Edward's hands are their hands.

Responsibility is the strongest thread that kept these two tied to each other, back then. Reisz made sure to leave it clear on day one. Marrying me isn't you getting what you want. Marrying me is a punishment.

Which means that all his actions– whatever wrong he does, whatever person he haunts— is on their tab. This is not a matter of guilt or remorse: Reisz' own self-administered price to be paid for their whim is the permanent sense of responsibility over their... husband.

He, by all means, should have died. It would be the kind thing to do by their own (naive) beliefs and yet Reisz kept him alive on a (selfish) whim.

If he's breathing now it's only because they let him breathe.

If he gets blood on his hands, that's blood on their hands.

Reisz' hands failed them ever since they tried to commit suicide in that coffin.

Caving their skull in left a series of minor issues that made their life more difficult. Small things. Speaking. Reading. Writing, holding a pen. Buttoning and unbuttoning. Delicate lab work. Even opening jars stopped being an automatic action and became an active process. Reisz dropped things all the time– they couldn't trust their hands for a lot of things now. Nothing too bad, though! They swear. Nothing serious. Minor annoyances, that's all.

Edward's hands were burned.

It was true hell to move them at all after his darling dearest set fire to his life, yet he endured it. He agonisingly held tools to write letters upon letters and carve sculptures day and night as palliative care, desperately trying to retain a modicum of sanity while separated from his object of affection. He purposefully burned himself again, he endured it, and the pain helped him through it. After shedding skin twice, the scars remain, although not as stiff as they used to be. They don't get in the way of his life at all.

Reisz doesn't ever ask for help in London– after becoming a POSI, they started to concern themself with reputation. They don't want to be seen as weak, or rather, they don't want people to learn their weaknesses. It feels inadequate.

Well, Parabola isn't London. They reach a point where all the minor difficulties add up. One day Reisz dreams of the Orphanage, their unconscious taking them to their responsibility extended, they see this man they're keeping tabs on, grinning, all but glowing just by being near them, and they are so exhausted they give up, they make use of him.

It makes him so happy. Even when he tried not to smile they could still see the false-joy in his eyes. This is far from a punishment, but isn't that sort of thing part of being loved? Isn't this the make-believe they wanted to experience in the first place? It's fine. No one else is here to see. He's seeing it, but he's cut off from London so it doesn't matter. A couple weeks into this marriage and Reisz starts to slowly but surely favour their own comfort.

Death Note Series Watch AU

Its that time of the year again when i think about death note series watch fic.

We don't need to use all characters because then reactions just get too much to keep track of. So, our lucky winner is L! He gets the anime in mail and embarks on a journey of enlightenment (pun fully intended).

And why stop at the anime? He gets the manga, the tv series, the musicals too in mail!

it's terrifying to know L could die soon, and that he takes Watari along with him. But since there are so many adaptations of the same story, L thinks the future is malleable. He can change it however he likes. It also, ofc, depends on the AU he is in. Is he in anime-verse? manga-verse? Certainly not TV series, live action or musical verse because L does not look anything like those actors.

L is curious, then scared, and terrified, and most of all fascinated. Because—

There's a person out there in the world who is his match. Who thinks along lines same as him. Who sees him and understands him. Who, even when he sees and has been under all of L's terribleness, respects him.

If there was ever something like soulmates in this world, then L is sure Light Yagami is his.

Sure, this said 'soulmate' of L's also ends up killing him. But L can prevent it this time around and get this person all for himself. L has all the time and resources to do just that.

Good news: got some writing done

Saint Georgios works well with all dragonslayers, but both Kriemhild and Beowulf synergize exceptionally well since Georgios' kit screams endless taunt guard.

He just works even better with Kriemhild since both their NPs are arts. Then again, one AOE crit or NP and it's all over for her. It's why I'm a degenerate and send her with two Caster Artorias for free NP regeneration with that arts' invulnerability skill. Just make Krimehild taunt herself, give that invulnerability, and so long as there's no invulnerability pierce on the enemy, everything chaotic and draconic is slain.

And now I remember that both Kriemhild and Siegfried have no evade or invulnerability skill...guess the master is left with protecting both their reckless asses through both mystic codes and strategies, aren't they?

The downside of of being a Berserker: practically everything (save for Shielder) is out to kill you 😔 (unless your name is Heracles).

If I wasn't so dead-set on using class advantage 99% of the time, I would try out Georgios + Siegfried/Sigurd/Sieg/Beowulf (and eventually Kriem) + whatever support. I should probably at least start trying to test that when I'm doing some free missions. 🤔 The only bad news is that only four of my mystic codes are actually maxed out, and I'm the kind of stubborn bitch that'll level one of those at a time.

Kriemhild may loathe reckless individuals, but the fact that she's kinda reckless herself if funnily hypocritical. And Master now understands how some of the support Servants feel, making sure that these two stay alive.
