In terms of strength, how strong would you say Ringo and Katsuya are? Compare them to a character as a measure of strength.
if it’s physical strength, well…
Katsuya is weak due to his family curse, with his entire body starting to rot from the neck down. Someone like Tokito can crush his hands, and Shinobu can probably overpower him alone if she can outlast him. Hell, by the time the Kamaboko squad enters the corps, if Uzui or Himejima slaps him on the back he’ll probably spit blood. Not that anyone find out anytime soon, haha.
Now Ringo, on the other hand, is as strong as Big Mom was when she was five? So like, one accidental slap and he can shatter bones and burst organs. After he finds out in one unfortunate incident (in Chap 1), Ringo has made it his mission to get his strength under control so it never happens again against his wishes.
By the time he gets to adulthood and after the shit I will put him through is another entire story altogether. And that’s all I can say for now!
Good God seunghyo has such severe abandonment issues because at some point in his life, he's managed to lose everything he's ever held close - Forced to quit his ambition due to no fault of his own, cheating mom, neglectful dad, everything but the heavy, heavy feelings he's been carrying for seokryu for over a decade.
He keeps telling seokryu to move on, that they're not the same anymore but he's unable to get over the icy fear that if he does confess, if he does acknowledge his love for her and decide to do something about it, he will lose again. Like that morning in her dorm when he went all the way the the states to confess only to realise he lost her for the first time. Like that time when he got seokryu's wedding invite and he lost her for the second time. And when he overhears her saying "I still love him" and he thinks he's lost her for the third.
And maybe the logical answer is to buck up and confront that fear and confess but love rarely runs on logic. She is and has been the only thread of stability in his life, his only source of unwavering support and his experiences have convinced him that the only way to keep her in his life is to hold her at arm's length. Unrequited feelings are painful but he'll gladly take that over the slightest chance that he'll lose her, again. Because when the oops is too big of a loss, you learn to settle for the what ifs.
What Mahito did: Manipulate Junpei into being his friend and then killed him in front of Yuji, laughed about Yuji's desperation to save him, killed Nanami, got Nobara into a coma, destroyed one of Todo's hands
Yuji with Mahito at the end:
What Sukuna did: Threaten to kill Yuji's friend multiple times, ripped Yuji's heart out of his chest and then tricked him into making a Binding Vow that he would have to forget in order to bring him back to life, laughed at Yuji when he desperately begged him to try and save Junpei, told him over and over again that his mere existence would bring destruction simply by being his vessel, destroyed Shibuya and killed countless of innocent people, ditched Yuji to make Megumi his new vessel, then sinked Megumi's soul as deep as he could in darkness in order to keep control of his body, killed Tsumiki, killed Gojo, killed Kashimo, killed Higuruma, killed Choso, almost killed Yuta and pushed him into using Kenjaku's CT to get into Gojo's body, kept praising literally everyone else but Yuji (while still trying to kill them), who he kept talking shit about instead, got pissed when Yuji showed pity and told him that he would kill every single person still left alive that Yuji cared about before finally killing him
Ohhhh, Anon's perfect apple ask is now giving me blessed imagery of Dusknoir cutting apple slices into bunny shapes. Maybe for Opal, maybe for him to show off, either way.
The soft, the dexterity, the GENTLENESS after such a prolonged period of violence he had undergone. Opal called him her gramps for a reason, after all.

Hey how does it feel to have given me a prompt that had me tearing up all throughout the process of drawing it because of how unbearably heartfelt and endearing it is?
no thoughts head empty the oppressive stagnancy of legacy in ever after high dragging me round the block yet again
it's such a shame that we get so little explanation about the actual mechanics of destiny, which is the entire premise of the show, bc it's so juicy. like what power does destiny hold when you rip away milton's lies and centuries of assumptions and traditions. esp bc despite raven signing herself as the evil queen in the real storybook of legends, when the snow white fairytale actually happens in dragon games she's playing one of the seven dwarves and her mother has reprised her role. like how much of that was because of the characters' actions and how much was destiny pulling on old, familiar threads. keeps me up at night.
a lot of this is probably just like, plot holes and writer hot potato but i like making it that deep, that's half of the fun. my personal interpretation is that fate is a wild thing that desires repetition and they developed the system of fairytale legacy bloodlines to keep those repetitions predictable and contained, instead of wreaking havoc whenever and wherever they please.
which lends itself to some really juicy exploration of how legacy is a duty as much as it is a privilege, and how to be a princess or a witch or a hero or a dragon is to be the same thing in the end: the lamb destiny slaughters on the altar to sate the ever-ravenous narrative. to keep the flock safe. keep the unknown that prowls beyond the beaten path at bay. because if a there is always a mother who will be cruel, or a maiden who will fall into a sleep like death, or a child who will become a bird, isn’t it better to know who, and how, and when? isn’t better if it’s you, who has known your whole life that you must be eaten, be poisoned, be stripped of your humanity, rather than anybody else, who wasn’t raised to see it as an honour instead of a great and terrible injustice?
sunshipduo zombie apocolypse au but guqqie is partly infected and slowly becoming more and more zombie
aimsey tries their best to protect guqqie from other survivors and guqqie in turn does the same (she has gotten very good murdering, being part zombie has a few perks)
I think it would be absolutely hilarious if Ringo was the one to explain the many joys of sex and puberty to the charlotte siblings 🤣
Oh yeah this crossed my mind too lol but thankfully Perospero and Compote are surprisingly educated in this so there won’t be chaos once puberty hits. He does have to calm a couple down (the younger boys, especially). Cracker walked in on his sisters by accident once and panicked, since that’s a LOT of blood why is there blood on their pants, oh my god they’re dying.
Anyways all brothers in the family do end up being familiar with the topic of menstruation so they aren’t entirely useless dealing with it haha
sex isn’t a topic they sat down to talk about, but the elder group and subsequently passing down to the rest warns their siblings on what are the signs and what to do when someone is touching them without consent. Which is: maiming and stabbing and biting and screaming
i know astrology is fake but i'm not too keen on how a lot of people on this website seem to be clowning on it as a hobby a bit too hard. i swear the woman who thinks it's neat how she and her friends with the same sun sign are all similar isn't trying to say that you are who you are born as and there is nothing you can do to change it. it's a hobby. an interest. what happened to finding meaning and joy in the small things. does it affect you if someone enjoys tarot reading or crystals. does it make you upset someone has interests that they enjoy.
I'm serious when I said asian movies always gave more impact to me than western movies.
