He's my clockwork appointed babysitter, not dad.
They failed, even they managed to beat all the cultist in time. The ritual was still completed. The leader was laughing like a maniac until Hood hit him hard with the butt of his gun, knocking the guy out cold finally. With held breaths, they watched how smoke rose from the ritual circle higher and higher until it started to form a black shadow with stars as eyes and too many teeth and limps. Batman was on his way with Constantine. Maybe they could at least contain whatever that was until they arrived.
"Who in the name of all good and holy dared to summon me?!" A static scratchy voice echoed in their ears.
No one dared to answer at first but of course Red I-fear-nothing Hood had to open his mouth earning him death glares from his siblings. "Aren't you like a demon? Why would you mention anything good and holy?"
That think was blinking at them and Tim did a double take when that think moved its many limps like it was rubbing the back of its neck.
"In the name of all bad and cursed then?" It sounded unsure still a booming echo like voice but unsure. They shared a look. Dick opened his mouth, ready to say something when suddenly a familiar voice shouted from behind them.
"Cut the crap kid! They are the Batsie and his birds belong to the good!"
They turned to see Constantine marching in with Batman right behind him. The man was throwing the but of his cigarette way as he went right up to that demon. Which apparently was not one because right as the Brite was up to it a puff of greenish some blocked their view for a moment before a white haired child stood where the demon had been seconds ago.
"The hell you doing out here kid. I told you to stay at home."
"You try resisting a summon when your all new to the fact that you can get summoned!"
"Your going to make my hair gray faster, you little chaos gremlin."
"Aw love you too!"
"Uh Constantine?" They had question of of them was that Constantine was apparently familiar with that child, demon, whatever.
"Right." The man lit another cigarette but before he could even take one drag of it he side eyed the child staring up at him before he flicked it to the side. "Bats my demon son, Danny the Bats."
"Demon son?"
"Actually I am-" They watched how Constantine covered the child's, Danny's, mouth with his hand shushing the boy.
"What did I tell you about interdimensional secrets? That's right, do not talk about them to just anyone. We are not repeating the Green Lantern incident."
Should they feel offended? It felt like they should. They weren't just anyone.
"Constantine." Batman gruffly warned, but the man held up one hand towards them. Batman was definitely offended that Green Lantern got to learn something he wasn't getting to know on Constantine's watch.
"One moment Batsie. I need to- did you gremlin just lick my hand?!"
The moment Constantine removed his hand the child stuck his tongue out at the JL Dark member and made a break for it to hide behind Batman.
"Get back here you little..."
"No! I am always stuck at home, and you promised me I would get to see the watchtower at last month!"
Batman blocked Constantine from getting to who was apparently the man's demon son. Staring at the man as the boy grinned in triumph.
"Mate get out of the way, this kid needs to get grounded again."
"For what?"
"Being a chaos gremlin that won't listen."
The rest of the batfam had only one burning question on their mind. "Which demon was willing enough to have a child with Constantine?"
Well, except for Tim who had caught the little tidbit of interdimensional secret and was wondering who Danny really was.

What She Deserves
From the prompts “Have you lost your damn mind!?” and “Please, don’t leave.”  From @sophie-herondale.
Sooo, this went longer than expected and as it is more than a couple hundred words, there is some angst, but happy ending!
Uh… this fic includes Jason and Constantine so…. There’s a bit of swearing.
“Have you lost your damn mind!?  What the hell was that?” Jason demanded pulling Marinette’s arm back to stop her from walking away and force her to look at him.
When she finally looked back into his eyes, her eyes ripped into him.  He squared his shoulders and set his expression waiting for her to lash out at him.  “You’re going to have to be more specific, Red.” She spat out the nickname like an insult.  “Which ‘that’ are you referring to exactly?  The agreeing to hang out with you?  The getting ignored all night?  The not getting nearly drunk enough?  The talking to people who actually showed an interest in me?  The trying to make friends?  The dancing with friends?  Which one? There are so many ‘thats’ from tonight, I don’t know which one you mean.”  She stalked closer to him with each sentence, but since he refused to back away as she did, she was now flush against him, looking almost straight up to glare at him.
“I meant taking John fucking Constantine’s goddamned phone number.  Which is probably literally goddamned, by the way.”
“You have a problem with John?  You seemed to be fine with him a little bit ago.  You had no problem with him when you invited him tonight.  What changed?” She snapped at him.
He stepped back to give himself some space.  It was hard to think when she was so close to him.  He couldn’t form coherent thoughts when he could feel her pressed against him. “Well for one thing, he’s old enough to be your dad…”
“You’ve slept with older…”
“…second, he’s totally morally questionable…”
“So is everyone else you know.”
“…third, he can’t be trusted…”
“That’s the same as the second.”
“…fourth, he’s an asshole…”
“Name someone you hang out with that isn’t.”
“…fifth, he smokes…”
“… so was almost everyone else in that room…”
“sixth… sixth?  Yeah, sixth, he is drinks his weight in alcohol…”
“You really want to throw that particular stone?”
“…seventh, he is unrepentantly violent…”
“Oh, you really do want to go there.”
“eighth, he is nowhere near good enough for you.”
Anger flared in her eyes. She stepped closer again to jab her finger into his chest.  “You don’t get to decide that.  I decide that.  And I decide that someone who pays attention to me and is concerned about me is good enough for me.”
“He isn’t.”  He growled back.
“Oh?  And who is?” she demanded, throwing her arms out.  “Tell me, who should I be talking to, oh Wise One, oh Knower of Others’ Worth.  Who do I deserve to be with?”
He stared at her for a few moments, mind racing to come up with an answer to that question.  Who was good enough?  Who would he approve of?  “Nobody,” he whispered out looking at her earnestly.
She looked at him in shock. Her face quickly shifted to hurt, then morphed into a carefully constructed blank expression. “Good to know. Thank you.”  She said unemotionally, as though he had just told her the weather.  She turned around quickly and moved down the street as quickly as she could without actually running.
He watched her leave wondering what caused the shift in mood.  Was she really that appalled by the idea of him thinking that highly of her, of his opinion of her?  Was he that reprehensible that a good opinion from him was a red mark on her?  She was probably right, but it still hurt to know she believed it too.
“That was a sight to behold, mate.” John said as he lit his cigarette behind him.
Jason whipped around to face him.  “You should be ashamed, you fucking pedophile.”
“I’m not going to argue with the rest of what you said about me, but she’s over 18.  So legally, it isn’t pedophilia.”  He stared unimpressed as Jason growled at him and pushed him against the wall, pushing his forearm into his throat to keep him there.  “It’s just creepy as fucking hell and disgusting.  She’s young enough, technically, she could be my granddaughter. I’d rather skin my arm with a dull knife.”
Jason eased up on his hold, confused about the change in attitude.  “I didn’t give her my number to shag.  She has some information I want.  I have information she wants.  We’re going to meet up tomorrow and exchange information.  Magical information.”
“You were dancing with her,” Jason narrowed his eyes at him.
“She wanted to dance and nobody else was volunteering to dance with her. Actually, nobody else seemed to want to be around her, almost like they were afraid of upsetting someone if they got too close.”
“You don’t dance.”
“She was sad.” He shrugged. “Apparently, she was getting ignored by some twat and she needed someone to be nice, platonically.  My hands never wandered from her hands.  She needed someone to confirm she wasn’t the wanker, he was.  More specifically, the wanker that just told her she deserved to be alone.” He looked at Jason pointedly.  “Now, if you’ll excuse me, Ive got an appointment tomorrow and I’d like to get pass out drunk with enough time to get some sleep before that.”
He easily pushed a stunned Jason off of him.  Jason stared at a point on the wall.  That isn’t what he had said was it?  He replayed what he had said again.  He said nobody deserves her.  She asked who she deserved to be with and he said nobody, because nobody was good enough to deserve her.  Mother fucking FUCK.  He hadn’t added that last part.
He raced down the street in the direction she had gone.  He needed to find her.  He needed to fix it.  He couldn’t believe how stupid he was.  This is exactly the kind of thing that proved he didn’t deserve her.  She had to know that.  She had to know she was better than him and his friends.  He finally caught up with her a block away from her apartment.
“Marinette, stop!” He yelled to her as he ran.
She continued walking, the only indication she had heard him was a slight stutter in her step and an increased pace.  He moved in front of her and held his hands up in a placating gesture, trying to catch his breath from having run for blocks to catch up to her.  “Wait, please.”
“You’ve said enough tonight, don’t you think?” She said coldly.
“No,” he begged.  He looked down at her face and the sight broke his heart.  She had wiped away the tear tracks, but she couldn’t hide the red that lined her eyes and branched out throughout her eyes.  He had done this.  He made her cry.  He silently cursed himself.  “That didn’t come out the way I meant it.”
“It’s fine Jason.  Don’t worry about it.  I just want to go to bed.”  She said tiredly, refusing to look in his eyes.  She moved to get past him again.  He backed up so he wasn’t preventing her from walking, but was still in front of her.  He wanted her to understand but he was not willing to make her even more uncomfortable.
“Please, don’t leave. Please listen.” He begged her, but she kept walking forward.  He moved out of her way and allowed her to continue.  He clenched his fists and let out a frustrated breath.  He looked up to her retreating back and tried one last time. “I meant nobody deserves someone as amazing as you.” He called after her.  “I meant you are too incredible for anyone I know.  I meant… I meant you are brilliant and kind and talented and hilarious and strong and sassy and everything that is good in this world.  I meant… I meant you deserve better.”
Sometime during his speech she had turned to look at him, her mouth opening slightly, forming an ‘oh’. She blinked a few times and looked down to gather her thoughts.  When she looked back up at him her eyes had softened.  “That sounds awfully lonely, up on that pedestal all on my own.  I don’t want to be up there by myself.  I don’t want to be up there at all.”
“Sorry, Pixie, but to me you are perfect.  You always will be.  So even if you’re a monster in the mornings and you can’t say no to anything to the point that you overload yourself into anxiety attacks and you like horrible TV shows and three drinks has you falling over drunk and you have terrible taste in who you let get close to you, you will still always be perfect to me.” His voice grew gentle as he spoke.  He moved closer to her as he spoke until he was close enough to brush a strand of hair behind her ear and cup her cheek.
She reached up to lay her hand on his and looked at him eyes shining with tears again.  “Why have you been avoiding me?  Why didn’t you speak to me all night?  All week?”
“Because you deserve better than me.  I was trying to back away so you could find someone who deserves you.  Someone smart, like you.  Someone with a kind heart, like you.  Someone who would give their shirt to help someone else, like you. Someone who makes you smile, like you make everyone around you smile.  Someone who makes you unabashedly, breathlessly, wildly, happy …”
“Like you,” she cut in before he could finish, tears spilling over again.  “That describes you.”  She reached up to twist her hands around the back of his head and pull him down to her lips. She put all her passion and love into her kiss, kissing him desperately, hungrily.  He wound his hands around her hips and pulled her closer to him, pressing her body to his as he fiercely returned her kiss.
They pulled away when they could no longer go without air.  He pressed his forehead to hers and shook his head gently.  “I don’t deserve you.”
“I decide what I deserve and although I don’t think I’m good enough for you, I want to believe I deserve to be happy.  And you make me happy.” He shook his head vehemently.  She cupped his face to slow his motions and spoke before he could deny it.  “I don’t want to argue about that tonight.  I don’t want to debate worth and mistakes tonight.  Tonight I want to kiss you.”  She leaned up to place a chaste kiss on his lips.  “Tonight I want to be close to you…” she moved her hand to the back of his neck to play with his hair. “… and snuggle up with you while we watch television. Because I have amazing taste in shows.” She grinned up at him.
He chuckled and shook his head, “You really don’t.” He gave her a gentle smile and caressed her cheek. “But, I’d endure worse for you.”

Star-Crossed Universe
A/N: Yes!!! I’M BACK!!! This project has been on the back burner for so long and its finally time to upload it on here. I’m not sure what you all will think but hey...it’s fan fiction and everything and anything goes.
Warnings: Language, Humor (bad and good jokes), Sexual Conversations, and an ultimate Team-Up.
Plot: When Y/N is thrown into a mission way out of her league, she, and magician best friend Zatanna must stop strong demonic forces from entering earth through an unknown portal that John Constantine may have opened. With the assistance from the Dark Knight himself, a mysterious 1967 black Impala arrives in Gotham just when things start to go to hell. But who called the Winchesters? Why is there a clairvoyant bond between Y/N and Dean Winchester? And why does Castiel, an angel of the Lord, believe John Constantine isn’t who he says he is? And will Dean wear the Batsuit?
Move over Scooby-Natural because it’s Batman’s turn! The Winchesters join Batman and Y/N (You!) in taking down a villain who isn’t an everyday monster for Supernatural!
Please enjoy and comment! If you want a Part 2, please let me know.
  Part 1
I don’t remember a time where tears felt like my own. Of course, it doesn’t help that I’m standing on the ledge when Gotham is down pouring like it always does at night. It shouldn’t be a surprise, really. Gotham is the only city in the US of A that is dark, depressing, manic, and suicidal.
Even Superman refuses to stay here for more than a day.
I’m not any better. The only reason why I’m literally dangling my feet over the edge is because I’m numb.
 Numb to feelings.
Numb to pain.
Numb to life.
Bottom line is breakups fucking suck period. Especially if your ex-boyfriend is Bruce Wayne.
 And Batman.
I don’t know why I put myself through this. The bitter pain of having to work with someone you love but to know they’ll never love you as much. Maybe this is why I should have never worked with Bruce.
Dick left first and has successfully made a name for himself, Nightwing, in Bludhaven.
Jason comes and goes throughout the months and has his own team of misfits who do good but cause chaos as well.
Even Tim and Damian are working together. They’re training and leading the Titans. The last I heard from them is that they’re doing just fine.
 Except me.
Who am I kidding? I can’t compare myself to Bruce’s kids even though I’m closer to Dick’s age than Bruce’s.
Maybe that’s why it didn’t work out between us. Bruce is almost my father’s age, late forties early fifties. And he’s still sexy as fuck; stronger than ever.
And here I am in my early thirties, expecting more than just a wordless promise of something more than casual sex and the uncertainty of the future.
After three months ago, I’m trying desperately hard to not care anymore. The only constant thing in my life is being Night Bat, and I’ll die with only that part of me.
 Death.
The one place where everything and nothing hurts anymore.
 “Y/N.”
My head jerks to the right side where Zatanna is standing. With her hands on her hips, I can see her blue eyes blinking sadness and guilt. For a beautiful woman like Z, her broken expression is almost tragic enough to make me cry like her.
If my own tears were my own. Maybe my tears are Gotham’s.
“It’s Etrigan. He’s...” Zatanna chokes on her words. She literally holds her neck and tries to stop sobbing. “He’s dead.”
I can feel my eyebrows raise as confusion and disbelief crash over me.
“Dead?” I repeat. I can’t even believe that word is coming from my mouth. Etrigan is tough. Etrigan is a shithead. Etrigan cannot be dead. “How?”
Zatanna shrugs her shoulders as her lips quiver. Seeing her broken up makes me feel like an asshole for not comforting her. So, I stand up and go over to her. Taking her by surprise, I hug her tightly.
She’s my best friend. My sister. My partner in crime whenever we get into bad shit. (Sometimes...maybe).
After Zatanna hugs me, she takes a step back and wipes her tears with her gloved hand.
“He-he was stabbed. I... I don’t know by what but he bled and he was never one to really bleed, you know? I checked everything out and he’s dead. He’s really gone. But it was...a very fucking strange thing. Really,” Zatanna rambles on anxiously. Whenever she cusses, I know she’s angry and stressed out. “Whatever killed him, it’s not from around here. What I sensed near him, it’s not human. It’s not magical. It’s not even Kryptonian or extraterrestrial.”
I swallow hard. “What do you think it is then?”
 “Demonic.”
_________________________________________________
“Have you contacted John?” I ask. My voice is rough and breathless. I’m busy shoving as much weapons as I can in my backpack, along with a few clothes and a book from Alfred about demonology. He said it was a gift from Constantine himself.
I stare down at my long, silver triple-edged dagger that I found on one of my solo missions in Kansas when Bruce was fighting
 “Not in... six months.”
The guilt in her voice makes me turn to glance at her. “Seriously?”
I glance down at my black pants and boots to make sure I’m appropriately and comfortably dressed for tonight. I slip on a red and black checkered flannel over my form fitting black tank top.  After rolling up the sleeves to my elbows, I put on my black leather jacket and turn to face Zatanna.
“What, am I supposed to keep in touch with my ex-boyfriend? I thought ex-boyfriends were meant to stay ex-boyfriends, not friends. And besides, you keep in touch with Bruce,” Zatanna responds smugly.
 “He’s...a co-worker...that’s-thats different.”
 “Bullshit,” Z laughs.
I roll my eyes. “Whatever. I need a drink before we start...” I say, waving my hand up dramatically. “Whatever this is. I think a stop at Lucky’s is what we need.”
“A trip to the bar is what YOU need,” Zatanna replies.
She follows me out of my apartment until we stop in the parking lot where my motorcycle is parked. I don’t see her standing behind me with her arms crossed and eyebrow raised, as I take a seat on my bike and set myself up to ride.
 “What?” I ask, genuinely confused.
“I could just you know...poof is there.”
“Yeah, you could like you always do, but I need to ride my baby right now. It’s like, therapy for the low self-esteem, loner, rebels,” I say.
To my surprise, Zatanna nods her head and gives me a small smile. I’m grateful she understands how much riding my motorcycle makes me happy. Makes me breathe. Makes me feel alive.
 “I’ll see you there, Y/N/N.”
 “See ya, Z.”
And with that, Zatanna poofs for real. Her magic still surprises me. Whenever I see her perform her spells and tricks, I feel like I’m reliving magic shows I saw as a kid that I used to believe were real and powerful.
But to know what Zatanna does is real is still unbelievable sometimes.
And to think we have been best friends for five years now...amazing how time flies by I’m between laughs and heartbreaks.
Revving my bike, I waste no time speeding out of the parking garage and into the streets of Gotham. The rain and wind in my hair sends me chills, as the lights and buildings pass me by so fast that I feel like everything I see is a blur; almost like in a dream-like state.
Lucky’s is just a small country rustic bar outside of Gotham. City people usually don’t go there as the place is purely meant for drifters and stranded loners. I happen to love the bar. If I’m ever feeling down or angry, I always drop by to get drunk or frisky if I’m ever in the mood. Bruce was always disappointed in me for that. He always used to say I’m better than that and I shouldn’t put myself down.
I sometimes think he’d want to say I’m easy, but Bruce is just so complicated sometimes. He can either be a total asshole or be the gentle sweetheart he is. You never know which side you’d see sometimes.
 Almost like Two-Face.
Swerving into the mud to park alongside trucks and other bikes, I climb off my motorcycle and glance around the dirt lot. I recognize a few vehicles parked already. A new black Escalade parked closer to the bar is different and catches my attention rather quickly.
I pull my hair back into a ponytail and start my way over to the expensive ass vehicle when suddenly a black car speeds right pass me and parks right next to my bike, sending mud flying to my pants and on my bike! Rage suddenly takes over me. I can feel my blood boil and my jaw clench as several curse words come to mind. I twist around and instead make my way to that motherfucker’s car.
A black 1967 Impala? What a fucking joke.
As if this motherfucker owns this American classic. This self-righteous, prick probably stole it from some old fool or maybe his own old man.
I’m ready to break this douchebag’s face. Knock all his teeth out and break his cock into two…maybe three pieces.
I finally reach the driver’s door and quickly open it; door swinging back. This must piss off the man a lot, but I don’t care right now.
“Look, you motherfucker! You think you can just drive like a bat out of hell and get fucking mud on MY baby?!  Get out of this fucking car so I can break you apart with my bare hands!” I yell angrily and loudly.
The man climbs out of his car, but my anger suddenly vanishes. What the hell?
Holy fucking shit…this man is…hot.
Standing at 6’1, this man is almost intimidating. With short brown hair, tan skin, hypnotizing green eyes, and freckles splattered over his nose and cheeks, he’s fucking adorable…and sexy. I can’t help but stare up at him.
He smirks down at me. Underneath his dark jacket, he’s wearing a flannel shirt and black Henley, where I can already see his strong chest, muscled arms, and soft tummy.
“Looks like sweetheart likes what she sees, Sammy. I’d say we made the right choice for coming out to Gotham,” the man speaks smugly. His voice is deep and husky, more addicting than any liquor inside the bar.
Another man comes over to us from around from the car. This man, I’m assuming his Sammy, is FUCKING TALLER than the hot one in front of me!
Sammy chuckles lightly at me. Pushing his longer brown hair from his face, he quickly reaches out to shake my hand.
“Hi, I’m Sam Winchester and this is my brother, Dean.”
The second those words leave his mouth; we hear someone quickly approaching us. Zatanna. And from the looks of theirs, they’re shocked and surprised to see my friend in her usual, sexy magician number.
Zatanna smiles, nonetheless. “Well, if it isn’t the Winchesters. We’ve been expecting you.”

I don't like Moyo much either. Thats what wtfock sold to the audience. They made him heavy on the OG elias part of his personality and light on the Madhi part. But for all the commentary and meta in wtfock tag. My lasting impression of Moyo is that he is a bully. Characters like Moyo, Tiff (not interest in her season) and Constantpain absolutely should get a hostile receptions bc they've all been relentless a-holes. Pushing them to the center rarely shakes that indelible stain on their character
I really dont understand some of this logic tho particularly for wtFOCK. I also wonder what determines a character as worth redeeming or not? Because they are a ton more characters in the skamverse that have done way more egregious things then what Moyo did. Is Arthur worth redeeming? Someone who consciously lied and cheated on a girl(Alexia) who had literally had just told him that for a long time she was in her head about her appearance and sexuality? Or is he out too? Or Lola who could at times be extremely verbally abusive to almost everyone around her. Hedge other humans emotions to either tether them to her self destruction or leverage them for access? Or here is a better comparison what makes Senne a person who used women and objectified them time and time again. Literally belittled Amber and her emotions. Verbatim told her she wasnt even worthy of Senne taking time to remember her name, and two, not even cracking his top ten list!?! I mean to me Senne and Moyo are pretty much equal in their shitty past behavior. So what makes Senne redeemable? and Moyo not? and all those other mains I mentioned? I understand not wanting to invest in the antagonist trope but I feel like comparing bad behavior to bad behavior isnt an accurate model for evaluation because it seems to me that its led based on who people like(based on their love interest plot) versus the actual actions of the character. Like in my eyes what Senne did to Amber is if not worse or just as bad as what Moyo did to Robbe, and unlike Moyo, Senne actually acts on his aggressive traits and gets into a physical altercations. So why is Senne a decent human worth redemption and Moyo isnt?
Also I do think Tiff and Constantine are like the extreme in the bullying spectrum but I am pretty sure constantine is going to get some redemption or contextualization in Druck too. I actually think this is why SKAM remakes main or subplot gray characters because they are posing the question ok you will forgive this person for this and that but not this one for something very similar in behavior.... why is that?

I think that maybe Charlie being a boggart type monster was originally part of the original plot for the camp episode. Matt mentioned to a couple of people at Wales Comic Con that Charlie and Nate were supposed to meet in that episode and there were some Nate and Constantine scenes involving a people you love/people you fear thing. There's also the conversation between Mick and Charlie about pretending to be something worse than you are to survive. (1/2)
(cont) Matt mentioned so many scenes that I wish we'd seen but I don't think they would have worked outside the original plan for the episode. Constantine and Nate's conversation. Mick kicking Nate and Zari out of the room where Charlie was and not letting Constantine in. A Nate and Zari scene that Constantine interrupted that sounded like a hint that Zari had a crush on him since the Groundhog Day episode. (2/2)
--
Huh. Thats really interesting because like, im actually glad they didnt do all of this bc yeah reading it some of this stuff just doesnt hit right. Like really glad they decided not to say the person zari had a crush on was nate in the nate/amaya relationship because thats just not true and wouldve completely ruined the sort of memory of amaya that she and nate kept between themselves. Like not to say she couldnt have had a crush on both, but let's be real. Like the show really decided that their love for amaya is what lead to them to love each other and not some weird secret crush which is nice. It felt a lot more organic and you know honestly i really respect legends wanting to be more organic as a show bc like yeah sometimes the lack of a greater structure can really bring a finale to a screeching halt, but it also means they respect the characters more than they want to push what they think they want the show to be. They clearly brought the charlie thing back up again, so we'll have to see what happens! Clearly we're not planning anything
Also matt is great but his interpretation of things can tend to be uuuuuuh a bit.... wrong. Like maybe he's fucking with everyone! I dont know him personally to say! But yeah i think if anything thanks for telling me bc it really sort of showcases why legends fans shouldnt get caught up in spoilers!!! What a time

jealous heart [drake walker x mc]
Pairing: Drake Walker & Camille (my MC in the game)
Synopsis: Camille goes in search of Drake in the palace library which also doubles as a bar, so obviously he can be found here. She finds him... and Kiara. But how can she be jealous when he isn’t even hers and she is still in the running to be Queen?
‘Okay, so today you are getting to know King Constantine and Queen Mother Regina. You need to show how much you want to be Queen and also show how much you have learned about Cordonia. This is a big day, Camille. Any issues and this will reflect on you, on House Beaumont, on our entire position in the competition.’ Bertrand was filling in Camille on today’s activities while she was trying on numerous outfits.  ‘Remember: you live and breathe Cordonia and are so grateful to be taken away from your old life as a waitress in New York-’ ‘But my old life wasn’t so bad-’ Bertrand held up a hand. ‘They don’t need to know that. Besides, you were a waitress in a dive bar and lived in a studio apartment.’ Camille’s shoulders sagged. She caught Maxwell looking at her, a pained expression on his face. ‘Bertrand, maybe I can take it from here,’ he said. ‘You go and deal with more pressing Beaumont affairs.’ Bertrand glared at him. ‘’This is a pressing Beaumont affair.’ Maxwell slyly pointed at Camille, who was staring at the floor. Bertrand turned pink. ‘I’m sorry Camille if I’ve upset you. Sorry. I’ll go.’  He left the room. Maxwell stepped closer to Camille.  ‘Camille, are you okay?’ She looked up at him and he saw with shock that there were tears in her eyes. ‘No, Maxwell. I’m not.’
She sat down shakily on the chaise-lounge and clasped her hands together. Maxwell sat down beside her. ‘What’s wrong? Is it because Bertrand said you lived in a studio apartment? I’ve heard those are very different to palaces.’ Camille shook her head. ‘No, although that did sting a bit. I just feel like my heart isn’t in this competition. Like, it’s somewhere else.’ ‘Somewhere else?’ Maxwell ventured. Camille sighed. ‘Someone else.’ Maxwell drew in a breath. ‘Um... can I ask who?’ He tried to push down the hope he had. He had had a small crush on Camille since he had gotten to know her. She was always kind to him and funny and treated him like he was worth something, unlike everyone else who viewed him as the village idiot.  ‘I’m falling for Drake,’ she said quickly, wanting to get the confession over with. Maxwell’s eyes widened. Forget his own feelings, she liked Drake! This was huge!  ‘Camille! How long have you liked him?!’ ‘A while... it’s been a slow burner.’  Maxwell gulped. ‘Would he make you happy?’ Camille looked at him, her eyes sad. ‘I think he would. I can be myself with him.’ ‘Does he know you like him?’ Camille broke eye contact and stared ahead of her. ‘He does. We’ve had... moments. But he seems to believe I’m delusional and that I can’t ever love him. That he doesn’t deserve to be loved.’ Maxwell frowned. He had never seen Drake as the type to be emotional. He always saw this sarcastic, frowning man who enjoyed whiskey a little too much and never wanted to join in with his dance parties. He closed his eyes and all thoughts about Camille ever liking Maxwell back were gone. Though he liked her, he could see now that he had been blind. He thought back to the moments when Camille would insist that Drake join her, Maxwell and Hana for a drink. Or the times in the ballroom when she would sit beside Drake in the corner while everyone else danced. Or even when Camille would be joking around with Hana and Maxwell would glimpse Drake looking at her, a faint smile on his lips.  It was so obvious now. And Maxwell wanted her to be happy.  ‘You should find him,’ he said. ‘Tell him again how you feel and how happy he would make you.’ She frowned at him. ‘What about House Beaumont?’ Maxwell smiled. It was typical of her to think of others before herself. It was one reason why he liked her. ‘We’ll manage. I’ll think of a money making idea to keep us afloat. I just want you to be happy.’ ‘But the competition... Liam...’ she whispered. ‘There’s so much riding on this.’ Maxwell shrugged. ‘Liam could always pick Olivia. Go find Drake.’ She squeezed his hand. ‘Thank you, Maxwell.’ He squeezed hers back ‘Go get him, tiger.’
She wandered round the palace trying to find him until she worked out that he must be in the library. The library also doubled as a bar, which made her want to kick herself because of course he would be in the bar.  With new resolve, she made her way to the library.  She entered and stopped short. She saw him instantly - her eyes always found him first in a crowded room. It was always the way. He was near the back facing her and was emptying his whiskey glass. She was about to walk over to him when she spotted another woman sit at his table, her back to Camille. The woman handed him another drink and Drake smiled at her, toasting his glass with hers. The woman looked to the side and Camille drew in a breath. It was Kiara.
Kiara had admired Drake since the day of the barn raising when Drake had helped her from being hurt by a beam. This act of kindness and the fact he had also been shirtless at the time didn’t hurt. Camille had spotted it instantly and had tried to ignore it. She had mentioned to Drake that Kiara seemed to like him but he had frowned and said he wasn’t interested. Now, it looked like he was. She watched them as they spoke and Kiara let out a shrill laugh when he said something. Camille’s heart contracted which she hated. Drake could spend time with other girls. He didn’t belong to her and she had no right to be jealous, especially when she was still in the competition to be Queen.  She watched as Kiara leant forward and pushed a stray lock of hair out of Drake’s eyes. He caught her hand and placed it back on the table but it was enough for Camille to audibly gasp. He looked up and saw her in the doorway before she could escape. His mouth dropped open and he rose to his feet. Before Kiara could turn around to spot her, Camille turned and ran away from the library, back to her room, tears springing up in her eyes.
It was only two minutes later when her bedroom door knocked. ‘Montespan?’ It was him. Camille stayed put on her bed, breathing harshly. He knocked again. ‘I know you’re in there.’ She groaned and braced herself. standing up to open the door. He stood over her, his face pale. ‘Montespan, it’s not what it looked like.’ ‘It’s alright Drake,’ she said, moving to shut the door. He brought his hand up and blocked her from shutting it in his face. ‘No, it’s not. Let me explain.’ She beckoned him inside and she sat down on the bed, watching him as he paced the floor. ‘I don’t like Kiara. I was in the library having a drink and she asked to join me, I would have preferred to be alone but hey, she was fucking persistent and kept speaking in French until she wore me down.’ Camille shrugged. ‘You can have drinks with whoever you want, Drake. You don’t have to justify it to me.’ ‘I do, though. I don’t want you to think that I don’t-’ He broke off. ‘Don’t what?’ ‘That I don’t care,’ he said. ‘I care about you. A lot. I don’t care about Kiara.’ Camille stood up and moved to him. ‘I can’t ask you to not spend time with the other girls, especially when I’m in this competition. I’d be a hypocrite.’ ‘I told you I would still be here. When you make your choice, I will be there, ready to accept whatever you decide.’ She looked up at him. He looked distraught. She placed a hand on his cheek. ‘I want out of this competition, desperately-’ ‘I know, Camille,’ he sighed, saying her first name. ‘But think of how that would look. How embarrassing for Liam. The press would drag your name through the mud. I can’t have you pull out for me.’ ‘But,’ she said, her voice wobbling. ‘I want you. You know I want you. You make me happy.’ Drake pulled her to him and wrapped his arms around her. She inhaled his smokey smell of leather and the taint of whiskey. ‘You make me happy too,’ he whispered. ‘More than anything.’ ‘Drake, if he proposes to me, I’m saying no.’ He looked down at her, his eyes burning. ‘He would be hurt. He’d feel betrayed, I’m his best friend.’ ‘He can marry Olivia,’ Camille said desperately, remembering what Maxwell said. Drake ran a finger along her jawline. ‘Somehow, I feel that he doesn’t want to.’  She sighed, clenching her fingers on his shirt.
‘We will work this out,’ he told her.  ‘Not right now but once things become clear, we will work it out. Don’t worry. I’m with you on this.’ She nodded and his lips brushed hers. ‘I promise I won’t speak to Kiara alone again.’ Camille shook her head. ‘That’s not fair. Besides, I know you don’t like her that way. I just saw you both and felt jealous.’ ‘But you know I don’t like her?’ he said, confused. ‘I meant jealous because I wish we could hang out in the library having a drink, being close and not having to watch ourselves. I wish we could spend time together in public without causing gossip. I felt jealous because Kiara can do that with you whenever she likes and I can’t.’ Drake rested his forehead on hers. ‘Maybe one day in the near future, we can.’ ‘Maybe.. it’s not certain.’ ‘Then, let’s just enjoy this moment for now. We’re alone, together. What do you want to do?’ She smiled. ‘Honestly? Something cute. Like a couple would do. Maybe we could order in pizza and watch a movie. Touch each other while watching the movie maybe? I have to meet the King and Queen later today but it will be nice to relax.’ Drake grinned. ‘Pizza delivered to the palace it is. What movie?’ ‘What do you like?’ ‘Anything, as long as I can watch it with you.’ She smiled and squeezed his hand. ‘I want this to be over. I want this out in the open.’ Drake kissed her softly. ‘Soon. But let’s just enjoy this for now.’ They spent the next two hours eating pizza and watching a rom-com. Drake hated rom-coms but he put up with it for her because they made her smile and he liked to see her smile. If he could help her in any way to feel relaxed, safe and happy, then he would watch a million rom-coms. He wrapped his arm around her tighter and she nuzzled into him, smiling, all worries about Kiara gone.

Regarding Season 5 Legends of Tomorrow
Spoilers mostly because of two paragraphs of quotes hinting at Season 5 but it's not really spoilery.
So everyone seems a little worried about the season finale spoilers which are hinting about what season 5 may be about and while I am a little something has been niggling at me, a lot of somethings.
If you are here only for Avalance. Check #4 it's a theory that I haven't been able to shake since I read the Season 5 spoilers.
Here for potential episode count of Season 5 of Legends of Tomorrow and/or the potential reasoning behind it's midseason, next year move? Try #3
Or here for a potential theory regarding Season 5 entirely. This also includes Avalance and has a little more backbone then #4. Check out #5
Here for Crisis on Infinite Earths? Check the last part.
So I made a list and dug back through almost every episode of Legends from season 3-4 to try to calm my fears and honestly I think there are some huge clues buried deep in there.
1. People are worried that next Season will be Legends of Tomorrow's last and I honest to god think Legends of Tomorrow will end with a Season 6 and not 5. Why do I think this? Mostly because the CW renewed it for season 5 didn't mention it was ending and renewed Arrow for season 8 and mentioned that it would be it's final season. Plus I doubt they'd end two of the Arrowverse shows one after the other. I know it hasn't been running as long as Arrow and Legends isn't the flagship show but I do believe they would've let people know if that would be it. Though that said I do believe Legends will have a Season 6 and that will be it's last, do I want it to be? No.
Should it be? That's to be determined.
There are hundreds of stories a show like Legends could tell but honestly ask yourself is it worth the risk of Legends losing what makes it Legends, let it and those in it go down as Legends I say.
2. And what happens when the Legends awaken the original guardians of Time (no, not the Time Masters, sillies, that was season one!) who wish to erase everything the Legends have “screwed up for the better” over the past four seasons?
I needed to especially hit this nail on the head, considering I began writing a fic back at the beginning of 3B about original guardians of time, I literally even called them Time Guardians and tied the original 2 of them to Adam and Eve and there was this whole plot surrounding what if and honestly Im scrapping it now, I was probably never going to finish it but I was almost half way through so thats something.
Now to get on with the actual point of this quote, I dont know if anybody has noticed but this entire season offset with the actors and actressess and onset as their characters, especially the closer it gets to the finale has been extremely focused on the wrongs season 1 did, how bad it was, how much the actors didn't like it (example - Dominic Purcell's quote, Phil Klemmers comments about it and on and on with the other actors), the quote above even mentions the fact that these guardians will try to correct the past 4 seasons and then there's Sara's and Mick's mention to it in "Nip/Stuck", the offshoot moment that had everyone going awwww when Mick mentioned they were the last of the originals and Sara mentioned they were different back then and that they are growing up but hopefully not apart (a huge hint I believe that this show is ready to tie the knot, just not season 5 ready because they'll need to be adults for that ending and they aren't quite there yet) season 4 was about coming to terms with that fact and season 5 will be about them acting on it, season 6 will be the realisation that every Legend has an ending. This is where season 5 'them acting on being adults' comes into it, I believe Legends is going to try to write season 1's wrong in a way they haven't done yet, do I mean they'll literally go back and rewrite season 1? No, i swear to god they better not that would be another level of unbelievable yet to be achieved but that doesn't mean certain aspects of season 1 won't have a huge impact, season 1 brought them together as in Sara's words "the original losers, not important to history" and now look at them. Season 1 of Legends will play a pivotal plot point to Season 5, a realisation of soughts. It's time for the Legends to grow up, realise that every action truly has consequences and that nothing lasts forever, something they couldn't fathom when Rip tried to keep them from fixing their mess in 3x01 forcing them to get normal lives and not be time travelling superheroes. Though they'll surely have their fun discovering this.
3. Midseason Return and episode count
Okay, I am not worried at all about this. Is it shitty? Yeah definitely. We won't be getting episodes until at least at minimum January next year but let's be honest with Batwoman hitting our screens, this was going to happen.
Legends of Tomorrow is the CW's most outrageous, crazy, no ordinary run of the mill show they have. It's no longer able to fit with the nitty gritty of the Arrowverse, it's in a league of its own.
These things are what make Legends of Tomorrow, Legends of Tomorrow. It wouldn't be the same if it resembled the street show Arrow is or the teen superhero show the Flash is or the normal, kind of? that Supergirl is or whatever type of darl thing Batwoman will be. Just like Black Lightning (which if you aren't watching, why?) Legends is something of its own. Unique.
Moving Legends away may very well be them realising this.
As for episode count, I don't expect anything above 16 episodes but I certainly don't expect anything below 13. This whole 10 episode rumour going around, I find it hard to believe, Arrow got 10 mostly because it's the last season and Stephen Amell requested a shorter series to end on.
4. Avalance - let's be honest most of you reading this are only here for the Avalance. Probably.
What do I think of Avalance leading into season 5? I think we got our answer perhaps in the form of Clexacon, 4B and the spoiler. Everyone is so concerned with the fact that they may break up that they haven't considered something entirely different.
In attempting to change her future, Zari Tomaz (Tala Ashe) will accidentally change not just the past she shared with Nate Heywood (Nick Zano), but fundamentally change who the Legends are in season five.
From this one paragraph everybody assumes they are going to be broken up in this new reality. If that turns out to be the case I am all here for a finding their way back to each other season. Remember, Sara and Ava are who each other want. They'll find their way back to one another.
Though this isn't what I get from this, remember Clexacon. Remember baby Beebo's? Remember Ava wanting a life with Sara and Sara not entirely sure she could give that to Ava with her past, remember everything with Sara's father, remember Ava wanting to talk about kids and so on and so on. Now I'm not saying Quentin will make an appearance but I am suggesting that what if this new reality is everything they ever wanted, what if it's paradise, Ava has a kid with Sara, Sara has her father and she's in a good place with Ava but nothing feels right. What if it changes their lives all for the better and season 5 is them coming to terms with the fact that they can't have something that isn't really real. Imagine Ava having to let go of a child, Sara having to say goodbye to a living family, Nate saying goodbye to his Dad again, Mick having to let go off being some famous writer and so on and so on for every other character. It's not their reality whether it's perfect or not at the end of the day they are heroes and now they need to prove it.
Will Avalance have a rough patch? No doubt.
Will they be broken up at the start of next season? Who knows, I don't, not really.
Will they find their place together? Definitely, I'd bet my life Legends Season 5 ends with Avalance. Though Season 6 may start with only one of them.
5. What if the opposite of the above happens?
What if it's the fact that Zari erases herself from history or never meets the Legends and detrimentally changes the future, I mean that was a theme through all of season 3 and looking back at the fantastic episode "Here We Go Again" Gideon and Zari figure out that without her they can't stop Mallus, what else would've happened without Zari.
If Zari never met the Legends what would the impact be?
First we need to take a look at Zari and what brought her too the Legends, namely her brother and the desire to save him, he gave her the totem, so let's think this through, if Zari some how manages to save her brother (I'm gonna say she saves him with her dragon, that dragon will come into play somehow, leaving it at Zari's was in no way a random thing), she never gets the totem, she never joins the Legends and the Legends no longer have six totems.
What then? What about Mallus? What about Nora?
What about Avalance, Zari (with the help of the cheeky bot, Sara's words not mine,) were catalysts for them, is it possible that without her push to Sara, Ava moved on with that ex in Vegas or someone else. It would give Legends and opportunity for some hilarious Sara jealousy and pining something we haven't really ever seen. Could you imagine? They would be friends with or without Zari but would they be together? Sara is a little stupid when it comes to admitting feelings and Ava is a little dense when it comes to anything Sara related, it would make for a joy to watch as Sara and Ava fall in love all over again but never truly get together until everything is fixed with time and they realise the lynch pin to their relationship starting was Zari.
What about Charlie? Or Constantine? Zari had a huge impact on both characters, "Legends of To-Meow-Meow" is all the proof you need.
Would Constantine even be a part of the team?
Would Charlie?
Would Mick be a writer, Zari gave him the push he needed, to be out as a writer and to be a writer. Without Zari, Here We Go Again never happened.
Zari impacted every one of Legends, willing or not. Mostly not.
What about those donuts? Would the Waverider be overrun by donuts? Poor Gideon.
Crisis on Infinite Earths
Alright this is because this makes me more nervous than Season 5 of Legends spoilers does. Probably because we haven't heard anything really and only have the comics to truly back the crazy theories surrounding it.
Lets give it a look. Canon flow of the story between all shows hasn't been the CW's greatest forte, their plot holes only seem to get bigger and bigger with every second or third episode that hits the screen as they try to tie all these shows together.
That said, one thing that has yet to become a plot hole, at least not that I've seen. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
The Legends were picked because they wouldn't impact history in any great way. Sara dying or any Legends dying to save the multiverse would throw a wrench into this and blow the biggest plot hole in Legends that would be pretty hard to turn around from. I'm not saying that they might not try because it is the CW but let's be honest going into Clexacon, Jes and Caity knew how Legends was going to end, Caity will be back for the next season which would be awkward if she died in the crossover (Though she does have a habit of coming back from death), so relax chill and wait to see that most likely this Crossover will show what happens with Oliver Queen the Arrow, one final Arrowverse send of for the one who started it. Love or loathe Arrow, personally for me it went downhill around season 5 but I hold a soft spot for it, love or loathe you probably wouldn't have everything else without it. So give it a round of applause when it finishes, Stephen Amell and the rest of them deserve it.
That said it is Crisis on Infinite Earths, who's to say that the new season of Legends will take place on the Earth we are familiar with, after all they're time travellers, who needs Earth, time will do just fine. Just have to wait and see.
If only we had a time machine right?

Matteo’s character is definitely a grey character. It is someone who is not giving you neither good or bad vibes but you want to peel the layers and get to know them because exactly they are not landing on either side of the scale. So you find yourself asking who are you? But Lola’s, Moyo’s, Constantin’s aren’t. They outright were written to appear villain (there is nothing grey about them) at the beginning and the question they pose is why are you like this what happened in your life to cause that? Here we have the darkness showcased and now we are wondering about the lightness in them. So they are creating a different type of mystery for us as viewers.
similar anon: Matteo in grouped with Lola and Moyo thats a strange combo. I understand the correlation that you are trying to make between the characters, but Matteo still seems misplaced. He was apathetic and without direction, where Lola was self destructive and cruel and Moyo was hateful and offensive. Matteo still belongs to the isaks, even if his character was less social than the others
similar anon: I was reading your description of Constantin thinking there is no hope for that one until i realise him and Moyo are just alike. If Moyo can improve somewhat, I guess anyone can, even tho i really dont wanna like constantin
So I feel like we are all circling the drain on one thing that makes matteo different from the other 3 which is he tends to hurt himself before he hurts others. The others hurt themselves and everyone else. I think to a young audience you see lola, constantine and moyo and think these people are horrible and they are.  But then you take in mind their lives and that they are all 16/17 they are babies and then you start taking into account everything we know about their environment and your like no wonder they are so horrible and fucked up. Am not excusing their behavior btw but you have to remember they are all at the tipping point before they cross the threshold into adulthood and this is who their adult self is going to grow up to be or we can still find a way to save them from themselves.
Like even lola I still see aspects of her personality that she needs to shake to be a healthy functioning adult like she still needs alot of work but at least she is sober. Same with Moyo, I like they didnt give him a personality transplant he can and is still a dick sometimes but he is working on it. Tho he needs to dump kato on the asap and get him a beautiful black queen and we may make more progress. If constantine is actually being abused at home which I think he is it explains why he is so abusive to Nora and as well to Ismail because I dont think he knows how to show love with out being wrapped up in emotional abuse. Thats a very different flavor from why moyo is a dick because its learned response formulated by his parents and moyo is very loved by his mom he has the emotional support in his household. I think constantine’s emotional support is ismail. Like I said we dont know for sure but druck has been showing us flickers of this for awhile.  Also I dont think we are meant to end the series and Lola, Moyo and Constantine walk into the sunset and live happily ever after. We are hoping as an audience that they have started to identify their flaws and are trying to make real changes. I dont think we are ever meant to know if they succeed because its one of those we push them out to sea and we just hope they can grow.
