? I am looking forward to watching the other season but I am no real rush to watch it (7/10)

I'm trying to read more manga, and i saw people talk about this on tik tok and thought it was very cute and it was......ok? It was kinda cute?? I thought I would like it since it yuri but i think the harme part of it ruin it and relised i hate harme no matter what gender, which is more of me not liking a trope rather then there being actul anthing wrong with the manga. Over all it was fine, very cute art, i dont think it's for me (2/5)

The Bunker Diary by Kevin Brooks

Omg this fucking book. It been on my tbr for years and I read it in two session and thought it was very good dispit being a book aimed at like 14 year old and I say If i was 14 I would be traumatised by reading this. I like how dark the story was and how it wasn't afraid to hold back from any subject which I general do like in media aimed towards children and teens. I would recommend it if you want to read something easy while still being interesting (4/5)

Molly Ringwald type bullshit

Partly inspired by @bettercallmaul’s Eddissy edit with Ultimate by Lindsay Lohan, The song just reminded of how Eddie and Chrissy would be the perfect leads in a teen rom-com. Then, that thought made me think of what Finn said in a interview with the main cast.  Him being like  “Volume 1 is like 5 movies rolled into one. We have a stoner action comedy, we have like a Russian prison break moive, we have a Scooby doo meets Zodiac Killer storyline...and somehow it all works....”  

and now I'm sad that Chrissy is dead because we could’ve had a whole ass 80s John Hughes-que romance/Molly Ringwald sixteen candles or pretty in pink type of bullshit storyline and I WOULD HAVE LOVED EVERY DAMN SECOND OF IT. It would’ve been so damn cute and a lighter part of the season to uncut and or elevate the darker moments.  It would’ve also been so hilarious sandwiched in between everything else that is going wrong for these nice characters  (“the shire is burning.”) Like just  imagine that you’re just watching Hopper’s many intense attempts to break out of prison just to cut back to Eddie and Chrissy dancing around the subject of their blossoming feelings for each other, while being on the run from Jason & his goons and also trying to protect Chrissy from getting all her bones snapped by Vecna? And all of this taking over spring break before high school graduation....like WHAT in the name of John Hughes? 

All of the potential wasted....shoutout to @bettercallmaul for making me go into this spiral of what a “Chrissy lives” season would have been like and the amount of happiness and joy that was ripped away from me because of production issues and the Duffers’ inability to seeing/writing good romance.

Oohhh!! I love this theory!! I think it would be a good call out to how kids now a days spend too much time playing video games, being on the internet etc. I have no place to judge heaven knows how many hours I spent infront od the Tv watching Disney moives and Jurassic Park But I know that I also spent alot of time playing with my dolls/toys. My little cousin is 8 he got a tablet at 5 and this was his tablet with unlimited access to whatever. He got his playstation at 5 or 6 I can't quite remember and now he was a full gaming computer and set up. The thing is I find it kinda tragic that many kids aren't playing with or enjoying toys anymore. Toys really do fuel creativity and it's a shame that so many young kids are missing out on this. TBH I haven't seen either of those moives so I can't quite comment on them but I get the Vibe you're trying to convay and you're 100% right I feel like that's going to be a major plot point.

Where is the real me

Summary: Ever since quirks became the new normal the US decided to try to recreate some powers from the movies such as Marvel and DC. I happen to be one of those people that they recreated powers on. I was the lucky or unlucky one depending on how you look at it that got scarlet witch powers. I've was recently got accepted into UA college.

A/n: This is an aged up fic. The UA students will be college age. Since I decided to make this story a love triangle between the reader, bakugou and Dabi and since bakugou and the reader would be a early age teen in the original story I didn't want the FBI to be breaking down my door so aging them up was the way to go.

We were also given comms for our ears.  I followed the boys as we walked through the building to find the dummy bomb. “So what’s so special about an extra like you go get into UA?” Bakugou asked. I didn’t answer him which seemed to piss him off. “Hey I’m asking you a question extra.” Bakugou said. “My name is not extra. When you ask me nicely I will tell you.” I said. “Whatever I don’t care.” Bakugou said. I rolled my eyes as the three of us walked into the room that the dummy bomb was in.

“Even though this is training it pains me to be aligned with criminal behavior. So this is the weapon we must protect. Fake of course.” Tenya said. Of course it’s fake not like they would trust us with a real one. “Hey!” Bakugou said. This cause both Tenya and I to look over to him. “Do you really think Deku has a quirk?” Bakugou asked. “You saw how he threw that ball. Though I think his power hurts his body. Why is it that you seem to be especially angry when it comes to Midoriya?” Tenya said. I could feel that he was very angry and thought that Midoriya lied to him about having a quirk. “I don’t think that he lied to you.” I said. “How in the hell do you know what I was thinking!” Bakugou said as he turned to look at me. “One of my quirks is telepathy.” I said. “One of your quirks? How did an extra like you get multiple quirks?” Bakugou asked. “My name is not extra.” I said trying not to lose my temper. “How did you get multiple quirks Y/n?” Tenya asked. “I was experiment on when I was little.” I said. “Sure you were.” Bakugou said. “I really don’t care if you believe me or not. At least I’m not caught up in the past.” I said. “All right! Let’s begin the indoor combat training! Team A and Team D your time starts now!” All might yelled through the loud speakers.

“So what’s the plan you two?” I asked. “You two can handle guarding this thing.” Bakugou said as he started to walk out of the room. I motioned my hand and the door slammed shut. “What in the hell.” Bakugou said as he jumped back. “You are on this team with Tenya and I. So you should help and not try to use this as a reason you get even with Midoriya.” I said. Bakugou rolled his eyes and tried to open the door again but I slammed it back shut. “Will you stop that!” Bakugou said. “If Bakugou wants to go just let him Y/n.” Tenya said. “Fine.” I said letting Bakugou leave the room. It was a few minutes later an explosion could be hear and the building shook. “What in the hell was that?” I asked. “It was Bakugou.” Tenya said. “Do you trust me?” I asked. “I’m sorry?” Tenya asked. “Do you trust me?” I asked again. “Yes I trust you. Why would you ask me something like this?” Tenya asked. “Are you okay with guarding the weapon by yourself?” I asked. “What are you going to do?” Tenya asked. “I’m going to stop Bakugou from destroying the building.” I said. “You think you can stop him? I mean no offense by this but he seems a lot stronger that you.” Tenya said. “Yeah I do think I can stop him.” I said. “Alright please be safe.” Tenya said. I nodded and walked out of the room.

As I rush through the building to try to find Bakugou I could hear more explosions but these were small and sounded closer. So I knew I was close to finding him. I found him with Midoriya standing a few feet away facing him. Half of Midoriya’s masked was missing probably burned off from Bakugou earlier attack. “You’re shaking in your boots you’re so scared. But you wanna fight me anyway. That’s why I hate you!” Bakugou said. “Bakugo! Come in! Give me a status report. Where are you?” Tenya asked through the comms. “Just shut up and defend the weapon. I got more important things to worry about.” Bakugou said back. “Are you forgetting what our mission is? Hello? He hung up on me! This isn’t the time for radio silence. We’re supposed to be a team. Argh!” Tenya said. “Calm down Tenya I have my eyes on him.” I said. “At least your being helpful.” Tenya said. “Ah! Uraraka! Go!” Midoriya yelled. I could hear Ochako running away as I made a shield to protect me. “Ballsy move. Think you can take me alone?” Bakugou said. I looked to see that Midoriya was about to use the capture tape on Bakugou so I used my powers to started to control Midoriya movements and also pulled Bakugou closer to me. Both boys were very confused about what just happened. “What in the hell was that?” Bakugou asked as he got up from the ground. “A simple thank would be nice.” I said as I walked over to him. “I don’t need your help.” Bakugou said. At the same time Midoriya started to run off. “Get back here Deku!” Bakugou said as he chased after him. I let out a groan as I used my powers to start to levitate off the going after Bakugou. I landed in front of him. He had both a look of shock and anger. He grabbed me by the neck and shoved me against the wall. “How in hell did you get in front of me so fast?” Bakugou asked as he put an arm against my throat. “I already told you.” I said as I tried to get his arm off my throat. “And I told you that your story was bullshit.” Bakugou said as he put more pressure on my throat. I slammed my hand on his chest which sent him flying back against the wall. I started to cough as put my hands against my throat. Again Bakugou looked at me in shock as I ran off and away from Bakugou.

I keep running until I bumped into someone which sent me to the ground. “Oh sorry Y/n.” Midoriya said as he helped me up from the ground. “Thanks.” I said. “Woah what happened to your throat. Did Kacchan do that to you?” Midoriya said.  “I’m fine don’t worry about it. I might have flung him against a wall.” I said. “How did you do that?” Midoriya asked. “I’ll explain later.” I said. “Dammit! You were tricking me for years by acting weak. Bet you’ve been laughing behind my back huh? So where’s that flashy power of yours now?” Bakugou yelled. “Go.” I said pushing Midoriya. “What?” Midoriya asked confused. “I said go.” I said raising my arms as red energy came out from my hand lifting Midoriya up from the ground and I flung him away.  I started to run again and as I did I could hear more explosions.

Meanwhile in the viewing room

“That guy has some real anger issues. Kinda scary.” Denki Kaminari said.  “What about that girl she seems to be handling him fine on her own but it’s weird since their on the same team. She seems just as strong as he is maybe stronger. I can see why UA accepted her.” Eijiro Kirishima said. “She seems to have more than one quirk but they do seem to be controlled by that red energy.” Shoto Todoroki pointed out. “That’s because when she was little she was experimented on. She told me and Ochako before we started.” Tsu said. “That poor thing.” Mina Ashido said. “Her quirks seem so familiar I swear I’ve seen it somewhere before.” Denki said. “Yeah you’re right I’ve seen it somewhere too but it’s just not coming to me.” Kirishima said. “She told us that they recreated the powers from the movies but she didn’t tell us who.” Tsu said. 

Back to Y/n POV

I somehow ended up catching back up with Midoriya. “Sorry about flinging you away.” I said trying to catch my breath as I stood next to him. “It’s alright I get why you had to do it. Your quirk seems to be really strong. You might have a stronger quirk than Kacchan.” Midoriya said as he was trying to catch his breath too. “Quirks actually.” I said. “You have more than one?” Midoriya asked. “That’s what happens when you get experimented on when you were little.” I said. “What?” Midoriya asked. “Yeah I was experimented on when I was a kid. They wanted to recreate powers like in the super hero movies stuff like that. I was born quirkless so instead of having a quirkless kid my parent let me get experimented on.” I said. “That’s terrible.” Midoriya said. “Well it took a few years but they realized what they did was wrong.” I said. “Who did they recreate with you? Wait no. I’m sorry I shouldn’t have asked that.” Midoriya said which cause me to laugh a little. “It’s okay Midoriya I don’t mind that you ask me that. Scarlet Witch from the Marvel moives. I never really got much training to help control it. I got some but most of the training I got was from watching the movies and just copied what she did.” I said. “Well you seem to handle Kacchan enough and he being fighting most of his life.” Midoriya said. “Well he seems like a bully to me.” I said. “Well that too.” Midoriya said. I laughed a little.

“Stop hiding! Come out and face me you coward!” Bakugou yelled. “Maybe I should go find and calm him down.” I said. “I don’t think that would be a good idea. He might hurt you.” Midoriya said. “I wouldn’t get to close to him just close enough. Besides like you said I might be stronger than him.” I said. “But you said it yourself you barely have any training.” Midoriya said. “I’ll manage if we don’t do anything to calm him down he might try to bring this whole building down.” I said. “All might wouldn’t let him do that.” Midoriya said. “Someone will have to hold him off until All might could get here.” I said. Then Midoriya started to talk to Ochako through the comms.

I wasn’t paying attention to what they were saying since I started to use telepathy so I could hear when Bakugou was getting near us and he was. “Go.” I said. “What?” Midoriya asked. “Go get out of here he’s getting closer.” I said. Then I hear a bell like sound. Both Midoriya and I looked behind us to see Bakugou standing behind us. “I’m all loaded up.” Bakugou said as he raised his fist. “What does that mean?” Midoriya asked. “Why aren’t you using your fancy quirk? Don’t tell me you’re underestimating me Deku. Get over here and show me what you’re really made of. Then it’s me and you girl.” Bakugou said. “If you think I’m scared of you then you’re mistaken.” I said. “Kacchan. I’m not scared of you anymore.” Midoriya said. “Since you’re such a stalker by now you probably know how my quirks explosion works. I secrete nitroglycerin like sweat from my hands and make it blow up. Imagine what I could do if I had a lot of it. That’s right the gauntlets aren’t just for show. They’ve been storing up my sweat inside for one monster blast.” Bakugou said as he opened a small compartment from the gauntlets on his hands. It was too small to tell from where Midoriya and I were standing but if I had to guess I would say it probably was a pin since the gauntlets looked just like grenades. “Young Bakugou! Don’t do it! “You’ll kill them!” All might yelled through the loud speakers. “They’ll be fine as long as they dodges!” Bakugou yelled pulling the pin back. I quickly stood in front of Midoriya as I created a shield while as tried to keep the explosion and the damage contained. But I could still feel the strong winds start to push Midoriya and I back. I had some managed to stop the explosion but the strong wind sent Midoriya and I flying back into the room down the hall.

I hit the ground hard enough that the wind was taken out of me. “Come in! Come in Midoriya! Come in Y/n!” All might yelled. I let out a groan as I sat up. “Damn that really hurt.” I said. “Is that even allowed?” Midoriya asked. There was still a lot of smoke but other than that I really didn’t see any damage. I could hear Bakugou start to laugh as he came out of the smoke. “These are awesome. The more nitro sweat that’s stored in these gauntlets the stronger the explosion is. Go ahead. Use your stupid quirk on me Deku. Even if you give me everything you’ve got you’ll never beat me.” Bakugou said as he walked towards Midoriya.

Meanwhile in the viewing room

Everyone else in 1A watched in shock at the power that Y/n had. “That girl is seriously powerful.” Kirishima said. “She managed to make sure he didn’t cause any damage.” Tokoyami said. “You think she can take much more of this?” Denki asked. “Well she has lasted this long. She could probably stop him by herself if she wanted to. She had no problem flinging him into the wall.” Todoroki said. “Sir what are you going to do if he does that again?” Mina asked. They watched as Y/n got up from the ground saying something to Bakugou but they couldn’t hear exactly what. Bakugou had yelled something back. Which made Y/n glare at him making the red energy appear in her hands again.
