One Year of BiggSodorCityStories!

So, one year ago today, I created this blog.

A year ago, I didn't really think very much would come of it. I'd been very upset with Deviantart's tone-deaf decision to try and force its entire userbase to "embrace" AI imagery and make their entire galleries ripe for the stealing, and created this blog to act as an image repository in case DA's stupid decision caused them to implode.

Honestly, I thought that I would lose interest and leave this blog to gather dust in a few months at most.

However, one year later, and this little blog has amassed over 100 followers (would have possibly been 200 or more if it wasn't for the pr0nbots, but they don't count) and my interest is still very high.

I have met some lovely people in the last year and gotten the chance to engage with them and other talented artists and storytellers, none of which would have happened if I hadn't bitten the bullet and joined this site.

I would like to take this chance to thank you all for your kind support over the last year, be that through likes, reblogs, asks or private messages (no matter how cheerfully I may or may not have received them at the time). Every single interaction has meant a great deal and been very welcome. I hope to see you all again over the next year of this little cracky blog.

Milestone Celebration 2023

Thank you so much for following me! I'm so humbled and grateful for the follows, likes, comments, and reblogs I have received on this platform over the past two years. Your support is appreciated. To say thank you, I ran a poll to see how you think I should celebrate.

As a result of the poll, I thought we could play a screenshot game together. I will set out the rules below, but I thought it might be fun to have you not only send in asks for the game, but also to participate yourselves and contribute a short story.

How to play:

Scroll down to the three gifs below (under the cut because they are flashing). The gifs will have a "Mood", a "Character" and a "subject or kink".

Take a screenshot of all three gifs at once (they should fit on a phone screen - it may not work on desktop.) (God I hope it works on all phones 🤣)

What ever the screenshot captures will be the prompt for your story. E.g. "Slow & Romantic", "Walter", and "Choking".

Either send in a copy of the screenshot to me through my asks (Anons will not be able to participate) or write a short story yourself. I'm hoping to keep my stories to about 500 words, but you are welcome to write more or less than that.

If you use the prompt yourself, please tag @sillyrabbit81 me so I can reblog it and add it to the celebration masterlist and use the tag #rabbitsmilestone23 in the first 5 tags.

I will be accepting asks for this Celebration for the next seven days. I hope to start posting after that. If you chose to write something yourself, there is not real deadline for participating, I want to keep this fun and stress free.

Tomorrow marks my fifth anniversary of writing on this website, and I've also reached 3k followers!! Pure insanity.

I've been neglecting my tumblr/writing so far this year, and I hope to turn that around now that things in my life are getting back on track.

There will be a celebration post coming up soon!! I haven't quite decided what I'm going to do in honor of these events, but I'm almost there, so be on the lookout!!
