here’s where the crossover comes in LMFAO noel and talia were acquainted with each other through micah and thea who used be inseparably close. but they eventually became friends since talia has a passion for racing (or basically any extreme sport that gives her an adrenaline rush) and noel is the biggest mario kart enjoyer. they bonded over that and babysitting their little siblings.

despite micah and thea growing apart, noel and talia kept in touch for as long as they could until life got in the way and they both got really busy. but i imagine they’re still friends <3

talia’s boyfriend (to-be) is named roman. thea’s ex-boyfriend is also named roman. — “i guess it’s a sister thing, huh, ate?” “shut up, thea.”

noel always kicks thea’s ass in mario kart so thea asks roman (circuit) for tips: “i know it’s just a game but you know a lot about racing so…” and talia just stares at them like “umm ??? SO DO I”

roman teases talia like “a lot of the things you know about racing, i taught them to you” and she just tells him to shut up so he steals a kiss on her cheek before turning back to thea: “so what do you need to know?”

talia pretends to be annoyed but it really makes her heart swell seeing her sister and her boyfriend getting along <3

hmmm I'm not the most social media savvy person tbh so I dunno where has the most exposure, if that's what you're going for 😅

For me I would try to post where the format goes the best with your layout so it's the most convenient for readers. For instance if you look at a lot of shencomix stuff, he's got a lot of square paneling that works well for Instagram. I abandoned insta cuz I don't do square comics most of the time and it will cut off my pages.

I personally like to scroll and read, so I post my page-by-page comics one after the other so you don't have to click on it to zoom in and read. Even though sometimes that looks a lil weird too, since they're best left to right.

Scrolling-style comics are best on smth like webtoons which his built for that. There's no "seam" and it doesn't show a lower quality preview like tumblr does if your file is huge.

I chose tumblr cuz it's kind of my compromise between wanting to do a lot of different layouts. Also I grew up on this site in my fandom/rp days haha

It still makes me sad when I try to do 3 panels in a row and they end up looking tiny 😔

hello!!!! i am. actually…. would you guys murder me if i said i didn’t think about rosekiller like all that often….. when i do think about them it’s normally prompted by things that saints @foursaints (lord and saviour of the rosekillers) posts. but. just for you, my dearest futurequibblerjournalist, i’ve been racking my brain for some vaguely interesting things to say. so:

to start off, in terms of characterisations, in my mind, barty is a ‘worshipper’ and evan is an ‘investigator’ if that makes sense - like my barty (and again this is heavily influenced by my whole barty michelangelo variant thing which i never shut up about) is someone who will completely offer himself up to, in this case, evan, like he’s trying to get under evan’s skin both idiomatically and literally, there’s this whole kinda masochistic self-dispossession thing going on which is him just entirely putting himself in evan’s hands, at his disposal, a ‘whatever rosie wants, rosie gets’ kinda thing (and all the things that rosie wants are a little fucked up… like evan wants. a rib, let’s say, and barty is immediately offering his up, like take mine please take mine i have a few to spare, and they do the surgery, no anaesthetic, lots of eye contact, and it’s the most romantic thing that’s ever happened to either of them… evan likes to run his fingers over the stitches before they’re fully healed up, maybe pull a few out, just to see….)

anyway i digress but also kinda not a huge digression bc that leads me on to evan as ‘investigator’ - disclaimer!!! evan as a character is a lot more nebulous to me than barty, like i feel like i haven’t entirely grasped him yet so allow me some wiggle room please and thank you but. evan is curious, that’s his central characteristic in my mind, he just wants to like… see, to understand. i think he doesn’t care much for people in terms of them being like actual people, he cares more about. how they work i guess biologically, like how their bones connect to allow them to move in particular ways, how the neurons in their brains do things (i’m really not a steminist i’m sorry guys) to make them say things and act in particular ways. his like. life mission. or whatever. is to figure out how ‘humanity’ works if that makes sense….

and barty is a bit of an aberration in some ways bc he doesn’t interact how he’s supposed to interact and he doesn’t move how he’s supposed to move and evan is curious, bc he normally doesn’t allow anything to bother him but barty is just. a bother. like in general. and evan wants to crack barty’s head open and get a good look at his brain, prod at it, investigate it, and barty would let him. barty would genuinely actually let him and that sort of power, someone being that devoted to you, is a little heady in a way that evan has never really experienced and barty would do anything bc he sees evan and he sees someone who wants to dig deep beneath the surface of him, someone who wouldn’t flinch away from whatever ugliness their digging revealed, bc both of them are so rotten at their cores imo, and he sees a sort of ascension, a higher purpose maybe… it’s absolute body and soul devotion, it’s ‘he could physically cut my heart to pieces and put it under a microscope and that would be divinity’

what are your headcanons about Juliana and Florian?

Both

-Juliana (Jules for short) and Florian (Flori, Flor, etc) are twins! Juliana is the older one. This is inspired by the fact that... they look so similar in their official art! All the recent protags all do but these two take the cake. It's so funny to me. -they look so similar in fact, that they could be body doubles! but that's totally wrong and unethical they'd never... right? -I like the HC that they're both from Galar (their mom having Skwovet and using a British term early-game, the Galarian pokemon stickers in their room, etc). They're both Paldeans, but were raised there before moving back to their hometown with mom.

-Fun thing about Scarlet/Violet is that they're such huge games that it's totally justifiable to have dual protags doing different things. Because of this, I decided to have Juliana handle the 'battle-heavy' routes like Victory Road while Florian, who is more research-focused (and has main character syndrome) features more in The Hidden Treasure arc. -I can't decide on who really does Starfall Street yet, but I'd like for Path of Legends to be the both of them helping Arven since it's the most plot-heavy and has to do with endgame. -Don't ask how but both Koraidon and Miraidon exist at the same time and the twins are their trainers. -In my recent art of them, you'll notice Juliana and Florian's eyes get all blue/crystal-like! this is an effect of their time in Area Zero/being exposed to that much Terastal energy. just them though, no one else...

Florian

-additionally, Flo's hair turns from a purply-brown to pink post-game because he's named "Haruto" in Jp, meaning spring. this carries over across all languages! I wanted to evoke a sense of a blossom coming to life over the course of his journey.

-hates battling because his sister will always be better at it than him, so he vastly prefers pokemon catching instead. (Galar's League-focus/prominence made him sickkkk. he was glad to move) -helped Jacq complete the Paldean, Kitakami and BB pokedex because of that. they're tight, the both of them. -his smile never reaches his eyes, early-game. -he is not naturally kind, nor does he see himself as the 'hero' of the story (that was always Juliana, not him), but he fakes being a main character to make people think he's just as good (this is also a byproduct of Galar's culture tbh) -that's why he seems like the more extroverted of the two, but really, he's just as quiet as her behind doors. -tbh even the fact that he has one beauty mark under his eye instead of two like his twin sis bothers him... blud thinks he'll never be enough! -Koraidon's trainer

-after meeting Kieran, Florian tried to be kind from a genuine want instead of to impress people. he wanted to be the 'hero of the story' that Kieran saw him as... and not because he needed to be out of his sister's shadow. Kieran made him want to try. -like the only way I see him winning during BB League wasn't because he was the main character who always wins, but because winning was the only way he could be friends with Kieran again. -his arc will conclude when he learns to be kind and do things out of selflessness :) which is why he takes a Tera Blast during the Indigo Disk's climax, the ultimate act of selflessness. help. sorry man it was for character development...

Juliana

-The actual main hero of the story. Really insanely strong in battles. like just straight up a beast -Juliana's names mean "youth", so she stays the same, forever a young battle prodigy Florian tries to match (but can't...). Also, youth to me can mean the future, which is why she's the Miraidon trainer! -Another reason why she's Miraidon trainer is because she can't express herself how she wants... she can't emote easily and speaks monotonously, like a robot. -Her arc would conclude when she learns that the people worth keeping in life are the ones that get her even when she doesn't feel "normal" :]]] true treasures. -big eater -read once that having beauty marks under your eyes means you'll have "trouble in love" and tried to scrub hers off... really envies Florian for having just one and thinks Flo's some kind of romance genius. goes to him for love advice one day and it freaks him out (he's having just a complicated time as any teen!!!)

-Heavily inspired by Pokemon Special's take on her. like look at her she's so cool.

I know the one you’re referring to! This should be it, it’s from a vendor in the Grand Bazaar:

I didn’t mention this in the essay because of it being speculatory, but I’m more than ready to speculate here. I agree, this is most likely an inference to Alhaitham, not only considering his status as a Mahamata but also due to the fact that it’s an integral part of Alhaitham’s character that he prefers to be unknown. Even when he serves as the Acting Grand Sage, people don’t typically recognise him due to how little known he is despite his primary role as the Grand Scribe, as seen in his story quest. This would align with why the vendor admittedly has no idea who this particular customer was.

Drinking, particularly wine, can also relate to both Kaveh and Alhaitham, as this is an activity they both partake in together. Alhaitham’s voice-lines express that he likes to have a drink after work, along with his demo showing him drinking wine with Kaveh, Cyno and Tighnari, and him apparently stealing Kaveh’s beer in A Parade of Providence. Similarly, Kaveh also states his preference for drinking in his voice-lines, as well as his overindulgence in this hobby being highlighted in his hangout. Additionally, the furniture item ‘Monthly Frustration Be-Gone’ references Kaveh buying expired wine in order to get a discount.

Since this is an NPC conversation, it’s also worth noting other external worldbuilding details, such as the bulletin boards of Sumeru. In the three exchanges Alhaitham and Kaveh have, all of them reference drinking in some way, in that Alhaitham typically indulges Kaveh by paying for his tabs – revoking this only when they have a disagreement. Lambad also notes that Alhaitham and Kaveh go drinking together, as well as Kaveh picking up wine ordered by Alhaitham.

Alhaitham buying wine for Kaveh to make up for some disagreement between the two aligns with all these established details. When considering the typical exchange of Alhaitham refusing to pay for Kaveh’s drinks when Kaveh disagrees with Alhaitham’s views, it makes sense that it would also work in reverse – as in, when Alhaitham trespasses on Kaveh’s views which leads to Kaveh’s upset, Alhaitham would buy him drinks to make up for it

Alongside this, character description wise, there is no other convincing contender as to who else this could be? Alhaitham uses the tall male model, and is the only tall, relevant member of the Mahamata that the player is aware of.

Given all these context clues the game gives us, I’d say, yeah, this is our resident loser Alhaitham!!

why did you start shipping sukugojo? i am a sukugojo fan for approximately a year now, i've written many fics for them but like seeing that you're entire blog is dedicated to them, i just wanted to ask why you wanted to ship sukuna and gojo together?

i don't think i could tell u why i ship them if i'm honest. i'm the type of person of who doesn't really have reasons for shipping things haha i just see something and if it tickles my brain, then i go ooh!! i like that!!! and that would be the case for sukugo too :D they just make me happy <33

but i guess i could talk about what i think makes them a really great ship

like, the thing about sukuna and gojo is that they're strong. the strongest. both the strongest from their respective times. and that leads to a lot of fun parallels between them and their positions and their ways of being (things that are now being explored in canon!). which means that they're the only ones who truly get each other.

they're equals. and in a world where they have no equals, a life where they are at the pinnacle of everything, the lonely (and boring!) top, where no one else seems to truly get them, to truly challenge them and bring some semblance of excitement, of feeling, into their lives, but then now there's this other person who is finally finally able to give them what they want, what they need. someone who can actually contain them, give them enough to get them to their breaking point, or take enough from them and not break. it's a joyful thing!!

(and the fact that the manga directly uses the term love to make reference to that oh my god. they found love in each other. that's textual.) (i seriously went feral crazy insane when i read that anon)

i think one thing that does factor in inside my love for them is that gojo is my fave and i love breaking him and doing all kinda things to him, so i saw sukuna and it was like oh. he might be able to deal with him :)

and another thing is that they're just fun!!! their dynamic is super fun!!! both their personalities mesh so well together (don't think anyone in-universe would agree haha, but i mean that in the sense that both their personalities are incredibly fun together, they're very entertaining to watch)

like i love love love how their fight is just them having FUN. u can SEE the joy in their faces, u can feel it in the playful jabs, the smiles and grins. they're beaming. what a joyful thing for them to finally have found someone like that.

not to mention that they keep flirting!!!!!! every single interaction between them is loaded with sexual tension, they're all smiles and banter and sensual touches (im looking at you, gojo) (tho sukuna is very much not blame-free either). they've been like that since the first fucking moment they met like............guys we get it...... u wanna fuck, just get on with it already.

also they're just hot together let's be honest. sukuna sexy, gojo sexy. add them both together. extra sexy. they just need to fight and fuck and fight-fuck and crush the world with the sheer sexiness of their combined selves (tho they kind of already are fjdshkasdg)

I couldn't hold back I had to share some more. One of my favorite aspects of the rancher dynamic is that they're both scoundrels. They're stubborn and have tempers and love revenge and Jimmy was just. on board with bringing up a warden to wreak havoc on the Red Velvet Keep. They can enable each other's insanity

sometimes. (not aLL the time) but sometimes people make Jimmy too...passive. but my god he is the most defensive person literally ever in the entire world...Jimmy would so much rather go directly for escalating a situation and making it worse than roll over. He's the perpetual target right? His first instinct is kinda of like when an animal tries to appear bigger and threatening so you won't mess with it,, he immediately goes for doubling down and trying to appear untouchable,,,, of course. he is jimmy. this does not work. AND WHEN IT DOESNT, HES STILL TOO STUBBORN TO STOP,, he. his self-fulfilling prophecy the situations he gets in always worsen for him more than anyone else,,

but that kind of stuff is what Tango's good at...like Tango bringing the warden to the surface in dl is nowhere near an isolated event for him he does things like that all the time. and so you're right they are so similar in some ways (and I could draft an entire post about this itself, they are so so so similar sometimes) with this propensity for revenge but more than that its like...tango is able to arm that feeling in jimmy, that need for chaos where he's the perpetrator and not the victim. Cause it never quite works out when he tries on his own...not that it necessarily works out always for Tango as well, or even works out that specific time with the warden, but he gives jimmy something to DO about it rather than just. try and act threatening and then backtrack and give in when it doesn't work.

and. while we're here. I'm so sorry I get carried away very easily talking about them. but about the STUBBORNNESS. when I said they were similar in many ways...one of those things (though it presents maybe differently on the surface) is the insecurity and idea they each hold about themselves that they are...less capable than the other players...their insistent need to always take the blame. and so. this being something they share...AND the stubbornness...AND the fact that they both have a quick draw temper...this can easily both be good for them and bad for them.

good for them in the sense...they're both SO insistent on blaming things on themselves that they end up taking blame OFF OF the other. like. it's always an assumed "I'm in the wrong" and then the other makes the same comment and they work so hard trying to debunk why it can't POSSIBLY be the others fault they come to the conclusion NEITHER of them deserve the blame after all. GOOD!

bad for them in the sense....remember what I said about Jimmy's instinct being to double down? I do think this similarity and stubbornness and temper would make it so easy to. delve into a fight. only in just the perfectly WRONG combination of circumstances. And I spent like 3 months analyzing how this dynamic would come up in a uhh fight between them and wrote a uhhh 6K word fic I've dubbed "the fight fic" that I never published because I was like man. would the entire rancher community hate me if I suddenly posted 6K words of the ranchers fighting with no warning? LMAO

but. anyway I feel like I digressed so much there haha I'm normal about them <33

I don't know if you've ever talked about this, but what would have been your ideal resolution to Kakashi and Sasuke's relationship in canon? What would you have wanted their post-canon life to look like? (I love love love your meta btw!)

Hi, and thank you!  You’re right; I haven’t talked about this, and the reason for that is because I’m in the planning stages of a project related to this topic, and for me, sharing all my thoughts before I start the nitty-gritty work of making something is basically the kiss of death for the creative process.  I have to keep quiet about stuff I’m working on, or it does weird things to my productivity. X)  

So, while I do have very clear ideas about what the most natural progression for their relationship would be and what their post-canon life would look like, I’m not going to answer this with specifics for now.  I am, however, in a general sense, going to say this: 

Naruto canon basically stops for me at the beginning of 479 (and if you’re interested in a longer explanation for that, I wrote up some thoughts in this old post).  Kakashi and Sasuke’s relationship is just one of many things that the conclusion failed to deliver on, and it’s not even the most important one - I would have been totally fine if the story had ended pre-timeskip and left us with just a tiny indication of a future resolution for them, whereas things like the Uchiha massacre/government cover-up never being mentioned again make me want to scream (I still can’t believe it...never before have I seen a more dramatic departure from a story’s original intent/previously established themes; never before has a more egregious crime against storytelling been committed) - the finale abandoned most of what it had spent the last 700 chapters telling us to wait for, and even though Kakashi and Sasuke’s relationship matters so much to me, it’s not remotely close to the sole or most significant place where the conclusion fell down.

But since we’re talking about these two specifically here - let’s put the other stuff aside.  When it comes to Kakashi and Sasuke, it is completely laughable that this story expects me to buy a conclusion where their relationship isn’t important, the same way it would be laughable for it to expect me to buy a conclusion where Sasuke’s relationship with Sakura or Naruto didn’t matter.  Kakashi is explicitly set up by the story as a parallel/precursor to Sasuke, the same way Obito is set up as a parallel/precursor to Naruto, and while this doesn’t mean that Kakashi and Sasuke are the exact same person or have equivalent personalities, it does mean that Kakashi can understand certain things about Sasuke that other people can’t necessarily relate to quite so easily.  

It’s not just about losing family at a young age (plenty of people in the Leaf can understand that, unfortunately).  It’s the particular experience of discovering your parent/parents’ dead bodies in your own home.  It’s the betrayal/confusion/pain of your family being taken from you not by war or accident or illness, but by the person you most loved and trusted.  It’s the subsequent self-isolation and cutting yourself off from other relationships, throwing yourself into your training and concealing your pain behind the ‘i’m wildly advanced for my age treat me like an adult’ facade.  It’s looking down on your teammates as “less than” and acting like you don’t need them for anything (“you thought the others were so far beneath you that they were worthless....arrogance”).  It’s being dragged inch by inch out of your isolation armor by friends who admire you and care about you despite your efforts to push them away.  

It’s about Kakashi’s unique ties to the Uchiha clan, and specifically to Itachi.  It’s about Sasuke and Kakashi being the last bearers of the sharingan, and both of them being targeted for it (by Danzo, to boot, if you like the anime ANBU arc, but the sharingan still matters even just considering the manga).  It’s about Kakashi’s father being persecuted into a premature grave by the traditional shinobi system, for the crime of defying the traditional shinobi system, the same system that said it was acceptable for the Uchiha clan to be sacrificed in order to accomplish the “mission” of protecting Konoha.  It’s about Kakashi and Sasuke being the children of so-called traitors (aka people who bucked the system and were mercilessly punished for it) and about the complicated social position they’re thus forced to occupy, as people who are deeply proud of where they come from even though they themselves sometimes have conflicted feelings about what their families did to them.  

It’s about Kakashi spending his post-Kannabi life trying to reconcile a desire to protect his home and his community with the knowledge that his home and his community did irrevocable harm to his family, the same way a post-canon Sasuke will have to wrestle with these same questions.  It’s about both of them being used as a weapon to kill the person they cared about most, BY the person they cared about most.  It’s about both of them being willed new eyes by people who were the foundations for their entire existences/philosophies/personal missions for years and years, about whom they now have confusing and complicated feelings, because Obito and Itachi did unspeakable things, but Kakashi and Sasuke love them even when they can’t excuse them, and how do you figure out how to feel about someone who cared about you that much but also hurt you that badly, someone who’s a reviled figure to the rest of the world and whom you aren’t completely sure you’ve fully forgiven, or that it’s even okay for you to forgive?  

It’s about post-canon Sasuke choosing to always keep his left eye covered, an eye he can’t deactivate or otherwise conceal, an eye that makes him (in)famous, an eye that makes him a target to enemies and a danger to the people around him - an eye that comes with baggage, that reminds him of a period in his life that he considers shameful, of a moment where he was lost.

The idea that Sasuke would ever come home to a scenario where Kakashi was not a significant figure in his return/recovery is not remotely believable, particularly when you consider that while all three of Team 7′s kids trained with a member of the Sannin, Naruto and Sakura are the only ones who had actual mentors.  Jiraiya and Tsunade both took on pupils who were reflections of themselves, passing on to them their personal powers and techniques (toad and slug summons, Sage Mode, the Hundred Healings, etc), because they truly believed in their students and cared about their development.  Orochimaru, by contrast, was using Sasuke for his own twisted purposes - he was the witch from Hansel and Gretel, fattening up a child until it could be devoured.  Sasuke was nothing more than a future skinsuit to him, not a student, and there was never any loyalty or respect felt on either side of that mentorship, just a cold craving for the power that each party could obtain by using the other.

In a universe where the master/student relationship is such a fundamental social structure, canon-period Sasuke is totally adrift, unanchored in an aberrant and uncomfortable limbo, because Orochimaru was never supposed to be his teacher.  Kakashi was.   

I think that’s probably the most fundamental principle I apply to Kakashi and Sasuke’s relationship, no matter what era we’re looking at.  Kakashi is sensei to all the kids, in very meaningful ways, but when it comes to the master-student apprenticeships, the truth is that where Naruto had Jiraiya, and Sakura has Tsunade, Sasuke has - was always supposed to have - Kakashi.  The natural progression of their relationship was interrupted the day the Sound Four showed up in Konoha, and it’s been on hold ever since, but the war is over now, even if the work isn’t.  Things are going to change for them, inch by painstakingly-fought-for inch.

— OKAY THIS IS THE ONE I WAS TALKING ABOUT BEING MOST EXCITED FOR! this’ll be based on the korean film “faceless beauty”/“hypnotized”, i’ve never watched it & i’m only taking a few plot points from it so essentially it’ll be about: suguru being in love with satoru’s wife, and he hypnotizes her so at midnight she will always come by his room. it’s quite dark/morbid, & it’ll be a delving into suguru’s unstable obsession and the aftermath that causes to everyone involved.

• “tar black soul, blood-red jam”

— vampire!priest geto my beloved… this one will be almost like a character study about the inherent darkness that lives inside suguru that overcomes him. in my personal opinion, corruption & devotion go hand in hand, therefore him being a “priest” & a “vampire” works so well! suguru has an obsession with reader & this small town has a string of heinous murders happening with no leads to who’s doing it. suguru wants to keep reader safe and will do whatever he has to do in order to ensure that.

• “inertia”

— suguru is a detective & reader is a serial killer who’s responsible for multiple murders in a once calm town. suguru finds himself utterly obsessed with reader but can’t seem to get them out of his head… reader is dangerous, heinous, a psychopathic murderer who doesn’t feel much, but knows they feel a certain… glee, when they see suguru. this story has a lot to do with corruption of self & how far one will go in order to feel something.

• “kiss of death”

— no curses au! grim reaper!reader follows suguru along the course of his lifetime from high school to adulthood. suguru finds an odd friend within the angel of death, and catches himself in multiple shenanigans with the specter! a fun little take on the grim reaper & the souls they reap — or don’t reap.

• “the house on the end of the street”

— suguru geto, the town’s infamously beautiful man, owns the house on the end of the street. everyone says the house is teeming with ghosts, ghouls, & terror-inducing creatures — that the manor’s owner is the cause of all these curses and ghoulish frights! reader is new to town and wants to befriend everyone, even the devilishly handsome man the town steers clear of. the incarnate of gothic horror (suguru) meets the incarnate of modern delight (reader)!

ohhh delphi's most mentally attractive attribute is that she's incredibly calculated. i'm sure to some that it can read as a heartless trait of hers, but to alessandria? it drives them wild.

💐: What is their courting style? How would they woo someone?

well... delphi doesn't normally have to do much to attract attention. as you can imagine, she prefers to sit back and be wooed. that said, when she first approached alessandria with the intent of being turned, she put in some effort. she'd reach out and touch alessandria's arms, play with her fingers, lean in real close and show off her décolletage. delphi's very good at recognizing what draws someone to her, but with alessandria they just liked it all (delphi was entirely unaware at the time that she was alessandria's werewolf soulmate so... in hindsight she really didn't need to do anything other than stand there).

👙: What kind of underwear do they use? Is it pretty or functional?

everything delphi wears is beauty over function. she wears thin, silky lingerie most days, but sometimes she goes without underwear entirely if her dress or skirt is very tight............ i want her so bad it makes me look stupid

she gets flustered very easily if her neck is being kissed. dirty talk always works on her. if she manages to overpower alessandria it'll take her a minute before she calms down.

delphi is very into pda. i think all the werewolves are, actually. she loves being hugged while around other people.

matthias is a big spender and he enjoys sweeping his partner off their feet. rolled my eyes just now typing this, but he would absolutely rent out an entire diner in order to show off as well as to be left alone. i think his go-to for romantic evenings involve dinner, wine, and breathtaking views. he's very detail oriented and will spend a long time figuring out his s/o's likes and dislikes beforehand. for theo in particular he would subject himself to anything to make theo happy, even activities that he dislikes. imani pokes fun at him for this.

matthias thinks he's incredibly attractive and has used that to his advantage his whole life.

....what do you think? i personally think it's more about his aura than his looks, but he's attractive enough on his own without the atmosphere of seduction and power.

if we're talking about matthias pre-theo, then i'm just going to be honest and say he was an exhibitionist. i'm talking orgies and parties that were requiring nondisclosure agreements to be signed before even entering. with theo, though, matthias is only into pda up until a certain point. he likes the possessive aspects of pda, but he doesn't want to let others see theo lose control. hm... i'd say his limit is anything that would make theo start getting vocal. however, theo is very into pda... so matthias will do a lot of small touches to appease him. he likes holding onto theo's hips and waist the most.

Hello!! <3 This is a wild coincidence because I was just talking about this with a few pals the other day! Starting with Nile, because I think she's the best suited for it. Something about her says Band Kid.

Nile: Trombone! A very important part of the marching band! I can see her playing this from the time she was little. Maybe her dad used to play! Maybe she practiced with his old instrument. Also, I just love the sound for her!

Andy: I want to say the tuba! Also a very essential component to the whole marching band. And it's bloody huge and I think she could easily carry it for hours. (Upon a bit more research, I think the instrument I might be thinking of is a sousaphone).

Joe: Saxophone, baby! Or perhaps a flute. The range of sound and the whimsical sound of the flute just match Joe's artistic/poetic nature to me. Or he can just be a hopeless romantic and play some smooth jazz.

Nicky: Can I say... piccolo Nicolo? sdfghf. No but for real I feel like he would carry a heavier instrument than a piccolo, like maybe a trumpet. Trumpets sort of make me think of his voice.

Booker: Maybe it has something to do with the way I picture him in my head -- the Napoleonic foot soldier --- but I think Booker would absolutely play drums. One of those small ones that hangs at your front that you tippity-tap with two sticks. Little drummer boy.

Quynh: Cymbals. She reeks of chaos. Like you know that kid in School of Rock who got put on cymbals because he's a little hyperactive? Yeah, that could be Quynh. OR, wind. I would give her a nice little flute or a clarinet.

Lykon: I'd put Lykon on flute too, actually! We don't see much of him but we know his choice weapon is a spear. I guess my brain is going spear = long and skinny = flute.

okay so it took me a while to answer this but i finally found the words to so here goes; yeah i do know, and i totally understand if you don't ship it, neither do i, but there's nothing i can do about it?

they're allowed, so long as they don't harm people, to do whatever they want on their own platforms. and before you ask me if i support *ncest, would you actually ask someone if they support toxic relationships and murder whenever they ship two unhealthy killers with mental problems? because that's funnily enough what most people do around here! you can say it's not the same, and that they're romanticizing it, but i can personally detach myself from fiction enough to realize that while this concept depicted in their art shouldn't be recreated in real life, that doesn't mean they actually engage or support people that do that irl- they asked zu the same question so many times, and frog doesn't either and i've known gayfish for three years! you're well within your right to stop associating with them or distance yourself from their content but i myself won't.

i know fiction affects reality to a degree, don't twist my words please, but if you're too young to consume that kind of content with a nuanced perspective or is triggered/affected by it then as long as they tag their content properly then you can unfollow, block and move on. i have a habit of following and reblogging people's works before looking at their bios and before i know it find myself having to choose between two sides i don't belong to and i frankly don't want to! anti this or proship that- in this online era you have to adapt by keeping your cool and curating your own online experience and viewing people in black and whites is stressful, painful and dangerous for everyone involved. i don't even reblog the content you probably have a problem with, and i'm honestly still scared of the response i'll get-

i will not blame or hate whoever unfollows or blocks me for this, it's to be expected, but please don't think about it like some bad vs good guys dilemma? sometimes thought provoking morally grey ambiguous stories with messed up characters spark more positive discussion and healing than people looking into it because they suffer from the same delusions and want a justification-

like realistically, in my blog, most ppl here are basically shipping two literal skeletons with magic in their bones who are sometimes almost the exact copy of one another, and who theoretically have a very similar dna, and sometimes they make shipkids, which, if you know anything about *ncest, is one of the main reasons why you shouldn't bang your siblings - mostly from a moral standpoint because that's so gross i can't even think of it, but also because any offspring would suffer greatly from physical and mental diseases hidden in their genetic code- like. you could argue it's not the same but it's sancest for a reason. and even when they're widely different sanses, you wouldn't think fell x sans is wrong (at least in this specific community) but really we've all just gotten numb to how weird that sounds. trust me, there's a reason we don't talk about our ships to outsiders HHH

TL,DR: so while i greatly encourage you to block people and content you don't want to see/associate with, including me! i hope i made it clear why i, personally, don't care about dreammare and whoever ships it.
