Ok, I only have this one drawing of this OC but I am so normal about this right now, Was gonna wait till I got more art of them but oh well.

What's this odd looking Wormwood that looks to be made of trash? Well this is my DST OC, in the form of Wormwood. Their name is Wannabe, or B (pronounced Bee). They're a sentient pile of literally trash.

They're "The Bootleg" and their gimmick is they copy other survivors, but, badly. The way they do things is that they don't entirely understand half the time of why survivors do the things they do that particular way, all they know is the execution, and intended result. When they transform to a survivor, they do their best to 'act' the part. When they get hurt or overwhelmed they collapse into a pile of trash.

They can easily replace parts of themselves and when their body somehow burns in it's entirety, they respawn at some random junk yard or trash pile instead.

I'll draw em more forms once I get to it.

I just read The Art of Starving by Sam J. Miller. It has a gay Jewish protagonist with an eating disorder. It's amazing and I think I would be a different person if I'd had it as a young person.

SERIOUS HUGE TRIGGER WARNING FOR FOOD RESTRICTION. I'M SERIOUS DON'T EVEN READ THE FIRST PAGE UNTIL YOU ARE IN AN OK PLACE TO DEAL WITH IT.

I found it very triggering BUT the first half was by far the worst and I managed to enjoy the book without reviving some very bad habits by 1. Reading it all the way thru in one day so that if I couldn't eat while reading it, it would just be a short fast, and 2. Having a friend with experience peer counseling others with eating disorders to talk about it with.

I very much recommend this book to anyone, especially boys and young men, who feels at war with their body. It helped me start to work thru stuff I should have done during first puberty.

Again PLEASE make sure you are in a place mentally where you can read triggering content related to disordered eating. It's in diary format, with calorie counts on each day and each chapter begins in second person. But it's so worth the struggle of reading it. The prose is of a quality that makes it feel like a long-form Siken poem in the form of a tortured teen diary. Enjoy and take care of yourself.

I am such a goddamn helpless baby, lol

I just woke up, and within my interesting dreams, there was me using internet and seeing that one mutual again. They were the first person to interact with me in this fandom almost two years ago and they were crucial part of my Tumblr and fandom experience, really. Always thinking deep and giving hella interesting ask replies and writing fanfics, they were like... smart? Worth talking to. I just loved seeing their takes a lot? They liked my lore too and they offered solid ideas of their own, which was refreshing.

But like, they disappeared one day, just deactivated both Tumblr and AO3 apparently? And it felt a little less right on Tumblr without them, but after having a dream that they were back I just wake up and cry? Jeez

Guess you never know who/what happens to be really important for good internet experience???? Like just following a blog that vibes right can end up being such a comfort thing for my sorry autistic ass. It is hard to explain that I cherish people who have something to say, who are worth talking to! But it is always the best one who either deactivate or just never post again one day? Though it is only natural that sane people run from what internet and fandoms became

I am trying so hard to learn how to recreate junji ito's style, and I literally think that the line work is so detailed that my poor little crippled wrists are not up to the task

But! I think I have figured out a way to work around that using pre-made cross-hatching brushes in clip studio! Which means hopefully I can focus on getting down the major shapes of his illustrations, and then i can learn how to fill in the ludicrous amount of tiny tiny little lines digitally!

and THEN I am going to draw characters from the video game Don't Starve Together in that style! And vice versa. I would love to draw a cute little chibi of Tomie 😈☠🙀

Time to crack into the file entitled "scary boi jail" that I keep on both my phone and my computer, so I can trace a bunch of panels from Uzumaki.
