ok so i just got to rewatch the last two episodes of cql today and like.

in mdzs they gotta like be holding back su she the whole time, like kicking him to the ground to keep him away from jin guangyao and like cql!sms is just not about that life he's just. chilling. just watching in the background like "oh damn xiyao divorce? xiyao divorce imminent?? That could be good for me!" like he doesn't even get to die protecting jgy heroically. I mean, i mean he does die protecting jgy but the vibes are not the same. like he does die because he's trying to protect jgy but there's not quite the same sense that he is actively choosing to die protecting jgy right til the end. he just kinda dies.

10/10 choice to have him clearly suffering trauma flashbacks when he gets held hostage though. And still being like "don't worry about me"? What a fucking amazing man. 11/10. 12/10.

man h*rmes really just. did not have the tools to help m*teion properly process all that despair. and how could he! no one else had them (the flowers were always white!). but he cared about her. and he wanted her to go out and learn how to deal with despair and more (in the course of your long journey you will learn from those you meet. learn to walk and run and so much more). and it’s just so sad to me. if he knew how to handle his own despair, if he knew that everyone had to find their own reason for living, he wouldn’t have needed to send her out in the first place.

misgendering someone on purpose, especially when they have stated they're uncomfortable with it, just for a quick giggle is just so sick man. like sure call him your babygirl all you want whatever, but purposefully calling him a girl because he gives you "androgynous nb they/them vibes" and ignoring everything he has ever said about his own gender is just awful he's not a little puppet. also people are just so weird about hair and it saying something about your gender
