Definitely acts of service or gifts. As much as I love my physically affectionate Yaoshi, I see them as someone to just shower you in gifts and love. And let me tell you - those gifts have range. You could get either the most beautiful bouquet (or garden/planet because let's be real, Yaoshi wouldn't settle for just a bouquet) made up of the finest specimen from across the universe, or you could open your door to the freakiest chimera that looks like it was one of God's deleted drafts. With acts of service, Yaoshi doesn't want you to be sad !!! No negative feelings are allowed, only happiness and joy for their loved one <33 So they'll take care of anything that bothers you to make sure that your eternal life is nothing short of paradise.

6. What do you think Yaoshi is like in love?

They're actually insufferable BYE I just know they're musing about every little detail about you to anyone who would listen. Their Emanators and Denizens have never seen you, and yet they know everything about you. Basically, they turn into a less loud, yet somehow even more poetic version of Argenti. You'd slowly notice the effects of their blessings around you as you go on with your life: Flowers and vegetation bloom wherever you go, your injuries heal so fast that you could've convinced yourself they didn't exist, and sickness no longer finds you. Gradually, your world turns into a paradise, and when you inevitably meet the Aeon responsible for it all, they welcome you with open arms.

10. How good at cuddling is Yaoshi?

THEY'RE BOTH SO GOOD AND SO BAD AT IT AT THE SAME TIME ITS LOWKEY IMPRESSIVE. Yaoshi has wayyy too many arms for their own good, but that just means they have all the more to hug you with !! The only problem is that. Well. Those arms have nails. And said nails are sharped to an unreasonable degree, and sometimes Yaoshi forgets about them and they'll accidentally scratch you when they're trying to pet you. But they're warm and make quite the pillow if you just ignore that part, and they'll hum you a little song while they hold you <33 or just talk to you about the mortals that've caught their eye, or what their followers have gotten up to. Yaoshi has a beautiful voice, by the way, gentle yet rich and leaning on the deeper side, and just listening to them is enough to lull you to sleep.

Knight of Dawn doesn't know how to react. Lilia’s being protective of his sister, while Meleanor and Baul is nonchalant. 😂🤣

Ahhhhhh I love to think about how Dawn would have been so, so much happier if he was adopted by the Dark Faes. The shenanigans of these faes trying to raise a human baby.

Meleanor has to learn that human babies are softer compared to fae. She would sing him lullabies to sleep. Dress baby Dawn in the finest, be the protective sister to anyone who tries to mess with him or court him.

Lilia would be a tsun older brother figure. He would initially act like he doesn't care about the baby (kind of like Malleus when he first met Silver), but warm up to him. Take him out to walks, teach him how to fight, sneak him out of the castle to have fun, and so much more.

Baul would be the calm headed one, well calmer than everyone else. Be another one to watch over him, makes sure Dawn doesn't suffer Lilia's cooking, and pat him on the head.

It would be funny that despite these faes influence, Dawn would still be straight laced like we know in canon/Silver.

Lilia: Why are you like this? We didn't raise you like this.

Meleanor: I need to teach you how to be greedy, just like the Draconias. You must take what you want without hesitation.

I also headcanon that Dawn would make Meleanor flower crowns. Dawn would make Lilia little bracelets that he can hang on his uniform or sword. Baul would get a necklace (this kind of reminded me of the Lilo and Stitch scene where Lilo calmed Stitch with a flower necklace). 🤣💞💞

The faes would dispose of Henrik real quick, and just like how Aurora married Philip in the live action. Dawn could get engaged to Leia, (and like how Maleficent reacted) the faes in his life would reluctantly accept.

Awww, thank you so much Zach, the fact that your mother’s a florist (in my AU at least) makes this a common occurrence, but it’s always a welcomed treat! I love them so much, and I love you so much…you are my world, thank you for making each of my days brighter 🥹.

To the anon who sent this on behalf of Zach, thank you. I know it came in last year….like April of last year 😅. I purposely waited until now to post it because as soon as it came in I had a scene entire my mind that I just couldn’t shake…I had to write it. And I did, on paper, but I couldn’t find the courage to post it until now.

I’m very vague in what the scene is about, but it’s super emotional for me and Zach. If you figure out the context, well you figure it out! I won’t be upset if you ask about it or anything, I just feel like it needs to be vague, at least for now.

Special Flower Delivery

I awoke early the next morning, blinking my eyes against the sun pouring through the blinds of the stark white hospital room. I rolled over in the bed to escape the blinding light. I felt sick and sore and miserable, and that was just physically. Mentally it was worse, so much worse.

I started crying again, it had not happened, it couldn’t have happened. Within a second he was scrunching himself into the narrow hospital bed beside me, his arms encircling me from behind as he told me everything was going to be okay. 

“Shhh, I’m here, I’m not leaving, I’m here, I’m here; it’s gonna be okay,” Zach whispered against the nape of my neck. 

“How is it going to be okay? IT’S OVER!” I sobbed louder, turning to him and seeking refuge in his arms. Without thinking I balled my hands into fits and hit them against his chest while screaming at the top of my lungs. It was a miracle the nurses didn’t come running to shut me up with another sedative. 

Zach did not complain from my violent outburst, but a small sound of distress escaped his lips after my assault against his chest had continued for a few minutes. 

I quickly stopped and took a few deep breaths to calm myself, “I’m so sorry, Zach. I didn’t mean to hit you…”

Zach gently stroked my cheek, “I don’t care about that, I only care about you and how you’re feeling…and I know you’re hurting, so the screaming and crying and whatever doesn’t bother me.”

He kissed my forehead and pulled me close to him. The soothing sound of his breathing and heartbeat soon lulled me back to sleep. 

When I awoke again and started to stir, I heard Zach mumble something to the Zachbot that had remained in the corner of the room ever since…it happened. The Zachbot quickly exited the room, having followed Zach’s command. 

“Zach? What’s going on?” I mumbled. 

“I have a surprise for my little flower,” he replied in a sing-a-song voice. 

I shook my head and gave a small snort before the Zachbot reentered the room. I turned my head to see the Zachbot holding a bouquet of beautifully arranged white and lilac flowers of all varieties. 

Zach helped me sit up in bed, and the Zachbot deposited the fabulous flowers into Zach’s awaiting grasp, which he in turn handed to me with a bow. I gave him a weak smile and thanked him as I fingered the petals, tears leaking from my eyes yet again. 

Zach hovered over me, giving me a weak smile that surely matched my own, tears flowing down his own face as well, “special flower delivery to my beautiful, amazing, strong, confident, and perfect wife. I love you, Vi, and I promise you we’re gonna get through this…together.”
