I'm finishing reading the third chapter of Tuesday's Child and I really liked the new illustrations! Tuesday's rosy cheeks, bare knees… I'm not okay--- Not to mention the incredible dialogues, it's so immersive, I always get a few laughs with them ❤ I was surprised how long these three chapters were (or maybe I'm just a slow reader), looking forward to more!

hi!! 💕 okay for a general director's cut: in put money on a good bet, Bradley and Jake actually have each other's location LOL – so when Jake kinda bolts for a night, Bradley knows exactly where he is.

Which is why it means so much that he doesn't go chase after him! It's them, recognizing the warning signs in each other, Bradley worried and stressed as shit but knowing something must've gotten Jake all twisted in knots and giving him the space. Also Jake's' like - 15 min away in a motel by the roadside, he's truly NOT far.

I feel like people got mad at Jake in this one but he loves Bradley so much he's terrified of it, which is what he doesn't know how to convey. Pre-wedding jitters!! Pre-wedding fears!! it's okay, they get to the end and Jake is like yeah I'm gnna die by his side, casual.

🕯️ ⇢ on a scale from 1 to 10, how much do you enjoy editing? why is that?

Overall... 8/10. It's so satisfying to find those little tweaks to take something from mediocre to good or from good to great and to make a story or chapter cohesive. The parts I dislike are when something is not clicking and I feel stuck, and the fact that editing is basically the last thing between me and posting. When I'm dying to post, it can feel like a chore. Generally I really enjoy it, though!

📚 ⇢ what's the last thing you wrote down in your notes app?

A comment I was writing for another fic after I read said fic on an airplane! The note before that one was some Ta'av/Gortash bickering from the best of you belongs to me.

🏜️ ⇢ what's your favourite type of comment to receive on your work?

Well - I truly mean it when I say any comment indicating you enjoyed it is a great comment. But it's probably a tie between the gut reaction, emotional response (e.g., the all caps yelling at me for inflicting emotional damage, "OH MY GOD" or "gnashing my teeth and barking" on smut, etc.) and the play-by-play, where a commenter notes their favorite lines or reactions as they go through the story. (But really, it's hard to go wrong! Knowing a real person read something I wrote and enjoyed it is wonderful!)

OH! 👀 the last time.. I feel like it had to be something with tumblr, because the jokes here are 🤌 But also few days ago I saw a pigeon with a bread necklace and it cracked me up so much 😂 sometimes such simple things bring so much joy 🥹😂

Thank you so much! 💕 We're all starting to do better after this rough week of illness, and today I am thankfully starting to feel better (yesterday was awful). We spent the first half of January ill with Flu B and the last half ill with RSV. Toddlers in preschool bringing germs home is no joke 😭

AHH!! YES! DO IT!! I'm still trying to finish my rewatch, I have one and a half episodes left and I know what's about to happen, but I never finished S7 when it aired because I was busy and the ending was ruined before I could. When I heard what happened to Jax I was like NOPE! DIDN'T HAPPEN. So I never finished it. I've tried to rewatch it a few times over the years and I always get too sad and I can't, but I'm determined this time! And I know that once I watch that final episode, I'll go right back to S1E1 for comfort to prove that Jax is totally okay. BECAUSE HE'S FINE. And then I'll write more Jax fics to feel better...

💚 what does everyone get wrong about your favorite character? there's a lot to say about Riza but I'm getting tired so I'll keep it short - we do a huge disservice to her by reducing her to "girlboss"/team mom/etc". There's a pattern to these answers lol

💖 what is your biggest unpopular opinion about the series? probably not that unpopular and I love an angsty ending as much as anyone but I think the whole idea of royai being executed after reaching their goals is antithetical to the story's entire message about having to live with the sins of your past to become a better person + trusting the people around you to keep you accountable and make a better world (I'd like to think that post promised day they both kinda realize that their desire for self-sacrifice is at its core self-gratifying and that they can do more for the people alive 🤷‍♀️)

Ooooh there are many! I’m so proud of Ilimbë. But I think it’s got to be the kiss:

8: Did any real people or events inspire any part of it?

The genesis of Ilimbë was my thoughts on parenthood, and motherhood, and my evergreen fascination with Maedhros’ mother-name and what it said about Nerdanel. I think some of my thoughts on my own relationship with my mother came through here, although she is a significantly better (and better-adjusted) mother than this version of Nerdanel is going to be.

Ohhhh so there hasn’t been any scenes that have felt hard to write yet 🤔 but the first pass at the Daniel offering Louis his blood scene (when the blood delivery was late) did end with Louis accepting before we tweaked it so Louis said no, which worked better.
